Over the weekend I had to go to @dbssoundsatl for the @yogotti meet and greet. Great experience! Hadn't been to DBS and chopped it up with Tobago in a minute and I was able to see one of my favorite artist and show him love for the great album he just released. I didn't get a chance to meet Nipsey Hussle when he came to College Park and I hate that so I had to make sure to meet Gotti. They both stood on certain principles I stand on and it was more than music with them 2. And seeing the black owned @dbssoundsatl still in full effect for over TWO DECADES was great to witness. Fun Fact: I used to skip school at North Clayton High just to go to the old DBS sound and listen to music when it was on Riverdale Road in the plaza lol. I'll NEVER forget that. Also seen @nuface in the building who does so much for the culture. The Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue) corridor in College Park, Md., has seen gradual new development over the past five to 10 years, but it has visibly accelerated recently. In addition to the Hotel’s high-end restaurants and coming spa, new apartment high-rises with restaurants and ground-floor stores are dotting the landscape.
