A wallpaper design for the @90scartoonszine, featuring the titular characters from the TV series Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot.

This cartoon is something I've always had at the back of my mind, even if I don't remember a single episode or scene about it haha. But I remember the character designs well — enough to have made crossover fanart of them before, and to want to work on them for this zine.

I also made a mobile/portrait version of this wallpaper, and a PPG stickersheet. Go check out the zine if you're old and cranky like me nostalgic for '90s cartoons that you may or may not have grown up with!

Re-Spun Threads is a paperback comic anthology of fairytales and folklore set in cultures (micro or macro) outside the original or well-known version of classic tales. 

Sixteen creators and creative teams came together to craft short comics based on the concept of retelling classic tales with the twist that the characters and/or time and place had to change from the original. The goal was to bring the structure of a fairytale and mold it to convey themes and cultures more relevant to ourselves-- Not to unweave the tapestry of tales that we love, but to rework them into something new.

Happy 5-year anniversary to Odyssey. I have so many precious memories of this game. The most memorable one is when I opened a book I did Kassandra cover art for (x) and saw her back with a dragon tattoo covers an entire page. Every so often I’ll wander my school’s library and pick up something interesting. Today I picked up “What Happened to You? Writing by Disabled Women” and I definitely plan on finishing this. It’s an anthology of writing by and for disabled women, and so far it’s made me very emotional.

I’ll save my proper review for once I’ve finished, but so far I would recommend this to anyone who wants to further their understanding of disabled people and our personal lives.

I accidentally annihilated the last thing I meant to dual read with THE ELEMENTS OF ELOQUENCE, so! Reevaluating that! It turns out the chapters in ELOQUENCE are very short and there are Very Many Of Them, and I don't want them all to bleed together (because, oops, there go the figures of rhetoric into word soup, that way, which is not the goal). Instead, I'm going to dual wield ELOQUENCE and a short story or two out of this every night until they're both done! Easing back into ~horror adjacent writing vibes~ one bite at a time, over here.
