Welcome To Sims3City!
Tumblr media
They say if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere! Celebrities can be found wandering the shops and giving impromptu performances all over Sims3City. There's live show venues everywhere and it's easy to see why they say this city runs on dreams yet never sleeps!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I found this absolutely gorgeous map: Waterfall Beauty and just had to use it to make my own city world save! This map did come with lots already designated so I filled it up with the best townhouses, apartments, and city life buildings I could find or make to make my own version of a mashup of Starlight Shores and Bridgeport.
Tumblr media
INTERESTING CHARACTERS
Every sim comes to Sims3City to make it big! With a performance venue on nearly every corner, you're sure to see:
The Warflowers - These twins started a band and pulled some of their reluctant friends into it. They know once they got here to The City, they would make it!
Chloe and Bob Katt - always on the hustle to make people believe in magic again!
The Myth family is here, of course, living in the spookiest house!
Mirage Sable always seems able to make everyone else's wishes come true, hoping one day her only one will, too!
Tumblr media
Candice and Arthur finally made it to The City when Candice got her book deal. Arthur is hoping to make it into the celebrity chef business...with a little help from his friend and now roommate, Derek. This new relationship has a lot of challenges being thrown its way, but this couple is determined to make it here and everywhere!
The Vireowing Fairy Sisters not only have beautiful voices, they love to bestow inner and outer beauty on all of those around them. That's perfect in a city that values beauty!
As with anywhere, crime can be overwhelming in the city but H & H Private detective family, Harmony and Henry, are on the case!
Lots of sims from Starlight Shores and Bridgeport are here: The Drama On TV household, the Crash Pad household, the Atkins Household, the Elson Family, the Sagar Family, the Platt Family, the Hemlock, Schlick and Slayer families, the Belle family, the Art Central household, and the Whitfield family.

Fuck it. Fleshes out your Coela region.
Tatsugi Town is a sizable mountain town that reminds me of the desert area in The Sims. It tends to be hot and dry, but there are definitely little oasises here and there, like Butterfree Field, Lake Hassagone, and the Dodgy Cave. Vega Altair, who studies dimensional displacement (I think) has a Pokémon lab there, even if his main studies aren’t Pokémon focused. He can give starters, but you’re probably better off looking for someone else. The houses here are tall and blocky, with either low or high ceilings, very few in between. The gym leader in Tatsugi is Kohaku, the rock type leader.
Mantide is a beach city that I’m sure would get tourists if there were actually things to do in Coela. There’s not even a boardwalk…maybe I can just say there’s a boardwalk and small theme park. There are quite a few seafood places as well as an aquarium. I can imagine people here windboarding in the winter but not surfing. While there is tall grass on the routes, it’s dry and brittle, while the beach stays relatively humid year-round. The people who live here tend to have houseboats or stilt beach houses, leaving the land to business and entertainment for tourists. Professor Fig has a lab here where ancient Pokémon variations are studied. There is an empty gym here, with no leader.
Lanturna Town is a small forested town nestled in Coela’s woodlands. A massive Trevenant, the Turn, patrols its territory here. Lanturna is within its boundaries, but it doesn’t seem to mind too too much, as long as it isn’t bothered. Plenty of ghosts and fairies live in Lanturna’s forests. I imagine the streets here are paved with cobblestone… In the town it’s very cozy, with a little bakery, a café, and a fancy restaurant, as well as the gym ran by Yutsuko. I don’t know what their type specialty is. Harte lives here and you can pick up a starter Pokémon at his ranch, as long as you don’t mind weird genetics…
Tyamo Towers is a large city filled with skyscrapers. This is the downtown of Coela. This is where you find the big library, the office jobs, the hospital, the dark alleys and neon signs. You can also find the dragon type gym, ran by Hwaksim. On the outskirts, just off of Route 4, is an observatory. The light pollution is surprisingly minimal.
Venuza City isn’t far from Tyamo. In fact, Tyamo is simply a sector of Venuza. There are more dark alleys here, shadier residents, and lots of cool graffiti and hobby shops, as well as a casino and cinema. Venuza’s fairy type gym is run by Valonia Wolfram, and he keeps the city loud, louder than the airport. Venuza is also home to a large suburb which houses multiple franchise villains for some reason. You can find Teijirou’s lab here. Maybe don’t get a starter in Venuza.
Lumi District is outside Venuza, away from the suburbs. This is the big entertainment district, with Pokémon contests, bright lights, performance halls, malls, and Field’s gym, which has three gym leaders. Lumi also has the biggest Pokémon center in the region, which functions more as a Pokémon hospital and convenience store. The path into Lumi District, Route 6, lights up as you walk along it! It also plays little chimes as you step. Lots of small Pokémon can be found in the flowering tall grass along the path!
Skrelp City is…rough, to say the least. There are lots of abandoned buildings that you need to traverse through on route 7, making it generally unsafe. Outside of the city is also a dark and dreary swamp, a thick forest that thins out as it reaches Lanturna, and, oh god, a McDonald’s. This is also where the cool people hang out, either at the Punkdragon Café or the tattoo parlor. I just realized it’s called the Dark Café but I’m not changing it now. The gym here belongs to Lottie, a ghost type specialist who works at the café and may serve you some sinister tea. There are lots of shady people who hang around in Skrelp too, but I’d trust that they’re cool. For the most part…probably…
Chou Center is a chilly mountain town on the opposite end of the region from Tatsugi. Route 8 is a hike, going through icy caves and snowy woodland to reach the little settlement. Not many people live here, but it’s quaint and peaceful, with a campsite and an ice skating rink as well as Yukimi’s gym. The view alone is a great reward for traversing the entire region to get there.

Disney Dreamland - Part 5: Create-It-Land
Quite possibly the most visually eclectic of all the lands. This land embodies creativity and the arts, and quite frankly there is no one way to be creative or artistic, so I think the motley visuals are perfectly on theme. That said, I decided to tie the land together by having giant objects themed to each area. For this reason, I specifically wanted Wonderland and 100 Acre Wood next to the border of Fantasyland/Create-It-Land, so that the giant plants and cards of Wonderland and the giant book facade of Pooh would help transition to the giant toys of Toy Box Land and/or the giant art supplies of Toontown. The parade route exits down here.
Tumblr media
Showtime Boulevard
The entrance street of the land from the hub. Dedicated to the performing arts. Would resemble a city street, like a small town version of Broadway, but then transition to include giant objects. Giant instruments of the music playground. Giant sheet music. The ballet house could look like a giant music box. Even the normal buildings could have giant props on them, like giant comedy and tragedy masks, or giant film reels and clapperboards. There would also be a decent amount of performers to bring energy to the area, so that it doesn’t feel like a regular city street. Living statues and street musicians.
Journey Into Imagination: If EPCOT isn’t going to put back Dreamfinder, I’ll gladly take him. Heck, I’ll even settle for a pseudo-sequel with an older Figment now taking on the role of Dreamfinder in honor of his friend. Sets and scenery from the original incarnation are mandatory. There could be a path leading off the boulevard to an area between Create-It-Land and Discoveryland where this ride could be placed, since it does reflect the spirit of both lands.
Fantasia Music Hall: In the spirit of Walt’s original idea for Fantasia, certain classic segments would be permanent fixtures of the show (such as Sorcerer’s Apprentice) and performed by Animatronics on instruments and as dancers in the same vein as the former Mickey Mouse Revue show, while other segments could be animations shown on screen and switched out throughout the year (such as the segments originally planned for Fantasia 2006 that were later released individually). I would love it if the Animation Studio could create new unique animated segments exclusive to the attraction. Permanent animatronic segments would include characters from Pastoral Symphony, Rhapsody in Blue, Dance of the Hours, Night on Bald Mountain (though I could also work with it being a seasonal segment during Halloween), and The Firebird. Playing the full versions of every song would take too long, so the show would feature abridged versions in a medley.
“Music Playground”: Interactive playground of giant musical instruments. Think of the piano scene from Big, but on a grader scale. Piano slides, trampoline drums, xylophone bridges, brass instruments the size of trees. I’ll admit, I don’t know if the audio results of this attraction would be wacky fun or pure tortuous chaos. I was originally imaging this as an outdoor attraction, but it might be better if this were indoors with each type of instrument given its own room with soundproofing.
“Russian Animal Ballet House”: I just wanted an excuse to see animals in fancy costumes performing ballet. Could be costumed actors or animatronics. Nutcracker performances during Christmas are mandatory. Building would resemble a giant music box. Alternatively, the stage could also be used for any original cultural performances from countries not already featured elsewhere in the park (Greek dramas, Bollywood dances, etc.).
Muppet Comedy Theatre: Would have the same mixed media techniques as Muppet*Vision 3D (a screen movie, actual puppeteering, and costume characters), but features a new original story. Could also feature a small meet-and-greet area with Kermit and friends.
Hollywood restaurant: American cuisine. Themed to the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema.
Tumblr media
Toontown
I want this area to have the same energy as Seuss Landing from Universal’s Islands of Adventure, which I personally feel makes for a better Toontown than Disney’s actual Toontown. The buildings would be slightly more distorted and more stylized. I’m wondering if it would also be possible to put some buildings on a moving platform so that they could tilt back and forth for a squash and stretch illusion. Maybe even have a few with giant faces that can emote. This area prominently features giant art supplies that are implied to have brought the land into existence, including giant paintbrushes that are poised in the middle of putting “finishing touches” to the buildings. The entire area would have lots of kinetic sculptures (think of the new Super Nintendo World at Universal) to make the land feel alive. Interactive gags like the Post Office and the Fireworks Factory would of course be included. I would remove the residential area and have the area only themed around Maroon Cartoons Studio, and the downtown area. Characters that don’t fit in any other area of the park could walk around here.
“Mickey Mouse presents…”: Guests would take on the role of camera crew with Mickey as director. The star of the movie is late and we follow Mickey as he accidentally crashes various movie sets looking for the missing actor, who turns out to be none other than Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The various movie sets would portray different genres of cinema. Based on the Mickey short cartoon Roll ‘Em (which, by the way, would have been a more appropriate replacement for the Great Movie Ride than Runaway Railway). While I intended for this to be part of Toontown, I am also okay with this being the last building on Showtime Boulevard to help transition into Toontown.
Backstage Meet-and-Greet: Again, I personally do not care much for meet and greets (With the exception of Goofy. Goofy is the best.), but for the people that do, here you can meet Mickey and Friends including Oswald, Roger and Jessica.
Maroon Cartoons Studio Tour: Based on Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin but using the art style of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (but with actual sets, not screen projections), as well as an interactive element (partially inspired by Monsters Inc Ride & Go Seek in Tokyo). Guests would interact with the sets by “spraying” paint or thinner from the paintbrushes attached to their vehicles. Based on the video game mechanic from Epic Mickey, where paint brings objects into existence, and thinner erases them. For example, a guest could “paint” an anvil that would drop onto Roger’s head. Even spraying the animatronic characters would elicit funny dialogue, “Hey! Watch where you’re spraying! I just got a new paint job yesterday!” While the sets would be physical, the paint and thinner effects could be projections. The trickiest part is projecting a physical object to look like it’s been erased, and since it would set off chain reactions, the projections would have to hide certain objects’ movements. It would be very difficult, but I insist that this ride does not follow the Toy Story Mania route (I’m looking at you, Web Slingers). Please consult actual engineers.
Art of Animation Academy: History of animation exhibit, with animation from all over the world. Japanese anime, Soviet animation, stop-motion, etc. With acknowledgements that Quirino Cristiani and Lotte Reiniger’s films actually pre-date Snow White as the world’s first animated features. Drawing workshops included.
Happy-Go-Lucky Merry-Go-Round: In the same wacky spirit as the Caro-Seuss-el in Seuss Landing. Like the Caro-Seuss-el, the music could speed up and slow down when it operates. Rather than just having wacky versions of real animals, this carousel would have hybrid animals, like the Wuzzles! Also, what if the carousel could run backwards?
Jolly Trolley: The vehicles would run on an elevated track to solve the problem of crowds blocking the way. The track could wind around Toontown, the same way as The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride! does in Seuss Landing. Originally I was only going to have it stay in Toontown, but then I realized the wind-up key on the roof could make it pass for a toy, so why not have it travel through Toy Box Land too, for an even more scenic route.
Goofy’s Bakery Studio: Decorate your own cupcakes and cookies with edible paint.
The Art of Disney: Disney prints, paintings, figurines, and other art. Get your caricature drawn here.
Minnie Mouse Fashions: Disney apparel and headgear. Design and customize your own ears.
Handwich cart: I dunno about you, but I think the Handwich is pretty neat.
Tumblr media
Toy Box Land
Yes, Toy Story Land has been both overused as a land and under-utilized as a proper theme, but I simply love the giant toy aesthetic. It feels like being inside an I Spy book (does anyone remember those books?). I probably could have just made this land fully original with no ties to IP (like I did with choosing not to theme Winter VIllage to Frozen), which I am still open to, but also found it too irresistible to include everyone’s favorite lovable rascals. The movies’ existential themes of jealousy and self-worth, moving on and letting go would be difficult to adapt into attractions, so Toy Story’s inclusion here is to embody reconnecting with your inner child and creativity through play. The name change is just my attempt to make the IP sound less in-your-face. The giant art supplies from Toontown could transition into giant crayons in this area. Also, like Toontown, the entire area would have kinetic sculptures to bring energy to the area, like giant windup keys and pinwheels. To keep with the playful and friendly energy of the land there should be plenty of characters walking around interacting with guests. Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and Bo Peep should preferably be characters that can talk, not just silent costumes, and there would not be any giant static statues of them in the land. Bullseye and the Green Army Men are okay to keep as silent costume characters. Potato Head, Hamm, Rex, Slinky, and Wheezy are talking animatronics, preferably mobile animatronics that can roam the land alongside costume characters. I think the Little Green Aliens and Bo Peep’s sheep are the only characters that are okay to portray as static statues. Sid’s toys could be available characters during the Halloween season.
“Rube Goldberg Machine roller coaster”: Dual track wild mouse roller-coaster, based on a classic, over-convoluted Rube Goldberg design. One track has guests ride in giant toy karts, the other has guests inside giant marbles for a giant marble run track. Vehicles would set off chain reactions, possibly help other vehicles move forward, or create “obstacles” for others. Pulleys and wheels and dominoes galore.  This is another one of those ideas where I only know how I want it to function without knowing how to accomplish it. Please consult actual engineers.
“Andy’s Playtime Theater”: Basically Mad Libs / Choose Your Own Adventure. This could either be a show or a ride, but I personally prefer the ride idea. If it were a show it would be part improv, involve guest participation, and have lots of giant props and gags. The Toy Story gang would mingle with the audience and be on stage at the same time. If it were a ride, guests can choose the path their vehicle takes. Andy narrates and has his toys act out a story. At several points, Andy offers two options on how the story can proceed. Stories would have wacky scenarios, like that of the opening scene in Toy Story 3. Multiple endings. Would have plenty of animatronics, and NOT just be screen-based.
“Giant Toy Playground”: Build with LEGO bricks the size of your head, climb actual towers made of alphabet blocks, play on a chessboard with human-sized chess pieces.
“I Spy Scavenger Hunt”: I absolutely loved looking at Walter Wick’s I Spy and Can You See What I See? illustrations for hours, and this activity is basically that come to life. I really want this land to be super detailed (and I mean absolutely LOADED) with lots of toy props hidden everywhere. The search criteria can change everyday for different routes. Winners can earn exclusive pins.
Pizza Planet restaurant: Customize your own pizza. Mix your own slushie. Gluten-free and vegan options. Also serves the Alien Mochi from Tokyo. Would follow the retro space building design of the movie .
“Build-A-Toy” shop: Inspired by the former Toys R Us Times Square location. Would include things like a Build-A-Bear Workshop, “Build Your Own Potato Head”, a LEGO play area, a nuiMOs plush modeling studio, and a mini indoor Ferris wheel.
Disney Dreamland Railroad Create-It-Land station: “Built” out of blocks and tinkertoys.
World Galleria

oh yeah, i wanted to mention a weird story where something happened to me when i lived on the street hanging around westminster.
it was early evening or so, and i was at the park near the bodega and laundromat near mcdaniel. i'm just sitting there, and i see a robotic fly land on my arm and just sit there for a minute. i'm staring at it trying to understand what the fuck it is. it flew away, and then the real form of the bug landed on my arm in the exact same spot. it was as if i saw like... a mechanical form and then an organic form.
also, one more story before heading to bed that confused me when i was homeless and hated in westminster. 😆
i had been admitted to the county hospital at one point, and i was taken to some private room they had in the ER, possibly across the hall from the psych pods? this woman came in and sat to my left side. i have no clue how to accurately describe this, but this is the best my memory can serve me to try and explain. it felt like she was repeatedly slamming my upper arm with a needle or something sharp over and over, like literally smacking my skin with force for what seemed like forever. can anyone explain to me what she was doing or at least make sense of it? i ended up falling asleep due to exhaustion and woke up in the room with a kind of hangover, but like one caused by a heavy sleep med. i don't think they were administering meds or anything, i was actually compliant. also, that would've been an injection. this was just some tool she had that I could not see being slammed into my upper arm over and over for a prolonged amount if time.
i have a bunch of weird experiences scattered around my blog, I think this one and @artist-kelico.
for the majority of my time out there being a weird, mentally ill person that needed to be contained, i was sober. i was unmedicated, but that has never formed hallucinations that appeared 100% physically there like the robotic drone fly thing.
in an effort to describe some common hallucinations i experience, a common one i experienced was where there would be a psychic presence and projection of a person, where I see them, and I am capable of interacting with them. then there are masked visuals that appear as if they are physically there about 50% or even more visible- a lot of these tend to be in the form of extraterrestrials. and then there is a static, glitchy, disturbing sensation, like being able to see a scene on the wall, or the clouds form into some mentally painful vision, this one makes me feel the least well.
i've also experienced a full-on cinema playing scenes in my mind for unnecessary amounts of time. sometimes, the intensity felt cool, and it was always generated without myself using my imagination. once i became ill, whenever i would try to use my mind in effort to focus on something pleasant, it was as if something wanted to take away my attempt to find comfort and they would display something disgusting to ruin my time. 😆 like i would try to imagine someone i miss and think of them for any type of dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin production, i don't know which chemical and I'm not going to google it, i'm ready to pass out. anyway, to cut it short and just get to the point, whatever was connected to me and interacted with me would always make them have explosive diarrhea literally spraying everywhere... and i remember how much it would piss me tf off because i couldn't control my mind without it being ruined with that same stupid fucking go to they had.
lol okay, bye.

Map of some important locations in AMC IWTV (no spoilers)
Tumblr media
Orientation
Lakeside (towards Lake Pontchartrain) is towards the top of the map; riverside (towards the Mississippi River) is towards the bottom of the map. Upriver (“above”) is to the left; downriver (“below”) is to the right. North is in the top right.
Locations
Vieux Carré / French Quarter: Historic centre of New Orleans. Limits at Rampart, Canal, the river, Esplanade. Unmarked.
1132 Royal Street: The Gallier House, an eclectic 1857 townhouse (now a museum operated by Tulane University) that Lestat, Louis, and Claudia live in. Marked in red.
Jackson Square: The park by St Louis Cathedral where Louis and the gang like to sit on that one bench. Marked in lavender.
French Opera House: Foremost opera house in NO until it burned down in 1919. Uptown lakeside corner of Toulouse and Bourbon. Marked in magenta.
Fauborg Tremé: Prominent then-middle-class integrated neighbourhood lakeside of the Vieux Carré (French Quarter). From the 1840s on it was mostly populated by free, mixed-race Creoles. Limits at Canal, Rampart, and Esplanade; continues north above the map. Outlined in green.
St Augustine Church: The first Catholic church in the US built to serve a predominantly POC (though ultimately integrated) congregation, founded for the free Creole population of Tremé in 1842. (Fun fact: the fairly wealthy free mixed-race population got together and bought pews on either side of the aisles for Catholic slaves to sit in.) Uptown lakeside corner of St Claude (now Henriette Delille) and Hospital (now Governor Nicholls). Marked in orange.
De Pointe du Lac family home: Probably near the church, riverside of Marais. The house itself is the Derbès mansion, which is a fair bit further north, but Louis says they live about half a mile away from him and Lestat, which places them around the 3rd precinct of the 6th Ward. (Fun fact: this is also where Homer Plessy lived in the 1890s). Unmarked.
St Louis Cemetery: Where the de Pointe du Lac family tomb is. The family has been in the city long enough that they’re probably buried in the old cemetery on Basin and St Louis. (My headcanon is that the Louis of the books, born in the 1760s, is AMC Louis’ great-great-grandfather, probably by Yvette, in a different timeline where Lestat futzes about in Europe for 150 years longer.) Unmarked, but labelled.
Saenger Theatre: Popular cinema and stage theatre built in 1927 (it’s also where the opera scenes in episode 2 were filmed, though they were set at the French Opera House). Downtown lakeside corner of Rampart and Canal. Marked in cyan.
Storyville: NO’s red-light district from 1897 to 1917. Limits at Robertson, Customhouse (now Iberville), Basin, St Louis. Outlined in a yellow box.
Frontages on Liberty Street: Where most of Louis’s Storyville businesses are. Marked in blue.
Frontages on Basin Street: Where the most profitable Storyville businesses are. (The most profitable block is labelled 124 here. Thomas Anderson owned the saloon on the corner of Basin and Customhouse; Lulu White, a mixed-race madam who should have been in the show, owned the brothel on the corner of Basin and Bienville.) Marked in red.
Azalea Hall: 202 Villere Street (if I’m not mistaken). Approximate location marked in violet.
Black Storyville: Segregated Colored red-light district that would have been created by Ordinance 4118 in March 1917. Limits at Robertson, Cleveland, Liberty, Canal. Outlined in a red box.
Ward boundaries: They don’t come up in the show, but they’re a fairly important part of NO culturally and geographically, so I’ve included them.
3rd Ward: Predominantly Anglo and White. Now the central business district. Upriver of Canal Street.
4th Ward: Upper part of French Quarter. Limits at Canal and St Louis.
5th Ward: Central part of French Quarter. Limits at St Louis and St Philippe.
6th Ward: Lower part of French Quarter. Limits at St Philippe and Esplanade.
7th Ward: Predominantly Anglo and Black. Downriver of Esplanade.
If anyone is interested to know where anything else is (or might be) or has any corrections, please let me know!
If you need floor plans or anything for Louis and Lestat’s townhouse, the Gallier house is extensively documented. I’ve included the floor plans below (the approximate location of the incinerator is marked in red; toilets are on the other side of that gate in the privy), but much more can be found here.

Stack Car Parking – An Advanced Vertical Parking Solution
Tumblr media
Finding car parking in any major city in India is nothing short of a headache. You spend a lot of time and fuel driving around to find that ideal spot to fit your car. And even if you find one, the problem isn’t solved. Parking your car on street parking means you are leaving it exposed to the elements, and reckless drivers can certainly get a scratch or have the bumpers dented.
India is one of the fastest-growing car markets in the world, and this problem will only exacerbate as our cities grapple with high traffic density. Luckily, we have a solution to this mess in the form of automated multi-parking systems.
What is an automated multi-parking system?
These advanced parking systems work on the principle of increasing available parking space. Multi-parking systems use cutting-edge technology to position cars safely in tight spaces. Aside from being space-efficient, automated multi-parking systems provide a host of advantages like hassle-free parking and total security for your car. Thus, such parking systems are a compelling solution to the congestion problem of our cities. What’s also good to know is that there are several options available to suit your needs. From Semi-automatic Parking Systems or Puzzle Parking systems that offer maximum flexibility and comfort to highly sophisticated Fully Automated Parking Systems that offer comprehensive, and highly customised premium parking solutions, there’s a system for everyone. Stack Parking Systems are also a great solution that doubles or even triples the space above or below ground.
Stack Parking Systems are ideal for tight spaces.
Stack Parking Systems are the ultimate solution if you are looking to increase parking space in a tight area. Even within Stack Parking Systems, Klaus offers multiple options to best fit your requirements.
Take, for instance, our SpaceVario CP-61 which helps double up the space. It does so at the ground level and on a platform above it. This system makes for a trouble-free parking experience allowing users quick retrieval and parking of their cars. This system is ideal for a variety of projects including residential buildings, shopping malls, and cinema halls.
You don’t want your cars taking up all the ground space? Fret not! The SpaceVario CP-U20 is a two-level stack parking system that is specifically designed for underground spaces. Here, the parking system is sunk underground by two levels, allowing for two cars to be buried underground, and thus make them invisible. It also comes with a top floor which is flush to the ground and can easily be driven on. This system is ideal for a courtyard setting of residential or commercial buildings. These are just two of the many Stack Parking Systems available from Klaus Multiparking.
Klaus Multiparking provides exceptional after-sales service.
Buyers are usually apprehensive about automated multi-parking systems, and that is understandable given the systems’ complex nature. However, at Klaus Multiparking, we not only design high-quality parking spaces but also offer reliable service, assuring our customers complete peace of mind. In addition to comprehensive maintenance, our Workshop On Wheels (WOW) van ensures a prompt response all around the year should, in a rare case, your system fail to function. It is worth noting that our systems have a 99.5% uptime, but we believe in going the extra mile for our customers.
Ease of use, excellent space management, and a painless ownership experience is what sets Klaus Multiparking’s Stack Parking System apart. Explore our range of Stack Parking Systems today!

Things to do with the family in Oxted
Oxted, with its traditional high street and country charm, is a wonderful place for families to live. Whether you fancy a quick dose of exercise, a full day out or a memorable meal, Oxted has a multitude of options to keep everyone happy. Located close to the M25, on a train line to London and nestled at the foot of the Surrey North Downs, there’s plenty of family fun on offer regardless of the weather.
Get back to nature
A fun experience filled with memories doesn’t cost the earth in Oxted. There are many options for free outdoor ventures where wellies rather than cash may be required. Long and short public footpath walks scatter the area surrounded by picturesque countryside and friendly wildlife.
Peter Rabbit Woods on Limpsfield Common, is a fabulous place for families to walk. Parking is available on Ridlands Grove, and there are a variety of paths leading into a wood full of dens. The area boasts charming dedications to Peter Rabbit and friends. A favourite is the Peter Rabbit post box, where children can post their letters and some will receive a reply. A natural den, Hedgehog Hall, is not to miss and try to spot the bike hiding high in the trees.
Park Life
Master Park is located in the centre of Oxted, and a few minutes walk from the high street and station. The expanse of green open space makes for a family day out. With ample space for picnics, an ice cream van in summer months and a playground that children never want to leave, it’s a great way to spend family time. Oxted lawn Tennis Club is positioned in Master Park and offers tennis lessons for all ages and also has three courts. A cricket club with a clubhouse hosts children’s cricket during the summer, and throughout the year the park hosts various events and the odd funfair.
Family treats
If the weather isn’t compatible with outdoor activities, then indoor family pursuits are available. On the high street, Splattercraft is a treat for birthday parties or one-off events. Let the children get creative with the various arts and craft activities, including pottery painting and slime making. If it’s a relax and unwind the family requires, Everyman cinema close to the station is the place to be. The boutique Tudor-fronted cinema offers three screens and hot and cold snacks and drinks and sensational sundaes.
Sport on the doorstep
In the heart of Oxted is Tandridge Leisure Centre. The fun pool boasts a water slide, water canons and regular wave sessions. Also in the centre are Bounce and Play sessions for the little ones and a variety of school holiday activities. Two miles from the centre of Oxted is Holland Sports on Mill Lane where fantastic playing fields and tennis courts encourage more outdoor family fun. The recent Trim Trail is popular for children to ride their bikes, go running or scoot. There’s also a small playground and local events.
All the fun of the farm
A popular day out for Oxted residents and those from further afield is Godstone Farm. It’s less than a ten-minute drive from Oxted and possesses a wide array of animals to view and pet. A vast outdoor area hosts climbing frames, zip wires, sandpits and various other options for mini thrill-seekers and the dinosaur walk is a must. Take a tractor ride around the farm and watch out for seasonal activities and theme days.
Time to eat
Oxted offers an abundance of places to eat with the family. Old Oxted has family-friendly pubs with outdoor areas, and the high street has other options. For a delicious breakfast or brunch, there’s Toast or Café Papillon which parents will also love. For a lunch treat, Brisk Burgers is a firm favourite for families with a children’s menu bursting with tasty options and delicious milkshakes.
Oxted is a fantastic place for families to live and have fun all year round. There are many activities to do without having to travel and others just a short drive from the centre. It’s an ideal place to bring up children and enjoy quality time together. The stunning new development, Courtyard Gardens is ideally situated in the centre of Oxted, close to numerous facilities and the station.

London Culture🇬🇧
Music🎤
The Royal Albert Hall hosts concerts and musical events, including The Proms which are held every summer, as well as cinema screenings of films accompanied with live orchestral music.
London is one of the major classical and popular music capitals of the world and hosts major music corporations, such as Universal Music Group International and Warner Music Group, and countless bands, musicians and industry professionals. The city is also home to many orchestras and concert halls, such as the Barbican Arts Centre (principal base of the London Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Chorus), the Southbank Centre (London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra), Cadogan Hall (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and the Royal Albert Hall (The Proms). The Proms, an eight-week summer season of daily orchestral classical music first held in 1895, ends with the Last Night of the Proms. London's two main opera houses are the Royal Opera House and the London Coliseum (home to the English National Opera). The UK's largest pipe organ is at the Royal Albert Hall. Other significant instruments are in cathedrals and major churches—the church bells of St Clement Danes feature in the 1744 nursery rhyme "Oranges and Lemons". Several conservatoires are within the city: Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Trinity Laban. The record label EMI was formed in the city in 1931, and an early employee for the company, Alan Blumlein, created stereo sound that year.
Abbey Road Studios in Abbey Road
London has numerous venues for rock and pop concerts, including the world's busiest indoor venue, the O2 Arena, and Wembley Arena, as well as many mid-sized venues, such as Brixton Academy, the Hammersmith Apollo and the Shepherd's Bush Empire. Several music festivals, including the Wireless Festival, Lovebox and Hyde Park's British Summer Time, are held in London.
The city is home to the original Hard Rock Cafe and the Abbey Road Studios, where the Beatles recorded many of their hits. In the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, musicians and groups like Elton John, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, Queen, Eric Clapton, the Who, Cliff Richard, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, T. Rex, the Police, Elvis Costello, Dire Straits, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, the Cure, Madness, Culture Club, Dusty Springfield, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Status Quo and Sade, derived their sound from the streets and rhythms of London.
London was instrumental in the development of punk music, with figures such as the Sex Pistols, the Clash and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood all based in the city. Other artists to emerge from the London music scene include George Michael, Kate Bush, Seal, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bush, the Spice Girls, Jamiroquai, Blur, the Prodigy, Gorillaz, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Dido, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Leona Lewis, Ellie Goulding, Dua Lipa and Florence and the Machine. Artists from London played a prominent role in the development of synth-pop, including Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, the Pet Shop Boys and Eurythmics; the latter's "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" was recorded in the attic of their north London home, heralding a trend for home recording methods. Artists from London with a Caribbean influence include Hot Chocolate, Billy Ocean, Soul II Soul and Eddy Grant, with the latter fusing reggae, soul and samba with rock and pop. London is also a centre for urban music. In particular the genres UK garage, drum and bass, dubstep and grime evolved in the city from the foreign genres of house, hip hop, and reggae, alongside local drum and bass. Music station BBC Radio 1Xtra was set up to support the rise of local urban contemporary music both in London and in the rest of the United Kingdom. The British Phonographic Industry's annual popular music awards, the Brit Awards, are held in London.

Leisure and entertainment🛍️
Leisure is a major part of the London economy. A 2003 report attributed a quarter of the entire UK leisure economy to London at 25.6 events per 1000 people. The city is one of the four fashion capitals of the world, and, according to official statistics, is the world's third-busiest film production centre, presents more live comedy than any other city, and has the biggest theatre audience of any city in the world.
Within the City of Westminster in London, the entertainment district of the West End has its focus around Leicester Square, where London and world film premieres are held, and Piccadilly Circus, with its giant electronic advertisements. London's theatre district is here, as are many cinemas, bars, clubs, and restaurants, including the city's Chinatown district (in Soho), and just to the east is Covent Garden, an area housing speciality shops. The city is the home of Andrew Lloyd Webber, whose musicals have dominated West End theatre since the late 20th century. Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap, the world's longest-running play, has been performed in the West End since 1952. The Laurence Olivier Awards–named after Laurence Olivier–are given annually by the Society of London Theatre. The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Opera, and English National Opera are based in London and perform at the Royal Opera House, the London Coliseum, Sadler's Wells Theatre, and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as touring the country.
Islington's 1 mile (1.6 km) long Upper Street, extending northwards from Angel, has more bars and restaurants than any other street in the UK. Europe's busiest shopping area is Oxford Street, a shopping street nearly 1 mile (1.6 km) long, making it the longest shopping street in the UK. It is home to vast numbers of retailers and department stores, including Selfridges flagship store. Knightsbridge, home to the equally renowned Harrods department store, lies to the south-west. Opened in 1760 with its flagship store on Regent Street since 1881, Hamleys is the oldest toy store in the world. Madame Tussauds wax museum opened in Baker Street in 1835, an era viewed as being when London's tourism industry began.
London is home to designers John Galliano, Stella McCartney, Manolo Blahnik, and Jimmy Choo, among others; its renowned art and fashion schools make it one of the four international centres of fashion. Mary Quant designed the miniskirt in her King's Road boutique in Swinging Sixties London. London offers a great variety of cuisine as a result of its ethnically diverse population. Gastronomic centres include the Bangladeshi restaurants of Brick Lane and the Chinese restaurants of Chinatown. There are Chinese takeaways throughout London, as are Indian restaurants which provide Indian and Anglo-Indian cuisine. Around 1860, the first fish and chips shop in London was opened by Joseph Malin, a Jewish immigrant, in Bow. The full English breakfast dates from the Victorian era, and many cafes in London serve a full English breakfast throughout the day. London has five 3-Michelin star restaurants, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea. Many hotels in London provide a traditional afternoon tea service, such as the Oscar Wilde Lounge at the Hotel Café Royal in Piccadilly, and a themed tea service is also available, for example an Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea served at the Egerton House Hotel, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed afternoon tea at One Aldwych in Covent Garden. The nation's most popular biscuit to dunk in tea, chocolate digestives have been manufactured by McVitie's at their Harlesden factory in north-west London since 1925.
There is a variety of annual events, beginning with the relatively new New Year's Day Parade, a fireworks display at the London Eye; the world's second largest street party, the Notting Hill Carnival, is held on the late August Bank Holiday each year. Traditional parades include November's Lord Mayor's Show, a centuries-old event celebrating the annual appointment of a new Lord Mayor of the City of London with a procession along the streets of the city, and June's Trooping the Colour, a formal military pageant performed by regiments of the Commonwealth and British armies to celebrate the King's Official Birthday. The Boishakhi Mela is a Bengali New Year festival celebrated by the British Bangladeshi community. It is the largest open-air Asian festival in Europe. After the Notting Hill Carnival, it is the second-largest street festival in the United Kingdom attracting over 80,000 visitors. First held in 1862, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show (run by the Royal Horticultural Society) takes place in May every year.
LGBT scene🏳️‍🌈
The first gay bar in London in the modern sense was The Cave of the Golden Calf, established as a night club in an underground location at 9 Heddon Street, just off Regent Street, in 1912 and "which developed a reputation for sexual freedom and tolerance of same-sex relations."
While London has been an LGBT tourism destination, after homosexuality was decriminalised in England in 1967 gay bar culture became more visible, and from the early 1970s Soho (and in particular Old Compton Street) became the centre of the London LGBT community. G-A-Y, previously based at the Astoria, and now Heaven, is a long-running night club.
Wider British cultural movements have influenced LGBT culture: for example, the emergence of glam rock in the UK in the early 1970s, via Marc Bolan and David Bowie, saw a generation of teenagers begin playing with the idea of androgyny, and the West End musical The Rocky Horror Show, which debuted in London in 1973, is also widely said to have been an influence on countercultural and sexual liberation movements. The Blitz Kids (which included Boy George) frequented the Tuesday club-night at Blitz in Covent Garden, helping launch the New Romantic subcultural movement in the late 1970s. Today, the annual London Pride Parade and the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival are held in the city.
Literature, film and television🎥
London has been the setting for many works of literature. The pilgrims in Geoffrey Chaucer's late 14th-century Canterbury Tales set out for Canterbury from London. William Shakespeare spent a large part of his life living and working in London; his contemporary Ben Jonson was also based there, and some of his work, most notably his play The Alchemist, was set in the city. A Journal of the Plague Year (1722) by Daniel Defoe is a fictionalisation of the events of the 1665 Great Plague.
The literary centres of London have traditionally been hilly Hampstead and (since the early 20th century) Bloomsbury. Writers closely associated with the city are the diarist Samuel Pepys, noted for his eyewitness account of the Great Fire; Charles Dickens, whose representation of a foggy, snowy, grimy London of street sweepers and pickpockets has influenced people's vision of early Victorian London; and Virginia Woolf, regarded as one of the foremost modernist literary figures of the 20th century. Later important depictions of London from the 19th and early 20th centuries are Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories. Robert Louis Stevenson mixed in London literary circles, and in 1886 he wrote the Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, a gothic novella set in Victorian London. In 1898, H. G. Wells' sci-fi novel The War of the Worlds sees London (and the south of England) invaded by Martians. Letitia Elizabeth Landon wrote Calendar of the London Seasons in 1834. Modern writers influenced by the city include Peter Ackroyd, author of a "biography" of London, and Iain Sinclair, who writes in the genre of psychogeography. In the 1940s, George Orwell wrote essays in the London Evening Standard, most notably "A Nice Cup of Tea" (method for making tea) and "The Moon Under Water" (an ideal pub). The WWII evacuation of children from London is depicted in C. S. Lewis' first Narnia book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1950). On Christmas Eve 1925, Winnie-the-Pooh debuted in London's Evening News, with the character based on a stuffed toy A. A. Milne bought for his son Christopher Robin in Harrods. In 1958, author Michael Bond created Paddington Bear, a refugee found in London Paddington station. A screen adaptation, Paddington (2014), features the calypso song "London is the Place for Me".
London has played a significant role in the film industry. Major studios within or bordering London include Pinewood, Elstree, Ealing, Shepperton, Twickenham, and Leavesden, with the James Bond and Harry Potter series among many notable films produced here. Working Title Films has its headquarters in London. A post-production community is centred in Soho, and London houses six of the world's largest visual effects companies, such as Framestore. The Imaginarium, a digital performance-capture studio, was founded by Andy Serkis. London has been the setting for films including Oliver Twist (1948), Scrooge (1951), Peter Pan (1953), One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961), My Fair Lady (1964), Mary Poppins (1964), Blowup (1966), A Clockwork Orange (1971), The Long Good Friday (1980), The Great Mouse Detective (1986), Notting Hill (1999), Love Actually (2003), V for Vendetta (2005), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008) and The King's Speech (2010). Notable actors and filmmakers from London include Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Michael Caine, Julie Andrews, Peter Sellers, David Lean, Julie Christie, Gary Oldman, Emma Thompson, Guy Ritchie, Christopher Nolan, Alan Rickman, Jude Law, Helena Bonham Carter, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Daniel Radcliffe, Keira Knightley, Daniel Kaluuya and Daniel Day-Lewis. Post-war Ealing comedies featured Alec Guinness, from the 1950s Hammer Horrors starred Christopher Lee, films by Michael Powell included the London-set early slasher Peeping Tom (1960), the 1970s comedy troupe Monty Python had film editing suites in Covent Garden, while since the 1990s Richard Curtis's rom-coms have featured Hugh Grant. The largest cinema chain in the country, Odeon Cinemas was founded in London in 1928 by Oscar Deutsch. The British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) have been held in London since 1949, with the BAFTA Fellowship the Academy's highest accolade. Founded in 1957, the BFI London Film Festival takes place over two weeks every October.
London is a major centre for television production, with studios including Television Centre, ITV Studios, Sky Campus and Fountain Studios; the latter hosted the original talent shows, Pop Idol, The X Factor, and Britain's Got Talent, before each format was exported around the world. Formerly a franchise of ITV, Thames Television featured comedians such as Benny Hill and Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean was first screened by Thames), while Talkback produced Da Ali G Show which featured Sacha Baron Cohen as Ali G. Many television shows have been set in London, including the popular television soap opera EastEnders.

The stuff you learn looking for other stuff.
So I'm looking for references for bathhouses of medieval Europe, I find this on https://www.mikkelaaland.com/bathing-in-medieval-europe.html : In its medieval heyday the bath house could be likened to a combination of today’s cinema, amusement park, pool hall, and popular street corner-one of the few places available for public recreation. Understandably, this led to some bawdy problems. In Dijon and the Valois Dukes of Burgundy, William Tyler describes the four étuves of fourteenth-century Dijon. Two were hot-water baths, and all four lacked privacy, thereby inviting all manner of disorder. In an effort to achieve a s semblance of public decency, separate baths were designated for men and women. Those who broke the rule (such as a monk from St. Benigne, who was caught in the company of two married women) were fined. However, with affluent and influential people lounging on couches, drinking hot spiced wine and enjoying the pleasures of gender, authorities were only half-hearted in their attempts to thwart prostitution and debauchery. This applied not only to Dijon, but to all of Europe. Soon the bawdy reputation of the baths eclipsed their primary function of bathing. The words étuve, badstübe and bordello took on new meanings. In one of Tyler’s accounts, “there was such a noise of yelling, quarreling, and jumping up and down it was amazing the neighbors should be able to stand it, justice ignore it, and the earth tolerate it.”
