It's time for machine comforts. Comforts we can't understand, or experience. Let them be happy, let them be at peace with their body.

Does a breath of cool water feel nice on their systems? When it's quiet do they listen to their own heart and feel the electricity pulsing? Does it remind them that they are alive and a part of this world? Do they have dreams? Hopes and projects they wish to work on, hobbies?

Why get off the string into the harsh and deadly world, fighting for survival and losing everything they've ever known to love about themselves?

What about the safety of their bodies? How scary would it be for a machine with thousands, maybe millions of throughs to suddenly have just a handful. The horror of everything going silent.

They have hundreds of eyes to see the world for all its beauty, they capture moments that would otherwise go unseen. Why blind themselves of such things?

They definitely grabbed Cabals Ruin from Ripley's corpse in TLOVM right? That would be a very strange thing to retcon. Percy's gonna need that beautiful magic cloak when they go fight {Redacted}. And it would be a little weird to have everyone else get one and not give one to Percy in the animation. Grog got his knuckles, Vax got the armor, Pike got the armor, Vex got the bow, Scanlan got the sword, The only other person who hasn't gotten theirs yet is Keyleth and I'm 99.99% sure it's because they're going to turn that part of the story into an Ashari thing, probably when she finishes her Aramente. Hopefully they'll also tie in some extra Wildmother lore for when she receives the spire of conflux.

Anyway I'm sure they did, the twins must have yanked it too quickly for me to see. Or in season 4 they're going to have to go scuba diving I guess lol. Hopefully they don't run into any kraken!
