Evil Baron Clive (originally: A gonosz Kornél báró) 2025 Watercolour on paper
Here is a character from my childhood: Clive Crocodile, from Edward and Friends. He is currently participating in a play he put on together with his friends; he is, as you can see, playing the wicked baron, and I loved how he was obviously really enjoying himself in that villainous role.
I made his costume and the stage props just a touch more elaborate than in canon, but I wanted to keep the spirit of it.

LEVIATHAN
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHO IS HE?
In Demonic mythology, Leviathan is often considered a powerful demon that embodies chaos and destruction. He is often depicted as a sea serpent, dragon, or sea monster. He is believed to be a symbol of evil and the embodiment of all that is dark and destructive in the world. In some traditions, Leviathan is also associated with deep waters and the depths of the sea, and is often thought to have the ability to create immense storms.
BASIC INFO:
Appearance: a massive, black or blue scaled serpentine-dragon with silver eyes that shine like stars; his body spans dozens of meters even when coiled. Leviathan usually keeps his eyes squinted when around others since if he fully opens them, it creates a massive blast of immense despair.
Personality: Leviathan values loyalty more than anything. He also values love, innocence, idealism, intelligence, and serenity. He is deeply ponderous and serious, and sometimes he can appear to be dire when overcome by despair. He is very meticulous and patient as well, and despite his dark and serious behaviour, he will show compassion towards those who are innocent. He usually prefers being alone and seldomly speaks to anyone, making him one of the most withdrawn demons. Leviathan is incredibly austere and diligent, as well as powerful. He is easily able to crush the psychologically defenses of armies just by approaching them. Leviathan is the ancient dragon who destroys all that is redundant (be it people, places, or ideas); he tears right through them but does not devour them. These things instead scatter apart over vast distances so that better things can come forth. Overall, Leviathan tends to be cold, calculating, dispassionate, and very reserved with most beings. He rarely speaks to anyone except only when necessary. Like every being, Leviathan has a shadow aspect, which is his darker and destructive side. This side emerges when Leviathan is overcome by his own grief, causing him to become cold, sadistic, and robotic in personality. This side of him is the one which created a race of entities which are very similar to the Cenobites mentioned in the books by Clive Barker. Leviathan creates these beings from select humans who are being tormented in his realm and transforms them into cold-natured beings who know nothing but pain and act as sado-masochistic torturers for Hell.
Symbols: The Leviathan Cross, serpents, dragons, seaweed, envy, seashells, and the sea
King/Ruler of: despair, pain, loneliness, isolation, chaos, envy, desolation, the sea, and defense
Culture: Demonic and Mesopotamian
Plants: seaweed, lotus, iris, mint, lavender, reeds, and palo santo
Crystals: aquamarine, black tourmaline, azurite, larimar, obsidian, smoky quartz, ocean jasper, bloodstone, kyanite, sapphire, pearl, moonstone, tanzanite, clear quartz and enhydro quartz
Animals: serpents, dragons, crocodile, and whale
Incense: frankincense, copal, sandalwood, myrrh, eucalyptus, mint, lavender, calamus, and palo santo
Practices: water divination, shadow work, chaos magick, self-growth, protection, and transformation
Colours: blue, teal, silver, turquoise, black, emerald green, and white
Numbers: N/A
Zodiacs: Pisces and Aquarius
Tarot: Justice and The Devil
Planet: Neptune
Days: N/A
Parents: N/A
Sibling: Behemoth
Partner: unnamed partner
Children: N/A
MISC:
Dragons: in many cultures, dragons are often seen as powerful and fearsome creatures, and are associated with deep waters and the sea. Similarly, Leviathan is also a powerful and fearsome creature associated with the sea. It is possible that the idea of Levianthian creatures, such as sea serpents or dragons, emerged from the same deep waters and mysterious depths of the sea that Leviathan was associated with.
Serpents: particularly sea serpents, are often associated with Leviathan due to the similar nature and behaviour of the two creatures. Both are often depicted as large, powerful, and fearsome creatures that are able to move through the water effortlessly and strike with great force. Serpents are also often associated with wisdom, healing, and transformation, which are qualities that are sometimes attributed to Leviathan as well.
The sea: in Jewish mythology, the sea is often seen as a place of chaos and danger, and is associated with the unknown and the untamed. Leviathan, as a powerful and fearsome sea creature, is seen as embodying this chaotic and dangerous aspect of the sea, and is often associated with the raw power and mystery of the natural world. This association with the sea and chaos is also seen in the story of the creation of the world in Jewish mythology, which is said to have been made from the deep and chaotic waters of the sea.
Chaos: in many religious and mythological traditions, chaos is seen as a primordial state of disorder and emptiness, out of which the world and all of creation were formed. Leviathan, as a powerful and fearsome sea creature, was seen as embodying this state of chaos and destruction, and was thought to represent the raw and untamed power of the natural world. This association with chaos and the untamed wild is also seen in other mythological creatures in Jewish traditions, such as the Behemoth, which is often portrayed as a huge and destructive beast that represents the untamed and uncontrollable forces of nature.
Seaweed: it is often associated with Leviathan and other sea creatures because it is commonly found in the sea and is an important part of the marine ecosystem. Seaweed is often found clinging to rocks and other structures in the sea, and is an important food source for many marine creatures. It is also seen as a sign of abundant life in the sea, as it requires a healthy and productive ocean ecosystem to thrive. In addition, seaweed is sometimes associated with the idea of hidden power and potential, as it may hold secrets or properties that are not immediately apparent.
FACTS ABOUT LEVIATHAN:
He enjoys being seen as more of a dragon than a demon.
Leviathan can create tsunamis and create needles of water and skewer opponents.
He can manifest hellfire all over his body and incinerate his surroundings and targets at once.
Leviathan is one of the most powerful demons in Hell, personifying Envy which is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
As the demonic ruler of the seas, Leviathan possess unlimited control over the oceans and all who dwell within.
Chaos manipulation: Leviathan is often described as an embodiment of chaos.
His ability allows him to travel across universes.
HOW TO INVOKE LEVIATHAN:
Speak to King Leviathan as you would with any other god, be polite and considerate, especially since he is royalty. Contact him through telepathically speaking in your mind, directing the words to him (you can do this verbally, but if malicious spirits hear, they may pretend to be him). Try to dress formally as well, and do not demand things from him. For those who are depressed, please keep in mind that speaking to Leviathan causes you to become exposed to his energy, which will lead to your depression becoming worse.
PRAYER FOR LEVIATHAN:
Great Leviathan, powerful and fierce, I come to you in humble admiration of your strength and might.
You are a reminder of the raw power of nature and the chaos that can exist within it. Help me to channel that strength within myself, and to use it for good and for the protection of those I care about.
Guide me, Great Leviathan, and watch over me with your all-seeing eye. Hail Great Leviathan.

I love this meme.
Anyways, here are some german voice actors I really like, Vincent Fallow (left), Roman Wolko (right) and his brother Johannes Wolko (below).
I've known the two brothers since... my early childhood I'd say (not personnally of course, just the voices xD) and discovered Vincent Fallow rather recently, found out they were friends and created this little image as a meme.
Vincent actually voices Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI, while Roman voiced characters in Pokemon, Beyblade, The Witcher, he even voiced Peter Parker, so he's all over the place. Just like his little bro, but the most important ones for me are Paul (Pokémon) and Darwin's Game, geez, I had goosebumps.
Also, the croc is there because Jo went to Paraguay for a longer time and tried to give a sausage to a small crocodile in the swamps. Because... I dunno, he went insane, probably xD
This was some composition training for myself, and an excuse to draw these three xDD
Have a nice day and stay safe!

Note
Got any recs for books that are similar to these movies/games?
1. The Mummy franchise
2. Indiana Jones
3. Tomb Raider
4. Uncharted games
I need something with these kinda vibes! 😭
Hello!
Thanks for your question!
Here are a few recs that I just thought of:
In Deeper Waters by F. T. Lukens - it has pirates, it has LGBT romance, it has great adventure.
If the archeology is the vibe: Labyrinth by Kate Mosse - Alice finds a cave excavating with a labyrinth covering the walls and the bodies of two people, we are then taken on an adventure showing how this all came to be, the holy grail is involved.
Guarded Treasure by Mae Lovett - if you like the romance of The Mummy and do not mind a little spice this is the book for you.
The Fargo Series by Clive Cussler - these books do date back to the seventies, just a heads up but they are all what you are looking for with adventure, treasure to be found and good plot.
The Veronica Speedwell series by Deanna Raybourn - historical fiction set in Victorian times about a young woman who goes on adventures. (If you like this you might like Crocodile On The Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters).
And a classic that you might like: Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson I would also recommend Kidnapped! By the same author.
I really hope these help and feel free to message again!

@naamah-beherit tagged me in this! Thank you!
(I was so excited to see Clive Barker in your list, I almost never see anyone else reading his books. I haven't read Imajica yet but it's on my bookshelf watching me type this out, hahaha.)
Rules: in a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you.
(I also cheated and had some series, ha.)
Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien
Weaveworld - Clive Barker
House of Leaves - Mark Z. Danielewski
One Hundred Years of Solitude - Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Maniac Magee - Jerry Spinelli
The Claidi Journals - Tanith Lee
The Twenty Days of Turin - Giorgio De Maria
As I Lay Dying - William Faulkner
A Song of Ice and Fire - George R. R. Martin
Notes of a Crocodile - Qiu Miaojin
Anyone who wants to participate, consider yourself tagged :)

I did this with some of my friends in Discord as we took turns doing the prompts. How I went about doing it was five per character. I'm gonna catalogue them all here because why not.
Abe(no last name)
1- Abe has no siblings and does not have any information on his extended family.
2- Abe's mother died in childbirth. All he knows about her is that she gave him three things, his life, his name, and a long black scarf. These are the only things he considers anyone to have given him, the rest of his possessions are things he took.
3- Lmao bitch is fatherless. He has no interest in the concept of a father, though in the situation where he had the chance to meet his dad, he would kill him.
4- Abe once witness a teenaged girl kick a grown ass man in the nuts and then threaten to strangle him with belt for information. This didn't change his morality, he was always a fucked up guy, but this change one vital thing. There are a few people in this world that are interesting, and maybe worth keeping around just to see what they'll do next.
5- A gun, a lighter, some lock picks, a few different fake IDs, some components to a molotov cocktail.
Sera Norio
6- He dreams about being buried several feet underground in a coffin. Strangely he doesn't consider this to be a nightmare.
7- What he does consider a nightmare is whenever the dream morphs into a sort of second phase, where his coffin is suddenly dug up. Normally his coffin is wooden but through dream logic it changes into a glass one so he can slowly make out the person digging him up as the dirt disappears. It's a girl in dark purple gown, with messy dirty blonde hair, and no facial features besides a big sinister grin. The nightmare ends with the girl getting down to open the coffin, but he always wakes up in a cold sweat before she gets him.
8- no.
9- He lived in a tiny little town as the local undertaker's son, and now he lives in the capital as a mortician the government often contracts.
10- More clothes. He does not like being exposed, especially if there's intimate subtext in the air.
Ian "Crocodile" Clives
11- Any situation where there's something that's able to connect him to his past. He doesn't want anything to do with his old life because he A. Doesn't want to endanger the person he left behind, and B. Doesn't want to face the person he left behind.
12- He describes the time where he's sleeping to when he's the most comfortable. He never dreams, so it's just like he's not existing for a few hours, which to him is relieving.
13- No. He cuts up recently murdered people and preserves their organs to sell on the black market for a living. He's extremely comfortable handling a corpse or messy crime scene, it's second nature.
14- Names. Names are important to keep track of in the criminal underworld.
15- Not too much, he doesn't really have any material possessions he's particularly attached to, and he doesn't care too much about money beyond "I need to pay rent so I have a place to live, and I need to meet my quota so my boss doesn't have me offed."
Clance Clansol
16- Success. Clance considers happiness to be a byproduct of success. If he's not accomplishing whatever the fuck his weird strange goals are, then is he really happy?
17- A rubik cube. It just has an "intellectual" aesthetic to it, a style he purposefully parodies with his memer redditor persona.
18- Both wisdom and ambition are important qualities to Clance, though he'll likely lean towards ambition. Gotta have big goals.
19- Clance is very self destructive when it comes to his relationships with other people. He purposefully built his whole persona around being the obnoxious kind of guy that you can easily find yourself in an antagonistic relationship. His only real friendship is with Sunada, who herself has issues with how she views friendships.
20- Clance is always looking at what others are trying to accomplish, what they're trying to get done, and silently compares his progress with theirs. He's secretly really critical of himself. It's a little hard to go further into detail without spoiling the deets.
Wendy Pan
21- When something negative happens to Wendy, it is simply The Universe trying to get in her way of achieving her goals. She believes both herself and Sera to be those scorned by the very cosmos itself, and attributes most bad things that happens to divine sabotage.
22- She does not like people that aren't Sera Norio. In her childhood, the only one to ever shown her kindness was Sera, and thus she's constructed the belief that he's the only person in the world that truly deserves happiness.
23- Wendy simply thinks that most people are inherently evil, or just ambivalent to the actions of those who are evil. She does not think very deeply on her opinions of others, her mind on humanity and society was made up years ago.
24- In their childhood, it took Wendy a long time to go to trust Sera. At first he was just the strange child who lived in the undertaker's house, who didn't snitch on her when she hid in his cupboard. It was a long while until she grew to trust, to attach herself to him, though it was inevitable. The only person to offer shelter to her, the only person who she could talk to, to confide him. Wendy has room for only one person in her beaten and abused heart, and that is Sera Norio.
25- Very quickly. Low opinion of people and all. Anyone that she isn't bribing or blackmailing and isn't Sera is most likely working against and wants to punish her for the act of existing.
(BONUS!: This is the same person in Sera's nightmare. Also kidna fucked up that there's only three girls here, and one of them is this creature. My cast is more evenlt gender split, the Wheel just chose mostly guys for some reason.)
Omura Minori
26- She is a children. Despite the fact that she's more intelligent then anyone else her age, she is still a little kid and likes hanging around other little kids. If you let her, she'll organize a group of kids into a little army, and under her control they'll actually be incredibly dangerous. Now that I'm thinking about it, when she was first noticed was when she over threw an entire orphanage by getting her fellow snot nosed imps to unite with her.
27- Omura is tactically minded and confident, she approaches and reacts to conflict with stoicism and a plan. She handles confrontation probably better than most of my characters.
28- She is tiny. She can't inflict physical violence. She will however command adults to "get ready to engage combat/use persuasive force." She'll think her choices through, but she doesn't have qualms with making someone beat the shit out someone else who isn't giving her what she wants.
29- Omura is still a child, and yet is already what she wants. She's recognized as one of the greatest tactical geniuses of our time, and more importantly, she gets to eat breakfast food three meals a day. So many pancakes. What more to life is there than that?
30- Insects, mustard, adults making sexual innuendos with each other, etc. She is tiny silly kid, who just so happens to have the strategic mind comparable to hi story's greatest military commanders.
Lionel Theobold
31- Honestly, hard to say, and that's because Lionel wants to get out of his comfort zone, my man wants to interact with people, he wants to experience the trial and error of learning how to act around people his own age. When he'd naturally feel the most comfortable is on his own, maybe reading a novel or doing cartography work, but he also doesn't want to just hide in his room all day.
32- Probably just his introduction in the plot. He wakes up in a room he doesn't recognize, and is woken up by not only a stranger, but a stranger a gender he has no experience talking to. He is forced to speed run learning how to be normal around women. Bitch was damn lucky that Isa's natural instincts lead her to try find out why someone is acting a particular way, and try to be more empathetic when she thinks the other person is out of their element. There's a version of that scene where [my friend] was in control and man does that not go well for Lionel.
33- Lionel knows he's scuffed in a lot of areas, and does want to improve. He wants to learn actual social skills. He can sometimes take a piece of criticism hard, but in the end he's willing to take whatever you dish at him as long as it's at least a little constructive.
34- Eh??? I'd say he's smart enough to try different solutions to a problem, though sometimes he can get hung up if he was *pretty sure* something worked a certain that it's not seeming to.
35- Lionel is very kind and polite to those he likes. He's constantly offering to help people with their problems, wanting to be as valuable as a friend as he can.
(BONUS!: A way I like to describe him is this: Lionel has permanent disadvantage on all Persuasion checks, but has like, a 16 in Charisma(that's good.) He's genuinely a great guy, but his personal life experiences just leaves him absolutely scuffed when it comes to social interactions.)
Sunada Maki
36- Matt should knows how this goes well, Sunada did not tolerate Seth's BS. She's very upfront about her opinion about other people, and will actively fight back if she believes someone is wronging her. (This next bit all happened in a RP, isn't strictly canonical but is a good reflection of how'd she react to ableist people.) She ran over Seth on multiple different occasions, and when he apologized before he was about to be executed, she was just like, "Yeah, whatever man" and absolutely refused to give him closure on that front.
37- I don't think Sunada necessarily really thinks about the concept of honor? She might throw out the word when doing a monologue or rant during a trivia game or tournament, but won't really mean much by it. She kind of feels it in sense, she doesn't like disrespect or losing, but on the whole honor's not a big thing for her. Status on the other hand, is. Her self worth comes from the fact that she's recognized her encyclopedic knowledge on all subjects.
38- Remove the problem. If she isn't the problem, then why would she remove herself? No, if something is causing her grief she is dealing with that shit.
39- no.
40- This probably won't put her in the best light, but she'd likely be very commanding and thorough when speaking to people in service positions. Not necessarily mean, but not really polite or empathetic.
(BONUS!: Context on the bit where she reacts to an ableist bastard, she's paralyzed from the waist down, has been since birth.)
Chiba Shou
41- He feels he should have what he wants, for he already earned it essentially. Not in a "I'm naturally deserving" sort of way, but he feels like what does on a daily basis should earn respect and admiration from his peers.
42- Eh... Probably not. I actually don't think I've ever made him a backstory. I guess he doesn't really need one, but I might write one for him some day.
43- Hm... I'm assuming this means like adopting, which is not something he's ever done, but he's the kind of person who tries to take others under his wing. He really thinks of himself as a father figure, but that's just because of his ego. My man ain't a role model.
44- Pretty easily honestly. He believes he means it, he'll convince himself of it in the moment, but never has it been truly sincere.
45- If asked, he'll probably say something romantic about becoming one of the stars or something else like that. Bullshit. Chiba does not know what'll happen when he dies, and fears it. He hopes by becoming surrounded by admirers and having people remember him after he's gone, he'll find some solace in passing away, but in truth it's all empty, and when his time comes he'll scream and plead with the void as it consumes him.

(Added this link for people who prefer reading to watching videos to get information.)
Trumpet of Patriots, with emphasis on the Trump, is the latest incarnation of billionaire Clive Palmer's far right vanity project political party. He accidentally called it Trumpet of Parrots when he launched it, which is honestly more accurate. He's borrowing a lot of ideas from Trump.
Amongst the others, there's the Animal Justice party and Legalise Canabis, which are pretty much what it says on the tin, and of course Katter's Australian Party, whose policies include relaxing firearm ownership laws and reducing crocodile numbers.
I saw a corflute advertising the local HEART party candidate the other day. I hadn't heard of HEART before. She looked sane, but when I looked them up it turned out they're antivax climate change deniers.
ALWAYS research a micro party before even considering voting for them - particularly in the senate, where there's an actual chance of getting elected.
Federal election in six days guys. Time to actually look up the sixteen billion tiny parties and figure out which ones are white power christofascists employed by billionaire mining magnates and which ones aren't.

Year-End Poll #24: 1973
Tumblr media
[Image description: a collage of photos of the 10 musicians and musical groups featured in this poll. In order from left to right, top to bottom: Tony Orlando and Dawn, Jim Croce, Roberta Flack, Marvin Gaye, Paul McCartney and Wings Kris Kristofferson, Elton John, Billy Preston, Carly Simon, Diana Ross. End description]
More information about this blog here
*Turns my chair around so I can sit in it backwards*
So. You were just caught trying to cover up a major break-in into the Democratic National Committee headquarters in order to cement your reelection.
As I alluded to last poll, one major historical event I need to mention is the Watergate scandal. The actual break-in took place the previous year, but the resulting investigations and trials won't start to take place until this year -- after Nixon's reelection. However, there aren't many songs about the incident from this time, or at least not in the charts. Most of the songs protesting Nixon tended to focus on the war.
Speaking of the Vietnam War, 1973 does not mark the end of the war, but it does mark the beginning of the United States' exit. To bring it back to the music, one of the 60's polls included the Monkees' Last Train to Clarksville, a song that wasn't explicitly written about the war, but had the war projected onto it because it's a song about someone leaving home and not knowing when they're coming back. It seems fitting that one of the songs on today's poll is Tony Orlando and Dawn's Tie a Yellow Ribbon[...], a song that wasn't explicitly written about the war, but had the war projected onto it because it's a song about someone coming home and not knowing what his welcome will look like.
Soul music is continuing to have one of its golden ages, with artists like Roberta Flack and Marvin Gaye topping the charts. It's been a while since I talked about Billboard from the business side of things, but the explosion of this genre gives me a good excuse to do so. In 1973, the Billboard chart for R&B songs was changed from "Best Selling Soul Singles" to "Hot Soul Singles". This change may not sound that significant, but it becomes more notable when you see how often this title changes. This article goes more into depth about Billboard's complicated history when it comes to its representation of Black music.
Which reminds me, it's time to start talking about disco. It will reach the polls soon, I promise, but now feels like a good time to set the scene before we get to that point. As I mentioned in a previous poll, the disco scene really came out of soul. Especially Philly Soul, which had lush instrumentation that worked really well with the overall atmosphere of early disco. At this point in history, disco is still an underground subculture, and musically the line between it and soul music isn't that clear. Disco as its own genre of music that could be identified as such by the average listener will come later.
I don't usually talk about the formation of genres until they reach the charts, but I'm going to make an exception here. Because 2023 is the 50th anniversary of this genre, the genre has grown into a dominating musical force across the globe, and it's the only genre I actually studied in college.
In 1973, a Jamaican-American teenager named Clive Campbell (more widely known as DJ Kool Herc) and his sister, Cindy, started hosting parties out of their apartment in The Bronx, New York. These parties would play a lot of funk records, but he wouldn't just play them. Instead, he would play two copies of the same record on a turntable so he could extend the percussion section of the song, also called the break (which is where breakdancing comes from). This would lay the foundation for hip-hop, further expanded by artists like Grandmaster Flash and Afrika Bambaataa. All three of these men are still alive and I've linked interviews with some of them.
Hip-hop and rap are often used interchangeably, but there is a difference. Hip-hop exists both as a subculture and as a style of music. It incorporates art forms such as DJing, breakdancing, graffiti, beatboxing, rapping, and many other elements. That's why I said DJ Kool Herc helped set the foundation of hip-hop. Within early hip-hop culture, the MC was mostly there to bounce off of the DJ and keep the energy up. That isn't to discredit the difficult work of early MCs (trust me, if you were bad at it, the audience would let you know). Rap itself as an art from has a plethora of different artistic roots in Black culture, from scat singing in jazz, to various traditional West African storytelling techniques, to early 20th century gospel groups, to rhyme games, to Black radio DJs. The genre started to get more notice outside of the party scene as wordplay and flows started to expand further, especially as the first hip-hop groups started to form and the MCs became part of the "band". Like disco, hip-hop was still very much an underground subculture, but it would soon take over the nation.
It will be another 17 years before the first rap song reaches number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby). We won't see a rap song featured on these polls until 1995. But it's hip-hop's 50th birthday, and so much of modern American culture doesn't make sense without its involvement.

For the event (congrats btw) could I get touch and scent for Shanks, Mihawk, and crocodaddy?
Shanks
Touch: Shank's a chill/casual guy when it comes to physical affection. He's always got his arm around your waist, his hand on your shoulder, etc. His touches are almost always light and breezy; he's not above running his fingers down your back just to make you shiver and laugh out loud. When you two are alone together at night, his touches are sometimes a bit heavier and have more weight behind them as he holds you close.
Scent: He uses some pine-scented soap that isn't too noticeable or nonsense soap, since he has a sensitive nose and sneezes from heavy scents. He also smells like aftershave whenever you get close to him. He always has the smell of the sea on him, and when he's been drinking he'll also smell a bit like rum or sake. If he was going to wear a cologne, it would be something like the one listed below. His sheets also smell like this, and it's a really comforting scent as you two are laying in bed together.
Tumblr media
Mihawk
Touch: Even after decades of wielding a gigantic sword, his hands are so smooth. He does have calluses, but because he uses a lot of lotion and oils on his skin, they aren't sandpaper-rough like Zoro's fingers. He's not as affectionate in public, but when you two are alone together he enjoys taking little opportunities to subtly touch you: wiping a stray drop of wine off of your lips, brushing some hair behind your ear, putting on some music and inviting you to dance after dinner by taking your arm.
Scent: Only the most sophisticated cologne for Mihawk. I wouldn't be surprised if he took up cologne-making as a hobby since he's so picky about scents/bouquet--and since fighting Shanks is out of the question now, he could use a hobby aside from swordfighting. He especially enjoys patchouli, clove, and sandalwood in his cologne mixes, and he always makes it subtle (the smell of overbearing cologne is annoying to him).
Tumblr media
Crocodile
Touch: Even though he's made of sand, he hates having incredibly dry skin. It's a small consequence of having his Devil Fruit, but he always goes to sleep with a bit of lotion on his hand and face and puts more on in the morning when he wakes up. When he wants to be physically affectionate with you, he swaps out his poison hook for one that's normal--and has a blunted tip, just so he doesn't jab you or rip your clothes when he strokes your back. His affection in public is possessive (having his hooked arm around your waist, letting you sit in his lap during meetings), but in private he's more loving: absentmindedly playing with your hair, tracing shapes on the small of your back with his blunted hook, pulling you close to sleepily kiss your cheek.
Scent: He smells like cigars, but it isn't as overbearing as you would think; he dislikes having a strong smell of smoke about him, since he thinks that brands that make you stink afterwards are cheap. He also smells like that kind of cologne that rich, hot older men wear--something like the OP equivalent of Clive Christian Andersen's Imperial Majesty. You know, the kind of cologne where it's nice and earthy, and subtle enough for you to tell when he's nearby (and that he has so much money). The kind of cologne that makes you want to wear his clothes solely to have that scent on you, because it instantly gives you a sense of security and confidence.
