Future fic where Adrien disappears, transitions while she is away, and when she comes back, everybody at the school reunion treats her horribly because they think she's Chloé.
Extra points if they treat Chloé great because her style is so rich AF butch lesbian now that everybody thinks she is Adrien.

Hiii hope you're doing okay
Can you please a character analysis on adrien and marinette?
I really like your opinions and analysis and would love to hear your general opinions on them
btw your one of my favorite accounts on tumblr
Ok, for you. I already analysed them a lot but I'll try to sum it up. Mari first cuz she's my fav kid and I'm going to fit another analysis on why she's the main character here (cuz I wanted to do this for so long) so I'll use that as a transition from Marinette to Adrien:
Marinette Dupain-Cheng
Tumblr media
Marinette is the main protagonist, she's supposed to be designed as one of those magical girls from anime but she resembles superheroes from comics more (apart from dead parents). Her private life is more affected by her superhero life than Adrien's, she gives that Spider-Man vibe when she's late to school and all. Speaking of Spider-Man, Ladybug's design was inspired by him. Marinette is really relatable, especially to me - clumsiness, panic, stress, all those responsibilities too many for such a young person, bullies (oh boy...), insecurity (I admire those who can't relate to that), has a lot of talent but is in constant fear of failure (THIS IS MEEEEE LITERALLY), is a good friend, she really had the best possible development, became friends with her crush's gf and never gave up on her, is always learning how to do better, is trying her best in general. All the time. Her powers are cool too, Ladybug rocks! Marinette is smart and even when she gets carried away and someone has her cornered she can manage to get out of the problem with her planning. She tried to help her bully become a better person and make her happy, she wanted to forgive both of her bullies and be friends with them. Her parents are sweet and they don't force her to continue family business and she likes helping them even though being a baker is not her dream, her dream is being a fashion designer. I like designing too btw. In the end of Wishmaker she even mentioned how she wants to design everything from accessories to furniture.
She works as a main character because she has freedom to be connected to everyone and anyone. Unlike Adrien, who has a daily schedule, she doesn't. She can go whenever she wants when she has free time and she can make more friendships than Adrien. Marinette is also involved a lot with her family and their stories are her story too, unlike Adrien. Adrien's family is a huge part of the series but Adrien doesn't have any connections to their villainy, at least he's not aware of that. That's why Marinette works better as the main character. Her character has more freedom, she's flexible, she can move whenever and wherever you want her to move. Adrien has no choice but to be where he has to be. Marinette also knows better who she is, her life is messed up because she's Ladybug. Adrien doesn't have this, Adrien's biggest happiness in life is being Chat Noir. He is not a love interest as some may think, he is a lot more, he is the secondary protagonist while Marinette is the main protagonist.
Now speaking of him:
Adrien Agreste
Tumblr media
Adrien is, like we said, the secondary protagonist. He is sweet, generous, calmer than his significant other, is a good guy in general but his family is an evil mess that came straight out of Hell so look away if you see them or you'll turn into stone. There is this huge fan theory that the show is kind of supporting but it hasn't been confirmed yet - that Adrien is a sentimonster. I didn't believe this theory until Ephemeral, currently I think this might be true. I'm still not certain what to think about that. Adrien is shown to have a bad relationship with his father who abuses him, however based on the photos Adrien had a good relationship with his mother. Adrien looks like his mother too, thank God! Adrien is trying to find best in people even when it's obvious that there are no good things in some of them. He did the same with Gabriel, Lila, Chloé and Félix until recently when he realized that some people are the way they are and won't change. This was a huge part of his character development and it's great! Adrien is good at basketball but not football. He is a model and hates it, mostly because it's his father who makes him do adds he doesn't like (I too wouldn't like to be up in the air higher than Eiffel Tower itself). He is also a hopeless romantic like his future wife. He loves hamsters as well. He is the opposite of his father, they compare him to his mother a lot so I assume she was a lot like him.
Well I think this is it. I hope you liked it. Nothing but love and respect for my children. Thanks for what you said about me too, I'm glad you like my account. ❤️❤️❤️

You can count on me (I will be there for you)
Penultimate chapter, here we go! Discoveries are made, and they’re not for the best. Hope you enjoy!
Special thanks to the lovely @theanxiouscupcake for helping me figure out the ending :)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | AO3
---
Chapter 8
Ladybug helplessly watches Chat sink out of sight, and she knows he won’t find anything good, wherever he’s headed. It’s less of a gut feeling (what honest person has secret mechanisms lying around their house in fiction, not to mention real life?) than an informed guess based on what she’s holding.
She’d hit the jackpot in Nathalie’s room. The envelopes she found weren’t empty, but they didn’t contain blackmail destined to Ladybug; it was clearly targeted at Hawkmoth and Mayura. Given that they’d all been opened with a paper knife, she doubted that Nathalie had been on the sending end.
The Peacock brooch she’d found in her nightstand, along with Duusuu, had done nothing to help Marinette in her quest for an explanation that could disculpate her.
She knows she's found what she needed, but it really feels like a Pyrrhic victory.
“Chat Noir? Is everything alright?” Max’s voice over the comms snaps her out of her thoughts.
There’s a tense silence as they wait for an answer, which she decides to break after a couple of minutes, for her own sanity.
“So, what did you find?” She asks, eyeing Markov. The robot is holding a USB key, which is unusual, since Max generally uses him directly as a memory source when needed. She doesn’t doubt that he also carries a copy of the data they’ve found, meaning that the information must be very important.
“An annotated digital copy of a Miraculous book, very expensive and regular butterfly orders, Hawkmoth redesign costumes, and elaborate plans to defeat you and Chat Noir.” Her friend enumerates. It all checks out. “Oh, and some music videos starring Hawkmoth.”
“What?” She frowns.
“It’s very disturbing.” Max grimaces.
Her next question is barely formulated in her head when Chat Noir’s voice reaches them. “Guys?”
“Chaton!” She refocuses on him immediately. “Are you alright?”
“I’ve found something.” His voice is strained.
“Don’t move, we’re coming.” She runs towards where the platform had been mere minutes ago, looking around frantically for the trigger mechanism.
Max puts a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. “Could you just tell us how to join you?” He asks.
Chat explains the steps in a monotonous voice that worries Max and Ladybug enough that they decide to ride the elevator together. It’s a little cramped, but the quicker they get to him, the better.
The tube quickly opens and they step out into what looks like an attic in a flutter of white butterfly wings.
Chat Noir has his back to them, his suit looking darker than usual in the backlight. He turns around from the truly impressive window he was looking out from when he hears them, a sad smile pulling at his lips.
“This doesn’t really look like a good guy’s den, does it?” He tries to joke.
“It does look a little suspicious,” she concedes.
“Did Adrien ever tell you his Dad was a lepidopterologist?” Max asks, a butterfly landing on his outstretched hand, as if he’s still trying to find a rational explanation for the situation that doesn't involve Gabriel Agreste being Hawkmoth.
“A what?” Chat looks at him, perplexed.
“A lepidopterologist,” his friend repeats. “Someone who studies butterflies.”
“Nope, I don’t think he has a clue.” He shakes his head and clears his throat. “But anyway, what did you guys find? Anything interesting?”
Ladybug hands him the envelopes and the brooch. His eyes fly over the letters’ contents, his expression indescifrable, while Max repeats his own findings.
“Max, what is the probability that Gabriel and Nathalie are just storing stuff for Hawkmoth and Mayura?” Chat asks gently, folding the letters again and giving them back to her. She sticks them in her yoyo for safe-keeping.
“I’d say about 0,0152%.” Max announces after a couple of seconds.
“That’s not very much.” He grimaces.
“Good thing Adrien didn’t come with us.” Ladybug whispers. “It’s… a lot to take in.”
“Sure is.” He sighs.
“Everyone, there seems to be another shaft here.” Markov interrupts them, flashing a red light to indicate his position in one of the dark corners of the room.
They walk towards him and study their surroundings, Max spotting the associated buttons first. Chat figures that it can’t bring them back to the study; it’s too far away from the first one.
“Multiple levels? What kind of evil lair is this?” Ladybug mutters.
“A professional one, that’s for sure.” Max replies. “Should we check it out?”
Ladybug looks at the time on her bug phone. They’re still doing okay, having been particularly efficient with their search. Or just very lucky that Hawkmoth and Mayura are bad at hiding compromising evidence.
She activates her microphone. “Nino, Kagami?”
“Yes, Marinette?” Kagami’s voice is prompt to reply.
“How are things going?”
“Not too bad, I think. Nino’s keeping Gabriel occupied, and I’m keeping an eye on Nathalie. They don’t seem to be in any rush to leave.”
“That’s good to hear.” She sighs in relief.
“How about you guys? Is Chat okay?”
“Right as rain.” Chat Noir chimes in. “We just have one more thing to investigate and we’ll be back.”
“Okay, cool. Keep us posted!” Kagami replies.
“You too.”
There’s a little static as Chat releases his microphone button.
“Right, so that’s sorted. I’ll go first.” Ladybug states more than she volunteers, calling the lift. She suspects Chat Noir would have liked to lead the way, but he’s a little pale for her liking, and Kwami knows what they’ll find on the other end.
“Are you sure?” He looks at her, contrasting emotions flickering in his eyes. On the one hand, he seems to be relieved that she’s taking charge of the exploration, but on the other hand, she knows he must be worried about her going first.
"You guys will be right down, it’s fine.” She smiles and squeezes his arm lightly, before entering the elevator capsule.
She’s surrounded by darkness for the first part of the journey, but the dim lighting of the lift is oddly comforting; she finds herself thinking that it might relieve Chat Noir’s claustrophobia.
The tube then transitions to transparency, and she’s suddenly looking out onto one of the largest and oddest rooms she’s ever seen, if ‘room’ is even the right word for it. The space looks like some kind of underground church, with its metal nave extending above a body of water and leading to a little garden, centred around a large tubular object. The latter is overseen by a large window that reminds her of the one up in the attic, except the panes are blocked off. It isn’t dark, though; a ray of light shines from above, and dim lights are regularly spaced along the sides of the room.
The elevator doors open and Ladybug steps out unsurely, not daring to venture too far. She feels very small as she waits for Chat Noir and Max, and a little uncomfortable, like she just broke into a sacred place. She untenses a little when they join her.
“What is this place?” Chat Noir lets out a low whistle as he takes in the grandeur of the space.
“It looks like some kind of underground crypt.” Max pushes his glasses back up on his nose. “We’re really not far from the Marais, maybe this was a church that sunk at some stage and was built over?”
Ladybug nods. It seems like a decent explanation.
Chat’s gut twists as he takes a couple of steps forward. He has an awful feeling about what lays at the end of the bridge, yet he’s inexplicably drawn to it. Ladybug and Max follow him carefully as he makes his way towards it.
The tube at the end of the way looks a lot like a coffin, they realise, and as they approach it, they must have triggered some motion detector, for its cover recedes, revealing a seemingly sleeping woman.
And not just any woman.
Emilie Agreste.
She’s dressed in a white suit, a slight smile on her lips, and holds a large bouquet of white and red flowers. She looks so peaceful, so beautiful. So like her portraits. Ladybug half expects her to wake up, green eyes twinkling as she welcomes them.
Next to her, Chat Noir’s breath hitches and his hand extends to touch the glass, a tear rolling down his cheek. It shatters as it lands on the coffin.
“You’re here.” He whispers.
Ladybug shares a look with Max, who encourages her to step forward with a nod. She does, lacing her fingers through Chat’s free hand and giving it a squeeze.
“I didn’t realise you were this close.” Her voice is barely above a murmur as another tear hits the coffin. Anything louder would feel disrespectful. Chat just nods in reply.
From this angle, she realises, Emilie looks just like Adrien; same fine features, same kind smile, same blond hair. She can’t help but understand why it must have been hard for Gabriel Agreste to look his son in the eye, at first.
“Um, guys?” Nino’s voice breaks the silence, making them jump. “I think we’ve maxed out the small talk. Kagami’s trying to hold off Nathalie but Gabe is just openly avoiding me now. Can we give them a bit of a breather?”
“Absolutely not.” Chat’s reply is icy as he angrily wipes his tears with the heel of his hand. “We’ll be right back, just need to call the police. Do not let them out of your sight, especially Gabriel. He might have his Miraculous on him.”
“Oh dude, I’m so sorry.”
“It’s fine.” He takes a shaky breath. Marinette gives his hand another squeeze and takes her yoyo out. She spots Max taking out his phone out of the corner of her eye and turns towards him slightly, blinking gratefully at him. Chat doesn’t seem to be in the right frame of mind to call the police himself. She calls Rena Rouge.
“LB?” Her friend answers immediately.
“Alya? Are you in my room?”
“Yes, need anything?”
“Could you get the Bee Miraculous in my sewing box, please? I’ll send you the code.”
“Sure. Do you want me to go downstairs and give it to Chloé? Or should I stay put?”
“We’re going to need you downstairs, but make sure no one sees you yet. We need all hands on deck for this.” She takes a deep breath. “And make sure Adrien’s safe for me?”
“Will do.”
She hangs up just as Max calls his transformation.
“There’s a unit on its way here, and another heading for the Château. They’re warning the police officers who are already on site, they’re going to start closing off the exits. They said they’d take the evidence from us over there.” Her friend reports.
“Good.” She says, and she sees Chat Noir nod next to her, eyes still aimed at the coffin. “Let’s go, then.”
Pegasus invokes his powers and jumps through the portal. Chat Noir tears his gaze from Emilie and goes to follow him.
Ladybug holds him back before he can step through. “Are you sure you’re going to be okay, Chaton?”
“I just need to end this once and for all.” He smiles sadly and kisses her forehead tenderly, before taking her hand and helping her through.
He turns around and blows Emilie a last kiss before joining his wife.

Mr. Meet Cute
The Holiday is one of my romcom guilty pleasures. It is also the movie that taught me the “meet cute” - that instance in a movie where two people serendipitously meet, that right place, right time, lock eyes moment.
Maybe it’s the rush of the unexpected, or this “meant to be” feeling as though the universe is giving you the stamp of serendipitous approval, but whatever it is, most people (myself included) seem to want and crave these moments.
One trip home to New York after a visit to Minnesota for Thanksgiving, I went to board my flight and was offered priority seating (the perks of running extremely late I guess :D). I took my seat and noticed a very attractive guy walk onto the plane. He threw his pack and attached construction hat in the overhead bin and took the aisle seat next to me. Priority seating is right. ;]
He was definitely around my age, tall, broad, had medium short brown hair and big kind brown eyes. I, of course, was entirely unprepared. Catching a late night flight and not accustomed to being sat next to Hottie McHotties, I had zero make up on, unwashed hair in a high pony, and a sweatshirt on.... thanks so much universe.
I couldn’t tell you how it started, but shortly after he sat we started talking to each other. I found out he was a manager of a construction company on a layover in Minnesota from a work trip in Colorado, and that he lived in Westchester New York. My first thought was - oh good, he was also on a plane home ;]. I told him I was working at Fordham University and that I planned to go for a masters degree. We ended up talking about spirituality and politics, and it wasn’t until we were well in the air that we both decided to zone into those complementary Delta movies.
Once we landed, we spoke a little again. I asked how he would manage to get home from the airport in Queens up to his home Westchester, knowing the public transit for me into Manhattan was nightmare enough. He explained that he had a car in the airport parking lot and would drive himself home. Immediately, he looked at me and offered to give me a ride too. It was extremely kind of him, but it was already 11pm. I knew my apartment was entirely out of the way for him, and even though I was getting a pretty harmless vibe from him, a part of me is always cautious of putting myself into vulnerable situations with people I’ve only just met. So I insisted that I would find my own way home.
I figured he may have quickly thought of the vulnerable situation himself, because he didn’t press any further. As we went to exit the plane, I had to walk a little ways toward the back to retrieve my carryon luggage, and by the time I walked off, he was already gone.
I was pretty bummed. We didn’t exchange numbers or even last names. At that point, I knew the chance was lost and I would have to chalk up the experience to a nice plane ride with a cute guy.
-----------------------------------------
Fast-forward a few weeks later. I decided to head to midtown in order to finish up some Christmas shopping. As soon as I hopped off the subway I felt the craving for a cup of coffee or tea. For some reason, I struggled to figure out where the closest Starbucks was (there literally on just about every corner so I was clearly having a stroke). I remembered there was one in Manhattan Mall so I walked in and saw a relatively long line at the little pop up Sbucks. The guy at the end of the line looked up at me and all of the sudden went “Chloé?” And there he was.... the cutie from the airplane. I absolutely could not believe it. I immediately felt the shock of that serendipitous meet cute moment that happens only in movies and never in real life.
I also could not believe that yet again, I looked frumpy af... almost zero makeup, hair up, jacket on. Lol thanks again universe.
He offered to buy my coffee, so we chatted in line a bit. He was in midtown for a work meeting and on his break he somehow ended up at the same Starbucks as me. We talked about our weekends a bit and he mentioned hiking with some family members in upstate New York. I asked for the name of the park he went to and he said, “here why don’t you give me your number and I’ll text it to you. Plus, this way we can run into each other on purpose sometime.”
I casually said “yeah definitely,” but inside I was DYING. I could not believe that only a few weeks after our failed chance, we were softballed another, and he took it.
As he ran to his meeting, he texted me the park location. I responded “Thank you :]” and that was the end of our conversation.
Later that night he texted me
Him: “Hey Chloe it was good to see you again!” Me: “It was good to see you too! Thank you for the tea :]”
I figured him reaching out meant he would maybe want to follow up on meeting each other on purpose, but he didn't say anything. I felt a little confused but everyone I mentioned the story too said he was clearly interested and thought maybe he needed something more clear and distinct from me. So I texted him the next day:
Me: Hey ___, if you do want to run into each other on purpose on of these days let me know, coffee is on me.
He never responded.
All of my dating experience in New York has lead me to be exceedingly skeptical even when everything seems to point in the obvious “they’re into you” direction. But even so, I have to admit that after all of that, I was pretty bummed and confused. Why offer the ride home from the airport? Why offer to buy my coffee? Why offer to exchange phone numbers with the intention to meet up on purpose? So many offers... and yet?
I couldn’t fully understand it.
------------------------------------------------
I remember telling this story to a friend a year later. We were talking about how ideal it would be to meet someone in person rather than online, but I warned that the medium might not change the outcome much, at least my experience didn’t seem any clearer or easier.
About two days after telling her the Mr. Meet Cute story, I found myself inside of Manhattan Mall, buying myself a coffee. I thought to myself, hey it’s been a year since I spoke to Mr. Meet Cute. Who knows if there was something else going on in his life that I didn’t know about at the time, and what could it hurt to reach out to him again?
So I did.
Tumblr media
(I was glad to hear form him but definitely noticed that it took him a week to respond) ^
Tumblr media
(the next day)
Tumblr media
Laundry....?
Tumblr media
And that was it... I never heard from him, and I never tried to reach out again.
I figured at this point, if I didn’t see initiative on his end, it wasn’t worth it. I’m definitely willing to put myself out there and initiate, but shared intentionality is really important, particularly in the beginning of getting to know someone.
I wasn’t mad or frustrated with him, you never know why someone is doing the things they are, but I was confused, just as I had been a year prior. Yet again, I felt this consistent effort from him to offer opportunities to meet up followed by continued hesitation to follow through. I’m sure there are any number of reasons, none of which are probably personal to me.
Still, it was unfortunate. I mean what a cool meeting story would that be? Am I right? But this point in my dating life, I also understood that how you meet someone isn’t what substantiates it, it’s how you interact with one another from then on.
Simply put, I guess a meet cute doesn’t guarantee an end cute.

Keith Haring was born in Pennsylvania in 1958, and created a high volume of work between 1980 and 1990. At first, his pieces appear to be quite simple: the shapes are straightforward, the compositions are easy to understand, and the colours are bright and appealing. You might look at a piece of his and think that it’s a cool artwork; maybe you’ll want it on a shirt or a hat. But if you stop for a second to think about it, it becomes so much more. It becomes a cry for justice and equality for all those oppressed. It becomes a silent scream against the establishment that is slowly driving us towards the destruction of the planet. It becomes a message written in images that touches every single person on Earth, fighting the good fight for a better world that doesn’t stand for the crushing of people or of the environment. Every single figure in Haring’s pieces carries a meaning that serves his greater social battle. He used his art to express everything he was afraid of, or infuriated by, to try to open a line of communication with the greater public.
Because Haring’s ideas are still so relevant to this day, I chose to create a costume that would not only recreate one of his own pieces, but rather further a message he spent his life pushing for. Amongst other things, Haring was terrified that the strain we put on the Earth would end up in an ecocide, the never-ending demand in consumerism being far too great for the world to sustain, an idea that he often presented in his work. My costume is hence a depiction of this reality and of what needs to be changed in order to avoid what is currently unavoidable.
The back of the shirt represents our current situation, with blue, jaded people collectively honouring our society’s obsession with consumerism, the colour green serving as symbolism for money and envy. The red of this side represents the danger we are in, with the “five minutes to twelve” clock referring to a world threatened by an ecocide. This side of the shirt represents what we need to leave behind and walk away from. Conversely, the front of the shirt represents what we need to move towards: a world we could achieve if we changed our unsustainable ways. Here, the crowd is made of green people, who live eco-friendly lives. The figures they are honouring are blue, emulating stability and calm, and convey messages of change, transition, and transformation. The yellow used on this side symbolizes hope for the future if we can achieve these changes. The reason I chose to use identical, yet opposite colours on the front and the back of the shirt is to show that we have already have what it takes to live sustainably, but need to actively make changes if we want this shift to occur.
In terms of the design of the costume, I wanted to create an outfit that was heavily 80’s inspired, as this is the decade when most of Haring’s work was created. I only used second hand clothing from thrift stores so that the medium of my costume would support the ecological message it conveyed. Also, since Haring was heavily involved in the creation of public art, mostly in the form of murals, I chose to use a very oversized shirt to evoke a mural, and in a way, become a piece of public art myself when wearing it.

thirty days of idol character development         all in one post, written over the course of a week. written as if by a fan with an informative blog for minhee, like the world’s biggest idol fun facts profile.
day one: introduce your muse. are they solo or in a group? what is their position in the group? consider this day the day for writing the basics.
hwang minhee, known professionally as minnie, is the youngest member of the south korean girl group, lipstick, and its sub - unit, lip gloss, under bc entertainment. she is the group’s main dancer and lead rapper.
day two: talk about your muse’s childhood. where did they grow up? did they have any dream jobs besides being an idol? when did they realize they wanted to be an idol?
minhee grew up in an affluent household in seoul, south korea, where her mother encouraged her to pursue dance from the age of three. interest in being an idol did not spark until her early teens, when she auditioned for bc entertainment, though a career in dance was always the goal.
day three: take us back to when your muse was either recruited or auditioned to become an idol. how did that go? how did they feel getting up on stage for recruiters? if your muse could give their younger selves advice before the audition, what would they say?
minhee auditioned for bc entertainment at an open audition day at the age of fourteen. she was confident in the dance portion of the audition, but less so in the singing portion. minhee has commented that if she was to change anything about her audition, she would have rapped instead of singing.
day four: remember the trainee days? what are some of your muse’s memories of being a trainee? how long were they a trainee? were they worried about potentially not making a debut? talk about any challenges they might have encountered.
minhee was a trainee under bc entertainment for less than a year before debuting as lipstick’s maknae, but was training in semi - professional dance studios for years prior. minhee was known as a dance prodigy among the other trainees, and as such, was confident in her chances of debuting.
day five: recall your muse’s debut. what was the song they debuted with? how did it feel performing for the first time on stage as an idol? feel free to bring up their thoughts about the concept, choreography, lyrics, music video, or other components.
lipstick debuted on the thirtieth of july, 2012, with the song  ‘ run devil run ’, when minhee was fifteen years old. she felt the concept was cool, but not overly sexy, and was exhilarated that her dreams were finally coming true. it was noted by many vanities that minhee seemed shy during debut era.
day six: what concept does your muse think they can pull off best? cutesy? manly? sexy? what concept do they have a hard time pulling off? what kind of concept would they want to do at some point?
minhee has expressed several times throughout her career that she prefers cutesy concepts such as lip gloss’ earlier releases over lipstick’s usual sexy releases, but feels she has learned to perform both sides of herself well over the years. the sexy concepts were difficult to adjust to at first. minhee would like to try a retro, 80s, or 90s concept, akin to sillhouette’s  ‘ night rather than day ’ and ‘ lady ’.
day seven: which era is your muse’s favorite in their career? why is it their favorite (think concept, promotions, choreography, etc.)? if your muse has recently debuted, talk about what they would want to do for their next comeback.
minhee’s favourite lipstick era is  ‘ holiday night ’. concept - wise, it’s one of her favourites, because it is less sexy than lipstick’s usual title tracks, and has a fun, playful, party concept. it is also her favourite because it was their last era as a seven - member group. ‘ bingle bangle ’ is also in the running for the top spot for almost the exact opposite reason. it symbolises their successful return as a six - member group, proving they can do it without goeun.
day eight: talk about your muse’s strengths and weaknesses as an idol. feel free to discuss their own personal thoughts regarding these components. think of qualities such as vocals, dancing, visuals, acting skills, and variety show skills, for example.
minhee is most notably recognised for her dancing prowess, having competed on the first season of dance competition show, ‘ hit the stage ’.  as the group’s main dancer, this is to be expected, and she has trained in dance since early childhood, thanks to her mother. minhee has often expressed a want to improve in rapping, following much criticism surrounding her skills and position as lead rapper.
day nine: what is your muse’s fashion style? talk about what kind of clothes they love to wear. to them, what is the essential thing to have in their closet? what is their favorite outfit?
minhee is known for her simple, yet luxurious style. she is often seen at airports wearing pieces from cos, burberry, victoria beckham and chloé. staple pieces of minhee’s include straight - leg charcoal jeans, a black - and - white striped quarter - zip polo neck t - shirt and a long, burgundy coat.
day ten: talk about your muse’s three closest friends. how did they meet? how long have they known each other? what do they love most about their friends?
minhee’s closest friends include wish’s june, lucid’s hyewon and lipstick’s very own hyeju, all wonderful women she’s been lucky to meet through work over the years. a social butterfly by nature, minhee has many friends within the industry, garnering herself a reputation for being a very friendly, very outgoing idol.
day eleven: has your muse had any scandals? how have these scandals affected your muse as an idol or as a person? if your muse has not had any scandals, talk about their views on scandals. Is all publicity good publicity?
minhee has not been involved in any personal, individual scandals, but has been involved in scandals surrounding lipstick as a whole. aside from banned dance moves, lipstick’s reputation was heavily tarnished by their main vocal’s departure and the following lawsuit. the shakiness surrounding lipstick’s stability in the aftermath has left minhee struggling with seeing any longevity in her career.
day twelve: if your muse is in a group, what are the fun things about promoting with other members? what do they love about being in a group? what do they love about their members?
minhee has gone on record expressing her love and appreciation for the other members of lipstick, describing them as the older sisters she didn’t have growing up. she admires the other members for their cool, confident sexy charms, and is thankful for them always taking care of her, especially in the early days of lipstick.
day thirteen: for the muses in a group, what are the challenges of being one of several people in a group? have there been any troubles that have come along with being in a group environment and times they wish they were alone?
minhee prefers not to comment on any inter - group conflict, especially about any tensions following goeun’s departure, but it is a known fact that in lipstick, minhee’s lines are very slim, sometimes as little as seven seconds in an entire song.
day fourteen: if your muse is in a group, how do you think they would have fared had they had a solo career instead? what kind of concept would they have?
minhee was never considered for a soloist position within the company, at least not before debuting as a member of lipstick. her skills were not strong enough to carry herself as a soloist back then, being only fifteen years old. nowadays, if she were to make a solo debut, it is assumed that it would be an upbeat rap track, with a blend of sassy and cute themes.
day fifteen: who does your muse look up to in the industry? why do they look up to this person?
the person minhee most looks up to in the industry is bee’s maknae, alyssia. this is because she is the maknae of bc entertainment’s most senior girl group, and when minhee was attempting to adjust to the demands of a sexy concept group, she was able to look to alyssia’s performances over the years as inspiration.
day sixteen: if your muse could do a special stage with another artist or idol group, who would it be and why? what song would they perform?
minhee would like to do a special stage that brings together members from other girl groups from across all companies to form one franken - girl group, and perform a medley of all of their biggest hits, such as lipstick’s ‘ miniskirt ’, sillhouette’s ‘ up and down ’, wish’s ‘ cheer up’, and more. featuring tearaway costumes to transition between concepts.
day seventeen: how would your muse fare in a variety show? if your muse could appear on any variety show, which variety would it be and why?
her sociable and bubbly charms make minhee a natural on most variety shows, especially of the talk variety, but her favourite kind are the challenging types that feature athletic events. she would love to really test her physical limits by doing a stint on real men.
day eighteen: what entertainment agency is your muse a part of? what do they think of other groups and artists that are in the same agency as them? which labelmates do they get along with the most, excluding group members?
minhee is signed to bc entertainment. her favourite bc city group aside from lipstick is wish. being roughly the same age as most members of wish’s unnie line, minhee has known them since they were trainees, and gets on well with them and the rest of wish. minhee often jokingly says she would have liked to be a member of wish instead of lipstick.
day nineteen: is there anything besides idol activities that your muse would want to do? would they want to take their hand at hosting a variety show or act in a television show or drama? would they want to try out modeling or a musical?
minhee has mentioned in past interviews that she would like to go into the choreography field fulltime one day, as well as hosting a variety show. currently, she is contracted as the brand face of puma, and hopes to have more solo endorsement and modeling opportunities in the future.
day twenty: if your muse was able to be a part of a supergroup that comprised of current idols, who would they want to be in the same group and why? what kind of concept would this group have? how do you think the group would do in terms of popularity?
if minhee was to put together a supergroup, she would form it from other main dancers to create a dance and choreography focused girl group. their title tracks, to go along with the concept, would be heavily dance influenced. while some may criticize them for vocal performance, their popularity would be supplemented by dance fans.
day twenty - one: how does your muse feel about their fans? how do they feel about sasaeng fans? how would they handle a situation in which they were faced with obsessive fans that followed them or invaded their privacy? if they’ve had problems with sasaeng fans before, how did they feel about it?
saesang fans are one of minhee’s worst fears. she values her privacy very highly, and takes big steps to protect it, installing extensive security measures both outside her apartment and on her phone. she clears everything she does with a manager, or at least a friend, to make sure someone she can trust knows where she is at all times. in general, minhee loves and appreciates the majority of her fans, but does find some overtly sexual interactions discomforting.
day twenty - two: talk about your muse’s goals that they have for their group or themselves if they are a solo artist. where would they want to promote if given the chance? do they want to do a solo album at one point? this can be any sort of professional goal.
minhee would like to make a solo debut in the future to show off her skills that she never fully gets to in the group, but she would also like to see lip gloss make a return to their original cute and quirky concepts. along with this, minhee would also like to play a more active role choreographing dance routines for lipstick, and within bc entertainment itself.
day twenty - three: what is your muse’s thoughts on being an idol and dating? are they against dating? have they ever been in a relationship after debuting? if so, talk about the challenges that have come along with dating. if they aren’t dating, would they want to date?
minhee is known for being a hopeless romantic. publicly, minhee has not revealed herself to be in any relationships over the years, but has often lamented in interviews about her singleness and how she feels that even if she was dating that she wouldn’t have the time to commit to anything serious, but that she also is not interested in dating casually.
day twenty - four: who is your muse’s ideal type? why is this person their ideal type?
minhee’s ideal type is a man that is older than her, but by no more than five to six years. she would like someone who is a dancer like her so that they can practice and perform together, someone who will teach her how to cook and that likes cats.
day twenty - five: what does your muse want to be remembered for in the idol world? do they want to be remembered for their vocal prowess? their image? their dancing skills? their scandals?
minhee would most like to be remembered for her dancing skills and for being a kind and friendly idol who takes care of her hoobaes. she thinks a lot about the youtube compilations of her dance breaks from over the years, and how long they might be by the time her career is over.
day twenty - six: does your muse ever regret becoming an idol? do they ever think about what they would be doing instead if they lived a normal life? if they could go back in time, would they do everything all over again? or would they end up doing something else?
minhee’s number one passion is dance, and if she wasn’t an idol, she thinks she would most likely still be working in the performance field, whether as a professional dancer as part of a dance company or as a choreographer. ultimately, she’s happy that she ended up doing what she loves instead of entering the business field like her father.
day twenty - seven: after working hard on promotions, your muse is given the chance to take a two week vacation anywhere in the world at any time they want, with nobody bothering them. where would they go and when? why would they want to take their vacation there? if they had the opportunity to bring three other people, who would they bring?
minhee would like to go on vacation to paris, if given the opportunity. she visited there once as a child, but she doesn’t remember very much of it. she would like to go in the summer to take advantage of the good weather, and so she could eat pastries outside at a park. while she was there, she would like to go to the top of the eiffel tower and disneyland.
day twenty - eight: talk about your muse’s low point in life. why was this a low point in their life? what kind of challenges did they face and how did they feel about this? were they able to overcome it? if it is still ongoing, are they working on overcoming these challenges?
minhee’s lowest point in her career was during ‘ remember ’ era. it was just following goeun’s departure from the group, and instead of handling the situation well, bc shoved lip gloss into music show promotions with a dark, edgy concept much more suited to lipstick. being kept in the dark about all the legal proceedings behind the scenes, dealing with the backlash and the confusion from the public and vanities alike, it all added up to making it a difficult, difficult time for minhee, that really continued on until ‘ bingle bangle ’.
day twenty - nine: talk about your muse’s most meaningful moment as an idol. this is what they feel so far is the highest point in their life and where they’ve never been happier. recall the memory and describe it; what happened and how did they feel?
the most meaningful moment in minhee’s career so far was her first win . . . as a member of lip gloss. sure, winning with ‘ miniskirt ’, proving their worth to the company after so long, had been good and gratifying, but the instant success of ‘ catallena ’, winning with the type of song she’d wanted to do from the day she signed with bc, felt unbelievable.
day thirty: think about your muse’s life down the road. where would they be and what would they be doing? would they still be in the entertainment industry? would they settle down and have a family?
in ten years time, minhee hopes that she’s still involved in the entertainment industry somehow, if only because it’s the only life she’s ever known. probably not still as a full - time idol, but maybe as a dance mentor on television, running her own dance studio, things like that. minhee likes the idea of having a family one day, but thanks to her own mother’s glaring faults, finds it difficult to picture herself as a parent.

Flirting For The Entitled - Ch 2
I really do have NO CHILL. I couldn’t stop thinking about this silly little Christmas time prompt and what might have happened next. I am not actively working on this, but I’ll write little snippets as ideas come to me.
I’m thinking less a coherent plot and more slices of life. They may get posted out of chronological order if I think of something but I’ll try to re-label the chapters chronologically if that happens.
Ideas or prompts for this would always be welcome!

Buy Me A Coffee?
<<Ch 1   Ch 2   Ch3> (who knows when? If ever)
Back To School
Nathaniel abruptly slammed his sketchbook shut with a loud groan, his head falling forward and eyes shutting.
He just couldn't draw.
This had never happened to him. He'd had art blocks before obviously, but usually he would just change the drawing or doodle silly little pieces instead of anything important until it passed. He tended to get over it quickly enough that it was never an issue. But since the party a couple of weeks ago, sketching had gotten harder and harder to concentrate on and now even the most childish scribblings doodled in the margins of his notebook were—at best—abstract nonsense.
He kept his eyes closed, hugging the sketchpad to his lap tightly as the cool January air chilled him and he began to rock back and forth lightly to the music coming from his earbuds in an attempt to warm up.
He'd tried yet again to fit in a quick sketch, this time before the first day of school after New Year and so he'd arrived an extra ten minutes before he normally would have. Finding an empty bench had proved easier this way and he'd decided to just let his hand lead him across the paper in a sort of instinctual trust exercise. He'd thought the generic face he created had been a somewhat positive step away from his art block and had happily continued to draw without thinking, adding a few wisps of hair across the brow before adding a ponytail to make it a girl of some sort. The head had looked too bare so he had added a simple Alice band, detailing it more heavily when it appeared too subtle. Before he'd realised the head piece had turned into a pair of shades and he'd changed the mouth to show off a slight smirk.
That was when he'd slammed the book shut. Because while the picture wasn't yet Chloé, it was definitely on its way to becoming her and he couldn't deny it no matter how hard he tried.
Despite what she seemed to want he didn't like her that way so Nathaniel wasn't worried that her face might keep cropping up in his drawings because of some kind of hidden crush on her. But he had to admit that the shock of what she'd confessed to him at his party had sunken into his bones now and he couldn't avoid the weight of the knowledge on him every day. His mind kept drifting back to thoughts of her regularly as he tried to puzzle out if there was a moment he could pin down when she started liking him.
He'd cast his mind back constantly, first to the days preceding her little confession, then the weeks leading up to it and he'd discovered that she had indeed been really nice to him - in her own way, of course. Though he was seriously struggling to find anything that gave a sharp contrast between the then and now. Her behaviour seemed to have gradually morphed from mean to cheeky to coquettish in such a smooth transition that he was now pressed to find much difference between her insults and her teases other than her tone. For instance, she had regularly given him nicknames, most notably calling him Red but also throwing in any reference to the colour of his hair she could (Solo cup, Tomato, Stop sign, Clifford, the list went on). He had never really liked them but they hadn't been as bad as some of her past behaviour so he had built up a tolerance to them, assuming they were just low-grade insults. But lately they had seemed much more affectionate ways of getting his attention instead.
But what had messed him up the most, he decided, was the realisation that she had been flirting with him the whole time. A smirky smile here, a light brush against his arm there. The compliments he'd mistaken for insults were delivered just a bit too coyly to be anything as simple as praise for his drawing ability or interest in how well he was pulling off his outfit.
He groaned again as hindsight made him realise that one had been a particularly obvious innuendo which he'd completely missed at the time and his face burned in embarrassment at the memory of her little eyebrow raise when he'd failed to react.
He jumped suddenly when he felt a tap on his shoulder and he looked up to see the girl herself, standing in front of him in her warm winter coat and – he gulped – smiling sweetly at him. He quickly removed one of his earbuds to hear her.
“God, just how loud do you have that stuff Netflix?” she asked once she could see he was free to listen, “I must have said your name three times before I gave in and shook you.”
“Uh huh,” he said, an eyebrow raising sceptically, “How did you know I wasn't just tuning out those dumb nicknames and holding out till you used my actual name?”
“Oh please,” she said waving a gloved hand dismissively, “I have to use them all till I find my favourite. Although I think 'Red' is winning to be honest.”
She sat down beside him and before he automatically moved his leg away from her, Nathaniel reminded his self-preservation instincts strongly that he had promised to give her a chance at being his friend. He was not going to shrink away in fear of her saying something hurtful when she seemed to be trying so hard.
“So, what are you listening to anyway?” she asked tapping at the lose earbud which now dangled limply from the other, blaring away into the crisp air.
“Oh,” he said as he picked up the wire to ease the extra weight on his other ear, “It's a prog-rock band. I like a lot of their stuff but it's, uh a bit weird if you're not used to it.” Hesitantly, he offered her the other earbud. “Wanna see what you think?” he asked.
Chloé's eyes and smile widened and he swore the blue of her irises brightened as she looked at him. She gently took the offered wire from him, her clothed fingers brushing his bare ones as she did. She blushed heavily but didn't shy away like some girls might have and Nath suddenly felt his insides squirm uncomfortably.
He forced himself to refocus as he watched her reaction to the music playing in her ear. He couldn't hold back the snicker that escaped as she frowned and turned back towards him with a confused pout.
“What the hell?” she asked, puzzled, “What language is this? It's not French and I grew up around Daddy using English often enough to know it's not that either.”
“It's a language the band made up just for their music,” he told her, “Told you Magma are a bit strange.”
His laughter halted as her face turned suddenly devious and she leaned in towards him till he found himself leaning back in order to keep a comfortable amount of personal space between them.
“Magma?” she asked slyly, relenting in her invasion of his personal bubble and sitting upright again slowly as she watched him right himself as well.
“Uh, yeah?” he asked, brushing his hair out of his face in a nervous gesture to distract himself from how close she had gotten.
“As in red and hot? With a fiery interior hidden under a shy mountain?” she asked almost too innocently, the corner of her mouth tilted up to belay that she knew exactly what she was implying.
“Uh, um...” he said eloquently.
“I think I've found a new niiiiicknaaaame,” she sing-songed, her head bopping left and right.
“So, Lava boy, let me hear your favourite track before class starts already.”
Nathaniel fumbled for the controls on his phone while simultaneously fighting down the flush of pink dusting across his cheeks and darkening with every second. He had just started the song he liked best when Chloé rested her head against his shoulder to listen. He jumped a little and his phone flew out of his hand. He grappled with it comically for a second as he desperately tried to get a good hold of it before it finally hit the courtyard floor, pulling the buds from their ears as it went.
He groaned as Chloé moved to let him pick it up, eyeing the nasty crack in the screen as he did so. He ran his finger across the raised line and wondered if it would affect the functions or just be an eyesore for the next year until his parents let him have a new model.
“That was my fault, wasn't it?” she asked with a tremor to her voice.
“Nah,” he said, “you didn't do anything wrong. Don't worry about it.”
“But, I... surprised you,” she said, sounding guilty, “If you're free after school I'll take you to the person daddy has fix my phone when I drop it. They can usually fix a small crack like that in a couple of hours and I'll pay for it since it was my fault? I'll even buy you a coffee to make up for it?”
“Um, okay. Thanks,” he said blinking back at her genuine look of remorse.
“Great!” she squealed as her face broke out in a victorious smirk. She jumped up from the bench and moved backwards a few steps away from him as he watched with bewilderment. Her sudden movement and squeal had attracted a few onlookers from the courtyard and his eyes flickered around to make brief contact with some of his classmates. Amongst the small crowd he spotted Ivan, Mylène and Juleka who all regarded Chloé with barely hidden suspicion and Adrien and Nino who simply looked confused. He glanced back up at Chloé as her gaze completed the same circuit of people watching them before she narrowed her eyes seductively at him and winked.
“Then it's a date!” she announced loudly before turning on her heel and heading for the stairs to head to class.
There was a moment of complete, utter silence as everyone processed the blonde's words before turning in unison to stare at the red-headed, red-faced boy sitting wide-eyed and stunned on the bench before them.
So... Chloé had just sort-of asked him on a date. And he had unknowingly agreed. Which was sort-of terrifying, but not in the way he expected it to be. Which in of itself was vaguely terrifying too. And on top of that, she'd made sure everyone had known about it. Chloé Bourgeois wasn't trying to hide the fact that she liked him.
“Come on,” a gruff voice said.
Nath felt a hand rest on his shoulder and looked up with dazed eyes at Ivan.
“What?”
“It's time for class,” the larger boy told him, “You can freak out after roll call when no one can see you behind me. But right now, you're going to be late.”
“Right...” he said, still not in full control of his mental facilities but allowing his friend to guide him towards the stairs and the classroom.
Now if he could just make it past Chloé's desk without collapsing he could at least tally up one win for the morning.
Buy Me A Coffee?
Thomas Astruc has pointed out that the emblem on Nath’s t-shirt is based on the band Magma’s symbol so I glanced at their Wikipedia page and discovered they have their own language for their music. I thought it appropriate that Nathaniel like their music.

It can be hard to know what to wear these days. It’s freezing...
Tumblr media
It can be hard to know what to wear these days. It’s freezing one day and suddenly feels like spring the next. Lucky for us, it actually will be spring in just seven days! (Insert flowers, hatching chick, and dancing lady emoji here.) The arrival of spring means its time to store away our puffer coats and chunky turtlenecks in lieu of some lightweight jackets and airy knits. To navigate the tricky in-between-season dressing, we decided to take a peek at how our favorite Parisians approach winter to spring transitional dressing.
One outfit formula that popped up on almost every French girl’s Insta feed is the simple yet charming cardigan and jeans combo. Trench coats are also back in full force—ready for those April showers. And the perennially chic combo of midi skirt, knee-high boots, and sweater outfit is a classic and foolproof combination that works perfectly as the temps slowly start to rise. Scroll below for some cool spring outfit ideas all the cool girls are wearing in Paris.
A go-to French-girl favorite for spring. A cute cardigan plus jeans exudes effortless Parisian charm and is apropos for the warmer temps.
French girls have this outfit formula in their back pocket when they want to look instantly chic. Moreover, the boots and sweater will keep you warm in between seasons.
The beauty of a check blazer is that it defies seasons—you can wear it with almost any outfit at any time of year. Pair it with simple light-wash jeans, mock-crock ankle boots and a simple black top like our favorite fashion muse Sabina Socol.
As always with french style—the simplest outfit formulas can often look the most striking. A chic black top and straight-leg jeans look even better when paired with spring-ready mule sandals and an of-the-moment baguette bag.
French muse, Chloé of Loulou de Saison  shows us that a boilersuit is the perfect easy-breezy spring outfit. Keep the look polished with sleek white heels, and layer a lightweight top underneath to add dimension… and warmth!
Yes, we all want to wear groundbreaking florals for spring, but while the weather is still unpredictable throw on a cropped shearling jacket over your frock and a simple tee underneath it for a cool Parisian layered look.
Trench coats are to spring what peanut butter is to jelly. The lightweight raincoat is a staple in practically every french woman’s spring wardrobe. Pair it with a classic sweater-jeans-and boot combo for a unequivocally polished look.
Up next, these are the 8 shoe trends everyone will wear in 6 months .
