Hi, it's the j-rock fan anon, sorry for the late answer! Ah I recognise almost all of the bands, plus I really like X Japan, so if you by any chance ever translate 'Endless Rain' or 'Rusty Nail', I think i would probably print it and learn it by heart hahah. I just haven't heard the first artist and Wednesday Campanella, but I will, thank you for the recs! I really appreciate it! Some of the ones that I like to listen to are Acid Black Cherry, Buck Tick, Versailles, Matenrou Opera, Dir en grey, Moi dix mois, D'espairsray, Clearveil and so on. From the softer ones I really like Daoko, and some Aimer songs. Also, the way you described Wednesday Campanella reminds me a little of Norazo, if you don't know them check them out, they are silly but I love them!

“Endless Rain” was the first X Japan song I ever fell in love with! I’ll try to sneak one of those songs into my translation queue, haha... It seems like you know quite a lot about visual kei bands! …more than me probably! I know most of those bands by name at least... I definitely had a Versailles obsession for a while! And Dir en grey is a band that I really want to like more, but I find most of their songs straight up terrifying because I’m a wimp. >.<; I looooove their song 「ザクロ」 though… And one of my friends always sings DAOKO’s 「打上花火」 song at karaoke!

And I can never have enough Wednesday Campanella, so I’ll have to check out Norazo! I definitely don’t know as much Korean music as I should.

Thank you for all the recommendations! I’m actually really bad at finding new songs since I’m the type to obsess over one or two. And it doesn’t help that I haven’t been able to go to karaoke with friends to learn new ones either… But now I have some new artists to add to my library!

And the next translation that I’m queuing up is from my partner’s favorite band, that I don’t think is quite so well known abroad, or even by my Japanese coworkers… So please look forward to that as well! ;D
