It was just like Kieran said. It would be the best, most moralistic thing she's ever bought— this seedy old college bar, the black stools with profanity carved into the leather, a back wall of alcohol that was cheap and then even cheaper.

There was more meaning in this little bar than there was than all the stupid conglomerates that influenced the U.S. stock market.

A pang of longing strikes her heart, the heady combination of nostalgia and longing for the future. It was just a joke, obviously— Kieran clearly didn't want to pull together a couple million and change for this leaky old bar — but the idea of doing a project together, just them two, no outside involvement of their family, just them and the bar they loved ... Selene wanted it so bad. The thought of something permanent tying her to Kieran was so fucking alluring.

For a moment she just stares at the table and smiles with a quiet bit of longing. And then her head snaps up— her brows knit together, puckered with just the smallest bit of hope. It was the beach all over again.

It was something that they both, apparently, really really cared about.

"—Okay. Wait. Kieran."

A beat.

"Would you go in half on this bar? As in — actually buy it with me?"

She swallows, straightens in her seat, Prussian blue nails tapping against the slick plastic of the menu almost anxiously. A road trip was one thing, but a bar? That was ten other levels of commitment. Not to mention the financial investment necessary. It sounded too good to be true, and for a moment, Selene is worried she's just projecting again. Even their conversation on the beach felt like a precious gem of a moment, and now she's afraid that she's hoping for too much. Being greedy for someone who no longer belongs to her.

But she wants him back so badly— more than any fucking merger, more than any fucking C.E.O position. She simply wants Kieran Kennedy.

She has to try.

"Because I will— like, no bullshit. " A beat. A slow smile, like the sun peeking out through the clouds. "I don't know how much you're kidding but I'll be your fucking bar partner."

Running through all of these hypotheticals felt like the easiest thing in the world. There was no thought behind any of it. During a few rare instances, Kieran wondered what he and Selene would’ve been like if they’d never lost touch. Would they still be as close as they were in college? Would they have drifted apart as time went on? Isn’t that what had happened anyway? Would he have eventually told her how he felt? Kieran remembered promising himself that he’d tell her everything one day, but … he never did.

But this trip — this detour in their evening — gave him a strange sense of hope. It felt so unbelievably easy to pretend that his family didn’t exist when she was sitting across from him, offering to help demolish anyone who might take their booth.

“Maybe we should just buy it,” Kieran suggested. “We could do a 50/50 split. And the only rules are that nothing ever changes, and this booth is off limits.”

Kieran wasn’t even entirely joking, either. Hadn’t they always talked about being business partners in the past?

Somewhere in the distant part of Kieran’s mind, he wondered if he’d finally lost his mind. Was this a mental breakdown of sorts? He’d run away with his brother’s fiancé. He was caring less and less about work. He was flirting with his brother’s fiancé.

“It might be the only kind of investment that won’t make me feel like a scumbag the next day.”

Kieran leaned back in his seat.

"I've got all of these investment properties and companies that I own shares in, and I can't even fucking name them all," he admitted. "This? I would actually care about this."

I don’t even care to get too deep into it but family legitimately neglected and abused the fuck out of me. So you can assume I’m the corny little dude putting holes in the drywall but this isn’t that. It’s crazy to me to think like so many people who are supposed to be there for me, who tell me they love me and shit, but it’s just like for show because they know they’re supposed to. Meanwhile when I actually need literally anything I’m beat and actually I’m a lazy dickhead for not robbing people already. Like on my soul my whole family is sociopaths. Flabbergasted at the comments and questions I’ve gotten after posting my doodles over the past coupla months. I feel a special kind of silly when I see your guys’s responses 🫠.

I will do my best to explain the premise. Feel free to ask questions! Though there are things I’d like to keep close to the chest with specific story beats that I’ve got bouncing around in my head. Also sometimes I prefer to show instead of tell 🖼️.

Some small arcade in town was hiring and after a whirlwind of an interview, you started working there the very next day. Your new bosses are… a bit weird, but it’s kinda cool working in an arcade and it pays fair enough.

Okay, actually, they’re really weird. One of them is a high-energy neurotic neat freak and the other sleeps on the break room couch for a half of the day and is kind of a menace for the other half. First thing I gotta lay down (cause this is a FNaF AU) is that Sun and Moon are not targeting children. In fact, many of the people they are targeting are those Sun and Moon judge to be harming children in some capacity. The situation… complicates further along, but this is the basis. Sun and Moon are driven to killing by their strong instinct to protect children.

Now their intentions may certainly sound pure and noble, but in practice and method they are decidedly… not.

FYI, this isn’t to say that dead children will not be present in this AU… this is a FNaF AU. Other characters from the FNaF lineup likely will make appearences in some form or another.

But Wyervan, if Sun and Moon only pick victims that are bad people, doesn’t that mean that Y/N is safe as long as they’re not a dick?

How is this changed if the actions taken by Musk caused the deaths of soldiers in the alliance America is part of? And how is this changed if after having calls with Vladimir Putin, Musk starts advocating publicly for Ukrainian surrender? And what if he is making money off this? 

And what do we do with the reports that Musk privately acknowledged that he was “in” the Russia-Ukraine War—but not, per the evidence we currently have, on the same side as America?

Is there some reason the House GOP is scared to investigate this? Or DOJ? What am I missing here? 

How is all this inflected by the data confirming Musk complies with the demands of hostile foreign governments at a far higher rate than his Twitter predecessors did? And how is that inflected by the fact that his Twitter coowners are autocratic Saudi butchers allied with Russia? 

And in the midst of all this he comes out publicly and tells 150 million followers to vote Republican? At a time we know both the Russians and the Saudis have secretly interfered in American elections on behalf of the Republicans? And then he starts making all sorts of changes... 

...to what is more or less a public utility (even if it is privately owned) that benefit hostile foreign governments, agents of hostile foreign governments, American disinformation agents operating as “useful idiots” for hostile foreign governments, and anti-American Kremlinists? 

And as I recall, didn’t he at one point threaten to stop providing resources to the American government that he’d previously provided *while* he was simultaneously advocating for a Ukrainian surrender following multiple phone calls with Vladimir Putin? Like—that seems really bad? 

Again, I’m not an expert in this, but I’m asking at what point Musk runs afoul of FARA? Or the Logan Act? Or something rather more serious that relates to military conflicts in which the United States is involved? All of this seems really serious to me and everyone’s ignoring it. 

America just went through an eight-year period in which a narcissistic sociopathic far-right White male billionaire colluded with Russia and the Saudis to interfere in our elections and advance illegal Russian adventurism. Is it just me or is the exact same thing happening again? 

(PS) Obviously I’m leaving a ton of things out here, e.g. the fact that Musk, like Trump, has repeatedly been accused of fraud, or that Kremlin policy inside the U.S. is to foment racial and religious divisions to weaken America... and Musk has been doing exactly that on Twitter. 

(PS2) Are we sure we’re not in the middle of a national security situation here? Is it wrong to think the Senate Intel Committee should be holding hearings to find out what Musk has been doing secretly with the Russians—and whether or how it’s connected to Twitter and the Saudis? 

(PS3) If Elon Musk will do the bidding of Vladimir Putin in terms of disabling Ukrainian military equipment and proposing that Ukraine surrender a good portion of its land area to Putin and his war criminals, what *else* is he doing at the bidding of the Kremlin or Saudi royals? 

(PS4) When we see Musk simultaneously pushing the “Ban the ADL” hashtag even as hostile foreign agents intending to cause chaos in the U.S. are doing the same thing, and we know who Musk is holding secret calls with... uh, isn’t that all super concerning from a NatSec standpoint? 

(PS5) And not for nothing, but many of you will remember the major media report I just posted in which Musk confesses that he wants to “take over the world’s financial system.”

Uh, for whom? Will he seek to benefit Russia and Saudi Arabia and harm the United States in that, too? 

(PS6) Remember how Trump led with racism and antisemitism and other forms of ethnic and religious bigotry that caused *chaos* in the United States, only for us to learn he was in cahoots with Russia and the Saudis?

Does that not feel... familiar, now?

I have some concerns here. 

(PS7) I’ve never claimed to be an expert in these particular areas, which are a subspecialization within federal criminal practice that very rarely comes into play. But I certainly—as a citizen and voter—am wondering why the *hell* we’re not having congressional hearings on this? 

(PS8) There’s no question whatsoever that Congress has an obligation to exercise its oversight responsibilities very aggressively here—as if I’m understanding correctly Elon Musk has a defense contract. The revelations in the new book about him are therefore very f*cking serious. 

(PS9) And remember how Trump always accuses others of what he has just done or is about to do? Just as concerns that Musk could be doing the bidding of hostile foreign nations arise, he starts threatening to sue others for “controlled speech.” We have seen this playbook before...

(PS10) I would think the FBI, DOJ, FTC, FCC, NSA, SEC and *many* others would want to be all over this situation right now. Instead we are getting radio silence. Or, not radio silence, but Musk and his allies pushing racial and religious division inside the U.S. on a daily basis.

I want to cause trouble and add to the discourse regarding Toto's different marriages and children timelines. His youngest child that's not Jack was born in 2004 or 2005 as they were 18 in Jan 2023. Toto and Susie met whilst she was in DTM and he was a coowner of HWA AG so 2006-2007. He claims he was interested in her immediately in the F1 Nation podcast but timelines for them starting dating and him proposing vary depending on the source. If we're using the podcast timeline then they got together 2007/2008. Then, they obviously got married in 2011. In all fairness to Toto, divorces do take a while to be processed due to often needing a significant separation period so they may have been separated if not already divorced when he met Susie. I have no idea why we're discussing this on your blog though.

Angemos and the traits don’t even get me started on the inconsistencies!!!!! With the bone-caged trait… you can’t even make clothes have a certain pattern or its considered an ascended trait, but somehow some people get their angemos approved anyways when they do the same thing. Want a loophole for a super rare staff exclusive trait? Just make a heavenly with bug wings and call it ascended. In the description for the fallen to heavenly/heavenly to fallen traits, you have to keep their base traits (feathered wings for heavenly in this case), but you can cheat that so easily. On topic of the bug wings, you can only do 2 pairs total for fallen before its acended but just scroll through the approval spot because so many have multiple wings but arent counted for it which is so inconsistent and frustrating to see if you happen to get a mod to tell you that yours isnt allowed when so many others are let through. Also I see so many heavenlies with not full halos (like a moon shape just imagine anything that isnt a fully closed O) that get approved while others are nitpicked for not being fully closed by like one pixel. Back when other mods were active there would be people often getting their angemos approved so the coowner would have to go back and tell the person they need something changed. Like the mods couldnt even fix their own mistake so they had to get the coowner to take back the approval while other designs get to stay illegal….. Another thing theres a rule where the fuzzy ball form the angemos transform into have to have 2 eyes for heavenly but 1 for fallen but mods say “fuck it!! approved!!” so there are so many illegal ones. Im mostly angry about it because I am under the category where my angemo got nitpicked. Theres so many inconsistencies with the approvals that it makes the trait system useless. I will say that I am happy that more and more people are coming out about how frustrating the species is because it needs to be said and I could go on and on. If only the owners could see these so they can change for the better but watch them not gaf if its brought to their attention....
