hello! if you don't mind answering, what type of equipment do you use to do your art? i've been considering getting a standing-up art tablet, though.. i am very not knowledge on such things so, was wondering if you could suggest any??

Hello Anon! First off i would like to say that a tablet is mostly just a tool. Buying the pricier won't improve the quality of your art. Think of it like a sketchbook, some are very pricy but you don't need to have the fanciest one to do good art. It's a matter of feeling first and foremost. So if you have the opportunity to try out some of them, i would encourage you to choose the one you feel the more comfortable with! You'll stick with it for a long time so do not rush this step! Then, how much do you plan on using your tablet (Is drawing your hobby? your job/aspiring job? Do you draw every day or every sunday? Do you want a pen display or a pen tablet? Everyone has their preferences and it vary heavily to every artist's taste and budget. Also what i expect in a tablet might differ from you. In terms of brand, i only ever used Wacom, but i heard XP-Pen and Huion are quite decent and way more affordable. I also learned that Wacom is not that good of quality anymore so...I would try any of them really.

As for me, I have a Wacom27HD I have been using for 9+ years. She's very large, very heavy and very pricy XD. I took such a beast because i use it all the time for my job. (Also Wacom was still a monopoly the market leader at that time) if i ever have to replace her, i would purchase a smaller one though because i never use all the space on my screen, it's a bit of a waste. (Not specially the same brand, i tried a very comfortable Huion at work once)

Sorry i'm not really able to pinpoint one tablet in particular, i consider it to be a bit personal (really, all my artist friends has different tastes) I'm very happy with mine but this giant ass expensive tablet is not for everyone so i don't see myself recommending this XD As long as you have a good feeling with your pick you'll be fine!
