GAMES I REVIEWED IN 2023 ➞ Coffee Talk 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is a fantastic sequel. The art style is simple but amazing, the music is great and the ambient rain is relaxing. Choices do indeed matter in this game, and with a (pretty hard to miss) mistake, you can cut off character arcs completely. Admittedly, there are some annoying bugs, and issues with the social media app. But the game is so grounded and authentic in its characters that each of them has their own wants, desires, and problems. While you can’t solve them with a coffee, you can help steer them in one direction or another. Their issues still feel really natural, even if they’re not human. Coffee Talk 2 is a beautiful game, and I can’t wait to jump back in again to collect all the nick knacks.

Hi everyone! Coffee Talk Ep.2: Hibiscus& Butterfly is out on steam!!

Coffee Talk is a cozy talking sim/visual novel featuring light barista mechanics where you brew warm drinks for weary customers and listen as they…spill the beans… and the continuation, Ep. 2 is here for you to don the apron once again and meet new and old friends alike!

Here are comics I drew for the promotion. This one features the two of the three new characters that will appear in the game, Lucas the Satyr and Riona the Banshee! And of course, Jorji is there to uncover a certain mystery along with them...

There will be two more comics after this, will post accordingly!

Some time ago I played a bit of „Coffee Talk 2” and when Hyde said this line I couldn’t resist! Admit that it fits perfectly <3

Although Hyde is much more likeable than Strahd but that’s the charm (hihi) of all kinds of vampires I guess

By the way, I highly recommend „Coffe Talk” if somebody just want to sit down and relax with cup of tea without the need for a lot of effort <3
