Having seen multiple Sentai now, I can honestly say Chojin Sentai Jetman is pretty overrated; and Gai is the most overrated part of it.
I get why people like jetman, I just don't think it's as good as people say. None of the characters are particularly interesting or even enjoyable to watch, with the exception of Commander Aya Odagiri the one good character in the show lol.
The ending is also stupid af, Gai bleeding to death for not getting medical attention for a minor stab wound makes no sense, he should've died fighting Piccolo Shining Dragon (Radiguet)
But seeing the Jetman episode of Gokaiger made me hate Gai more. Him hitting on Luka was gross, him saying women 'belong to him' was worse, and then he called Joe a fag.
