irondad coraline au

with Tony Stark being Iron Man and Pepper busy being the CEO of Stark Industries, Peter's been feeling not-so-great. He knows his adoptive parents care about him, they're just very busy! But he can't help feeling neglected, even when they go on a family vacation to one of their summer houses and Peter explores the vast house.

So would you even be surprised that Peter immediately imprinted on this nicer, bubbly, and warm version of his dad when he walked through that small door in the wall? Sure he's got shiny black buttons for eyes, his skin is as pale as a ghost and his fingers are a little too long and slender but even for a dream that feast he cooked up tastes too good to be fake. At least it's better than forgetting Peter had to eat after a long day of work and just ordering takeout.

But then things start getting... weird. Peter is obviously freaked out at the idea of having buttons for eyes but when he tries to go to sleep he doesn't get transported back home.

After that nightmarish encounter with the Other Pepper who doesn't really look like her anymore (he noticed her skin looked like bread dough that had begun to rise, smoothing out the bumps, cracks, and depressions), Peter confronts the Other Tony, who's merrily eating beetles ("from Zanzibar!" he added) until Peter demands that he wants to be with his real parents; something that really ticks him off. Suddenly he's growing taller, or is Peter becoming smaller somehow?

It doesn't matter though, because the Other Tony grabs Peter by the ear and locks him in a mirror closet, for being "an ungrateful son."

There Peter meets the other children this "Belsire" has trapped in his home through deception, and Peter knows he has to free them, along with his real parents that the Beslire has captured. Will he be able to do it? Or will he succumb to the Belsire's sinister intentions for him?

Marcille knew Chilchuck wasn't a kid, but she often struggled to take him seriously as an adult because he was just so adorable and small. You get marchil so much you truly do. The way they mesh, the way their views on mortality clash and both soothe & bruise… He doesn’t have much time left even in best case scenario (which Mr I won’t eat well I’ll drink and smoke a lot I’ll stress all day every day is determined to not make happen) which makes it all the more meaningful for Marcille’s arc when she learns from him to finally enjoy the present moments… It’ll only be a fraction of her life, but to him he’s giving her the rest of his life. What are some decades of love worth? Worth it, surely, if nothing else
