Two old friends reunited in afterlife…

see if I were to write a bee sister centric fic I'd have Chloe become a temporary right hand woman of Lila or whatever villain is present and give her the peacock miraculous while Zoe gets the Bee. They're enemies, always have been and always will be. Well, that's what Chloe thinks anyways. She's done. She's gone way too far and people were right, she was evil. Who cares if she was just fifteen, people like her didn't deserve forgiveness. Worthless, unexceptional and unkind people like her.

So when she and Zoe fight during a seemingly normal fight to obtaining the miraculous, she doesn't think much of it. Then she did.

Something happened. She didn't know what and judging from the hero's expression they didn't know either. There was this thing, maybe a sentimonster? But it looked different. It wasn't a shade of blue like the usual sentimonster and Chloe doesn't remember making it. It was black but when Ladybug had broken what they thought was an akumatized object, it just vanished.

It almost had Zoe. Almost.

So maybe Chloe was evil and rotten and didn't deserve anything good to come her way. But she remembered her father. Her father, who despite abandoning her to her mother, had at least tried to be there for her at some point. And Zoe is his daughter now so...

It was okay. She saved her once, blocked off an attack that was meant for her supposed half sister. A silent thank you to her father for everything. It wasn't anything important and she'd just brush it off if Lila asked. Right now she needs to get back.

Zoe is dazed that night. Chloe saved her. Her sister saved her. She took an attack meant for her and as far as they know, heck, as far as she believed they were enemies. But Chloe saved her when it was a perfect chance to get the bee miraculous back and have an upper hand. Chloe, her half sister but sister nonetheless, saved her. Even if it was once. Even if she didn't know if it was for her or because apparently a new enemy is on the horizon.

Chloe saved her.

And maybe, she can still save Chloe too.

And I'd give this a title of 'Hopeful Misunderstanding' cause that's literally it. Hope comes from the most unexpected of places. Also this is kinda Chlonette and Zoegami if I ever do write it up.

Zoé renounces Pollen and returns the Bee Miraculous to Marinette because she knows she and Chloé are in love with each other:

Zoé: "Pollen, I renounce you."

Marinette: (Gasp) "But Zoé,"

Zoé: "I know you and Chloé have feelings for each other and her being Queen Bee was her only way for you both to have a relationship, and if it makes you both happy, then I'm happy."

Marinette: "But what about,"

Zoé: "I'll be fine, Marinette. I'll get over my crush on you and move on. I just want my sister and beloved to be happy; and if retiring as Vesperia is the way to do it, then so be it."

(Marinette thinks for a minute, but then remembers how much Chloé means the world to her. She then smiles and hugs Zoé.)

Marinette: "Thank you so much for your honesty, Zoé. Chloé will be happy to know that her own sister gave up being a hero for her own happiness."

Zoé: "Just make sure I'm the second Maid of Honor at the wedding, will you?"

Marinette: (chuckles) "Will do Zoé, will do."

Canon Felix and Kagami. Don't get me wrong, Fanon Felgami is awesome, but seriously. Canon? The girl who values integrity and being forthright above all else and the boy who is *still* lying and deceiving people after his 'turn to good'? The only way their friendship makes any sense is if he has her amok still.

Zoé & Marinette. Fanon has long held Mari being a bit bi. Alyanette, Marigami, Chlonette, you name it! S5 set things up for a marigami confession that would have had actual narrative weight, but then did a swerve and threw Zonette at us as a toothless 'Token Gay ship that has no chance because we've already confirmed adrienette and there's zero angst because these two barely interacted prior'

Zoe being sapphic is fun and fine, but the way Zoenette was done? It was simply to shut fanon up.

Chloe Bourgeois for character breakdown meme!

How I feel about this character: My mean daughter who deserved better. I definitely feel there's a double standard with how Chloe and Lila got treated vs Felix.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Adrien, Felix, Alya, Kagami for sure. I'm not into Chlonette but I can see the vision. And I like Lukloe mostly just for the aesthetic. And then there are some rarepairs like Chlonino, Chlolene or Chloleka that I haven't seen much of but I can vibe with.

...I ship her with a lot of people.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Adrien again! And Felix. And my version of concept!Chloe/Alix that only exists in my head.

My unpopular opinion about this character: At this point I don't know if wishing she got a redemption arc is an unpopular opinion or not. The fandom is so split. Some think she might still get one (I don't. Unless Zag gives her one in the movies? Which would be neat. Pull a Sunset Shimmer with her)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Outside of redemption arc I wish her friendships with Adrien and Sabrina mattered more. Like sometimes the show stated Adrien didn't have friends, sometimes that Chloe was his only one. Sometimes Sabrina and Chloe are friends, but then Sabrina is just a punching bag/slave. Please, I just want more friendship 🙏

My favorite Chloe OTP! On the surface, Chlonette might just look like your basic cute crackship or possible redemption/reformation story for Chloe, but thanks to this Chlonette server I'm in (with these awesome people I might add), Chlonette is a lot more complex and has more layers than you think. My reasons for shipping it are a possible Chloe redemption/reformation, Chloe can of course treat Marinette better, enemies to lovers (though in my case, it’s enemies, to hesitant friends, to friends and THEN to lovers), they generually look interesting together, and Chloe already has (or did have) a crush on Ladybug, so that's to assume if she had an crush on Ladybug, she might be her type.

Also, before S4-5, I saw Marinette (other than Miss Bustier, Sabrina, and possibly Adrien) being really the only one who truly understands Chloe. I feel that Mari being Ladybug is more prominent when it comes to this. Also, I feel that Marinette and Chloe are a lot alike when you really think about it when you take away their different upbringings. People dislike these two together for obvious and understandable reasons (the way Chloe canonically treats Marinette, Chloe's a bully, Marinette gave up on Chloe etc.), but I personally think it has potential (or at least it did, until canon/Astruc ruined it).

Adribrina isn't a bad ship. Two friends of mine got me invested in this ship (and it also comes from the fact that I also ship Lukabrina). From what I’ve gathered, people ship because it’s “cat and dog” shipping and the lack of interactions these two had in the series. So basically it completely resonates from potential, which is understandable. I also think it would be a bit interesting to see these two interact.

Sorry. I know it’s a copout, but I legitimately feel REAL indifferent on Bustier right now. Her teachings at first came off as wholesome and understandable, but once you really look into it, not only she’s an enabler to Chloe’s bad behavior, but throws her actual good student under the bus and doesn’t even bother to take up for her against Lila (Ladybug episode). Then later ends up throwing Chloe under the bus too once she starts to “finally understand Chloe’s true nature”. Which I GET the intent behind this, but I don’t like it because SHE’S one of the many adults who enabled her in the first place, but now she wants to give up on her!?

“BUT Chloe got her fired even though she’s pregnant!” It doesn’t matter? I’m not trying to sound cruel here (because that really is messed up), but I just think as the grown adult who choose to enable Chloe and gave her the benefit of the doubt (compared to what she did for her other students btw), does she really have the right to bail on her now??? I’m not trying to sound insensitive or unsympathetic of Bustier’s situation, but I just think it’s not all on Chloe. I don’t think Miss Bustier is a bad person, but some of the stuff she does is seriously questionable.

I didn’t necessarily “hate” Andre in the past, but now? He’s a corrupt politician and a bad father who gave up on his own daughter AND replaced her with a girl who’s not even 💯 his. I also hate how he’s somehow more sympathetic than the 14 year old girl who he failed to raise property. It’s so dumb that it’s constantly said that Chloe is “evil” because she doesn’t want to lose her privileges, but who GIVES HER those privileges in the first place??? So that automatically falls on her PARENT.

another thing I like about Chlonette is the fact one of them gives too much, and one of them takes too much.

Marinette gives too much of herself to other people, be it as her or Ladybug. She gives and gives and gives. It's concerning sometimes but it's kind of second nature to her.

Give. Be kind. Help.

Meanwhile, Chloe takes and takes. Takes a lot of power, takes a lot of time from her friends, takes a lot of things she can't promise. It's how she grew up, it's how she's taught to survive.

Take. Be one step ahead. Win.

But then it's them facing each other. Marinette tries giving and Chloe tries taking. But what could Marinette give to her rival? Pastries? She has money for that. Gifts? She could just order her butler. Friendship? She's...not sure but she tries.

Chloe tries to take it. She can't.

She tries again but it keeps slipping off her fingertips. She's getting frustrated, what was she doing wrong?! She was doing everything the people around her taught and did and yet she couldn't take what Marinette was giving. She couldn't keep it.

Marinette is getting agitated. Chloe isn't taking what she's giving and it feels wrong and strange. So she tries again and again, and again.

There's a boundary and suddenly they're more distant than close.

Chloe starts giving, but only to her. Only to Marinette. She starts giving what she has which she's aware isn't much. She looks down at her hands and she wished she wore her heart more on her sleeve.

And Marinette? She takes what she's given. She takes and takes. Even if it's small, even if it hurts a bit.

That ship you ship that no one else ships and it'll never be canon but who cares?

For me, this is Adribrina. That's Adrien Agreste and Sabrina Raincomprix.

It started out innocently enough! I wrote a fun one shot where Cat Noir, Miss Hound, and Purple Tigress play a Miraculous game of tag for training. Then I wrote a one shot for Adrien and Sabrina, a fluffy friendship sort of thing. Then I built off that for a chapter fix where they would part ways and she would be a wingman for adrienette... only it didn't happen. Adribrinna were just a couple of wonderful goobers. Adrientte misfired (Ladynoir still strong if Platonic!) and the backup-Lukanette for Marinette turned into Chlonette. Ooops. Now it's my longest running AU.

I just love these two together. Sabrina is actually the YA protagonist character, only without the wink and a nod. She's actually clumsy, actually put upon, actually not liked by many. She means well, tries hard, and pays attention but it hasn't gotten her far. Adrien *pays attention*. Sure he's built up life skills living in a horrible family environment, but it works to his advantage here. Sabrina is desperately earnest in her desire to please(from her own damage) and Adrien is aware enough to feel that and want to be worthy of so much devotion. They're a feedback loop of support and snuggles.

Writing for them just makes me happy, even if the general reaction to the ship is 'That's a ship?'

Summary: Chloé and Adrien compete for Ladybug’s affection.

Chapter 6: A confession and a revelation.

“Good evening, my Lady!” Chat Noir greeted Ladybug cheerfully. He didn’t want to make a big deal about the fact that Chloe had discovered his identity. There was no need to worry her, after all. As long as Chloe kept her promise (and for all her faults, she could keep a promise) then she never even had to know that his identity had been compromised.

Ladybug’s face lit up in a smile when she saw him and his heart fluttered. “Chat! Good evening!”

He laughed nervously. “Yeah. Better than last night, anyways.” He wasn’t sure if bringing up Chloe’s party was a good idea or not, but he barely had a filter around Ladybug.

She chuckled. “That was certainly an interesting night.”

“Oh?” he asked, as if he didn’t already know about Chloe asking her out. He wasn’t going to tell her why it had been an interesting night for him.

“Uh yeah.” She blushed. “Remember Chloe? She, uh, asked me out.”

“Didn’t she already do that?” Her blush was concerning.

“Yeah, but this time she was really sweet about it. I felt bad turning her down.” She sighed.

“But you did turn her down, right? Because you’re not into her.” Chloe had said she had, but maybe it was just a soft rejection. Nerves twisted in his stomach.

“Yeah. I mean, she’s pretty and all, but no.” Ladybug laughed and shook her head. Chat breathed a sigh of relief.

“Yeah, I mean, she’s a civilian. It would be weird to date a civilian.” He laughed awkwardly. “Like, that's basic superhero stuff.”

A small secret smile danced across her lips. “I’m not against dating a civilian.”

His heart lurched with sudden hope. “Really? Do you have anyone in mind?”

Ladybug rolled her eyes and turned away. “Come on. We should get this patrol started.” She lept away without looking at him, leaving him to scramble to keep up with her.

As he scanned the streets below, he was deep in thought. Ladybug seemed to think Adrien was attractive and she wasn’t against dating a civilian. She had turned Chloe down because she didn’t like her. Chloe had caused a lot of akumas. Adrien had never caused any akumas. He thought briefly about Copycat but then realized that it was still true. Adrien had never caused any akumas. She had no reason to dislike Adrien.

He considered his options as he vaulted through the cold night. He needed her to interact with Adrien more. But how? The only time they interacted was in the middle of akuma attacks, and he had to be more focused on stopping the attack.

Maybe he could just. . . ask her to visit Adrien? They both visit civilians occasionally, so it wouldn’t be that weird.

They stopped for a break and he turned to her abruptly, as if he was just remembering something. “I forgot, I ran into that one kid on my way over here, Adrien Agreste? He wanted to tell me he wanted to talk to you when you get a chance. He said it was important.” He tried to stay casual, as if he had no stake in whether she visited him or not.

She raised her eyebrow. “When would you have run into Adrien Agreste?”

“He was. . . taking a walk and he called out to me as I was coming to meet you.” He hoped it was dark enough that she didn’t see his nervous face clear enough.

Ladybug shrugged. “I could stop by after patrol and see if he is still up.” She frowned. “I wonder what he wants to talk about?”

Chat felt a little guilty for lying, but it was just because he couldn’t tell her he was Adrien. She didn’t want him to tell her. So this was his only option.

After finishing up the patrol they said their goodbyes. Chat ran back to his house as fast as he could, wanting to be sure he got there before Ladybug.

“This is a terrible idea.” Plagg said grumpily after he slipped through his window and dropped his transformation.

“You shush.” Adrien started up his computer and gathered some school work on to his desk, trying to make it look like he had been doing homework.  

He had only just started to pretend to concentrate on his text book when he heard a knock on the door. He tried not to look up too eagerly, but he knew he failed at that.

Ladybug stood on his windowsill, waving hesitantly. He rushed over to let her in.

“Ladybug! You made it!” He grinned as she slipped in through the window.

She looked concerned. “What’s wrong? Chat told me it was urgent.”

Guilt washed over him. He shouldn’t have said something that made her worried. “I, uh, might have exaggerated to him. It isn’t that urgent.” He tried to give her his most charming smile. “I just wanted to talk to you.”

She raised an eyebrow skeptically, frowning. “Okay. . . What did you want to talk about?”

Okay. He had to do it now. “I just wanted to let you know how much I admire you.” He took her hand and guided her to the couch. He held her hand as he gazed into her eyes. “You’re so smart and strong and beautiful and knowing you makes my life a million times better.”

A small, hesitant smile spread across her pretty lips. “Thank you, Adrien. I’m so flattered.”

“I’m not done.” He took a deep breath. “I like you. A lot. And I’d really like to go on a date with you.”   

The smile fell from Ladybug’s lips and his heart fall with it. She shifted uncomfortably on the couch and pulled her hand away.  

“Oh, Adrien. . .” She smiled again but it was a pitying smile now and it hurt almost as much as if she had stomped away in disgust. “I like you. I really do.” She sighed. “If you had asked me a few months ago. . . but that’s beside the point.”   

“Is there someone else?” His voice was cracking and he could feel his throat tightening.   

“Yes.” She put a hand on his shoulder. “I’m dating someone else. I’m sorry.”   

“Who is it?” He asked, a little harsher than he intended. He just had to know. Who had stolen her heart? And how had he not known?   

“I can’t tell you. I have to protect her. Not even Chat knows. She doesn’t even know I’m Ladybug.” She sighed. “I’m sorry, Adrien.” She reached down to give him a hug. He returned it stiffly, his mind still reeling, unable to appreciate the feeling of Ladybug so close.   

Pulling away, she looked at him and frowned. “If you don’t have anything else, I’m, uh, going to go? If that’s okay?”   

Adrien didn’t want her to go, but he knew it wasn’t fair to keep her, not when she was so clearly uncomfortable. “I’m fine. Sorry to call you out here for nothing.”   

Ladybug frowned, hesitating at the window. “You’re really awesome Adrien. If I were single, I would definitely go on a date with you.” She forced a smile before jumping out the window and into the night.   

Adrien stared at the open window, emotions swirling. She had a girlfriend. Of course she was seeing someone else.   

“I told you it was a bad idea, kid.” Plagg floated up from his hiding place, laying a sympathetic paw on Adrien’s shoulder.   

“Please, Plagg, leave me alone for a little bit.” His voice was ragged and he knew the tears were coming. Plagg floated away to snack on some cheese as Adrien collapsed heavily onto the couch.

I don’t know the odds of you guys even knowing what I’m talking about here (especially younger fans), but I kind of wish Chloe redemption’s/the development of Chlonette (friendship or more) was similar to The Freshman series (by PB Choices) when it came to MC and Becca’s relationship. I really enjoyed Becca’s redemption and her relationship with MC. The best part, they didn’t treat the side mean girl like crap and threw her to the side just to do that.

However, at the same time, if course it was, because Freshman is for people 17+ and Miraculous is a French children’s show. Now, I don’t excuse bad writing at the slightest, even for a kids show, but I guess that’s just the reality of it 🤷‍♀️ The show made it’s bed a long time ago. I still enjoy some parts of it of course, but it’s still flawed.

But I’m going off track here. Is there any older fans out there who know of The Freshman series AND still enjoys Miraculous Ladybug? Please let me know that your out there lol

Inspired by the Barbie adaptation, "The Princess and the Pauper," and the original Mark Twain story, Chloé and Zoé are two different, but similar looking girls and one day meet as they talk about their lives and how different they are. When Chloé, after being Queen Bee on a mission, is kidnapped and taken to Hawk Moth and Mayura, it’s now up to Zoé to use the bee miraculous and pretend to be Queen Bee until the real hero is found.

Post Season 3 finale. After losing her miraculous for good, Adrien does his best to cheer up his childhood friend. However, he brings along a friend. How will Kagami react to the snobby blonde? Will she learn that there is more than just a black heart behind her?

“You’re a really good fighter, Ladybug!” The red insect hero blushed. Viperion then looked over the horizon. “Hey look, it’s sunset.” He eyed over his leader. “You know, besides being a Miraculous ally, I’m also into music.” The blue snake led out his hand. “Would you like one dance before we go?” All Ladybug could do was stare in astonishment as she was locked into his shiny blue eyes.

"I'll happily be the monster, I’m already mean!” The blonde shouted to the air. “I’M ALREADY PLAYING THE FUCKING ROLE!” The screaming then got a certain blue-haired boy’s attention.

Chloe/Rose Friendship

Post Guilttrip. When learning that she was a sick person this whole time, Chloé begins to not only feel horrible for treating Rose badly, but also for ripping up her letter to Prince Ali that one time. How will she make up to Rose? In fact, could she?! "Ugh, what is this weird feeling inside of me?! No, it can't be!"

Chloe/Alya and Queen Bee/Rena Rouge Friendship

AU, Post Miraculer. Ladybug tells Chloe that she cannot be Queen Bee anymore due to her identity being exposed, but instead of taking back the miraculous, she decides that it would be better if Chloe went undercover instead. Then, when Alya is exposed as Rena Rouge, it’s now up to the two vicious enemies to put their differences aside and work together undercover as Rena Furtive and Invisible Hornet.

Chloe/OC Friendship

Post Queen Banana/AU. Angry for being replaced, Chloé vows to never help Ladybug ever again and to destroy her once and for all. While on the run, the blonde stumbles upon a mysterious box with question marks all over it. Curiously, she takes it home and it’s revealed to be the Spider Miraculous! Bitter and vengeful at Ladybug and hating the new hero Vesperia, Chloé decides to use the miraculous for her advantage and decides to call herself a new hero. However, The Spider Kwami, Octod starts to see that maybe the young blonde girl is not evil or malicious, but someone who “is lost, just like him.”

Super Mario Miraculous!:

Miraculous Ladybug/Super Mario Crossover

When our beloved heroes and their friends find themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom, they not only befriend the legendary hero himself, but when Hawk Moth makes his way into the kingdom himself, he and the Koopa King Bowser have plans of their own. Can Ladybug survive in this new dimension and will she be able to make new allies on the way? 

*The Bee Sisters Duo!:

Chloe/Zoe and Queen Bee/Vesperia Friendship

Chloe and Zoe are fraternal twin sisters in this AU. and they both called themselves “The Bee Sisters Duo.” Chloe, wielding the bee miraculous, is Queen Bee. Zoe, wielding a wasp miraculous, is Vesperia. When switched, Chloe is Lady Wasp and Zoe is Madame Bee. 

*A Fox and Her Cub:

Sabrina/Lila Friendship

Sabrina/Lila/Hawk Moth/Mayura Alliance 

Miracle Queen AU where Sabrina teams up with Lila and they join Hawk Moth. Sabrina becomes a villain after being tired of Chloe neglecting her because of her duties as Queen Bee. Zoe will get the dog miraculous and will be called Baroness Woof. 

Tired of Being Admired:

MissBlanc (Miss. Fortune/Chat Blanc)

Story I plan to have where Marinette turns to the dark side and finally becomes Miss. Fortune, the akumatized version of Ladybug! Even worse, she joins Chat Blanc and the two now decide to get revenge on those who doubted them when it came to them being heroes. Might have this take place in an alternative setting of Ladybug.

*Bug and Wasp Game:

LadyBee/LadyWasp (Ladybug/Queen Bee; Ladybug/Queen Wasp)

Kinda a dark and gritty AU; similar to Batman. Marinette is known as LadySteel (Based off of the steelblue ladybug) and Chloe is once again Queen Wasp. They’ll basically have a Batman and Catwoman dynamic. 

*The Anti Tales of Lady Dot and Ms. Kitty:

Chloe/Lila Friendship-Alliance

What happens if Chloe and Lila are the Ladybug and Cat wielders instead? Rather than be superheroes, they’re anti heroes known as Lady Dot (Chloe) and Ms. Kitty (Lila).

*Queen Bee and Ladybug with Su-Han:

Chlonette/LadyBee Friendship-Alliance

A bit inspired by Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, so this one’s a little raunchy. Chloe and Marinette are still heroes, but this time, they’re angels sent from Heaven to fight off akumatized victims in order to earn their places up there again. They’ll still use their power sources and Su-Han will be their guardian to help assign their missions.

*His (Un)Loyal Student:

Chloe/Hawk Moth Alliance

AU where Gabriel/Hawk Moth adopts Chloe as his foster daughter after Andre and Audrey die at his hands. He then trains her to be his personal fighter to fight off against Ladybug and Chat Noir. However, as time goes by, Chloe begins to question Hawk Moth’s motives and wonders if he’s the actual villain instead.

 Untitled Miraculous/Buffy Crossover:

Mentioned this before, but basically a possible AU crossover where either Marinette and her allies/friends are put in a Buffy-like universe where Marinette is a slayer to akumas and amorks, or a simple Buffy-Miraculous crossover where Ladybug and Buffy work together to fight off the sources of evil surrounding them from both their universes.

*Purple and Pink Love Square:

JuleRose/PurpleElla (Juleka/Rose and Purple Tigress/Pigella)

Juleka and Rose are the main characters and are still Purple Tigress and Pigella. Basically, a Love Square between them.

I really hope you all enjoyed reading the majority of these. I know it is a lot and I do understand the confusing and frustration you had if so. I’m really sorry for coming up with so many ideas. I just love Miraculous and AUs so much, that I couldn’t help, but create so many. 😅 

Also, please realize five important notes:

Not all of the fanfics I’d planned to do are on this list; mainly because the majority of them have very serious and mature themes. So I didn’t know whether or not I wanted to add them on this list.

If you’re wondering why the majority of them involve saying post Season 3 finale, it’s because most of these ideas were created by the time S3 ended and when S4 was still in production. That’s why some involve Lukanette or Adrigami because while they are no longer available, you can still ship a couple that is no longer canon. That’s why fanfics are a thing! They are your canon! You decide what you want!

Just because some of these fics have a certain ship or relationship involve does not necessarily mean that I ship it. Some of them are platonic or friendships; others I just thought of as an interesting idea for said ship. 

Which brings me to this: DO NOT BASH ANYONE WHO LIKES OR LOVES A CERTAIN SHIP!  My AUs and Fics are for fun and entertainment purposes only! They are to be enjoyed by the majority of the Miraculous fandom and if you don’t like it, fine by me. You are free to either ignore me and my writings, filter my tags, or block me and move on. I will not tolerate hissy fits over a simple cartoon. If you keep this attitude towards me or anyone, you will be automatically blocked! No exceptions! 

The most important note of them all: Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE realize that I am a very busy person for the most of my time! Not all of these will be automatically posted once the time comes! While I have written a few down, there are either still in progress or I need to go over them one more time before the final draft is revealed. So please be patient and I will post an update on whether one is done or is getting started. Doesn’t help that I’m most likely gonna end up rewatching the show to get some ideas...
