Daily Doodles- Day 99- 23/07/24
I've been wanting to share this channel for a long while and I've finally gotten the courage to 😮‍💨🙏
The Master's Voice Prophecy Blog
I was watching one of her videos and what she said inspired this doodle. Prophets are alive and (sort of) well in the 21st century.
A reminder of this ends up on the wrong side of Tumblr: I don't 'debate' or argue on the internet! If you try me, you will be arguing with the wall, because I won't be here for you to 'debate' with.
God bless you, because we all really need some blessings in these times.
The tag for this is #agdoodles

by Mark Creech | Winnie Byanyima — Ugandan politician, human rights activist, and diplomat — said: “Conflict and callous politics drive famine.” Famine is intense suffering, and the people who die from it die slowly and incrementally. In the mid-1990s, there was a terrible famine in North Korea, and more than a million people died...

RECOGNISING THE FINGER OF GOD!
RECOGNISING THE FINGER OF GOD
Exodus 8:16-19

In "the finger of God,” we understand it as a metaphor for God’s supernatural power that directly influences events in this world. But the question arises, do we discern the finger of God in our own lives?
Being cognizant of the “finger of God” in our lives means being conscious of His presence and His work in our everyday experiences. The idea of God’s fingerprint also extends to personal salvation. As stated in Galatians 6:17, we carry the mark of Christ, a mark drawn by the finger of God. When someone places their faith in Christ as their Savior, God’s mark is imprinted on their life, signifying that they belong to Him.
However, do we truly recognize the finger of God in our lives? God’s influence is evident in our lives daily, both physically and in other ways. But do we know what signs to look for to identify His presence?
God is inherently good, and no event in our lives, regardless of how challenging or tragic, can alter this truth. Unfortunately, some Christians turn away from God during times of distress because they fail to recognize God’s influence in the events of their lives, or they choose to believe that God doesn’t allow either good or bad things to happen depending on the context. They fail to see His goodness because they aren’t looking for it, and even when it’s right in front of them, they fail to recognize it because it doesn’t meet their expectations. If we truly believe and accept Romans 8:28, then we know that God’s influence is present in all things, even in negative circumstances, working to bring about good.
Can you now identify the finger of God in certain areas or events in your life?
Psalm 65:2 tells us that God answers everyone’s prayers. When we pray and see those prayers answered, it’s a clear indication of God’s intervention in our lives. After all, it’s God’s hands, His fingers, that orchestrate the events and miracles we ask for. When we pray, we should anticipate seeing God’s finger at work and recognize it in response to our prayers.
James 5:14-16 implies the finger of God, as He is the healer, meaning the healing virtue flows from His finger to the hands of the elders to bring healing.
God desires to bless and favour His people. Some of these blessings and favours are miraculous. When we experience unexplained blessings, favour, or opportunities, it could be the “finger of God” at work in that situation.
Life is expected to have trials, tribulations, afflictions, and wilderness seasons. But during these storms, we should seek the peace and tranquillity of the Lord to see us through: Experiencing peace during trials and tribulations is a sign of God’s comforting presence and His finger.
The finger of God convicts us of sin and is often God’s way of guiding us back to righteousness.
Our spiritual growth: If you find yourself growing in faith, love, and understanding of God’s word, it’s a sign of His work in your life.
The finger of God is always on us for protection. We’ve been shielded from harm or danger that we may not even be aware of, and it usually is God’s protective hand.
Our healing, both physical and emotional, is often attributed to the finger of God.
It is also the finger of God that guides us, leading us to make the right decisions or actions.
Recognizing the finger of God requires faith and spiritual discernment. It’s about seeing beyond the physical and acknowledging the spiritual forces at work. Regular prayer, meditation, and reading of the scriptures can help enhance your spiritual discernment.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, guide me to be vigilant, to recognize and acknowledge your influence operating in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom

So I’ve been enjoying the Disney vs. DeSantis memes as much as anyone, but like. I do feel like a lot of people who had normal childhoods are missing some context to all this.
I was raised in the Bible Belt in a fairly fundie environment. My parents were reasonably cool about some things, compared to the rest of my family, but they certainly had their issues. But they did let me watch Disney movies, which turned out to be a point of major contention between them and my other relatives.
See, I think some people think this weird fight between Disney and fundies is new. It is very not new. I know that Disney’s attempts at inclusion in their media have been the source of a lot of mockery, but what a lot of people don’t understand is that as far as actual company policy goes, Disney has actually been an industry leader for queer rights. They’ve had policies assuring equal healthcare and partner benefits for queer employees since the early 90s.
I’m not sure how many people reading this right now remember the early 90s, but that was very much not industry standard. It was a big deal when Disney announced that non-married queer partners would be getting the same benefits as the married heterosexual ones.
Like — it went further than just saying that any unmarried partners would be eligible for spousal benefits. It straight-up said that non-same-sex partners would still need to be married to receive spousal benefits, but because same-sex partners couldn’t do that, proof that they lived together as an established couple would be enough.
In other words, it put long-term same-sex partners on a higher level than opposite-sex partners who just weren’t married yet. It put them on the exact same level as heterosexual married partners.
They weren’t the first company ever to do this, but they were super early. And they were certainly the first mainstream “family-friendly” company to do it.
Conservatives lost their damn minds.
Protests, boycotts, sermons, the whole nine yards. I can’t tell you how many books about the evils of Disney my grandmother tried to get my parents to read when I was a kid.
When we later moved to Florida, I realized just how many queer people work at Disney — because historically speaking, it’s been a company that has guaranteed them safety, non-discrimination, and equal rights. That’s when I became aware of their unofficial “Gay Days” and how Christians would show up from all over the country to protest them every year. Apparently my grandmother had been upset about these days for years, but my parents had just kind of ignored her.
Out of curiosity, I ended up reading one of the books my grandmother kept leaving at our house. And friends — it’s amazing how similar that (terrible, poorly written) rhetoric was to what people are saying these days. Disney hires gay pedophiles who want to abuse your children. Disney is trying to normalize Satanism in our beautiful, Christian America.
Just tons of conspiracy theories in there that ranged from “a few bad things happened that weren’t actually Disney’s fault, but they did happen” to “Pocahontas is an evil movie, not because it distorts history and misrepresents indigenous life, but because it might teach children respect for nature. Which, as we all know, would cause them all to become Wiccans who believe in climate change.”
Like — please, take it from someone who knows. This weird fight between fundies and Disney is not new. This is not Disney’s first (gay) rodeo. These people have always believed that Disney is full of evil gays who are trying to groom and sexually abuse children.
The main difference now is that these beliefs are becoming mainstream. It’s not just conservative pastors who are talking about this. It’s not just church groups showing up to boycott Gay Day. Disney is starting to (reluctantly) say the quiet part out loud, and so are the Republicans. Disney is publicly supporting queer rights and announcing company-supported queer events and the Republican Party is publicly calling them pedophiles and enacting politically driven revenge.
This is important, because while this fight has always been important in the history of queer rights, it is now being magnified. The precedent that a fight like this could set is staggering. For better or for worse, we live in a corporation-driven country. I don’t like it any more than you do, and I’m not about to defend most of Disney’s business practices. But we do live in a nation where rights are largely tied to corporate approval, and the fact that we might be entering an age where even the most powerful corporations in the country are being banned from speaking out in favor of rights for marginalized people… that’s genuinely scary.
Like… I’ll just ask you this. Where do you think we’d be now, in 2023, if Disney had been prevented from promising its employees equal benefits in 1994? That was almost thirty years ago, and look how far things have come. When I looked up news articles for this post from that era, even then journalists, activists, and fundie church leaders were all talking about how a company of Disney’s prominence throwing their weight behind this movement could lead to the normalization of equal protections in this country.
The idea of it scared and thrilled people in equal parts even then. It still scares and thrills them now.
I keep seeing people say “I need them both to lose!” and I get it, I do. Disney has for sure done a lot of shit over the years. But I am begging you as a queer exvangelical to understand that no. You need Disney to win. You need Disney to wipe the fucking floor with these people.
Right now, this isn’t just a fight between a giant corporation and Ron DeSantis. This is a fight about the right of corporations to support marginalized groups. It’s a fight that ensures that companies like Disney still can offer benefits that a discriminatory government does not provide. It ensures that businesses much smaller than Disney can support activism.
Hell, it ensures that you can support activism.
The fight between weird Christian conspiracy theorists and Disney is not new, because the fight to prevent any tiny victory for marginalized groups is not new. The fight against the normalization of othered groups is not new.
That’s what they’re most afraid of. That each incremental victory will start to make marginalized groups feel safer, that each incremental victory will start to turn the tide of public opinion, that each incremental victory will eventually lead to sweeping law reform.
They’re afraid that they won’t be able to legally discriminate against us anymore.
So guys! Please. This fight, while hilarious, is also so fucking important. I am begging you to understand how old this fight is. These people always play the long game. They did it with Roe and they’re doing it with Disney.
We have! To keep! Pushing back!

“People are inherently terrible” no!!! Have you ever seen a child wait for their friend while they tie their shoelaces? Have you ever known someone who would bring hurt squirrels and rabbits and mice to the nearest vet just so it doesn’t suffer? Have you seen someone grieve? Have you ever read something that hit your heart like a freight train? Have you looked at the stars and felt an unexplainable joy? Have you ever baked bread? Have you shared a meal with a friend? Have you not seen it? All the love? All the good? I know it’s hard to see sometimes, I know there’s pain everywhere. But look, there’s a child helping another up after a hard fall. Look, there’s someone giving their umbrella to a stranger. Look, there’s someone admiring the spring flowers. Look, there’s good, there’s good, there’s good. Look!!!!

kids who werent raised christian being like "lol baptising children is whack if they tried to do that to me i would start doing things to make it look like i was possessed" no you would not. you would bask in the pride and approval coming from the adults around you and you would quietly wait your turn because you were told from birth that sinning sends you to hell and baptism is The Promise that youre dedicating your life to jesus that youve had hyped up for years and watched other people be fawned over as they cry happy tears about it and you do NOT want to fuck up your One Big True Promise To Love Jesus Forever So You Don't Get Tortured For Eternity when you are literally 8 years old. im begging yall to remember its a thousand times easier to see the church's bullshit for what it is when you're not actively in the church. eight year old you is not thinking about trying to fight back against an oppressive religious group indoctrinating children because You Are The Children Being Indoctrinated. stop acting like you would've magically known better if it were you.

Because God is a Promise Keeper.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is my boyfriend, Max— the guy who God had spoken to me about in the secret place and has been preparing me for for the past 3 years. This is who God has given me and he’s a pretty awesome bean. What God has spoken, what God has promised, will come to pass. None of His words will ever return to Him void, but will accomplish what He pleases and will prosper wherever He has sent it in the earth.
In April 2020, God told me I’d be getting married, and that year was full of many confirmations, though I didn’t yet know who my husband was.
In 2021, God told me who my husband was (Max), but I wavered in faith. I believed, then I doubted. Believed, doubted. Believed, doubted. And that doubt led to confusion, which God is not the author of.
In March 2022, full of frustration, I prayed to God about this one last time: “God, I’m tired of being confused. Please just make it clear to me. If Max is my husband, simply tell me yes or no; let the first page that I open to be “yes” or “no.” With confidence and desperation, I grabbed a Bible from my grandma’s closet, and with my eyes closed, opened it up. When I opened my eyes, the very first word that my eyes landed on was “yes” (Job 13 message translation). It was a little scary, but God left me amazed. From that day forward, I believed without wavering.
In March 2023, Max asked me to be his girlfriend, and I of course said yes.
Now it’s only a matter of time until we’re married just as God said we would be. When will it happen? That, I don’t know. But I believe God and I believe that I will see a performance of everything He’s ever promised me. Soon there will be a ring on my finger and I’ll be able to tell my full testimony of what God has done in my life regarding the promise of a kingdom marriage.
Who knows, maybe this time next year, I’ll be married.
I just wanted to share this for anyone who has been and still is waiting for God’s promise to come to pass in their life. He’s such a faithful God. It may seem like it’s been forever or that you’re never going to come out of the waiting room, but God is not slack concerning His promise, nor has He forgotten. Have faith in God and take advantage of your time in the waiting because God is still making the necessary arrangements and is adding in the last few touches. And in due time, you’ll see that the wait was worth it all along, because what God is about to do in your life will be exceeding abundantly above all that you could ask or think.
Isaiah 55:10-11 | KJV
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Ephesians 3:20-21 | KJV
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

* * Two things :
#1.) If someone is going to move into an area , and there's
an aversion to noise at certain hours , it would be
prudent to pay attention to what is going on
around that new place of residence during those hours.
#2.) Also , don't expect an entire neighborhood to change
their ways in order to accommodate the one thing that
changed - one new resident .
~ * ~
Sometimes it's best to stand up for keeping things
the way they have been ; and quit treating older
things like they should get out of the way.
The " get-rid-of-the-old-ways " mentality can
do some long lasting harm . Let's be careful
with our choices. It's okay to treasure things
that have been long lasting , and a blessing. :)

Okay but let's be honest, there is no such thing as a "Christian witch" those two words are polar opposites and should never be in the same sentence. Anyone claiming to be a "Christian witch" is just straight up lying. Chakras are not Christian they are based, as OP said in Hinduism and they are a pagan practice.
"Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.'
Deuteronomy 18:10‭-‬14 NIV
Our God is against sorcery and witchcraft and anyone who lives by those practices does not live by the Word of God. As Christians we are told that people will try to deceive us by claiming to speak from God when in fact they only speak from the devil. Although it is possible to be swayed in the wrong direction by these false teachers a surefire way to stand against them is by keeping the words of God close in your heart.
It took me less than 5 minutes to find the verses listed above along with many similar ones because I knew immediately what the Bible said about witch's.
Guard your hearts and minds against the schemes of the devil, he is always searching for ways to deceive the people of God.
Christian tiktokers are now claiming chakras are tied to Jesus and come from christianity.
Idk what Christian needs to hear this but....First of all, yall fucking steal everything from other religions and claim it your own but SECOND they come from Hinduism. Which predates jesus and christianity. It's not biblical, it's not Christian, and it's not yours. Hinduism has been around for a LOT longer than christianity. It's not new age, it's not modern. Please I'm begging you, stop.
Third, why is it that if jesus is behind the magic, its fine... but if it's the same spell or same sort of magic (ya know, the thing you stole it from) then its evil. Makes no god damned sense to me.
Like yall....idc if you're a christian witch. I really dont. Just PLEASE do not claim certain practices as your own/yall came up with it when it comes from somewhere else. It's bad enough that ya deem all pagans as evil and then steal our (meaning pagan, a broad term, including the open and closed practices) stuff and call it good under 'Jesus'. Gods.
