Blessed Laura Vicuna was the first born to a noble, Chilian, military family. Her father died young, leaving the family alone and without income, so her mother took work at a large estate and unfortunately became the owner’s mistress. Yet, Laura and her sister were able to attend the Salesians Sister’s school. Here she fell in love with Jesus and secretly promised her life to God for her mother’s salvation. In 1904, with her mother at her side, she revealed “Mamma, I’m dying but I’m happy to offer my life for you. I asked our Lord for this.” Her mother instantly understood, repented of her sins and begged forgiveness.

bashar murad is a good palestinian singer to check out. "maskhara" is one of my favorite song of his. zeyne is a palestinian-jordanian singer, and i really love her cover of "bala wala shi". elyanna is a palestinian-chilian singer and i really like "ana lahale" :) i hope this helps.

I really try to be inclusive to everyone and if I'm not, say I write a reader and say something alianting that I didn't properly tag like saying "blushed", or didn't tag it fem!reader or something, please let me know.

Also, I try to write diverse options so non-white, non christian readers can feel seen. I've written non-white Oc's and readers such as Jana who is afro-latina (Etheopian/Chilian), Lorelei who is vietnames, and Candy who is latina (Colombian), and muslim and jewish readers. I try my best to ask people in my life or other people to make sure I'm accurate, but I can always be wrong or say something offensive.

If I EVER misrepresent, am in correct, offensive ETC in my wrting, please let me know. You can comment, DM, ask on anon, whatever you are comfortable with. I never want to do anything that hurts my readers.

Same goes with gender identity and sexuality. I am bisexual and gender non-comforming (idk if I have a name or lable im cool with right now but I'm using they/them at this moment)

Although I am a part of the LGBT community, I can still be in correct. Being gender non comforming doesnt mean I dont accidentally say something transphobic, and being bisexual doesn't mean i am the be all end all for sexuality. If there is a discremincy in terms or stereotypes you arent comfortable with in fics, please come talk to me. Sometimes we arent going to agree, especial on an internatinal platform some terms are normal one place and horrificlly offensive others. But considering I write a lot of bi character, especially me writing Benny Miller right now. Come talk to me.

Let me tell you about strawberry’s bc they’re my fav fruit 😋

People have likely eaten wild strawberries for millennia, but cultivation officially began in the 1300s in Europe. People in France first transplanted the wild strawberry into the garden. In the 1600s, colonists discovered and shipped it to Europe. Though this species was hardy and delicious, it did not become popular until the end of the 1700s and early 1800s in England.

At the same time, a French spy discovered the Chilean strawberry and brought it to France in 1714. This species boasted a larger size than previous strawberries but was not hardy and was difficult the grow away from mild coastal climates.

When French cultivators crossed the Virginia strawberry with the Chilian strawberry, the magic happened. The resulting strawberry tasted great, had a substantial size, and was more hardy. This strawberry remained in favor until 1909 when the variety E.C. Howard of Massachusetts discovered a variety he called “Howard 17.” This strawberry had a tolerance to leaf spots and other diseases and eventually replaced the Virginia Chilian cross.
