Our Compassionate High Priest
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us live our lives consistent with our confession of faith. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned. 16 So let us keep on coming boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

“The liberty which Christ has purchased for believers under the gospel, consists in their freedom from the guilt of sin, the condemning wrath of God, the rigor and curse of the law, and in their being delivered from this present evil world, bondage to Satan, and dominion of sin, from the evil of afflictions, the fear and sting of death, the victory of the grave, and everlasting damnation: as also in their free access to God, and their yielding obedience unto Him, not out of slavish fear, but a child-like love and willing mind.”

Jesus Shows Up (John 20:19-31)
“Peace be with you!” Jesus
Jesus shows himself to Thomas, by Rowan and Irene LeCompte
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with…

Joseph is 17, a tattletale, and not very humble or smart. Joseph Enslaved, He Prospers Falsely Accused & Thrown into Prison While in Prison, He Prospers. ok i won't go too far into it, but can i just say how grateful i am, as an autistic girl, that mariah is so open about her autism? like it might seem like such a small thing -- making a joke here and there, posting stuff on her instagram story -- but it's so validating to see someone you're inspired by be open and proud of being autistic. i want to be an actor, and i've always been scared that my social issues, sensory problems, etc would get in the way of my dream. it's just so awesome to see someone like me, doing what i want to do. when people say representation matters, they're for real :D

I want to rob everyone. Like... literally everyone. All People of Interest and Love interests. I know it'll be a bitch to code but I want it so bad...
Let me rob Bailey during fights and face the consequences and see the look they give us (like how they stare at us for beating up people pay for us in our sleep), I want Wren to smirk at us while we leave the cottage with nothing but their wallet and the pot.... Remy losing their handmade and produced leather wallet to a 'dumb cow'. Leighton paying us for sex but finding a few extra bills missing...
Let me rob Avery during sex and feel their wrath. Alex wondering if their pockets were always so light. I can imagine Eden putting a bell on us to make sure our grubby little hands don't take anything else but their heart.
I want to see Whitney getting lowkey turned on by seeing us rob them blind—similar to how we get + Love when we commit crimes with them. Need to see Kylar on their knees trying to shove more money into our hands. Yearn to see Sydney try to get us to change or grow tempted to either rob us back in a sinful form of flirtation.
The image of Robin feeling betrayed if we pickpocket them lives rent free in my mind especially... Stealing their money from them when we're supposedly their protector?
Love it.
That's so hot...

tapping the sign that says: IF the confession / dean reciprocating is going to be something further explored in the revival then jensen / anyone involved cannot make definitive statements abt dean's feelings or destiel's reunion until it's actually shown. it would be spoiling future arcs or getting ppl's hopes up for a specific outcome that they don't have the authority to promise yet.
of course jensen is going to continue to give vague / deflecting answers. the only thing they CAN canonically speak on IS the confession because that's what's already happened. jensen can also speak on his acting choices in that scene, like how he's previous talked about where dean's headspace was at when he was sitting on the dungeon floor after.
but they literally can't be making Official Statements abt if dean reciprocates or how their reunion will play out bc we likely will be seeing that on screen and to speculate or talk abt it would potentially spoil what they're planning (since the revival at this point is pretty much a WHEN not IF scenario)

Huh, I didn't even realize it'd been a year since BG3 came out until I opened tumblr this morning. Kinda wild. I didn't think much of the game's release: I like Larian's games, and I like the BG series. I wasn't ever going to skip the game, but I didn't think I'd play it at launch because I was busy working on a novel in 2023 and not doing well financially.
Thankfully, circumstances left me with a little bit of extra money last year just before launch and it meant I could spend on a video game. I needed a pick-me-up after said 2023 novel failed to go anywhere, and BG3 was right there. Like most CRPGs, I played it in basically every moment of free time that I had and did as much as I possibly could in one playthrough.
It's so odd how these small happenstances can snowball into coming back to fandom, finding some friends I might've never met otherwise, and writing a lot of fanfiction along the way. I'll probably have something more interesting to say/share when it's the 14th, AKA when I sat down and wrote my first fic for this fandom.
Anyways, it's been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to more years to come 💜

The worst part about reading in a genre where you have low expectations (in this case, Christian historical fiction) is that when a book impresses you, you have no idea if it's actually good or if you're just overly impressed because it was a fraction of a degree better than the usual garbage.
