Hades is an indie roguelite game released a couple years ago! and literally I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this game im being serious rn. The storyline? Fucks. The music? Fucks. The art? Fucks. The characters? I need to fuck everyone so bad. The gameplay? I've never been more addicted to dying. and this game is fully voice acted like WHAT?????

In the game you play as Zagreus, son of Hades, and youre trying to escape from your house because you hate your dad and also to find your mom. but theres also tons of other characters with their own sub-plotlines AND there's a dating mechanic. there's honestly so much goddang content and the writing + voice-acting is totally solid!!

i'm not much of a Gamer™ myself and im usually pretty shit (or mediocre at BEST) in action-heavy games, but even i found hades to be super enjoyable :oo it did took some getting used to in the beginning, but after getting the hang of it and because of the game's natural progression it does get significantly easier. I think the game is really well-balanced, and no matter what weapon or boon you use its still really fun.

if i remember correctly back when the trailer dropped it caused quite a stir on twitter/tumblr because it looked so good. And guess what!! they're making HADES 2 BABEY!!! but that comes out in early access next year i think.

so. i have a few ideas and unfortunately i can’t quite get them to gel together into one, so i may as well list them all

the mentor fukuchi option

fukuchi got him out of the research facility around the time he was 14-15ish, and, well. mentored him - taught him to fight and basically put in his head all these ideas about unifying the world

i imagine chuuya would be loyal to him, but still somewhat suspicious, esp when he can’t remember his past. speaking of

the bait option

idk if bait is quite the right word? but, like. the way sigma is kept in the doa - he’s promised something he simply can’t say no to. and that thing is information about his past, kept by fyodor who gives him small bits after every mission he completes - just enough to keep him going, but not enough to make him feel fulfilled and want to leave

i’m not sure where this would fit with the timing in his life, but i assume he gets to be in the sheep here, but not with the mafia. do the events of 15 simply not happen? does he simply say no to mori’s offer? maybe fyodor meets him on that cliff before he gets to dazai. idk.

i lied when i said there are a few ideas btw i think i only have these two. anyway the real interesting part isn’t the how and why but rather what he’ll be like when interacting with the members and such. starting with the simplest and getting more complicated as i go

(also an important detail i can’t seem to find a place to fit, but i assume the doa will have the means to nullify arahabaki before it kills chuuya, given how fukuchi has ties not only with the government but also the un, and given how meursault has cells that nullify abilities, one can assume such technology exists and in which case there’s no reason for the doa not to get their hands on it. also as i typed this i remembered sigma has this nullifying gun iirc. so they probably just have more and this is how they get arahabaki down when they need to. or maybe it’s implemented in him somehow, like they can remotely activate smth that’s constantly on him coughchokercough and “turn off” arahabaki without getting near him)

yeah no he doesn’t know about his existence. at least not at first? in the mentor fukuchi option i’m sure fukuchi will show him bram at some point, right before the time of the doa’s introduction in the main story. in this case, i feel like chuuya would honestly feel a sense of kinship with bram, both kind of used as a weapon of mass destruction, except unlike bram he can leave if he wants to (but... can he really? a bit harsh to think about, so he doesn’t like, go out of his way to interact with him)

like bram, def a lot of sense of kinship here, but more about the “i only remember the last few years of my life” thing. i feel like they could actually be friends even beyond that, tho. they’re really similar in a lot of ways and they could def bond over it, and i think having someone like chuuya around would make sigma feel better about the whole thing, which i think will make him even deadlier, more desperate to stay in this place he calls home. also, chuuya could back him up in the casino arc, and. um. yeah the hunting dogs will not survive that one

nikolai

nikolai finds out chuuya can technically fly and loses his shit. chuuya will become his new favorite person (but like, the way sigma is, not the way fyodor is). chuuya does not like that to say the least, but he does like to train with him sometimes bc nikolai can help him hone his reflexes

eventually nikolai would get tired of him tho imo? at least in the pre-canon part. chuuya would just be annoyed with his antics, no surprises, and it’ll get boring for nikolai. then he’ll find out abt the arahabaki thing and immediately chuuya is the most interesting person in the world again. he will definitely try to get him to use it constantly. he would love arahabaki sm.

during the actual story tho, after nikolai defects, i imagine he’ll want to free chuuya too. maybe he’ll steal his choker at some point, store it in his overcoat. “prove your free will by possibly be willing to die if you let arahabaki run loose” sort of thing, but actually it’s secretly “don’t be confined by what fyodor and fukuchi are doing to you. be your own person. never use arahabaki if you don’t want to”

fyodor

definitely the one holding the metaphorical leash over him, and chuuya knows it, and hates it. if we go by the “fyodor coming to recruit him at the end of 15′s events” route, he’ll hate how much the guy reminds him of dazai. also he thinks he’s creepy. still, he respects his plans, and does as he’s told for now, but he knows damn well not to trust fyodor. i imagine in said recruiting moment fyodor would probably kill some/all of the sheep to give him a sense of helplessness and like he has no other option but to go with him, so naturally chuuya would resent him for that

like p much everyone else, he has no idea what fyodor’s ability is, but he noticed pretty early that fyodor seems unkillable, so he doesn’t even try. something tells him that despite his own immense power, he won’t be able to kill fyodor, so he picks his battles carefully and never even tries (tho, maybe in the future. maybe i could offer more insight once we learn what fyodor’s ability is and what’s the deal with his supposed immortality)

i kinda of already got into it in the mentor fukuchi option, so as a tldr, chuuya respects him, is loyal to him, but is suspicious of him

however in the other option i feel like the knowledge of fukuchi being a part of a terrorist organization despite his position would kind of make him... bitter? also eternally curious if fukuchi was somehow involved/knew people who were involved in the arahabaki project somehow. he tries to keep his distance from him, just do what he’s told so he can get what he wants, without getting involved with things bigger than him

i imagine if anyone encourages him to use arahabaki a lot - for actual strategical reasons, not like nikolai who mostly thinks it’s cool - it’d be fukuchi (fyodor would not want to rely on smth this chaotic unless there’s no other choice, imo), which would also make chuuya resent him a bit.

also i wonder if fukuchi would ask him to infiltrate the hunting dogs with him in any of these options. could also be interesting, and also oddly fitting tbh.

"You should made a living out of this." He says as he inspect it in different angle then he saw your writing in the back. " Is this another part of your art? I don't understand it. Is this supposed to be person?"

"... It's my writing." You mumble. "Ahahaha ?say what now? Y-your writing... Pff--" He laugh his ass of as he hear you says that.

You sigh and let him laugh.

You look around not noticing certain purple fluff fluff went to your shoulder and look up to you adoringly. Looking far off of the distance. Yet you never seems to be able to see it still.

It been few months since you arrive in this place and time period. You just manage to produce your handmade paper after a while.

"Your hair looks very white." Toujou says as he point at your white hair that you realize turn white after you come to this time period. It's like old people white hair. It's probably because you went over the top with your wishes and one of the punishment.

"Like snow." He smile. You look at him and rolled your eyes. You went back to your drawing and you unconsciously draw a familiar grin of someone.

"...who's that?" Toujou peak at your work but you hide it. "Someone." You smile as you went outside so he won't Able to view it. The purple fluff follow you and peak at it. It start to shake again in glee it float around you and rub its fluff on your cheeks.

"Hey..." You turn your head to look at Toujou whos eyes widen as your lips touch the fluff which seems to be surprised at your action and fainted with it's friend went and try to reshape his puddle of joy in the floor. Yet you did not see any of that. Toujou held his mouth as he just bare witness you stealing a kiss from a hopeless fluff-- cough, a soul.

" What. Why are you looking at me like that." You saw his tearful gaze and disapproval look at you. You walk back to the table walking pass the purple fluff who regain it's shape and follow you again.

"MC..." He suddenly enter parent mode as he look at you. "What?" You mumble as you pick up another paper to draw something in. "You have to take responsibility! You just stole a kiss from it!" he then point at the purple fluff you cannot see.

"Hmm is this your screw lose again?" You cross your arms as you once again listen to his oddity. He keep saying about things you can't see. He keep insisting some fluff likes you for some reason.

" If the fluff you speak of have purple and blue in color. And name Mayoi. Then fine." You sneakers as you said that. It's clearly impossible --

"Oh my! How did you know those!" Toujou heard the purple fluff whisper to him it's name. "It's indeed name Mayoi, purple and blue in color!" He says which made you pause.

"Hey what did you say those fluff is again..." You suddenly felt you miss out something very important when you discovered that name.

"Don't you dare change the topic!" Toujou cross his arms in disapproval.

"I'm not changing the topic! I'm being serious!" You complained.

"I..." You wanna say something but keep it in. "Fine." You sneakers.

"Where's the fluff?" You look at Toujou who point at your cheeks where the purple fluff is. 'is this...' you try to held the fluff you cannot see in your palm, it float to your palm in glee.

'mayoi ayase... Does this means it's before that time...' you thought as you try to imagine what he looks in that soul form of his. "*Chuu." You smile as you kiss him. You felt your energy being drained but he slowly become visible in your eyes.

"Cute." You hug him.

"Oh wow. What did you do?" Toujou saw the fluff become vibrant in color when you kiss it just now. "Also you just kiss it again. Double responsibility!" He point out. "I know you don't have parental supervisor in your life. So I will tell you, kissing someone shouldn't be taken lightly!"

"If people drown. Then life guard shouldn't conduct CPR to save their life. Because it mean they'll be married to many people." You rolled your eyes at his words. You look down to Mayoi soul who seems to be very happy.

"I-..." He narrowed his eyes at you. He then frown and look at you. " They already unfortunate enough to not be born as human yet you still treat their first love and kiss so lightly?! How could you!" He start rudely pointing finger at you.

"...agh." you cover your ears as he start to nag you like a naggy old man.

Mayoi nudge you in comfort and you smile as you hug him softly again.

"Don't you dare cover your ears, young one!" He pulled your ears and start retelling stuff about this and don't to your ears. You felt you wanna punch someone but don't. You have respect to the elderly people... Well he is older than you in your time period.

"Stop yelling!" You complain as you try to run away from him. But he follow you like that annoying trumpet guy.

"COME BACK HERE. DO YOU NOT FEEL GUILTY? HOW COULD YOU! GET MARRIED TO THE FLUFF QUICKLY!"

he ordered you as he rudely point at you. You throw a middle finger at him and he smack you in the head with his fan. "Your being rude with that gesture again!"

"Stop it!" You rub your shoulder he hit. "I will dislocate your shoulder if you hit me again!" You threatened with a fist up. "Aw!" You once again hit by a fan. "Be thankful I'm not raising a slipper on you, child." He says.

"You--"

Suddenly in that moment you and him saw bright shooting down from the sky and landed in the forest near his property. An explosion of wave of wind comes and blow you both to the wall. The fluff around you all fly to the wall too.

"...w-what..." You felt your headache as it hit the wall far too hard and slowly lost consciousness.

"What?" Jun who look surprised and bewailed at Hiyori and Kaname who look at him with sparkling eyes. "YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT TOO?!" kaname held hiyori hand as he finally have another buddy who could understand MC alien-- cough beautiful unique handwriting.

"Hmm. Just a bit. Ibara have a bunch of those in his office..." He give back the entre to Kaname as he search an event in his phone. When the search load, his eyes narrowed.

LOONA: My perspective on the issue, years ago.

The story starts as these stories often do; a young up-and-coming agency, a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment, bound to a different mindset, starting off with a blank slate. It is single-minded and has no regard for the conformity of the usual K-Pop concepts.

The more power they obtain, the more power they can inflict upon the competition.

This agency conducts a special project, their first-ever group to be launched under their name. Twelve girls, gorgeous visuals, incredible storytelling, and new fancy art, are all coming in 18 months. They will be revealed, one by one, each with a personalized solo song and a single album until 12 members are now created. All under the name of what we all call "Idarui Sonyeo", which means Girl of the Month, or what I call "Project: LOONA"

And comes with its full debut on August 20th in the year 2018, charts are dominated by millions of numbers, hitting top numbers.

A month went by and nothing happened, sure there was no need to rush until it was half a year now, and no sign of LOONA on the streets. Hiatuses like these were normal for the public eye until news broke out and saw that the endless well of funds was dry. All are in a panic state, expecting disbandment.

LOONA was believed to have spent 9.9 billion Korean Won. In truth, however, is more of a fraud than an expense. Was stated in March of 2015, revealing trails of corrupt transactions. The investigation was conducted until the CEO of Polaris Entertainment and the company itself were kept on ice. Sure, it was years ago before LOONA debuted but the point still stands: they've borrowed billions of funds from various third-party organizations, leaving them in debt and putting themselves on ice for the second time around. Where was the money gone? No one knows on that time.

So, a severe financial crisis due to corruption, plus management conflicts contains a recipe for failure.

The disastrous fall starts with employee wages and previous external companies' payments. The question is, does this also apply to the members themselves? Yes, starting with Chuu. Saying as if it was groundless like ground beef, BlockBerry started to slowly remove her from the group schedule as this would hurt their rep. When it already has. And it's gone even worse during the 1st World Tour.

22 events and they'll have to travel around the world to perform for the Wuebits (international fans of LOONA) with little to no rest.

Until the unexpected happened; Chuu was down and out of the group, claiming that she had been mistreating staff and abusing the power as an idol. I mean... I laughed at this statement because I wish it was so true. Sure, she may be a bitch too hard to handle, but even then I know for a fact that it is not true at all.

So, if no employee wages were earned, and members were broken like glass... Where was the money gone? Cocaine for the CEO, I guess. (Author's note: I do not have evidence that the CEO is dealing drugs or has handled them. It is just one of the possible theories of seemingly endless possibilities. Drug policy in South Korea might be one of the strictest policies I've known, and the thought that occurred back then was that he used the money to get his own stimuli despite the legal law. The point still stands should the theory be rejected; corruption was anyway intended. "Then what was the money for if it's in the hands of the CEO?" IDK, RGB wheelchairs?)

9 of the members have filed an injunction and requested the termination of their contracts. 5 of them came out alive first, while the rest stayed in the basement. But time by time, they were released in their cells and started to survive on the barren depths of the K-Pop industry, doing their best to claw themselves back to where they were years ago.

And the rest... is history.

Istg if i were to achieve my dream art style i would draw dazai all day everyday you dont even understand. I’d probably start drawing the mf on my walls at some point because the way i would draw him similarly to spike from cowboy bebop is insane. Spike is one of the very few fictional characters that i am actually attracted to and despite the fact that i am not attracted to any bsd character i am so set on believing that dazai has a similar vibe to him. I can just feel it in my bones my skin my soul theres something about dazai that COULD be like spike. If i just tweaked him a liiiiiittle bit… the dazai i imagine in my mind would end up as another fictional crush (delusional) )

boycaca i think we're like the same person cause I LITERALLY AGREE SO HARD??!?!?!?!?!?! They twinked a lot of characters because bones decided to animate it differently than they had other mangas at that point. Usually, they were super good with staying on point with the style of the manga like noragami or vanitas or fma but GODDAMN THEY DROPPED THE BALL INTO ACID OR SOMETHING WITH BSD. harukawas style is so fluid and beautiful so maybe it would be harder for them to animate, but the extreme body changing I just hate. It's not only dazai ofc there's several other characters that got nerfed but dazai they sillified and twinkified and that has made me so sad.

I also just want to see them all lined up with their body types and SPIKE SPIEGEL FITS DAZAI SO WELL?? COWBOY BEBOP IS ONE OF MY ULT FAVS AND DAZAI AND SPIKE ARE WEIRDLY SIMILAR YOU GET IT!!!!!!!!!! The body type is broader shoulders and a slimmer waist (which tbh is just more of a masculine body type ik) is what dazai has but bones makes them look so...sick and skinny. I'm the world's biggest hater for them taking away the broad shoulders. like I think dazai has a natural classic beauty to him that makes him pleasant to look at because he's got an easy-to-digest face, but he is ultimately handsome. I have a few artists that have drawn him perfectly in my mind and it fits with his description of being a tall, lean, handsome man [look up @byuntaman on twt their dazai and chuu is perfect] I don't see him as very weak because there really is no basis to it when you are comparing him to chuuya. Chuuya's job was to bring the brawn and he was expected of that from the time of being with the Sheep, so naturally, when he's in the mafia he's going to keep up his reputation of being THE STRONG DUDE. It's unfair to compare Dazai to him tbh. Also, the pm trains their members, I'm guessing Dazai would go through that because Mori is not going to be willing to lose him from lack of prep. Yes, dazai is smart, but smarts don't get you out of a chokehold T_T.

I could rant about this all day long, but I think people just live with silly dazai too much and forget he's a capable person who can also defend himself and not just by manipulating the situation. It's a little far-fetched to think dazai can control EVERYTHING to the point of basically winning fights with his mind. like. no.
