Christianskirkens Drenge- & Mandekor sang endnu engang julen ind med en julekoncert d. 13. december. Koret, der blev stiftet af organist Poul Johansen i 1966, stillede i flot opstilling med tenor, baryton og basstemmer, så hele det forventede spektrum var flot dækket ind. På denne dejlige, men kølige aften, hvor sneen lå blidt på jorden, kom koret omkring, tyske kantater og engelske carols og…

Christianshavn, l’opéra, la street-food and the musée de l’architecture...

Ce matin je dois affronter le froid danois, pour me rendre dans le quartier de Christianshavn. Tout d’abord je prend le bateau et je commence mon nouveau périple. En premier lieu, je visite les rues principales et deux magnifiques églises la Christianskirken et la Vor Prelers Kirke qui offre une vue sur toute la ville grâce à sa tour, mais malheureusement à cause du vent trop violent, celle-ci était fermée au public. Malgré le froid, je visite aussi Christiania le quartier très connu pour ses vendeurs de drogues. Je n’y suis pas restée longtemps, mais ce quartier est très beau pour tous les graffs que l’on peut y voir.

This morning, I have to fight the cold air of Denmark and I went to Christianshavn. First of all, I took the boat the start the day. I started to visit two beautiful churches, the Christianskirken and the Vor Prelers Kirke which offers you a great view of the all city, thanks to a high tower but this day it was closed because of the wind. Even if it was really cold outside, I went to Christiania which is famous for its drugs dealer, but it’s also beautiful thanks to the graffitis.

Avant midi, je suis allée au musée de l’architecture et je suis rentrée chez Ieva pour manger au chaud et prendre mon manteau. J’en ai profité pour me reposer un peu et finalement je suis ressortie. Je suis allée d’abord admirer le magnifique opéra, puis je suis allée à la street-food avant de visiter le musée d’art moderne où j’ai pu voir une magnifique exposition. Puis j’ai rejoins Ieva pour aller manger au restaurant du musée de l’architecture qui offre une vue magnifique sur le canal. Nous avons dîné avant de rentrer chez eux, pour se détendre à la maison devant la télé et avec un petit cocktail délicieux.

Before noon, I went to the architecture museum and I went back to Ieva’s house to have lunch and take my warm coat. I rest a bit before I went to Christianshavn again. I went to see the beautiful opera and the street-food and then I went to the modern art museum where I saw a great exhibition. Later I met Ieva to go to the restaurant of the architecture museum, which offers a nice view of the sea. We had dinner and went back home where we relaxed in front of the TV with a delicious cocktail.

I am not the biggest fan of the cross-shaped peepholes in the tower - but the light, the modest but well designed details and the justapositions of materials and surfaces are just me.

En fyldt Christianskirke så, lyttede og nynnede med på violinklovnen, som han kaldte sig selv, og det festfyrværkeri han leverede af historier og musik fra dengang til nu.
