"you’re no good for me" "but baby, i want you, i want you, i want you"
pairings: klaus mikaelson x human fem!reader
warnings/tags: smut (18+), blood kink, blood sharing, unprotected sex (practice safe sex guys), creampie, needy klaus.
summary: you let klaus feed on you.
you'd expected him to be hungry. you just hadn't realized how ravenous he was, nor what drinking blood did to him.
"f-fuck, ah— c-careful," you gasped.
your voice echoed in the empty room, and his pleasurable grunts echoed with it. it was so dark that you could barely see a thing. you winced, again, from the strange new sensations surging through your body.
"ah— c-careful, klaus, please" you squeaked, it was the only sound that could escape your throat as he clamped your shoulder in his jaw. your neck was soaked, smeared in spit and blood, a leftover gift from when he had searched for the safest spot to drink.
he'd settled on the spot between your collarbone and neck, and there his teeth had sunk in.
with his fangs pierced right down to the bone and his lips bruising your skin, he continued to carefully suck your blood out and into his mouth. it felt like heaven, warm and wet sliding down his throat. to you it was a confusing mix of pleasure and pain.
"a-ah... is—is it, okay?" you whimpered.
klaus let out a low moan in response.
you couldn't move. you were clamped in his jaw, the jaw of a predator designed to keep its prey still, and his body was pinning yours to the cold wood of the floor.
to any passerby you would have looked terrifying. his body was obscured in the dark, appearing as just a hulking, bloody shadow, merging and distorting the outline of your own form; the visage of a monster in the night, consuming the body of a frightened human.
but that wasn't how you saw it. no, you were in the thralls of absolute delight.
one of his hands were on your waist, his fingers carefully drawing you up until you were held taut beneath his body, and the other hand was feverishly groping your tits.
he had torn your dress to feed and then tore a little further, leaving your skin bare right down to your ribs. he was squeezing, stroking, his thumb desperately massaging your nipple. he wanted to hear your whimpers, your soft jolts when he overstimulated that sensitive spot.
you felt him sink down between your legs, his hardened bulge thick and round as it nudged at your bare thigh. he was softly grinding it up against your panties.
you'd never do this, never. this wasn't like you at all. but you were doing it now.
you were mewled as he dry-humped your little body.
your breath was ragged, the soft puffs of condensation from your lips turned a ghostly white by the pale light.
feeding had always been a euphoric experience for him. but now, with you, it had become a full body orgasmic experience, feeding every positive stimulus in his brain and body.
every nerve in his body was on fire in the best way. his body was pulsing, pumping. his arms were covered in goosebumps, his dark hair standing on end, and his cock was painfully erect beneath his pants.
he needed relief. he needed more.
"mmm... mmm," his muffled groans got louder as he continued to feed.
his conscious brain was fighting those deep, vampiric urges, the need to indulge in pleasure no matter the consequences, but his subconcious was primal.
if he had his way he'd drain everything, slowly, all while pumping between your legs into your pretty little cunt, but he couldn't allow that.
you were a sweet, naïve thing, you'd just let him take you up here. your whimpers were heaven, but your softness was too pure for him to fully ruin.
so he forced himself to break a part from you.
he withdrew his fangs and pulled back, revealing the purple, bruised skin of your shoulder. he licked the wound clean before forcing himself away.
"please, please, if you—if you give me your wrist, i—i'll be done, and—"
klaus paused to pant, his lips still stained red. you watched your own blood drip down his chin.
"and, if i could... have you, in another way, it may help to, calm my urges" he said, his voice husky and dark. you watched his eyes glimmer a bright gold. "may i have you?"
"yes," you instinctively blurted, he lunged forward and kissed you. his lips were hard, rough, and you could taste the metallic sting of blood on them. when he pulled back he looked overjoyed.
"good. good. come here, love," he ordered.
you jolted as he dragged your body forward. he carefully tore a hole through your dress and panties with his bare hands.
you shuddered as the cold air hit your bare and slick-coated pussy, but klaus didn't leave you bare for long.
he roughly manhandled you onto the ground before stripping out his suit, allowing his already erect cock to fall down hard on your clit. the sight caused a small, surprised noise to escape your throat, one that he relished.
he was slow, deliberately distracting you with his cock as he raised your wrist to his mouth. he kept you captivated as he carefully slid it inch by inch down your swollen clit, letting you feel every inch.
the pleasure of sinking both his teeth and his cock into you at once was enough to make him physically shake.
with a soft grunt he penetrated both.
your words were turned to gibberish as he pushed his cock in deep, until his pelvis was perfectly squished up against you. the moment your blood hit his throat he started to pump.
you were inside him, and he was inside you. on that filthy, cold floor, you were his.
he started to push his cock in tandem with his teeth.
as his fangs gently shifted beneath the skin, as his lips sucked and bruised, his fat cock gently slipped in and out of your cunt. for such a furious feeder he was a surprisingly gentle lover.
he was terrifyingly strong, that much was clear up close. he bent your thighs until they ached, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he held you in place, and with each push you could feel the power he was holding back.
you felt him pumping, drawing out your precious blood while his cock ravaged you from inside. each delicious slip, each pulsing throb, every time you felt his cock twitching for attention against your creamy walls, it was unbearable.
you were whining, your heavy breathes producing less and less ghostly condensation. klaus was panting furiously with each thrust, his breath condensing like smoke as he huffed through his curled nose. he was lost in the pleasure, the urge, the need.
and between the tightness, the heat, the copious oozing slick squelching and pooling around his bare skin and dripping off his balls as they smacked against your ass, mixed with the sound of you whining and the fresh blood in his body, he couldn't last any longer.
with a single, muffled groan, klaus came inside of you. his blue eyes rolled back and his body began to buck, smacking your hips until they went numb.
just as he felt your hot blood filling his mouth you felt his thick seed pooling and squishing its way into your cunt, filling every available space. it started to seep out as he continued to hump your limp body, now hanging in sweat, hot pearly strings between his pelvis and your inner thighs.
he pumped inside you until he was utterly spent, his own head now hazy and light, and at last he released you. your wrist fell limp to the floor.
klaus coyly wiped his mouth on the back of his wrist before brushing your forehead. "are—are you alright?"
the relief he felt when you shakily nodded was unmatched.
"thank you," he murmured, his fingers lingering on your cheek. "you were... delicious."

Top 10 Inventions of the Industrial Revolution
The British Industrial Revolution transformed life at work and at home for practically everyone. Noise, pollution, social upheaval, and repetitive jobs were the price to pay for labour-saving machines, cheap and comfortable transportation, more affordable consumer goods, better lighting and heating, and faster ways of communication.
Any shortlist of inventions is bound to be far from complete, but the following have been chosen not only for what they could do but also for how they permitted other inventions to become possible and how they transformed working life and everyday living for millions of people. The period under consideration is also important and here is taken as 1750 to 1860. With these criteria in mind, the top 10 inventions of the Industrial Revolution were:
The Watt Steam Engine (1778)
The Power Loom (1785)
The Cotton Gin (1794)
Gas Street Lighting (1807)
The Electromagnet (1825)
The First Photograph (c. 1826)
Stephenson's Rocket (1829)
The Electrical Telegraph (1837)
The Steam Hammer (1839)
Mass Steel Production (1856)
The Watt Steam Engine
The steam engine, which harnessed power from the expansion of heated water, is often cited as the single most important invention of the Industrial Revolution, principally because so many other important subsequent inventions used it as their power source. The steam engine was born from the necessity to pump out flooded mine shafts and enable deeper mining. The first steam pump was invented by Thomas Savery (c. 1650-1715) in 1698. In 1712, Thomas Newcomen (1664-1729) perfected his more powerful steam pump to drain coal mines of water in Dudley in the Midlands.
To make the steam engine more useful for other purposes, it had to be made more efficient both in terms of fuel consumption and power. The Scottish instrument maker James Watt (1736-1819) and Matthew Boulton (1728-1809) kept tinkering with the workings of the steam engine until, in 1778, they had perfected a separate condenser to vastly increase the engine's efficiency. Power was also increased by the steam powering the piston down not just up (hence its name, a double-acting engine), increasing the 'horsepower', a term coined by Watt. The engine also had its power converted to a more versatile rotary motion using a flywheel. Using just one-quarter of the fuel of Newcomen's engine, Watt's engine was cheap enough to use almost anywhere. Steam engines kept on evolving, notably with the expansion steam engine, and they benefitted from ever-better tool machinery that could make stronger and better-fitting parts.
By 1800, Britain boasted over 2,500 steam engines, most of them used in mines, cotton mills, and manufacturing factories. 500 of these engines were made by the Watt and Boulton factory in Birmingham. Every walk of life was affected. Steam now powered fountains, threshing machines, sewage pumps, and printing presses. Essentially, any work that required pushing, pulling, lifting, or pressing could be made much more efficient using steam-powered machines. Steam engines were harnessed for trains and steamships, and, aptly, all these uses caused a boom in the coal mining industry, which had been the origin of the machine in the first place.

Okay so in setting up the AC I was really carefully looking for the part where it specified where the water drains out because window ac units usually do that out the window... and I was not finding it. There's a drain in the bottom of the unit and one higher up, but it says to leave them plugged unless you are running the dehumidifier.
Nowhere does it explicitly state that only using the AC you are expected to periodically wheel it over a drain and pull out the plug... But it does have an alarm to let you know when the water is too full.
So I have been watching it carefully on account of the whole "We didn't scent the gas so it might leak and you might not smell it, lol" take this unit has on safety, and I had been noticing a gurgling sound and a smell, this far into running it that i did not care for...
But the smell was just sort of vaguely "wet" and the gurgling sounded like water specifically, so I tried opening the drain and yes, it had condensed water in the pan and the gurgling has now stopped.
Problem. It is up on a desk with the wheels taped in place.
Solution, I extended their hose with one of my own and put the other end in a bucket. I now have a bucket handy with purified-ish water in it to water my plants out of.
But there was a lot more water than I was expecting this apartment is so dry already that I have to water plants an absurd amount, because that's where all the moisture I have in the air at all is coming from. So at least by dumping this water back into my plants I am restoring the humidity...
And now that means I have a complete water cycle in my apartment, only the rain part is stuck in the machine and I have to mechanically water things... I -am- the rain.
But I have a cat water fountain pump, a timer switch and a LOT of silicone tubing I no longer need for another project... So... When I get everything situated and get to experimenting I might just set up some automatic plant watering, or at least plant watering on the flick of a switch. I'll have to see.

Signs That Your AC Needs Repair and When to Call in the Pros: A Guide by On The Spot Air Conditioning & Heating Plano

Maintaining a comfortable indoor environment is crucial, especially during scorching summers. Your air conditioning (AC) system plays a vital role in keeping your home cool and comfortable. However, like any other mechanical system, AC units can experience wear and tear over time, leading to various issues that may affect their efficiency. Recognizing the signs that indicate the need for AC repair is essential to prevent minor problems from turning into major malfunctions. In this article, we'll explore common signs that your AC may be in trouble and when it's the right time to seek professional assistance, brought to you by On The Spot Air Conditioning & Heating Plano.
Insufficient Cooling:
If you notice that your AC is struggling to cool your space adequately, it could be a sign of a malfunction. This may manifest as uneven cooling, warm air blowing from the vents, or a noticeable decrease in overall cooling efficiency. Issues like a refrigerant leak, a malfunctioning compressor, or a clogged air filter could be the culprits.
Unusual Noises:
Unusual sounds coming from your AC unit can be indicative of underlying problems. Hissing, grinding, squealing, or banging noises may suggest issues with the fan, compressor, or other internal components. Ignoring these sounds could lead to more severe damage, making it crucial to address them promptly.
Frequent Cycling:
An AC system that cycles on and off frequently, known as short cycling, may be experiencing issues with its thermostat, refrigerant levels, or a malfunctioning sensor. Short cycling not only reduces energy efficiency but also puts unnecessary strain on the system, potentially leading to more significant problems.
Poor Airflow:
Inadequate airflow can result from a dirty or clogged air filter, a malfunctioning blower fan, or blocked ducts. Reduced airflow not only diminishes the overall cooling capacity of your AC but also puts a strain on the system, leading to increased energy consumption.
Water Leaks:
If you notice water pooling around your AC unit or water leaks inside your home, it's a sign of a potential issue. The most common causes include a clogged condensate drain, a refrigerant leak, or a malfunctioning condensate pump. Ignoring water leaks can lead to water damage and mold growth.
When to Seek Professional Assistance:
While some minor AC issues can be addressed through regular maintenance and DIY troubleshooting, certain signs warrant professional intervention. Consider seeking assistance from On The Spot Air Conditioning & Heating Plano in the following situations:
Lack of Cooling: If your AC is not producing cool air or fails to maintain a comfortable temperature, it's time to call in the professionals.
Unusual Noises: Strange sounds emanating from your AC unit should be inspected by a qualified technician to identify and address potential problems.
Frequent Cycling: Short cycling can indicate an underlying issue that requires professional attention to prevent further damage.
Water Leaks: Any signs of water leakage should be addressed promptly to prevent damage to your home and the AC system.
Electrical Issues: If you experience electrical problems, such as frequent tripped circuit breakers or issues with the thermostat, it's advisable to consult a professional technician.
Regular maintenance and prompt attention to signs of AC trouble can prolong the lifespan of your system and ensure optimal performance. If you notice any of the mentioned signs, don't hesitate to reach out to On The Spot Air Conditioning & Heating Plano for professional AC repair services. Timely intervention can save you from costly repairs and keep your home cool and comfortable throughout the seasons.

How ya'll doing my first attempt at fixing my HVAC only partly/temporarily solved the leak, so after draining the pan by hand about 10 times now, replacing the condenser pump, checking the condenser pump line, replacing my air filter, trying (and failing) to find a bristle brush on a flex spring tube to manually scrub the drain pipe clean, doing my best to unclog the pipe with a cheap plastic sink clog remover, half a bottle of vinegar, and a tea kettle full of boiling water, I'm resorting to shoving a random bit of Ikea tubing into the access joint, clogging the rest of the pipe with paper towels, and forcefully heaving my full lung capacity into the pipe like the world's most disgusting vuvuzela.

design notes: we were looking for a way to control access to the rooftop terrace where we have glass stairs, using the staircase frame with a door on the side
also we are seeing a duct take place inside the overall stairs, for AC, split in and out, the intake is somewhere on the outer wall, this duct leads all the way to the cooling coils and blower in the machines room
the part that we don't see is how air circulates inside the larger walls of each floor and even inside the glass walls, we have seen only part of it, but it's the same principle
and even the condenser on the rooftop, the actual machinery of it is difficult to figure, the house does both AC and liquid cooling for the datacenter, how exactly we have put the equipment and it is going to be pretty versatile what they're for after that
it's a very large very powerful machinery that circulates air inside the structure and exchanges water above and below the datacenter, as a whole
the staircase frame if we apply that overall becomes a way to control access on all floors, and that's just great independently of sliding glass wall sections
redundant drains to complete the machines floor, and we positioned a water filtering unit, in white, maybe it's a decanting tank as well, at any rate water should flow in a closed loop between that unit and the water tanks
on the side we should have water pumps
Thank you for having followed
updates: we have an adjustment on the extended side support beam of the terrace, we carved into it to provide lateral perspective
amazingly there is a new space in the shape of a terrace above the waters, complete with a rail and electric outlets, we put a water bed there 160W, it might become a thing, lower than the larger terrace with the staircase in the back which forms a column along the full height of the floor
and yes we almost forgot the side bench of the skateboard lounge becomes a countertop, to have a buffet there, useful to have
as a rule of thumb the entrance of the waters doesn't mix with the exit of the stairs, ie they're on opposite sides, applied overall on all floors

AC Installation on a Budget – Financing Options and What to Expect
Air conditioning installation can be a substantial financial commitment, but it doesn’t have to drain your savings. Whether you're upgrading an outdated system or installing air conditioning for the first time, planning ahead and exploring financing options can make the process far more manageable. By understanding the costs involved and the payment solutions available, homeowners can enjoy indoor comfort without breaking the bank.
Average Cost of Air Conditioning Installation
The cost of air conditioning installation varies based on several factors, including the type of unit, your home’s size, existing infrastructure, and labor rates. On average, homeowners spend between $3,500 and $7,500 for central air installation. Ductless mini-split systems or heat pumps may fall on either side of that range depending on zoning, efficiency, and design.
Typical cost components include:
The AC unit itself (condenser, coil, and air handler)
Labor and installation fees
Electrical upgrades or modifications
Ductwork installation or repair (if needed)
Permits and inspections
Financing Options for Air Conditioning Installation
If you’re concerned about paying upfront, a variety of financing options can make air conditioning installation more affordable:
1. Manufacturer Financing
Many AC brands partner with financing companies to offer promotional deals, such as 0% interest for a set period. This is often the most accessible option when buying from certified dealers.
2. HVAC Contractor Financing
Some contractors offer in-house financing or work with third-party lenders. These plans can include flexible terms, deferred payments, or low-interest rates. Always ask your HVAC provider about available plans during the consultation.
3. Home Improvement Loans
Personal loans or home improvement loans from banks and credit unions can be used to finance HVAC upgrades. While these usually carry higher interest than promotional dealer plans, they offer fixed rates and predictable payments.
4. HELOC or Home Equity Loans
If you have equity in your home, a HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) or home equity loan may provide lower interest rates. These options are ideal for larger-scale installations or energy-efficient system upgrades.
5. Credit Cards (With Caution)
Some homeowners opt to use credit cards for installation expenses, especially those with reward points or introductory 0% APR. However, this is best reserved for smaller projects or short-term payoff periods to avoid high interest charges.
Rebates and Incentives
In addition to financing, energy rebates can reduce the total cost of air conditioning installation:
ENERGY STAR Rebates: Qualifying energy-efficient systems may be eligible for federal or state incentives.
Local Utility Company Rebates: Many utility providers offer cash-back programs or discounts for installing high-efficiency HVAC systems.
Tax Credits: The Inflation Reduction Act and similar programs may include tax breaks for sustainable home improvements.
Check with your contractor and local government agencies to identify all rebate opportunities in your area.
What to Expect During the Installation Process
Budgeting goes beyond financing—knowing what to expect helps prevent unexpected expenses:
Home Assessment: A professional HVAC technician will assess your home’s layout, insulation, and ductwork to determine system size and placement.
Quote and Scope of Work: You should receive a detailed written estimate outlining all labor, equipment, and potential upgrades.
Installation Timeline: Most installations take 1-3 days, but additional ductwork or electrical work may extend the process.
Post-Installation Testing: Technicians will test airflow, refrigerant levels, and system performance to ensure optimal operation.

Effective Crawl Space Drainage Systems: Protect Your Raleigh Home from Moisture Damage
Introduction
A damp, musty crawl space is more than just a nuisance — it’s a threat to your home’s structure and indoor air quality. If you’ve noticed moisture, mold, or a musty odor coming from your crawl space, it’s time to consider a professional crawl space drainage system. At Atlantic Foundation & Repair, we specialize in designing and installing custom drainage solutions that safeguard homes across Raleigh, NC, and surrounding areas.
In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about crawl space drainage systems — what they are, why they're essential, and how they protect your home.
What Is a Crawl Space Drainage System?
A crawl space drainage system is a network of channels and pumps that remove water and moisture from beneath your home. It prevents standing water, reduces humidity, and protects against mold, rot, and structural damage. These systems typically include components like:
Interior drainage channels
Sump pumps
Vapor barriers
French drains
Dehumidifiers
Each system is tailored to fit your home’s specific conditions and foundation type.
Why Crawl Space Drainage Is Important in Raleigh, NC
Raleigh’s climate — with frequent rainfall, high humidity, and clay-heavy soil — makes moisture intrusion a common problem for homeowners. Crawl spaces are particularly vulnerable because they sit close to the ground, where water collects after storms or heavy downpours.
If your crawl space is not properly waterproofed or drained, you could face several issues:
Mold and mildew growth
Wood rot and structural weakening
Pest infestations
Higher energy bills due to poor insulation
Unpleasant odors seeping into living spaces
A professionally installed crawl space drainage system addresses all of these problems at the source.
Signs You Need a Crawl Space Drainage System
Here are a few red flags that indicate your crawl space needs drainage solutions:
Pooled or standing water
Sagging floors above the crawl space
High indoor humidity
Condensation on HVAC ducts or pipes
Musty or moldy odors
Visible mold growth
Efflorescence (white powder) on walls
If you notice any of these signs, it’s crucial to act quickly. Water damage can worsen rapidly and become much more costly over time.
Types of Crawl Space Drainage Systems
At Atlantic Foundation & Repair, we install a variety of drainage systems to meet different moisture challenges. Let’s take a closer look at the most common options:
1. Interior Drainage System
An interior crawl space drainage system involves installing perforated pipes along the perimeter of the crawl space floor. These pipes collect water and direct it to a sump pump, which safely discharges it away from the home.
2. French Drain System
A French drain is a trench filled with gravel and a perforated pipe that diverts water away from the foundation. This is especially helpful for homes located on slopes or in flood-prone areas.
3. Sump Pump Installation
A sump pump is essential in areas with high water tables or chronic flooding. Installed in a sump pit, it automatically removes water from the crawl space and pumps it outside, protecting your home from water buildup.
4. Vapor Barrier System
While not a drainage system per se, vapor barriers play a crucial supporting role. These thick plastic sheets cover the floor and walls of the crawl space, sealing out moisture and helping reduce overall humidity levels.
5. Dehumidifier Installation
In addition to drainage, controlling air moisture is vital. A commercial-grade dehumidifier can maintain optimal humidity levels, preventing mold and mildew growth year-round.
Benefits of Installing a Crawl Space Drainage System
Investing in a professional crawl space drainage system provides long-term benefits, including:
Improved air quality: Up to 50% of the air in your home flows from the crawl space. Cleaner air starts at the ground level.
Increased home value: A dry, mold-free foundation adds to the property’s resale value.
Energy efficiency: Lower humidity reduces HVAC strain, saving you money on energy bills.
Pest control: Dry spaces are less attractive to termites, rodents, and other pests.
Foundation protection: Proper drainage helps maintain the structural integrity of your home.

The Connection Between Humidity and Air Conditioning Performance
Introduction
In the world of a/c systems, understanding the detailed relationship in between humidity and cooling efficiency is essential. Whether you're attempting to remain cool throughout a sweltering summer season or ensuring your indoor environment stays comfy year-round, the subtleties of humidity can considerably affect your a/c system's performance. Have you ever questioned why some days feel hotter than others, even when the temperature level is the same? This phenomenon often comes down to humidity levels, which can impact both comfort and energy consumption.
In this post, we will explore The Connection In between Humidity and Air Conditioning Performance, diving deep into how humidity influences air conditioner operation, the signs of humidity issues, maintenance tips, and much more. Let's get started!
The Connection In between Humidity and A/c Performance
Humidity refers to the amount of moisture in the air. It's measured as a portion; for example, 50% humidity indicates that half of the air's capability for moisture is filled. Understanding this concept is necessary for understanding how it engages with your cooling system.
Why Does Humidity Matter?
Humidity plays a substantial function in how we perceive temperature. High humidity levels can make temperatures feel warmer than they are since our bodies rely on sweat evaporation to cool down. On the other hand, low humidity can make it feel cooler than it in fact is.
How Does Humidity Affect Comfort?
When relative humidity goes beyond 60%, pain frequently embeds in. This situation forces your air conditioner unit to work more difficult to preserve set temperature levels while also handling moisture levels. This leads to increased energy usage and potential wear-and-tear on your system.
What Are Suitable Humidity Levels?
Most specialists recommend keeping indoor humidity between 30% and 50%. Within this range, you'll not only feel more comfy but likewise decrease the risk of mold growth-- an all-too-common issue in high-humidity environments.

The Mechanics of A/c Systems
To truly understand The Connection Between Humidity and Air Conditioning Performance, it's vital to understand how an air conditioning system functions.
Basic Elements of an A/c System Evaporator Coil: This coil soaks up heat from within your home. Condenser Coil: Found outside your home, it launches taken in heat. Refrigerant: A fluid that circulates between these coils, absorbing and launching heat. Compressor: Pumps refrigerant through the system. Expansion Valve: Controls refrigerant flow. How Does air conditioner Get rid of Humidity?
When warm air from within your home passes over the evaporator coils, wetness condenses on these cold coils-- a procedure similar to how dew forms on yard in the morning. The outcome? Drier air enters your home while excess moisture drains away.
Signs Your air conditioner Isn't Handling Humidity Properly
Recognizing that something's off with your HVAC system is crucial for timely repairs. Here AC repair near me in Paige TX are some indicatio
