Things that  Make me Smile

For this task we were asked to go out to paper chase and look and the selection of cards they had and try find ones that caught our eye or ones that we found interesting/funny. We were also asked to take a picture of one thing in Paperchase that made us happy.

The cards that I had chosen really stood out to me two of them because of the humor behind them and the third one because of the thought behind it.  Each of the cards that I had selected are very simple and basic but have either a funny caption to go with the image or like the thanks for being my best bestie card it has a deep meaning behind it and if I was to receive  card like that from someone it would probably make really happy as it would show that you mean a lot to someone.

The item from paper chase that i selected that made me happy was a little cacti. This made me happy because of the glitter and how small it was it just made me smile and felt all warm inside.

PAPERCHASE CARDS I chose these three cards as they each have a different purpose, I liked how the imagery on the cards link to the message they give which is quite effective. I love maps so I took a photo of the amazing world map wrapping paper for the thing that makes me happy :)

Images can Trigger different Emotions & Emotional reaction. Memories, Composition, subject matter & image mood can affect how you feel about an image. But the same image can trigger different emotions for different people.

Makes Me Happy Task:

I am a happy person and nature helps me a lot to stay happy. i love sunshine,clouds,lakes/beaches, rivers, snow and of course my family. I try my best to capture these moments because whenever m sad these pictures bring smile on my face 😊

Today we re-visited the Paperchase store located on Buchanan Street and were asked to take a picture of something that makes us smile, the two that i have chosen are polar opposites of each other. > I chose the first one because the colours in this section of the store were gorgeous, so many varying shades of blue. Such an eye catching part of the store. > I chose the second image as it has contains diverse colours. However as they were taken as close and as focused in on (with leading lines) it gives off a sense of scaling and depth of field to the image making you more drawn in.

30.6.16 Things that make you happy • Today we have been asked for 5 pictures of things that make us happy and above are mine. -> My best friend -> Photobooths -> Venoms -> Live Gigs -> My two dogs These photos make me feel happy and comforted as they remind me of happy memories that i have encountered. An example of that would be the picture of my dogs.

Images can make someone feel happy because it could be linked to a time that they actually felt happy and reminds them of that moment. These photographs make me happy because of the way I was feeling when I took them. 1.My friends acting as my wee models 2.Friends laughing 3.The sea 4.Discovering new music 5.Mountains/hill walks

Things That Make Me Happy 

I was told to pick 5 things that make me happy.  You never realize what makes you happy until you are asked.  The 5 things that I would have to say make me happy are my dog, the sun set, my friends, my boyfriend and my family. Each of these have different reasons for making me happy. My dog Kodi makes me happy because his little face is so cute and I am able to cuddle him and he warms my heart plus he smiles min pictures with me.  The sun set makes me happy because of the different colours and even though the sun is setting and the day is ending it reminds me that i have managed to get through another day, another adventure and there is always another day ahead of me.  My friends make me happy because they are always there for me through anything they impact my life in such great ways and they know what to do when I’m having a rough day.  My boyfriend makes me happy because he is also one of my best friends and he makes me feel so confident about myself he makes me look at life in a different perspective and allows me to be myself. My family make me happy because no matter what I am going through or what mistakes I make they will always be there for me supporting me through it all.
