Guo Changcheng sits slumped on the floor, his eyes closed and face wan with cold. Chu Shuzhi, crouched behind him, embraces him tightly, his black scarf wrapped like a blanket around them both. His face is grazed in several places, and his brow furrowed in worry. Their hair and clothes are tipped with frost, and the colours are blue-tinged and pale.

Chu Shuzhi/Guo Changcheng:

Classic grumpy x sunshine couple. they're both detectives and Chu Shuzhi is like the scary intimidating guy with mystical powers (in the show he's descended from aliens but in the novel he's like a sentient zombie?) and Guo Changcheng is the new rookie who is terrified of everything but has a heart of gold. Frustration at his incompetence turns into fondness at his endearingness. They make no sense as a pair to anyone else but they have to admit that the two of them somehow work well together against all odds. they're so entwined with each other that if you look up photos of "guardian chu shuzhi" the second result is just a picture of Guo Changcheng from the wiki. bonded pair do not separate.

Finally reading all of Guardian since volume 3 was delivered yesterday, and just like when I watched the drama, I am 1000000% enthralled once again by Chuguo. Like, I love the main romance, the story is so good, but the one that gets me every time is the gruff, angry tough guy and the small, soft kind one that just truly wants the best for everyone. My godddd, their dynamic is chef's kiss and I fall in love with it all over again every single time

I actually like better novel chuguo. And im tired of pretending like it’s the same BUT IT’S NOT. Chu Shuzhi is a motherfucker zombie king who is sick and tired of working in the agency (for years). A sentence he got because he KILLED a six year old. And baby guo changcheng is light! Literally his aura is brighter than no other and that’s the only reason they keep him for, hoping it works for something. And yes, csz grows soft for gcc, and gcc learns what csz did, but still wants to support him because he knows the other is kind.

A powerful zombie and a clumsy human. I need them.

Hi! I just posted a new fic, and I've seen others post theirs on here, so I thought I'd do the same!

Title: Flowers Ruined In Blood

Fandom: Guardian (TV 2018)

Ship: Chu Shuzhi/Guo Changcheng

Tags: Hanahaki Disease, Angst, Hurt/Comfort, sickfic

TW: Vomiting (I have emetophobia, so it's very vague vomit)

Summary: Chu Shuzhi finds out he has Hanahaki Disease when he coughs up petals in front of the reason he got it, because of course he fucking does.

Luckily, he was able to hide them before Changcheng could see them, but holy shit does he have some major avoiding to do, because beautiful things should never be covered in blood.
