2022-23 NFHS R.I. Coach of the Year and Official of the Year honorees recognized at Super Bowl Halftime

Each year since 1982, the National Federation of State High School Associations has been recognizing coaches and officials around the country for their outstanding service and unselfish devotion to interscholastic athletics.  

Individuals selected to receive the Coach of the Year honor are chosen based upon the positive work they have done with the athletes in their program on and off the field.

Nominees for the Official of the Year award must exemplify the highest standards of ethical conduct, moral character and carry the endorsement of their respective state high school association.  They also shall have made a recent significant contribution to high school officiating in their state.   

   The Rhode Island Interscholastic League congratulates the following individuals, who have been named NFHS Rhode Island Coach of the Year and NFHS Rhode Island Official of the Year in their respective sports for the 2022-23 school year:

I love that scene in tkm where Wymack tells Neil he's going to make him vice captain the next year and Neil tries to politely decline (on the grounds that he'll be dead by then) and Wymack is literally like too bad bitch. This isn't a democracy and i say you're the next captain so figure it out
