Serious version you say. Tell me more about what you are crafting with Rustblaze/star?

well my general idea is to keep him a bit more morally grey. Im thinking his mentor is Darkstripe. While at first they bully him, Rustpaw tries to compensate by being very anti-kittypet, which seems to earn Dark/Tiger/Long’s respect. Rustpaw has a bit of a identity crisis after that, and eventually distances himself from the trio, but some of the effects remain— he stole Cloudtail from Princess, to craft him into his mold of a warrior, and killed Smudge during a skirmish. Eventually he tries to make things right and takes Cloudleap to see Princess, who gets in a scuffle with Rustblaze. neither of them are hurt, and Rust wins easily, but she tore his ear.

Shockingly, Princess decides to join ThunderClan and becomes Applebloom— she refuses to leave Cloudleap. She’s very charismatic and convinced Nightscourge to allow her in, even if temporary. She becomes a permanent monarch!

Eventually Ravenwing comes to Rustblaze and Applebloom about Bluestar’s death, who the rest of them hadn’t met. They also rally Sandstorm and Duststorm (who are sibling here) Spottedleaf, and Graystripe. Eventually Longtail feels disillusioned and joins in too.

Lewa was super into Warrior Cats, Animorphs, Narnia, Redwall if he could sit still for it long enough, anything that gave him new worlds to explore in his head and let him pretend to be somebody else. Friends optional. This was a kid who spent most of his time running around outside pretending to be a feral cat or a dragon or the owlman of Kini Nui. He had a Warrior Cat-sona named Cloudleap and he was grey and white with green eyes and he was really good at climbing trees and could jump really high and he drew him a LOT and had a while backstory for him which he could rattle off unprompted. He also had 1000 dragon and Redwall OCs and he checked every closet in every house he ever went to for Narnia portals until he was 11.

Cloudleap, Shimmerstars "mate" who is a permanent queen. Neither of them really love eachother it is a purely political arrangement. Shimmer wants kits to be heirs one day and cloud will provide that, as long as she gets to sit in the nursery all day and do nothing. She does as little as possible to still be considered a queen and the other monarchs greatly despise her.

Introducing the main characters for the story I wanna start writing! Mr. tall black cat is Wisprush, his apprentice is Badgerpaw, and the angsty yellow cat is Cloudleap. Badgerpaw and Cloudleap are POV characters and Wisprush... well you’ll see.

Story:

“Again!”

Wornpaw panted under the harsh dryleaf sun. “Mentor, may I take a break? Please?”

Buckhackle sneered from the shade. “Once you master the move.”

Wornpaw struggled to keep her balance. “Please?” she asked.

Buckhackle shook his head. “Stay out here training until the Howling time. Then you can come back to camp.”

Buckhackle left for camp, and admittedly forgot about the apprentice. Her family mourned when she vanished, especially his mate, Cloudleap--but he didn’t care, and despite the multiple complaints, he was given an apprentice the next moon.

He trained Rustpaw even harder, pushing him to be stronger, faster, tougher.

One day, Rustpaw messed up a simple move. It was such a stupid thing, but Buckhackle saw red, slamming the apprentice down over and over again, not stopping until the Howling time started.

He had looked down at the little body with a mix of horror and frustration. Why should he be punished for the weakness of others? He threw Rustpaw’s corpse off a cliff and started back to camp.

He never made it past the coyotes.

I assume it is your doing that the vents of our home echo with my beloved’s merriment? 

My lady wife asks that I tell you the new address for your missives is  DESERTSTORM23@SPACEGMAIL.RP. She wishes you the best of luck and would say more, but started laughing harder than ever and could not draw breath. I will apologize for the fact that she utilized me as a courier, but when composing a response, the force of her reaction had her icd fall from the vents and shatter.

As I deduce this is due to emotions and something to do with the melancholic dragonborn who has been staying with us, I shall keep this tight lipped. Please send my regards to Lady Elyn and Lady Maliah.
