yo could you do some domestic spot fluff???? asking for a friend (lie)
Spotty dog?
Spot x Gen!Reader
“This feels demeaning.” “It’s not! Look he’s cute!”
Tumblr media
hes so adorable h my god. 101 dalmatian coded fr
June 28th — Your lovers birthday, and two days away. You woke this morning with a determination you knew both you and him held. To out-do your your last gift. Last Christmas, you had thought you'd won. Showing up to your shared home with a pair of matching shirts — reading "I ♡ My Boyfriend" and one equally matching for him.
Along with a multitude of other small things — all sentimental to your relationship. Like the mug that said "No.1 Bad Guy." or a card detailing how he would never just be the "Villain of the week."
But when he'd pulled out matching crocs, with Jibbitz of a goofy looking Dalmatian for him and a cute Bunny for you?
You had resigned as Loser for the months to come. Not without a cheering victory from your Spotty lover. Now though? A thought had been brewing for months— one that would never make you loser of the gifts ever again. What could possibly out-do a man willing to wear crocs branded with a staple of you on them? And a goofy looking bucket hat with your silly matching shirts?
A dog.
Something he's wanted for a while now, something to take care of. He'd lost everything, his friends, his family. With that much gone, he'd clung to you like a lost child. Mourning the losses he'd faced while cherishing his moments with you — feeling a constant sense of peril when faced with the fact that he *could just lose you too. He wouldn't, though. You would never do that to him. You loved him too dearly to cause him that pain.
You watched him slip on a blue coat over his "totally regular civilian" clothes. The complaint leaving his mouth going on deaf ears. He slipped on his left shoe, jumping a bit and tripping over himself before steadying himself on a coffee table. "Do we really have to go out today?—" His face-spot downturned, like a sad puppy.
",—Can't we just sit in and cuddle? We could watch Mean Girls and i'll make the hot chocolate you really like!" "Baby." He whined, Spot rolling into a displeased frown. "Where are we even—" "—Ask one more time." He snorted, pulling his last shoe on and tucking in the laces, then going up to you and leaning down to give your forehead a kiss. "Ready?"
He right about swooned at your domestic tone, admiring the way the softened gold lights highlighted your features. You were everything to him, and just the knowledge you loved him back had him tripping over himself. Falling through spots at the sight of you. "Yeah."
Jonn swayed as the bus came to a stop, avidly ignoring the curious glances given by other patrons, and focusing more on holding onto you.
"I'm gonna fall over!" "Maybe if you held the bar, and not me." He looked up at you from his waist bent position, arms wrapped securely around your abdomen, clinging onto you like you were the only person there.
"I don't need another lover baby, you're right here." "It's a pole, John." "And I am a faithful man." You giggled lightly at him and wrapped your free arm around him tighter.
"Just step off." "It's high!" John stuttered out his reply, dipping his foot down like he was testing pool water. 'I'll just—" He turned around, opening a spot and crawling through it and popping up again next to you. The bus driver gawked at you, paler than the villain walking Brighton's street.
You mouthed a 'sorry' to the poor lady, and grabbed your boyfriends hand, dragging him towards the street of your subject.
"You gonna tell me where we're going yet?" He trailed behind you, getting pulled by his left hand, and tripping over his own feet. Moving in that clumsy kind of dorkiness. 'Nuh uh."
His spot slanted at you, deadpanning. "You're being mysterious— I don't like it."
You side-eyed him, grinning in a glare. "I think it's part of the charm." He dragged his spindly legs farther forward, stepping in front of you and gathering your joined hand against his chest. He walked backwards with you, and his spot widened again. You smiled up at him, continuing on with walking, and waited for him to complain once more.
You hadn't have to wait long. "Are you sure you can't—" "We're here." He stopped walking when you did, spot slanting when he surveyed the shops and stalls around him, trying to read the signs. "a café date?—," He chuckled lightly, chest heaving lightly "'—You know you could have—"
"Not there, baby." You flexed your hands into his, he let one of his drop, and linked your fingers with his— squeezing your palm in interest.
You turned towards the animal rescue centre, giving your lover a mischievous grin and stepped beside him to open the door.
The spotted dalmatian looked up at you, glossy and doe eyed.
You cooed at it through the glass, the puppy wagging it's tail at the high pitched voice you were giving him.
"How come you never talk to me like that?" Your boyfriend had his hands on your shoulders, leaning on your crouched form and looking down at the small dog below him.
"Do you want me to?" You watched his reflection through the glass as he contemplated, spot shifting forms until it settled on a stretched thin line. "No." You snorted and continued sweet talking the puppy.
The dog-keeper smiled happily at the interaction between you and the small puppy.
"Would you like to take him outside?"
You turned your head towards her and nodded your head, sounding a pretty please — you put your hands on your knees and pushed up, standing straight again.
You turned to your lover, standing up on your toes, you smoothed your hands over his cheeks and giving his nose a little kiss.
"This feels demeaning." He pouted at you, hands grabbing at your coat.
You giggled lightly, resting the side of your face on his chest.
"It's not!," you gestured to the adorable puppy ",Look he's cute!"
John considered the tiny dog, slacking a bit under you, and conceding. "Yeah, yeah— whatever." You jumped up and gave his jaw a quick peck. "Exactly!"
You ran towards the back door, leading to the puppy playground.
Your lover called out to you— "I better still be your favourite Spot!"
"My number one, baby!" You called back.
He huffed despite his spot melting into a heart.
Two days later, when he woke up to a plethora of silly gifts, topped with adoption papers and a pink bow — He begrudgingly gave away his title.
+ bonus!!!
"You're just the most handsome spotty boy, aren't 'ya!" A squealing voice followed by a small 'ruff' caught your attention. You closed the door softly, and sneakily dropped your keys in the bowl, and snuck into your living room.
The sight of your loving husband cradling the puppy to his chest as he danced to an unheard tune greeted you. You smiled to yourself, biting your finger and watching him for a moment.
He spun slowly, and when his sight landed on you, he froze. He quickly, albeit gently, placed the small thing back onto the couch. The puppy rolling over and smiling up at you.
John cleared his throat, a closed fist to his throat, and after putting his hands on his hips to "act cool", he spoke.
"His name is The Dot."
You giggled behind your hand, going up and kissing his cheek, not before you pet Dot in passing. "Next time we're adopting a kid."
His spot widened and slid into a heart, blush coating his cheeks.
"And you're not naming them."
He laughed.

How to Style Mens Crocs and Slides for a Trendy Look
In the vast realm of men's fashion, one trend that has made an unexpected yet triumphant comeback is the use of crocs NZ and mens slides. These once-dismissed footwear options have now become staples for the modern man looking to blend comfort with style.
Whether you're a fashion enthusiast or someone looking to revamp your wardrobe, this blog post will guide you through the art of styling crocs and mens slides for a look that's not just comfortable but also undeniably trendy.
Embracing the Versatility of Crocs: From Casual to Chic
When we think of crocs, the image of casual, comfortable footwear often comes to mind. However, don't be fooled by their laid-back reputation; crocs NZ can be surprisingly versatile. Pairing them with well-thought-out ensembles can transform your look from mundane to effortlessly chic. Opt for classic colours like black or white to maintain a sleek appearance, or go bold with vibrant hues to make a fashion statement.
Don't shy away from experimenting with different textures and patterns, as crocs can be paired with both casual jeans and even semi-formal trousers for an eclectic touch.
Mens Slides: Elevating Comfort to the Height of Fashion
On the other end of the spectrum, we have mens slides, a timeless footwear option that seamlessly combines comfort and style. Often associated with laid-back summer days or post-workout relaxation, mens slides have evolved into a fashion statement of their own.
The key to mastering the art of styling mens slides lies in choosing the right pair for the occasion. Invest in high-quality leather slides for a more polished look, ideal for casual office settings or weekend brunches.
Meanwhile, sporty slides with bold logos and vibrant colours can add a playful edge to your streetwear ensemble.

Casual Cool: Everyday Styling with Crocs and Slides
For the days when comfort reigns supreme, embrace the casual cool vibe with your favourite pair of crocs or mens slides. Combine them with a pair of well-fitted jeans and a classic tee for an effortlessly laid-back look.
Remember, the key is in the details; accessorize with a stylish watch or a leather bracelet to elevate the overall aesthetic. This approach works wonders for a casual day out, whether you're running errands or grabbing coffee with friends.
The beauty of this style lies in its simplicity—effortless yet undeniably fashionable.
Dress to Impress: Elevating Crocs and Slides for Semi-Formal Settings
Contrary to popular belief, crocs and mens slides can make a stylish statement in semi-formal settings. When paired thoughtfully, they can add a touch of flair to your ensemble without compromising on sophistication.
Choose a pair of sleek, monochrome crocs NZ to complement tailored trousers and a crisp button-down shirt. Similarly, leather slides can seamlessly integrate into a semi-formal wardrobe when paired with chinos or linen pants.
It's all about finding the right balance between comfort and style, proving that you can make a lasting impression without sacrificing ease.
A Splash of Personality: Customising Crocs for a Personal Touch
One of the unique aspects of crocs is their customisable nature. Elevate your style by adding a personal touch to your crocs with quirky Jibbitz charms. These small, interchangeable decorations can transform your footwear into a canvas for self-expression.
Whether you're a sports enthusiast, a movie buff, or a nature lover, there's a Jibbitz charm to reflect your personality. This customisation not only makes your crocs stand out but also adds a playful element to your overall look.
It's a fun and innovative way to embrace the trend while staying true to your individuality.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the resurgence of crocs and mens slides in the fashion scene is a testament to the ever-evolving nature of style. Gone are the days when comfort and fashion were mutually exclusive; now, they go hand in hand.
By understanding the versatility of these footwear options and experimenting with different styles, you can effortlessly integrate crocs NZ and mens slides into your wardrobe, creating comfortable and undeniably trendy looks.
So, step into the world of casual cool and redefine your fashion narrative with the unexpected charm of crocs and mens slides. Your feet will thank you, and your style will speak volumes.

@pyreshe said " way! look, look, look! " she's got a bag of the little charms meant to decorate crocs and proceeds to dump the bag out on the table in front of him, huge grin on her face as she settles into the other chair. " the lady at the store called them jibbitz! aren't they cool? maybe i should get crocs too. "
waylon has to practically fold himself in half over the table in order to get a decent look at what livvy has brought. he picks through the little rubber charms carefully, moving them around with the point of one claw. they’re brightly colored, various shapes. and she’s got at least fifty of them.
“ jibbitz, huh? ” he picks up one shaped like a coffee mug that says world’s best boss, slipping off one of his crocs and painstakingly begins trying to attach the charm. he gives up after a few moments; his fingers too big and clumsy to manage the action. huffing in frustration, he kicks off his other shoe and puts them both on the table within livvy’s reach. “ help me decorate ‘em. we can get you a pair too. ”

Judge Me By My Jibbitz Do You...
Crocs are such a polarizing topic. My sister got me into them, my friend was shocked because I used to hate them. Now, I see them everywhere. Its like when I started driving my Mini Cooper, I noticed something, that all other Mini’s let me in when I was changing lanes. Like from one Mini to another...respect. I also noticed a lot more minis on the road. Same with Jibbitz and Crocs....I notice people wearing them and personalizing them.
I am a kind of judgy person. I found myself being very self conscious about what jibbitz I put on my crocs. Like, is the hocus pocus witch’s pot for the love of the movie or a generally accepted witchy thing? In my head its a bit of both but more of a witchy thing. But how does your perception of me, already being a stranger to start off with, change when you start to associate me with witch craft? But then that road is a two way street.
There was one time I did a showing and a woman came late, but when she did she got way to ready for a showing but then was wearing crocs. My first couple of thoughts were: you took a long time to get ready for a lease showing, you got dressed nicely but then wore crocs, oh your crocs are personalized. What jibbitz were on there? Gym, clothing brands, coffee (I think). Very image conscious life style things. But then she was complaining about money, like acting like the application fee would of been to much for her?
Women may tend to read more into non important things, like jibbitz, than men. But part of my job is to feel people out and try to avoid putting someone who will destroy or screw over the owner of the home I am leasing out. Most people though, have a minor interest in psychology because it is so interesting to people watch and so hard not to judge people. With that in mind, I am going to put my crocs up (fully decorated with jibbitz) and analyze my own outward shoe image.
Tumblr media
So, what does ye see? Video games. Console gamer...as that is for an Xbox. Chocolate, some might say of course she’s a woman. But my BFF doesn’t like chocolate so never assume. Pet Mom, I wonder if most people can tell the difference between a cat and dog paw? It would be for my cats, I have nothing against dogs but I love very few animals really. The cauldron is from Hocus Pocus. Great film, but also a mostly acceptable way to have a witchy charm. Joker, well really I love Joker. Could mean I am bad, or love bad guys, or both? Ketchup packet. I LOVE KETCHUP. I will eat it out of the packet. No shame here. Cookies, I am a cookie monster (family trait). Moons, its funny because its part of an alien pack but they are very spiritual and astrological things.
So, I am a cat mom who loves sweet things and bad guys and games. With some creepy spiritual witchy hobbies. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but really it would be easy to see one of those charms and not like it and therefore not like me. But really, when you look at the amount of people who jibbitz vs no jibbitz...a lot of people put themselves out there via charms. What charms would you add or notice? How deep would you get with your charms? Do you even croc...yet?

Glory Days
Summary: (Modern High School AU) Micky and Davy are entering their Junior year as best friends just like every year. And Davy is planning to act on his feelings for Micky.
Though it seems that with the entrance of the seemingly standoffish Mike, everything changes.
Words: 2,722
Chapter 1: The First Day
Ships: Dolenzmith & Jork
The bitter and disgusting taste of Monday morning was sitting uncomfortably at the back of Davy’s throat as he trotted down his steps. He took a long sip of the tea his father had made for him to wash the unwanted taste down. He jetted his hand out to curl his fingers under the plain black handle of the eyesore of a car.
The exterior of the vehicle had hand painted designs....hand painted. ‘It was terrible and kitschy and...a little endearing’. Davy wiped that trace of a grin away as he took the passengers seat. He reached over to turn the radio on, without realizing what it would pick up from.
The car shook with the intensity of the volume during some strange song. “Good Morning, Good Morning...!” The car screamed. Davy slapped his hands to cover his ears. “Micky!” He scowled.
Micky turned to him with a grin that lit up his whole face and reached over to turn the volume down. As his fingers danced down the dial, he turned back to his shorter friend. “Good Morning.” He greeted in a sing-songy face and Davy wanted to throttle him.
“I hate the first day.” Davy frowned and hit the back of his head against the head rest of Micky’s car. Micky put the car in gear and drove off into the street. “And not just because it’s school but it is also your most annoying day of the year.” He sighed.
Micky chuckled. “I dunno, don’t you think free cookie day gives it a run for it’s money?” He asked, puffing his cheek out in fake thought and Davy groaned, remembering that specific day each year.
Davy spent the rest of the short car ride to school sipping on his tea and staring out the window.
Micky pulled up to his regular space and hopped out of his door, stretching as if he’d  been sitting there for an eternity. Davy took a slower pace, strolling out and shutting the door behind him as Micky came round to stand and wait.
It was then that Davy got a good look at what his friend was wearing. An old tie-dyed shirt from some science camp he’d gone too (He stared momentarily at the disastrous handwriting those kids had signed their names with on the fabric) . And a jean jacket sat nicely on his shoulders, patches here, there and everywhere. It was very Micky alright...just a little more put together than usual. Davy smirked.
“Dressed up for the first day?” He sipped his tea and Micky looked down at himself and shrugged.
“I make an effort sometimes. By the way, I wanna wear my crocs tomorrow can you come with me to buy jibbitz?” He asked as if Davy should just know what those were as he kicked his leg out to emphasize.
“First of all, I hate those shoes please burn them. Second of all, what are Jibbitz, Micky?” Davy seemed to enhance his British accent with his disgust.
Micky did that breathy little sigh he did and Davy bit hard into his lip. “Y’know the charms that you put on them.” He chuckled and Davy rolled his eyes just as they got to Davy’s locker.
Davy wasted no time, opening his locker and almost pouting as he got what he needed. Micky watched him silently, leaning on the locker next to his and pursed his lips.
“I’ll meet you behind the bleachers during your gym class...eighth period right?” Micky lolled his head to the side as Davy smiled. It had become somewhat of a tradition for Micky to help him skip his gym class as Davy claimed dodge-ball every day was not a good enough exercise to participate in.
“Yeah. Don’t be late or-”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah or you’re gonna get hit by another dodge-ball, I get it.” Micky started to twirl away, waving his hand to dismiss an annoyed Davy.
“I didn’t get hit, Micky! I almost got hit!” He shouted after him but Micky was already down the hall, so he gave up and went off to his class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Micky held his books clumsily at his side as he happily strolled to what was going to be his favorite class of the day, Science. Specifically, chemistry. He pushed the door open and the teacher sitting at the head desk grinned so he smiled back before sitting at the desk of his choosing.
The room was for the most part pretty empty. So Micky just pulled out his notebook and started doodling. But soon enough, his classmates filed in close to the ring of the bell. So he set aside his things and prepared to take notes, sliding his glasses on so he could actually see.
As he did so, a guy passed by his desk going straight for the row of desks in the ‘low maintenance area’ which was basically just the middle row that teachers tended to pick on less.
Micky momentarily searched his brain to try and remember if he’d ever seen him before. In a class or in the hall but he couldn’t place him so he shrugged to himself and turned forward again. The teacher was going on about some of the regular ‘back to school’ stuff.
But a couple minutes into the lecture, a phone went off. And for some reason, Micky just knew whose it was. He turned his head just like his classmates to the guy.
He raised his lower lip in a ‘I got it’ kind of half grin and silenced the thing, making a point to show he was putting it away. The teacher let it slide, returning back to his lecture. But Micky seemed to be the only one to notice that the guy just pulled it back out again. He furrowed his brows once more before again, going back to focusing.
At the end of the class, Micky hopped up and went about finding his next class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And when the bell rang at the end of his last class of the day, Micky happily glided out and started on his way to the outside of the school and towards the lawn where Davy’s gym class would be. He briefly paused to enjoy the clear air and sunshine before bounding to the football field where Mr. Wilson was standing, whistle around his neck.
Micky threw a smile at Davy before throwing himself into acting. “Mr. Wilson!”
The teacher jumped into the air comically as the class laughed. He turned to Micky with an annoyed face. But Micky only smiled, tilting his head to the side. “Mrs. Kennedy had a terrible accident in the art room. Oh you should have seen it, Carl knocked over the tubs of paint.....ooohhh, it was a mess of abstract art all over the floor-” Micky waved his arms around.
“And what does this have to do with me, Mr. Dolenz?” He asked, not too amused and Micky closed his mouth as if he was politely stopping his little rant short.
“Well, She asked for people to help clean and Davy’s still has to get some work hours in from when the principal punished him for-”
“Ok ok, Davy get outta here.” Mr. Wilson gave in and Micky proudly smiled at his ability to annoy people with his babbling.
Davy gladly took off after Micky and they settled themselves hidden behind the bleachers. They sat against the fence behind them with grins.
“So, how was your first day?” Micky turned his head to Davy who was picking at the hole in his jeans.
“As underwhelming as ever, you?” Davy returned the question and Micky recalled his day.
“Not too bad for the first day-” Micky cut himself short when they both turned to look down to the other set of bleachers next to them. They heard some rustling and sure enough, there was some blonde guy rolling a slip of paper as someone came round the corner.
Micky recognized him instantly as that guy from his chemistry class.
“They’re gonna get themselves caught doing that ‘ere.” Davy rolled his eyes and Micky didn’t say anything.
“Think they‘ll share?” He turned to Davy with the hint of a teasing grin and Davy rolled his eyes with a scoff. Micky just started to laugh, sitting on a rock nearby.
The two of them talked back and forth for a while longer, every once in a while they’d look over to see if those guys were still there. But soon enough, Davy’s class was going to head inside soon so Davy figured he’d better join back in the last five minutes.
“I’ll see you after school!” Davy ran off towards the field once again, leaving Micky alone. He let himself look back to those guys. The guy from his class took a long drag and blew the smoke to the side.
Micky quickly sidetracked himself though and got up to run back to the school to meet Davy when the bell rang.
As he got to the front of the school, he was careful to hop over the crack in the sidewalk just before the curb. And because he was impatient, Micky decided he didn’t feel like waiting outside and rushed inside to get to Davy’s locker.
But of course Micky just ran right into Davy on his friends way outside and they both were knocked to the floor because Micky was almost never walking slow.
Davy felt the wind getting knocked out of him and looked up at Micky’s look of amusement. He felt the back of his head on the cool tile and Micky’s head was blocking out the fluorescent light above them. Davy felt a little bit of heat in his cheeks before Micky instantly shot up, pulling Davy with him.
“Sorry.” He chuckled, already moving to start walking back outside. Davy was uncharacteristically, not immediately complaining about it. Which made Micky raise his brow.
“S’fine. But that’s what happens when you tear through the halls like an animal, Micky.” Davy scoffed.
‘There it was’ Micky thought to himself as they walked side by side out of the school like they did almost every day.
As they left the building, Micky noticed just how many rain clouds had popped up since he was last out. He took a deep breath and hurried to his car with Davy following after.
As they settled inside, Micky getting ready to pull out of the lot, Davy spoke up. “Are we going to that coffee place you like?”
Micky hummed and threw him a little grin as he looked behind him. “Maybe.” He waggled his brows and Davy rolled his eyes. Micky turned out of the lot and began his routine way of getting there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Do you think the-the um....?” Micky clicked his finger a few times as he sat across Davy who was clueless as to what Micky was trying to get at. “What are they called here?” Micky pointed to the people at the counter.
“Don’t point at them, Micky.” Davy made an offended face and slapped his friends hand down. “And the word you’re looking for is, Barista.”
Micky raised his brow. “Really? Even the guys are called baristas?” Davy nodded and sipped his drink, looking at Micky like he was stupid. “I like it.” Micky hummed and took a large sip of his own.
“And what you were trying to ask was...?”
“Oh, yeah!” Micky laughed and Davy bit into his lower cheek to fight a grin. “Do you think that barista guy was flirting with me?” Micky wiggled his brows. Davy looked back to who had served them and back at Micky with a teasing grin.
“The question is, did you flirt back? Cause if you did, it’d be pretty embarrassing since he was not.” Davy spoke in a bitchy tone and sipped on his straw like he was innocent.
Micky scoffed with a small laugh. “I did. And it was appropriate since he was flirting with me.”
“Let’s say he was. You probably scared him away cause you’re terrible at flirting.” Davy continued and tried to stop his laughter when Micky made a large gasping sound.
“I am not. I got you, didn’t I?” Micky pursed his lips and Davy paused for a moment.
“I only hang around you cause I feel bad for you.” Davy did a little shoulder shrug and looked away. Micky shook his head and laughed before reaching over to playfully punch Davy, who finally let out his laugh.
“Besides, It’s me who’s the catch here.” Davy chuckled and Micky sipped on his drink with a playful roll of his eyes.
The two of them continued on that way for another twenty minutes, most likely annoying the other customers before Micky decided it was time to go. He bit his straw and made sure his last sip of coffee was going to last him longer than it should. Davy tossed his empty cup in the bin as they went out.
Micky tilted his head up towards the sun like an idiot and squinted. However instead of going in his car like a normal person, Micky leaned against the back. Davy paused from where he was strolling to join him. “What are we doing?”
Micky shrugged. “Can you believe we’re Juniors already?” He asked after a short pause.
“Already? I feel like s’been draggin’ on for way too long. We’re not even Seniors yet.” Davy frowned, he was indeed ready to get out of high school. Though looking at Micky, he’d say he felt the opposite.
“I dunno man, things are gonna change real soon.” Micky frowned and took the smallest sip of his drink, now more like a thin puddle at the bottom of his cup. For a moment or two, Davy froze.
“Well, at least we’ll have each other.” Davy bumped his arm and Micky happily grinned, warming up Davy’s chest.
“Right...or more like, you’re too annoying for me to get rid of no matter how hard I try.” Micky joked again and Davy smacked his arm.
“You must not try hard enough. I think you like me more than you let on.” Davy pursed his lips and Micky laughed.
“Maybe a little too much.” Micky winked and spoke in a completely sarcastic exaggerated voice, letting Davy know he wasn’t serious. But his stomach flipped all the same. “Alright, let’s take you home.” Micky suddenly twirled around to walk over to the drivers side.
Davy strolled over to the passengers side and slid in while Micky got ready to leave.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Micky pulled up to the curb in front of Davy’s house and shifted into park before turning to Davy. “Alright, get outta my car.” He pointed and smiled. Davy unbuckled but remained seated.
“Don’t be late picking me up tomorrow.” He reminded his friend, who he knew would instantly get into that habit.
“I won’t, I swear.” Micky flashed him a grin and Davy rolled his eyes for what felt like the millionth time. Davy turned to open the door before Micky spoke again. “Oh! I almost forgot, My friend Samantha invited us to a party on Friday...?”
Micky trailed off, looking rather excited but Davy frowned. “Why don’t you like her again?” Micky chuckled, setting his phone in his upholders.
“S’not that I don’t like her it’s just-”
“That you don’t like her.” Micky finished for him and offered a smirk when Davy rolled his eyes.
Honestly, Micky wasn’t wrong. Davy didn’t like Samantha. But the girl was always being playfully flirty with Micky even though the whole school knew he was gay. It was just common knowledge. Micky never had to come out.
‘But this girl was always on him like bees to honey.....maybe he was exaggerating. But he still didn’t want to go.’
“So I’m guessing, your answer is no?” Micky asked and Davy shrugged. He was aware that if he said no, Micky wouldn’t go either. Micky was a very outgoing guy but he didn’t like to go to parties alone.
“Ughhhh.” Davy threw his head back and Micky just mocked him right back.
“Ughhhh.” He chuckled a bit at the end. “Fine, we’ll do something else on Friday.”
Davy tried to conceal his large grin at that statement. “See you tomorrow, Micky.” Davy basically jumped from the car after that and strolled to his home.
“Bye, Davy!”

It's all about Barbie - Chapter 2 (Trixya) - Djoodi
A/N: Hey guys, I’m back with the second chapter! Thanks for all the positive comments! I’m so happy you guys like it :) If you didn’t read chapter one, here it is: http://artificialqueens.tumblr.com/post/156474539024/its-all-about-barbie-chapter-1-trixya-djoodi
Hope you guys enjoy it! Thanks for reading, and sorry if I made any mistakes :)
Trixie arrived work with a cup of coffee on her hands and her pink heart-shaped sunglasses on. Trixie had so much pink in her life that sometimes her friends - and ever herself - asked themselves if she wasn’t related to Kitten Kay Sera, that woman from TLC’s ’My Crazy Obsession’ who lived life with everything pink.
She saw that Violet was already there and smiled at her, before quickly going to the employees lockers to let her stuff there. Her face was beautifully painted with the classic ‘Trixie Face’ which was consisted basically in very geometric winged eyeliner that complimented her sky-blue eyes, harsh contour and pink lipstick  covering her huge lips. She really looked like a real life Barbie Doll.
Violet looked like Burlesque dancers from the 50’s. She could rock anything with that attitude and her tiny little waist, even the simple MAC uniform which was a black shirt and leggings. Trixie, on the other hand, said herself that the uniform didn’t match her 'Barbie Doll Fantasy’ aesthetic, although it really accentuated her curves very well.
“Tell me how it was!” the blonde girl asked, as soon as she arrived on the counter.
“Oh, it was quite nice.” Violet smiled “Jamie said that she knew it already. Like, not 100% sure, but she had always suspected. She said she was happy that I told her the truth and asked me if Pearl was my girlfriend or not.”
Violet took care of her sister since she was eighteen. She was going to college in Boston and her parents thought it was a great idea for her to take her nine year-old sister with her to study there, since they were both too busy working and didn’t care to raise their daughters. At first, Violet thought it was a crazy and selfish idea, but  then she realized that it would be much more traumatic for her sister to live with her problematic rich parents in Atlanta, so she basically was the one who raised Jamie.
“And what did you answer?” Trixie smirked, watching the purple haired girl roll her eyes.
“That we are not, bitch.” Violet got her hair in a ponytail.
“Why?!” the blonde gasped.
“Because we are not. At least not yet.” she winked “Anyways, you’re coming to Pearl’s party on Friday, yeah? I’ll kick your butt if you don’t."
When Trixie met Pearl on Tinder, they automatically clicked. They knew from the moment they started talking to each other live that it wouldn’t work out as a relationship, neither as just sex. So, as they started becoming friends, Trixie ended up introducing Pearl to her other friends, including Violet. Since that, the two girls started this 'casual sex’ kind of relationship, although everyone thought they should definitely date.
"Of course I’m going, bitch. She’s one of my best friends.” the blonde answered “I just don’t know what I’m going to do with Barbie.”
“Why don’t you let her with Kyle?” the other girl asked, putting some cotton swabs for the costumers to wipe something if they needed too.
“Because Kyle is a dick.” Trixie arranged one of the lipsticks “Yesterday when I saw those five missing calls from him he said that ’I wasn’t doing what we agreed with’ and that ’He wasn’t prepared to stay twenty minutes more with Barbie’, well, fuck him! And you know what else? He left Barbie in the park before I arrived! Alone!”
“Wait, what? He can’t do that, no way. She’s a child, Trixie!” Violet replied “Why did he do it?!”
“He said that he had something to do, I don’t fucking go into details when speaking with Kyle, plus he hung up.” the girl gesticulated while explaining “Thankfully a friend of her from school, Melanie, was there.”
“And her hot babysitter was there too.” Trixje though about adding, but decided it was still early to say anything about the Katya situation to anyone who wasn’t Kim.
Trixie was surprised earlier by the friendship request on Facebook she had got from Katya. She didn’t know how the girl found her, although she was fully aware that she had, in fact, told the Russian her full name. At least that meant something… Right? She didn’t knew.
“What are you going to give Pearl?” the blonde asked “I think I’m giving her a vinyl.”
“That’s cool. I’m thinking of something more…” Violet was interrupted by Trixie.
“Girlfriendish?” she raised an eyebrow.
“Oh, fuck off, Tracy.” she answered, and Trixie cackled “Let’s fucking work, the store is opening in two minutes.”
So they spent the rest of their shifts doing little jokes when there was no one to paint, and also telling the clients about what products were they using on their faces, and helping them to find the right shade of concealer. Trixie liked her job.
***
Katya looked at her watch, waiting for the other woman. When she went to pick up Melanie at school, she had not seen Barbie, which made her assume that the little girl was already in the park with her mother. But, when she arrived, there was no sign of Trixie or Barbara.
“She is probably on the traffic or something. Her dad picks her up in a car.” Melanie explained, as Katya did two buns in the ginger’s hair “Are you making me look like Pucca again?”
“Why, do you prefer Princess Leia?” the Russian asked.
“No, that’s fine.” the young girl giggled “Look, they are coming!” she pointed at the two blondes holding hands, walking in their direction.
“Fuck!…” Katya almost messed up all the work she had done in Mel’s hair, but fixed it.
“My mom told you not to swear in front of me, Kathy.” Melanie teased, because she knew it was the nickname her mother called her friend. She was a younger Ginger, for sure.
“Tell her that she was the one who basically taught me how to swear, Ginger 2.0.” she said, finishing before Trixie and Barbie arrived “Well, hello there.”
“Hey, Barbie’s mom.” Melanie smiled, and grabbed her friend’s hand “C'mon, let’s play!"
"Be careful, honey!” Trixie yelled before the girls started playing “Oh gosh… I mean, hi! How are you doing?”
“Good! I saw you added me back on Facebook. I saw your little tutorials, you are really talented!” Katya said, moving so Trixie could sit next to her “I mean, not that I spent time stalking you. Not at all. That would be creepy.”
“Relax, I wouldn’t mind if you did. I know I’m amazing.” Trixie theatrically flicked her hair over her shoulder, making Katya laugh “I kind of saw your page too, and noticed that you do have problems with patterns."
"It’s called high-fashion, darling, you wouldn’t understand.” the Russian faked a Valley Girl accent, making Trixie wheeze “But I’m dressed kind of basic today, huh. We are both kind of looking the same to be honest. Like, black legging and a shirt. Although your shirt is all black.”
“Yeah, I’m still in my uniform. I work at the MAC counter at Macy’s.” Trixie made a bun out of her her big blonde hair “What the hell is written on this shirt you are wearing? I can’t read it, the font size is too small."
"Oh, it’s just the entire "Bee Movie” script, you know.“ the Russian tried to say it seriously, but she couldn’t help but laugh at Trixie’s surprised face "You didn’t like it?”
“The question is: why?” the younger woman giggled, making Katya laugh even more, but then she just gasped “Oh. My. God.”
“What’s wrong?” the older asked, actually worried.
“Please don’t tell me those are crocs that you are wearing.” Trixie pointed at the baby blue shoe that the Russian was wearing.
“What? They are super comfy! And I even put those little charms on them, the woman in the store said that they were called Jibbitz, I guess.” the woman picked one of them up “This one has this 'unicorn cat’ or some shit like that from ’The Lego Movie’, Spiderman, and the lesbian ’My Little Pony’. And the other one” she picked the crocs up “has this cool butterfly, the hand Mickey Mouse uses to jerk off, and this pink tiger. I don’t know who the fuck is he, but he looks like he’s having a great time."
"First of all: the lesbian ’My Little Pony’ has a name, and it is Rainbow Dash.” the woman explained “And second of all: crocs are fucking ugly. They are, like, the most ugly shoe ever. The other shoes are ashamed of crocs."
"Fuck off, toe shoes are way uglier than crocs. Plus, I’m sure your opinion would change if you saw me in nothing but them.” she smirked, lifting on leg up and saw the other blush “Too soon? Sorry.”
“You are gross.” Trixie joked, faking a grossed face, and the Russian cackled.
“I’m just wearing them because I went to yoga today, though. That’s why I’m wearing these clothes. You saw on Facebook how I prefer to dress up, so this is just for especial occasions, I must say. I also don’t really like wearing my hair in a ponytail, I feel like a fucking cheerleader or something.”
“So you like yoga?"
"Totally! I used to be a gymnastic back in Russia, but there was this crazy twist of fate and now I’m just here looking for a job as a yoga teacher. I’m flexible as hell.” Katya answered, and her phone ringed “Ops, just the second, it’s Ginger.”
“That’s fine.” Trixie smiled.
“Hey, Ging. Yeah, it was fun!” she gesticulated a lot more while talking on the phone “I’m at the park right now. Shut up, cunt. Yay, finally a day that I won’t have to take fucking Melanie off the couch! Do you want to talk to her? Fine, gimme a second. Melanie!” Katya screamed to the girl who was upside down on a play structure.
“Yes?” she asked.
“Come here, Ginger wants to talk to you!” the girl immediately ran towards Katya and stole her phone “Alright then.”
“Is she working?” Trixie asked, and the other nodded.
“Yep. She works a lot, so this kid always ends up sleeping on the couch waiting for her. But she will come home earlier today, which is really cool."
"That’s sweet.” the younger blonde smiled, tenderly.
“Hey, uh, I wanted to ask you something, you know."
"Yes?"
"Do you want, like, to go out or something? We could lunch or, I don’t know.” Katya asked, and Trixie gave her a big smile.
“This would be amazing!” she answered “We can go out tomorrow, if you want to. My lunch break is at 12:30 until 1:00pm. We could eat something at the Mall, what do you think?”
“Great! Do you have any preferences?”
“I’m simple. I just don’t eat meat, and that’s all. The MAC counter is at Macy’s second floor, one of the firsts counters.” Trixie said, picking up her phone that was inside her purse “Here, add your number.”
The Russian woman typed fast, and they saw little Barbie coming towards them. As Melanie ended the call with Ginger, she gave Katya’s phone back.
“Let’s go, mom said she will be home at any minute!” the girl grabbed Katya’s hand and pulled her from the chair “Goodbye, Barbie, see you tomorrow!”
“Bye!” the blonde girl waved.
“I’ll text you later!” Trixie laughed at the Russian being pulled by the six-year-old.
She looked at her phone and saw the name ’Melanie’s hot babysitter Katya Zamo’ and shook her head while giggling.
“What’s up?” Barbie asked, holding her mom’s hand.
“Nothing, sweetie. Hey, tell me about your day!” she smiled, walking towards the place she had parked her car. It was basically at the other side of the park, so they had a long ride.
“Oh, it was just normal, you know.” the young girl walked around a water puddle.
“Well, what do you mean by ’normal’?” Trixie asked.
“I mean, we drew a lot. And played some games, too.” the girl seemed distracted by the ducks she saw in the lake “I ate my lunch and we drew some more after that, and the teacher told us a story. And then dad picked me up. How was your day?”
“Normal too. Sold a lot of MAC’s new highlighter and some liquid lipsticks too. And did a lot of girl’s makeup.” Trixie answered, and thought it was a good opportunity to bring something up “Violet said she told her younger sister she likes girls. What do you think about that?”
“Why wouldn’t she like girls?” Barbie asked, like it was the most obvious thing in the universe “They are half of the population of the world, I think. And they are  really nice! I like girls too."
"No, honey.” she laughed at the innocence of her daughter “She loves girls. Like… Like Barbie loves Ken, do you get it?”
“Just like you! Now I got it. I think is fine. If girls love her back, it is even better.” Barbie answered.
“Oh. Yeah, just like me.” Trixie was kind of shocked “Get inside the car, sweetheart."
”Yup, she’s definitely aware.“ she thought to herself.
***
Katya and Melanie were watching Steven Universe on the living room when they hear keys opening the front door. The young girl ran so fast that she almost took Katya down. When Ginger opened the door, Melanie almost killed the woman by jumping on her.
"Holy Jesus, Melanie, you’re going to kill me any day.” Ginger snorted, putting the girl down “You know that I’m a overweigh asthmatic woman and you keep trying to jump on me.”
“Maybe someday you will pick me up.” Mel laughed, and Katya cackled.
“And you, Kathy, how are you?” the woman said, sitting on the couch and taking her shoes off.
“She likes Barbie’s mom.” Mel smirked, and Katya pulled a hand to her own forehead “They are going to get married on the park."
"Wait what?” she locked eyes with the young girl “Where the hell did that come from, Melanie?"
"Okay, they are not getting married.” she admitted “But they are going out."
"Honey, go take a shower while I talk to Kathy over here.” Ginger sniffed “You’re smelling like grass and wet dogs."
"I think I’m the one to be blamed for the wet dogs scent, but Melanie is definitely the one who is smelling like grass.” Katya whispered as the little girl went to the bathroom.
“So tell me more about this Trixie stuff, bitch.” Ginger asked.
“Well, we saw each other on the park today again. She indirectly told me that she had stalked me on Facebook, which is fine because I’ve stalked her too.”
“How did she told you that?”
“She said my clothes looked normal today because she saw what I usually wear.” Ginger wheezed at the answer.
“And she wasn’t wrong!”
“Oh, shut up. Let me finish.” Katya rolled her eyes “Then we had this discussion about crocs, you called, we decided to go out tomorrow and I gave her my number.”
“And she didn’t give you hers?” Ginger asked.
“No, because Melanie was using my phone.” the Russian answered “She said she would text later. I’ll take a shower now because I really am smelling like wet dogs. But the wet dog was so cute, I couldn’t help but hug him.”
Katya had a quick shower. She was used to take so long there, but her anxiety kept telling her that Trixie could text anytime soon, so she forced herself to be quick. She made dinner for the three of them - and, by dinner, she meant macaroni and cheese - and not one sign of Trixie.
“Calm down, Romeo.” Mel said before taking a sip of her juice “She’s probably just doing normal things that Barbie Dolls do, you know."
"Your daughter is the snappiest six-year-old in the world, Ging, you do know that?” Katya looked at her friend, who laughed “Plus, what makes you say that I’m Romeo?"
"Because you are waiting for Juliet, Kathy.” the young girl rolled her eyes.
In the middle of dinner, Katya’s phone buzzed, and she almost broke the table with excitement.
“Holy mother of Jesus, can you please don’t go breaking my house?” Ginger asked.
“I couldn’t if I try.” Katya sang, and immediately opened the messages on her phone, and read it out loud.
Unknown
Hey, It’s Trixie here! Sorry I didn’t text earlier, I was showering :)
“What should I answer?” Katya asked.
“That you were almost going crazy because she wasn’t answering you?” the young girl suggested.
“No way, she’ll think that I’m a psychopath or something.” the Russian said, still thinking “Okay, I got it.”
Katya
That’s fine :D How are you?
“What a filthy liar!” Melanie screamed.
“Oh, shut up, Ginger 2.0, let me live my life.”
***
“I can’t believe I let you paint my daughter, Naomi.” Trixie said, looking at the girl finishing Barbie’s eyebrows.
“She’s going to look even more like a Barbie when I finish.” Naomi smiled.
Whenever they weren’t at Trixie apartment downstairs, they would go to Kim and Naomi’s place. Naomi used to be one of the popular kids in school, although she was still really close to both Kim and Trixie, who weren’t popular at all. She would often work as a model for different companies.
She was really tall, skinny, and had this straight beautiful dark hair who went all the way down to her lower back. She was definitely one of the nicest people that Trixie had ever met, ever.
“So, Barbie, is there any attractive interesting boy at your school?” the brunette asked.
“The boys at my school aren’t really interesting type. The most interesting thing I’ve seen one of them do is eat a worm. And it wasn’t really attractive.” Barbie answered, trying not to move.
“I love your kid, Tracy.” Naomi giggled.
“She learned everything from me, of course.” Kim told them, and saw that Trixie wouldn’t look up from her phone “Tracy, you are so quiet today. Please continue quiet, your voice is annoying.”
“Fuck off.” the blonde didn’t even look away from the phone.
“Who are you texting so much, huh?” Naomi asked “Did you get back on Tinder?”
“Ew.” the blonde rolled her eyes “I’m never going back on Tinder. Pearl was the last one.”
“She’s texting my friend Melanie’s babysitter, Katya.” Barbie revealed.
“How do you know that?” Trixie asked, finally turning the phone off.
“You said it on the park that you would text her later. It’s tickling” the kid giggled as Naomi’s brush touched her face.
“Who’s Katya? That cowgirl you’ve met yesterday?” Kim ate some chips from the bag that she was holding.
“Now close your eyes, Barbie, I’ll glue some falsies on you.” Naomi shook the fake lash for the glue to dry a little bit.
“I’m not sure if she is a cowgirl.” the girl with closed eyes answered.
“Yes, is her. And she’s not a cowgirl.” Kim took the phone off Trixie’s hand “Hey!”
“Why is her name ’Melanie’s hot babysitter Katya Zamo’?” Kim asked, and the brunette girl laughed out loud, along with Barbie.
“She choose it, not me. Now give me my phone back.” she told them, and the pink-haired girl gave her the object “Thank you. Now, before you guys say that I never tell anything to you, Katya and I are going to lunch together at the mall tomorrow.”
“Wait are you serious? Why didn’t you tell me this girl?” Naomi asked “Don’t move your lips, sweetie, or I’ll mess up."
"Well, we’ve met yesterday and she asked me out today.” Trixie gesticulated “I said yes, and that’s basically it. It’s not like we are dating or something."
"She wants to, though.” Kim murmured, and Trixie mouthed a 'shut up’.
“Okay, I’m completely done!” the brunette said, and Barbie stood up showing a complete painted face “What do you guys think, huh?”
“Well, she’s definitely looking like 70’s Kylie Jenner.” Kim joked, making Trixie wheeze.
“Shut up, she’s looking amazing.” Naomi snorted.
“She is.” Trixie smiled “You did a great job.”
“Yeah, you kind of did. Props to you, miss Nicole Paige Brooks.” the asian girl said.
“Fuck off, Kim, you know that I think about this until today!” the brunette screamed.
Nicole was a math teacher back in high school who liked to dress up as a teenager but didn’t look really good while doing it. Once, the woman made Naomi stay after the class just so she could tell where did she got her outfits from. A couple of days later, the girls realized that Nicole was using the exact same outfit as the young brunette. Naomi was so ashamed of it that she actually made her mom bring her some other clothes. And, since then, Trixie and Kim kept calling her Nicole Paige Brooks.
The brunette took some pictures of the young girl, and Trixie did the same. The three friends ate some vegetarian food that they ordered and Kim even made some chicken nuggets for Barbie and herself. They watched “Mean Girls” for the thousandth time, while Trixie and Kim shared some ice cream. When she saw that Barbie was almost falling asleep, she decided it was time to go.
“Thanks for painting me, Naomi.” Barbie smiled “You are really pretty and really good at makeup.”
“Awn, thank you so much!” Naomi bent so she was at the girl’s size “I can paint you whenever you want.”
“I think she might need glasses, Trix, she said Naomi is pretty.” Kim laughed, and Naomi gave her the middle finger.
“See you guys tomorrow, then. Goodnight!” Trixie answered before entering the elevator.
When they arrived home, Trixie changed into her pj’s. She was without any makeup since she had showered before going to Kim’s place. Barbie also changed to her pj’s, but she was still had makeup on, so Trixie just took the little girl to her room and helped her take it off with some makeup wipes.
“How do you do this everyday?” the kid asked, and Trixie just giggled “Not just taking it off, but actually putting it on?”
“You just get used to, you know.” she shrugged “Just like drawing. But on your face.”
“Well, I can draw pretty well. I don’t know about makeup, though.” she tuned her nose up “So, you are you really going out with Katya tomorrow?”
“Yeah, is that a problem to you?” Trixie answered, afraid of Barbie’s reaction.
“No, she’s really nice.” Barbie smiled “Melanie told me she is Russian. And that she used to have a raccoon pet. Oh, and that she loves Indiana Jones. Melanie talks quite a lot about her, but she’s interesting."
Trixie took a a deep breath, relieved. "She really seems to be a very interesting person. Are you sleeping with me tonight?”
“Can I?” the girl’s eyes shined.
“Yes, sweetie.” Trixie kissed the top of Barbie’s head before standing up to turn the lights off. She then went under the covers and closed her eyes “Goodnight, Barbie, I love you.”
“Wait, can you sing for me?” the girl held her mom’s hand in the dark “Please?”
“Barbie, I’m tired.” Trixie cried.
“Just one tiny song, please. I know how much you like to sing.”
“Okay, fine. I’ll sing a bit of Landslide just because it’s my favorite.
Oh mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
Well, I’ve been afraid of changing
'Cause I’ve built my life around you
But time made you bolder
Even children get older
And I’m getting older too
Oh, I’m getting older too”
