New oc guysss
Transcript below cut as I am well aware how poor my handwriting is.
River and Otter are a Mudwing failed chimera. They have two heads and 4 hind legs. The left head belongs to Otter whilst the right head belongs to River.
They fought in the war, most icewings avoided them as they were unpredictable. River later renamed herself to Delta. They are intersex and the big wings of the group. Their sibs are Grouse, Plover, Sphagnum and Asphodel (deceased ).

Delicious in Deltarune AU ramble !! Long post !!!!
(Ft Chimaera Hippogriff Dess doodles done in whiteboard)
Noelle, Kris and Susie end up retreating after getting to a lower level of the dark dungeon and encountering a darkner creature too difficult for them. They get separated from Dess, whom to their knowledge was severely injured before they got teleported by Noelle to the surface. After they recuperate and go on their way down again, they encounter Ralsei and Lancer, who join their party and help them along their journey.
Instead of monsters in the dungeon, it's darkners. Characters aren't specifically placed into dunmeshi character roles, but more so put into the world of dunmeshi. Deltarune's world and rules get adapted/intertwined with dunmeshi's. More info under the cut!
Kris - the leader. human knight with significant knowledge on darkners, can't use magic very well. Came from a family of royals. Their brother Asriel is a renowned knight.
Noelle - deer mage, specializing in healing + ice magic, beginning to get the hand of offensive magic. Comes from a rich family and went to magic school with Kris and Dess.
Susie - the party's tank, and 2nd magic user; a well known reptilian fighter among adventurers. Came from a poor family that she has since left behind.
Dess - the party's former leader, a deer mage with expertise in fire/light magic, but she can't use healing magic very well.
Ralsei - a royal mage with healing magic, main cook for the party. He's secretive about his past
Lancer - a runaway prince; he scouts out the environment/landscape for the party
Other characters/misc
Sans and Papyrus are searching for their missing sorcerer relative, who went mysteriously missing along with his party of 4
Berdly reluctantly joins mage Catti and fighter Jockington's party of two after realizing he can't venture through the dungeon alone. They don't want to admit that he's slowing them down however. When Kris' party find them, they’re facing off Queen and her minions.
I'm thinking some of the 'monsters' Kris' party could encounter would be different darkner bosses (I really wanna make them face off beast Spamton)
The layout/floors of the dungeon could be based on different dark worlds ??
Still figuring that out along with the dungeon's legend/prophecy (rn I'm thinking it involves a bit of the monster and human in the opening of undertale and a bit of the delta rune prophecy)
Here's the Dess doodles and also sorcerer Gaster. The caption above him was added by a friend lol
ID: Sketchy drawing of Dess as a hippogriff chimera. She has big antlers and long wavy dark hair. Below her neck, it transitions into a huge feathery body, with chicken-like front legs and taloned feet, and her hind legs and body resembling a deer's. She has huge feathered wings and a spotted tail. There is purple glint in her eyes. End ID
ID: Chimera Dess from a side profile view. She has her jaw unhinged, and reaches out with a clawed hand. The purple glint in her eye has grown. Surrounding her are other drawings other people have made on the whiteboard. End ID
ID: Chimera Dess from a partial front view, looking ominously below at something. End ID
ID: Gaster wearing a button up, dark colored vest and pants, a purple cloak with a determination star clasp, and iron boots and gauntlets with the determination star engraved on. He is looking to his left with tired eyes; his arms are at his sides, with his hands balled into fists. He has fangs, and short wavy hair made out of fire. Above him is all caps text that reads “I have always believed it to be morally sound to hit people with hammers“. End ID

holds a microphone up to you
I have chosen you to pick which Sans AU gets turned into a chimera next. You can also decide what type of dragon they can be or you can leave that up to me.
I already have Color, Killer, Cross, Epic and Delta.
:3c
too much pressure too much pressure too much pressure– /hj
Well, since we have the mpreg men here plus Epic, we should travel to another group: the mtt. Since Killer was already choosen, then I will go with Dust (of couse I would he is my current obssesion)
Since I'm obsessed with mermaid dust too, why not combine the two?
While I was researching dragon species, I came across the "Sea Orc", a species of gigantic aquatic snake that is considered a species of dragon. They are similar to Gyarados (pokemon).
Of course, I imagine it being much smaller lol
Since we already have a chimera that flies, why not one that belongs to the seas?
Of course, you can change his species, this was all just a suggestion :3

What are your thoughts on the use of "ΘΔ", and where do you see it as appropriate/inappropriate to use? Thanks!
This question might be better directed at my partner system House of Chimeras (@liongoatsnake), who wrote and published Symbols Found In The Alterhuman & Related Communities. I'm afraid that while I know about the theta-delta's general history, I'm actually not very well-informed of the history behind "ΘΔ" separately as a character set used by the therian community. I want to say it was started by Ember (@synanthropic) on Twitter in late 2019 or early 2020 (the earliest use of it I can find on Twitter through its search bar is here, when a polytherian mentioned it in a reply to a suspended account, and I know Ember's account was suspended sometime during the Naia debacle in 2019-2021, which makes me feel like I'm right about this timeline?), but beyond that, I'm afraid I don't know enough to say much on it besides things that are already obvious (i.e. that people shouldn't combine the symbol with known hate symbols/movements). If there's a major controversy connected to "ΘΔ," then I am entirely unaware of it and have no knowledge of such. Sorry anon!
#ask#-intense shrugging- Ask one of the other scholars in the polycule on this one. I don't know enough to really get what you mean here.#Unless you're asking me for advice on when you shoudl use the theta delta in public?#Which is something I'm still not... especially qualified to answer.#I can give you my advice on being publicly alterhuman#but where you draw the line for how public you are is your own decision to make.

My initial instinct when seeing Nymph´s kit was that she was slightly unimpressive, this was because I was under the impression that her terror debuff sent the enemy in a random direction. Which is kind of true, but it seems to ALWAYS send them *away* from their intended pathing, which in 99% of cases will mean delaying them. Allowing her S2 to be a very reliable permastall tool.
Combine this with one simple fact.... Primal Casters do not have modules yet, and when that happens I find it hard to believe they will not follow the trend of giving the 6 star a delta module, which for all casters so far is ALWAYS letting them apply elemental damage buildup on their own damage.
Which would make her S3 also pretty valuable, as the main thing holding it back from just... doing what we use Chimera or Command Meltdown for today but without any of the downsides is the fact that she cannot apply necrosis burst on her own currently.
My point is that while I do not think Nymph is a "must pull" (I would not call any character that), I think she is very strong and will get even stronger the second primal casters get a module.
And yes I do wanna read the story from the event but I have been really busy with work and when I am not working I am playing ZZZero. So It is likely gonna take a while. I know Tin Man and Ermengarde are both in it so I am winning either way.

got to hang out in minamo nature preserve all day with my buddy @wishmaker-astra and we saw all sorts of cool pokémon variants!
there are a lot of unique variants that are native only to this part of hoenn, like the shooting star zebstrika, the "fairygiraf" and its chimera counterpart, bighorn ampharos, fantail sceptile, echeveria venusaur, and rock lickitung
there are other variants that live here as well as in other places in hoenn, such as hoennic feraligatr, which are also native to the river delta down near bridgeport; strawberry swampert, which are common in any mangrove swamp; king pidgeot, which live in every mountain range across the country; and mossy onix, which can be found in forests and the jungle
feel free to send me asks about any of these--this is what i do for a living and i love it, so i could go on for hours!

FFXIV Write 2023: Prompt 8: Shed
(CW: body morphing/Sin Eater transformation/medical style injections/injuries, Character: Apple Silverberg, Setting: GA Apple, Expansion: Vague Shadowbringers spoilers)
Apple winced as she connected the final port, this one on the back of her wrist. She gave her body a check, straining not to move much as the other twenty seven connectors caused a good deal of pain if she shifted too intensely.
It was drastic, she knew, but... what else could she do? The Aetheric computations conducted here on chimeras were powerful enough to remove both the intense Light and Dark magics roiling through her body, and once that was done, she could try to pick up the shattered pieces of her life.
"input procedure 1-Alpha-Delta-Alpha-2-0-4." she instructed the Operating Node, and it wordlessly began to process her instructions.
She took a deep breath, preparing herself as the cords began to light up in vibrant colors, each corresponding the the requisite aether drained from the atmosphere surrounding Azys Lla. At first she was concerned the process wasn't initializing, but then the familiar feelings of aether sickness had her head and stomach both churning.
She did her best to stay still, not wanting to break any of the connectors. The process, thankfully only took five minutes, and as the node chirped, indicating completion, she took a look over at the readouts. "Huh, perfect synchronicity, almost exactly the equilibrium before the First..." she took little notes in her head.
A beep. An acceleration of Light aether. She frowned, checking it again. Rising levels, fast, too fast. She became lightheaded, her vision began to blur. "No! Nonononono!" she wailed, was it a feedback? The aether suppressed the entire time by Death, constantly? It couldn't be, could it?
She felt violently ill coughing up... white bile. Her panic came out in a wailing sob, she could feel a substance draining from her eyes and nose, and then painful cracking and.
The monitor nodes of the chimeric induction lab captured the sight of a woman morphing and shifting into a winged, gangly creature, the connectors violently ejected from her former body as the Light aether ejected from the wounds. The beast had a young woman's face in, tears of white pouring down its face as it took its first awkward steps, wailing in an unspoken agony.
And from that face, a curved blade erupted through, a black, clawed arm at the end of it gripped the torn hole and with shocking might tore it open, emerging from the creature as a levitating humanoid figure, wreathed in shadow, and large, tattered robes billowing in the aertheric magics flowing about it. The creature's head was obscured by a hood, eyes glowing a deep, piercing red that illuminated the face of a young woman, several rotating sickle blades dancing about the air around her.
The being looked over at the monitor node, and the last image it managed to record was the creature shifting away into shadows, and then a cold, sorrowful face as the being crushed it.

Orthacanthus is an extinct genus of fresh-water xenacanthid shark which lived throughout the rivers, swamps, lakes, and bayous of what is now Eurasia and North America during the Emsian of the early Devonian to the Carnian of the Late Triassic some 407 to 227 million years ago. The first remains of orthacanthus consisting of several neural spines and vertebrae were unearthed from carboniferous rocks in Great Britain by Dr. Louis Agassiz in 1836 which he described as a species of primitive skate. Several more spines and teeth would be found throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Nova Scotia Canada, and Ohio USA but were variously assigned to Pleuracanthus and Diplodus. In 1848 a well preserved full body impression of an animal was unearthed near Ruppelsdorf Germany by Dr. Goldfuss who described and named the specimen as Xenacanthus. However additional findings in texas of both Orthacanthus and xenacanthus in the 1880s showed a marked distinction in both size and morphology between the two taxa. These prompted additional studies which showed the German impression to be of orthacanthus and that Dittodus, Didymodus, Diplodus to be synoynomous with orthacanthus and that pleuracanthus was already an established genus of beetles as such all previous pleuracathus fossils are now considered orthacanthus. Today 11 species of Orthacanthus are considered valid: O. gibbosus, O. arcuatus, O. buxieri, O. compressus, O. donnelljohnsi, O. gracilis, O. milleri, O. minor, O. platypternus, O. pustulosus, & O. texensis. Reaching upwards of 10ft (3m) in length, Orthacanthus had a number of features that distinguished it from modern sharks including a ribbon like dorsal fin which ran down nearly the entirety of the animals back, and had paired pectoral & pelvic fins and 4 anal fins. A distinctive spine projected from the back of the head which is speculated to have been venomous, perhaps in a similar manner to a sting ray or chimera. As a large aquatic predator Orthacanthus would have fed upon boney fish, placoderms, sharks and other cartilaginous fish, amphibians, aquatic reptiles, synapsids, and various invertebrates. Interestingly orthacanthus seems to have been a highly adaptable organism with smaller and younger individuals living in shallower waters like ponds, rivers, and streams, while larger older individuals dwelled in freshwater lakes, brackish swamps/ deltas, and even coastal waters.

A-Major Subsys Sideblog
Side blog for spam/rambling (Ukulele also uses this blog to fight jerks)
There are a few subsys' within this one. We secided that well only add people if they use/want to use the sideblog cause theres a lot atp
Dni is same as main blog (@banesberry-anomoly)
We tag trigger warnings as they are (Ex. Gore is just tagged as 'gore')
If art is ever on here, well use the same tag as on our other blogs (Banesberry art)
Basic member intros under cut
Main 5
Clef.exe - Alto Clef/Claude [It/Hy/Eye/Deer/Lunar/Slash/Chomp/He/Shotgun/Bleed/Ey/Silk/Shi/Oak]
Ukulele.exe - Agent Ukulele [Any X neos/Bite/It/Chomp/Deer/E/Shadow/Web/He]
Fran.exe - Francis [They/He/Soft/E/Deer/Rot]
Delta.exe - Chimera/Delta [It + Any Beast Related Neos]
EM5.exe - Em-5 [They/It + Robotic Neos]
Subsystems within this one
Clef is a stacked median subsys called Trouble Clef, but I dont keep track of most of the facets cause theres fucking thousands due to multiverse source shit and trauma. There are a few people that are more ""fleshed out"" that hang around that will be tagged if they show up
Ukulele hosts Shadow Wizard Money Gang. Its called that because its funny. Theres currently 4 people in there total, but only one other guy will probably use this blog
Benreybenreybenrey.exe - Benrey [It/Any]
Timeskippers is also a subsys in here and runs a (currently stagnate) rp blog @multiversal-traveler-clef

looking at the palisade map for fic purposes and suddenly gripped by the desire for a dam removal plotline set in the bontive valley (which i looked at on the map and thought, huh, that looks like a delta to me, and then i thought to check the transcripts and am thrilled to report it's canonically described as a river valley; anyway,) i'd love for the ecological aspects of colonialism to come onscreen as this season progresses
also that caldera is just absurdly fuckin huge. do we think chimera's lantern maybe came out of there. like maybe (quickly measuring map) about 3% of the surface of palisade is still floating around in orbit. who knows.
