Chicago P.D's Men as Your Older Brother
Wordcount: 1547. 230-290 each.
Reader's age and gender are not specified. The timelines may give a hint about the age differences, though.
Kevin Atwater
Raising 3 siblings was definitely not in Kevin's life plan. He has always been a good brother, but there's a huge difference between a brother and a father. Despite his insecurities, he did a good job. Kevin raised you, Vinessa, and Jordan with all the love in the world. Food, clothes, toys, birthday parties, doctor appointments, school work, he did it all. And he would do it again and again if it meant seeing you and your siblings growing up happy and healthy. When your father came back from prison, it took a toll on all of you. While Kevin tried to deal with his own unresolved feelings about your dad, you had a weird feeling growing in your chest.
“Who is this man? He is not my father, at least I don't feel like he is,” you told Kevin one afternoon after he mentioned your father wanted to meet. Kevin and Vinessa agreed with you, not really knowing how to feel towards the man.
“You raised us, Kev,” you said, looking into his eyes. “We never called you dad because you've always been Kev, our big brother. But you've been a dad to us all along.”
Later that night, you all got to an agreement: to give your father a chance. But he would never be number one. Ever. Kevin is and always going to be number one in your hearts.
Jay Halstead
It's no surprise to anyone that being a Halstead comes with a package: a talent for trouble and two very, extremely, unnecessarily protective older brothers. Jay and Will made sure everyone knew not to mess with you or things would get ugly really fast. Kids at school knew you had a cop and a doctor as your brothers, and you knew that was the reason no one ever laid a finger on you. This whole protective thing goes both ways, though. Jay will never forget the day you got home from a party with a busted lip. The reason? Apparently, to defend him.
“What?” the look of disbelief on his face was priceless. If this wasn't a serious conversation, you would be laughing your ass off. “Defending me? What do you mean?”
“We were talking, and suddenly the conversation shifted to police. This guy started shit-talking that all cops were dirty and did nothing for the city. Never in a million years could I stand there and say nothing!” you said in exasperation. “I told them how my brother saves lives every day and how much you and your team sacrifice for this city.”
Jay just stood there. His fingers came to rest on the bridge of his nose. Damn, he couldn't say he wasn't proud, but at the same time…
“Kid, that's nice and all, but would you mind not getting into fights on my behalf ever again? Jesus!”
Antonio Dawson
The Dawson siblings… your parents had no idea they would have to deal with 3 souls that feared absolutely nothing. Being the youngest definitely helped you feel even bolder. Having Antonio and Gabby protect you from everything and everyone made you feel like the safest person on earth. Growing up is never easy, but being a Dawson prepared you for a lot. With Gabby being in CFD and Antonio in CPD, your parents wondered if you would follow your sibling's footsteps. When the moment came to choose your profession, they were worried that would be the case. You, however, have no idea where your passion lies.
“You don't have to be so worried about this, kid,” Antonio said from his spot on the couch.
“How can I not, Tonio?”
“Come here, sit down,” he said, patting the spot beside him. You went and sat beside him. “It's perfectly normal to feel lost about all this. It's not an easy decision. “
“It was easy for you and Gabby. You always knew what you wanted to do.”
“That means nothing. Do you think we never had doubts? That we didn't struggle?” Antonio held your face in his hands. “You have our support. Always. It doesn't matter what you choose to do.”
“He's right,” Gabby said, having arrived in the room just now. “We love you, and we're going to help you find your way.”
Hank Voight
Losing a parent is something that can change someone’s entire life. You and Hank had to deal with the loss of your dad when you were both too young to even understand why he died. You and Hank were really different, but you both shared the wish to become police. To protect the city like your father did. Being the oldest, Hank became a mentor to you. He was there for you in every step of your career, being your biggest supporter. Being police somehow strengthened your bond and you guys grew closer as the years went by. You could be yourself without any fear with him, and he felt the same. When your brother lost the love of his life, his wife Camille, you were the only person he would open up to.
“I don’t know what to do,” Hank stared at you for the first time that evening. He’s been avoiding you since the funeral that morning. You knew he was scared to pour out his emotions, afraid he wouldn’t be able to keep going if he let himself feel all that pain.
“I’m here, Hank,” you held his hands that rested on the table.
“Do you remember how you felt when dad died?” Hank asked you.
“What? No… We were so young.”
“Exactly. I don’t remember hurting his much, you know?”
You felt your eyes fill with tears at his words. You got up and embraced him in a hug, hoping to pass him some comfort. “We’re going to be okay, brother. I got you.”
Adam Ruzek
As surprising as it may sound, having an older brother who never leaves you alone and is devoted to annoy you is not that bad. You were a really introverted kid, and for years Adam was your only friend. You were still a baby when your parents divorced. This made things even more complicated between them, but Adam has always been there for you. He held your hand when you walked for the first time. He taught you how to ride a bike and how to play football. Your dad always watched you two with fondness in his eyes. The three of you were pretty close. Bob was not perfect, but he tried his best. He knew that Adam felt like he had to protect you from everything, but sometimes that went too far.
“Adam, for the last time, tell me where the hell are they!” Bob was starting to lose his patience.
“Dad, I told you I don’t know.”
“You’re 20, for god's sake! You should stop covering for them.”
Adam choose to stay silent this time. They’ve been at it for 30 minutes now, and he already used all his excuses.
“Fine, you want me to go to the police station? I can find them and cause a scene, sending police cars to wherever they are!”
Adam’s eyes widened at this, he knew it was a lost battle now. He told your dad about the party you went to, already feeling sorry for all the scolding you’d get the next days. Later that night, Adam apologized for not being able to hold your dad longer.
You looked at him with a big smile on your face, “It’s okay, Adam. Do you wanna know how my date went?”
Dante Torres
Life could be hard. Too damn hard. You and Dante knew that very well. From a young age, both of you had to learn how to survive in a world where kids like you two were constantly thrown under the bus. Being a foreigner in the US was hard enough, but also being poor and living with an abusive stepfather made things worse. Dante had to grow up faster than usual. He had to become someone that you and your mother could rely on, even though he was way too young for any of this. Juvie. Gangs. You never lost hope that Dante would leave that life, find a good job, and be happy. The day he got into the academy was one of the happiest days of your life. Seeing him later in Intelligence made you so damn proud.
“I can't believe they're giving you a permanent spot!” you were jumping into his arms before he could cross the threshold.
“You saw my message?” Dante said with a smile, hugging you back.
“Of course I did! You got the job, I'm so proud of you!”
“Where's mom?” Dante asked, stepping back from the hug and closing the door. You could tell he was a little overwhelmed with the news himself.
“She will be back soon. We have a surprise for you,” you said nonchalantly.
“What? You guys didn't have to give me anything.”
“Don't worry, bald head,” you used the nickname he hated so much. “We want to treat you, for everything you did for us.”
You approached him again and held his hand, “We love you, and we're so proud.”
“I love you guys too.” Dante smiled down at you. “But never call me bald head again.”
“Okay, bald head.”
Please accept this post as my apology for being MIA… I had this idea the other day so I decided to write it.
I’m aware that Adam has a sister that was mentioned in the show, but I don’t remember much about her, so that’s why she wasn’t mentioned. The same goes for his mother. For the others, I tried to include their parents and siblings as much as I could.
Chapter 4 of Upstead Foster Daughter is half written because I want it to be longer than the others, but inspiration hasn't hit me in a while.
Thank you again for all the love on my fics. It means a lot to me seeing all the likes and reblogs ♡

Frostbitten Love
Request: Ok ok now you got me jumping on the Antonio train as well 🔥
Maybe an idea where you're working at Firehouse 51 and you both catch each other's attention when he visits Gabby and immediately somehow bond with each other, but due to bad experiences with guys in the past, you ignore your feelings as best as possible while Antonio always tries to get closer to you. One cold winter might, all the power wents off, leaving the district and 51 in nearly full darkness and coldness. A lot of helpers, including Antonio, come over helping the people out, and after some hours you all get a break and he finds you alone. So he sits with you and immediately cuddles you, keeping you warm, which also makes your heart melt and finally giving into him ? ❤️
Pairings: Antonio Dawson x Firefighter!Paramedic!Reader
Warnings: angst, fluff, mentions of abuse (verbal, physical, mental)
You moved from there to Chicago when they needed a temporary replacement and once the one you were temporarily replacing came back none of 51 wanted you to leave so after some begging from Chief Wallace Boden, and input from your team members and begging to Boden, you were a permanent member of 51 as a firefighter/paramedic. While you were in Colorado you were cross-trained to be a firefighter and a paramedic and this was your choice but it was also heavily suggested but your old chief, who you adored very much and he could say the same about you, of course he was sad to see you go but he understood that every firehouse wanted you and knew the day would come at some point. He heavily suggested it because when a paramedic or firefighter was out then someone could fill their spot immediately or if the ambulance couldn't make it to a scene quick enough everyone could do what they needed to do until they got there. So, when you got to Chicago and showed this it became a huge asset to them and that caused them to make you a permanent addition.
As you grew more accustomed to the city and your new firehouse you were quick to make fast friends with everyone and this extended beyond the firehouse, it extended to Intelligence and Med. You got to know them through being scenes or dropping patients off at Med. There was one person on your team that you made fast friends with and you would consider her as a sister, well you would consider everyone as your brother and sister but that is more in the first responder setting this went beyond that. Her name is Gabriela Dawson, she was the one to instantly connect with and she was dragging you to many events and not once you didn’t complain. You learned a lot about each other like she had a brother in Intelligence and she learned that you didn’t have any siblings and that you had just gotten out of a pretty nasty relationship, well all your relationships there were never great though some were good but most were nasty and left you with some crippling fear and some physical reminders of how bad it was. Along with becoming friends with Gabby you grew to know her brother, Antonio Dawson, and you must admit that he was very good looking, you so wanted to become closer to him and you wanted to even date him but that crippling always came back full force and it caused you to stay away.
You could clearly remember how you met Antonio; he had come into the firehouse looking for his sister for some police matter and ran into you. When he saw you, he instantly became entranced and wanted to get to know you more. He thought and still does think you are the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on and nothing you change his mind. You and Gabby had just come back from a call and Gabby had gone to talk with Matthew Casey about something while you took on the job of restocking the ambulance. You had your back turned to him to where the supplies were when you heard his voice and Kelly Severide’s voice. “Hey, Kelly. You know where my sister is?” Antonio’s voice sounded and it was smooth and you instantly fell in love but you weren’t going to show it.
“I think she’s talking with Casey but I will go and get her.” Kelly said
“Thank you.” He said
“No, problem.” Kelly replied and now it was just you and him in the bay. He didn’t speak but you knew he was still there but you weren’t going to make a move. You had gone into your own little space and forgotten about him until his voice was right behind you.
“I’ve never seen you around here before.” Antonio said and you jumped and turned around to him holding your chest where your heart is and breathing slightly heavy.
“You scared the shit out of me.” You said taking your hand away from your chest.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I’m Antonio Dawson, Gabby’s brother. She has told me a lot about you but didn’t tell me how beautiful you were.” He said, holding out his hand and you took your free hand that wasn’t holding supplies and shook his hand.
“All good things I hope.” You said completely ignoring the beautiful part. “I’m Y/N Y/L/N. I’m the new firefighter/paramedic. Moved here from Colorado. She has told me many things about you too.” You said and smiled and then released his hand.
“Well, it is nice to meet you and I hope it was all good things you’ve heard.” He said and was about to say something else but Gabby came over to the two of you.
“I see you two finally met. Kelly said you wanted me?” She had said pointing the last part towards her brother.
“Oh yes. It was about your last patient.” He said and you looked at her.
“You can tell him. I’m gonna finish restocking.” You said and she nodded and then nodded to the kitchen area.
“I’ll see you around Y/N.” He said and you smiled and nodded and then they went into the kitchen leaving you alone. Once you heard the door shut you turned around and smiled like a fool to yourself. Once the ambulance was restocked you had gone into the firehouse itself and went to the bunk area and laid down. So, you didn’t get to see Antonio leave and you were somewhat grateful for that. As you laid you thought about him.
The next time you saw him was when everyone had gotten off shift and headed over to Molly’s. Everyone had just finished a 3-day shift and you were very much looking forward to having a drink and then going to bed and sleeping for the next 2 days, not really but it’s going to feel so nice to actually sleep without bells ringing sometimes every second. “So, what is your plan for the rest of your 3 days off?” Gabby asked as you grabbed your bag, she already had hers on her shoulder and she was just beginning to make her way to her car.
“Well, Kelly and Casey asked me to go to Molly’s with the rest of you and I agreed, so that. Then afterwards I’m going to go home and sleep in my own bed for three days and enjoy not having to get up a bell for what seems like every second.” You said and she chuckled.
“I’ll probably be doing the same but I just know that Antonio will be dragging me somewhere.” She said as the both of you reached your cars. Your heart picked up just a beat at her mentioning her brother but once again you didn’t let it show. “You know he has not stopped talking about you.” She said.
“Oh?” You asked and she nodded.
“Every chance he gets he’s asking about you.” She said
“I’m not that interesting.” You said as you threw your bag into the back end of your car.
“He begs to differ.” She said and you shook your head.
“I’ll see you at Molly’s.” You said and she smiled and nodded.
“I’ll see you there.” She said and then you were getting in and starting your car up and then heading to the bar called Molly’s it's mainly known as a first responder bar but everyone was allowed in, it was owned by Christopher Herrmann, Randall ‘Mouch’ McHolland, who were two of your co-workers, and Trudy Platt, who worked at the precinct and somehow the two of you hit it off, and Stella Kidd, is a worker and manager. It wasn’t a very far drive and you were thankful for that. You pulled into a parking spot close to the bar and under a streetlight. You were quick to get out and rush in like you could outrun the cold that seemed to take over the city quickly. When you were in you were instantly met with the heat and you basked in it until a voice was calling out to you that you recognized as Connor Rhodes, you looked up and smiled at him as he made his way over to you.
“Hey.” He said and hugged you and you hugged you back.
“Fancy seeing you here.” You said as you both released each other.
“Just got off shift.” He said and you were following him to where he was sitting with some of his fellow co-workers, some Intelligence, and some of your coworkers.
“So did we.” You said and the talking, laughing, sharing stories, and cases went on throughout the night. You had volunteered to go and get more drinks and while you were up there ordering Antonio had walked in and when he spotted you, he smiled and walked up to you.
“So, we meet again.” He said and you turned to him and smiled.
“Seems like it.” You said, the bar was busy and considering it is a Friday night you expected it. So, when it was taking longer to get drinks you didn’t mind one bit. The two of you talked and he tried to get closer to you but you weren’t allowing it. When you eventually did get your drinks, you were heading back to the table with him following behind carrying the rest. For the rest of the night everyone laughed and had a great time. Throughout the night Antonio did not take his eyes off of you and when it was time to leave, he was walking you to your car and making sure you got in safely and then watched you drive off.
************************
It was now December and Chicago was experiencing its coldest winter ever. The pipes were freezing and there were icicles hanging from the power lines and bringing them down enough that it was causing them to make power outages happen, some even breaking. No electricity meant no heat in people’s houses causing them to be without heat. When no heat was getting into people’s houses meant that the firehouse became a shelter. The firehouse being so big and an emergency center meant that there were some fairly big generators and several of them and considering you were from Colorado it just made sense.
The big power outage just had to happen when you were on shift. You had just come into work and everyone met in the meeting room. There was chatter when Boden walked in and everyone became silent. “Alright listen up. It’s one of the coldest winters that Chicago has ever experienced. Electricity is going out which means that heat is going out and a lot of calls are going to be coming in so be prepared for that. For people that don’t have electricity or heat know they can come here, shelters and the schools are opening up since generators are set up for here, shelters, and the schools. Blankets will be available and passed out and the bunks and any available space will have cots set up. Food and water will be passed out as well.” He said and everyone either gave a nod or gave their acknowledgement letting him know they heard him. As he dismissed everyone and started to set up cots and get supplies ready. As you were getting blankets out you looked up and saw Antoino and all of Intelligence coming.
“Hey.” You said, you had gotten to know him over the months but still wouldn’t get close to him but that might change tonight.
“Hey, we decided to come down and help.” Antonio said and you smiled.
“Thank you to all of you. We need some help moving and setting up cots and getting more blankets down.” You said and they nodded and then you were telling them where to go and who to ask about things. As everyone divided and went their separate ways but one stayed and that would be Antiono. As the time turned into hours and a bunch of people flooded in and some other first responders and medical staff had decided to come down and help. All of Intelligence had decided to come down and help, a lot of people were split up to help at the firehouse and others were sent to the shelters to help down there. You were becoming exhausted; you were non-stop going and Antonio saw this but even he didn’t have time to go over and check on you since he was busy. After making sure you were doing ok from afar, he paid a lot of his attention to the people coming in.
“Hey, Tonio!” Gabby’s voice sounded to his ears and he looked up and smiled and saw his sister.
“Hey, Gabs.” He said and hugged her.
“The amount of people coming in is slowing down. So, why don’t you go and take a break? It’s bound to pick back up soon and throughout the night.” She said and she nodded as they released each other.
“I think I will.” He said and she smiled and walked away. He looked around for you but couldn’t find you so he started to walk around. When he couldn’t find you inside, he decided to look outside so he grabbed his coat and put it on and headed outside and that is where he found you, sitting on a picnic table looking up at the sky. The moon was full so the moonlight hitting you made you look like an angel, in his eyes. Snow was still following and it was following in your hat and that made him smile. He also noticed that you had your issued Chicago Fire Department winter coat and beanie on and that made him happy that you had grabbed it. He stood there watching you for a second before he decided to make his way over to you but you seemed to notice his presence.
“Staring is rude.” You said still looking up at the sky and didn’t stop until he was sitting beside you.
“You’re too beautiful not to stare at.” He said looking you in the eyes. “What are you dining out here? It’s freezing.” He said as if he wasn’t used to the harsh weather that Chicago threw at them from time to time.
“I needed a break from inside. Don’t get me wrong I love helping people but sometimes you just need to get away. Plus, the weather and darkness reminded me of Colorado.” You said and he smiled and nodded and you turned to look out over the nearly dark city. It was silent for a minute and then he was talking again.
“Come here.” He said and you turned your head and looked at him and he had opened his arms up. You hesitated a beat having a mental fight with yourself and decided that this man had been so good to you and has tried his best to get close to you that you were going to give him a chance. All the months that he had been getting close to you or at least trying to you were falling in love with him.
“What made you become a firefighter/paramedic?” He asked and you looked back over at him and your cheeks were tinged pink despite you being bundled up and you Chicago Fire Department beanie on and him cuddling you. Maybe you were blushing but you’re going to blame it on the cold.
“Well, the firefighter part runs in my family and I never wanted to break that tradition. I love helping people in need and I love the adrenaline rush. My old chief pushed all of us to cross-train to be a paramedic just in case the ambulance couldn’t be there in time or more were needed on scene.” You said and he held onto every word and you could tell and you appreciated that, none of your other relationships paid attention to you when you talked about your profession. As you sat and talked and looked out into the city watching the snowfall and covering the roads further the cold was getting hasher and actually getting to you despite the heavy winter coat you had on and you started to shiver slightly and he took notice of this. Antonio never once took his eyes off of you and he was smiling hearing you talk. It was silent again.
“Can I ask why you won’t let me get close to you?” He asked and you sighed and looked at him. You knew this was coming.
“When I lived back in Colorado my relationships weren’t the best. Most of them cheated on me and most were abusive to me, mentally, physically, and verbally. After my last one I vowed not to get in a relationship not wanting it to happen again. But then I met you and everything changed and you made me see that not all men are evil. I didn’t want to get close to you at first because of that fear but after getting to know you all these months and you holding me now is making me change my mind.” You were honest with him and he listened.
“I understand but I will never hurt you and if I did then my sister, all of 51, Med, and Intelligence would let me have it. You’ve made quite a few friends.” He said and you chuckled. “Will you give me the chance and let me take you on a date and let me show you that I will never hurt you?” He asked and you had already made up your mind before he even finished his sentence.
“I would love that.” You said and he smiled.
“Can I kiss you? I know it is fast but I can’t wait a second longer.” He said and you chuckled and nodded.
“Yes.” You said and so he leaned down and kissed you softly and you kissed him back just as soft. Sparks seemed to fly when your lips connected and you knew this relationship would be different. You don’t know why you waited for months. Maybe part of you wanted to protect you from getting hurt again and maybe it was the trauma that kept you from being loved. This kiss undid everything and you found safety within him. You’ve made up your mind and you were going to let him show you how it is to be loved and how a guy could be a great boyfriend to his girlfriend.

Hello beautiful, just wanted to thank for writing stories and giving us reader some of your time. I don't know if you are open for requests but I give it a try. 🤍🙏 I'm in desperate need of a voightx reader fic, angsty hurt and comfort and fluff. Maybe you like my idea or get some inspiration to write something similar.
The reader is working with intelligence and Voight is instantly taken aback by her appearance. She is also attracted to Hank. But they keep their feelings for each other hidden. One night the goes out for drinks and in their tipsy state the reader and Hank make out.... The next day Voight is giving her the silent treatment and is also cold and unfriendly to her, just ignoring the fact they kissed. His unfair behavior goes on for days until she gets him to talk to her, telling her that is was was mistake and she should move on leaves her feeling more hurt and heartbreak than ever. The situation is also taking a physically toll on her, with no appetite and her deathly sick appearance the team instantly worries.
We all know Voight would think he can't give her what she needs or be good enough fir this kind and beautiful girl.
Later on there's a guy hitting on her and Voight pushes her to date the stranger (secretly dying from jealousy, but believing another man can give her all she needs). The date ends catastrophic when she realizes that the guy drugged her, secretly and in panic she calls voight in her dizzy and weakening state and manages to tell him the bar they're currently. Not able to defend herself in her drugged state the guy is able to drag her to his car in the parking lot. She's struggling and fighting for her life, he gets frustrated and beat her up..... Voight comes just in time and keeps the guy from kidnapping her. Nearly conscious and beaten Hank takes her to his house to attend her injuries and to take care of her. Some fluffy end in which he admits his feelings for her... 🤍🙏
Currently I am sucker for caretaker fics, with sick and hurt reader. The intelligence team would be soo cute taking care and at a Hank Voight who hides his feelings and worries for the girl just get me 😍
I am soooo sorry for this long request, but I have this idea in my head since forever and I just needed it to share, in desperate hope a talented writer might create a good story. Don't hesitate to tell me if this sucks.
Lot's of love 🤍
Eat the World Raw
Authors Notes: This is an anon request, of super protective yet jealous Voight. I hope I have done your request justice anon, my apologies for the serious delay on this I have a hideously busy job these days and I find it hard to find writing time.
Summary: Reader is a new starter on the Intelligence Unit, and is instantly taken with Voight. After sharing a drunken moment, Voight pushes reader away. But a panicked phone call changes everything.
Warnings: Mentions of drink spiking and assault. Angst and fluff too. If you feel there should be any other warnings, please do let me know.

"Hey Boss, the new recruit is here." Antonio called out to Voight, as he walked you to your new desk. Dropping your bag to the side, you pulled off your coat.
"Thank you Detective, I appreciate your help." Smiling, Antonio nodded his head,
"Call me Tonio, everyone else does. Come on, we can get you some coffee, you're gonna need it." Nodding, you followed him to the break room. Tonio gave you the rundown of the most recent case the team was working on. A gang was currently running drugs through the city, and the intelligence unit was still unsure of how they were managing to go undetected.
"Wow... that sounds like a lot. You know, I worked a case once where a gang was using the postal service to distribute their drugs. The leaders brother used to work for them, and kept a master mailbox key." Antonio looked surprised,
"Huh... that... could actually be plausible."
"'TONIO!" Whipping his head round, he watched as Voight stalked in, a deep frown on his face.
"I thought you said the new starter was... here..." His voice trailed off as his gaze focused on you. You felt your breath leave you, as though you had been gut punched. You'd been told a lot about Voight, had been told what a hardass he was. Never taking no for an answer, scaring off more teammates and pissing off coworkers more than anyone else in the CPD. What you wasn't prepared for, was for how handsome he was. Yes, he was at least twenty years older than you but you couldn't help yourself, you let your eyes roam over him. From his boots, all the way to the black button down shirt with a black leather jacket over the top.
Clearing his throat, Antonio stepped forward.
"Boss this is (Y/N). I've already brought her up to speed with the case, and she's actually given a decent idea of how the drugs could be being moved around the city." Antonio frowned, looking at Voight, and then to you.
"Boss?"
"Huh... yeah?" Clearing his throat, Voight gave a tight smile and held out his hand.
"Nice to meet you (Y/N), glad you're all caught up." Averting his gaze, he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Uh... Tonio, I need you to run down a lead. It's the one that Ruzek brought us yesterday, take the newbie." Looking back up at you, he gave a small smile and quickly turned around heading back to his office.
"Um... he seems... intense." Your voice sounded shaky. You quickly took a large gulp of coffee, wincing as it scolded your throat.
"Yeah he um... I think he's a bit stressed right now." Tonio frowned, then quickly smiled.
"Okay, let's go." Striding back out, you grabbed your coat and badge. Risking a quick glance behind you, you saw Voight in his office watching you.
--------------------------------------
The case took a nasty turn. The gang that was peddling drugs, seemed to have looped kids into their dealings. Picking the weak and neglected kids whose parents wouldn't give a shit as to their whereabouts. You kept your head down, working hard and not getting underfoot. Learning the ways and methods the team worked, but you could start to feel the pressure of this case sinking into your bones. You felt angry that innocent kids were being used, and made to believe that they were cared for. You rubbed your face, the night had settled around you causing the light from your screen to become harsh to your eyes.
"Hey (Y/N), it's late. Come on, we're all going for a drink." Glancing up, Halstead smiled from his desk as everyone else pulled on their coats, shutting down their computers. huffing out a sigh your stretched.
"Yeah sure... okay sounds good."
You all headed to Molly's, grabbing a booth in the back you sat and powered through a few beers. As the mood lightened, jokes started to fly around along with casual conversation. Soon you found yourself laughing at Ruzek and his ridiculous stories.
"There room for one more?" Glancing behind you, you found Voight staring down at you intently. Swallowing hard, you nodded and shifted your chair over.
"Sure thing Boss." Voight grabbed a chair and sat next to you.
"Thanks, and when we're not on shift, you can call me Hank." Smiling, you took a sip of your drink. Feeling more confident, mainly because of the ten or so beers flowing through you, you leant in closer to Voight.
"Thanks. So... Hank... how has your day been?" Smiling, Hank watched you for a moment, then lent in further.
"Well it has been busy... but I think we are making good progress, and the drinks are certainly helping right now." With that he took a large gulp of bourbon, causing a colour to rise in his cheeks.
The night continued, with the team drinking and laughing. The more you drank, you found yourself relaxing into your seat which incidentally lead to you leaning further into Hank. You enjoyed the warmth that came from him, the smell of his cologne, the deep laugh that vibrated out of his chest. You tried not to squirm as you felt yourself becoming flushed with excitement.
"Okay guys... I need to get to bed. I'd like it to be at least a month before I drunkenly embarrass myself. " The others laughed and jeered, trying to persuade you to stay as you pulled on your coat.
"I'm gonna head off too, (Y/N) I'll walk you out." Waving bye to everyone, you headed to the door, your mind racing at the thought of Hank being so close behind you. Rummaging in your bag you found your phone, pulling up a taxi app.
"How you getting home?" Looking up, you smiled and showed him your phone.
"I was going to get a cab."
"Ah, don't worry about that I'll give you a ride. Come on."
"Oh you don't have to..."
"I know I don't have to, but I want to. It's late and I can at least know you're safe." Dropping your phone back into your bag, you pulled your jacket closer around you.
"Then lead the way Boss." Smirking at him, as he raised an eyebrow, he lead you across the street to his truck. Climbing in, you sank into a soft leather chair. The air was heavy with Hanks smell, and coffee.
"So... where do you live?" Shutting the door behind him, Hank started the truck and turned on the heater. Giving him your address, you pulled your seatbelt on. The drive was quiet, but not uncomfortable. Hank maneuvered the truck smoothly through the light city traffic, occasionally asking you questions about your previous jobs. Before you knew it, you were outside your house. Stopping the truck, he placed his arm behind your chair, quietly watching you.
"Thank you, Voight. I appreciate the lift."
"You're welcome sweethear'." You felt a heat creep over your face at the endearment. You dropped your gaze not wanting him to see.
"Well um... goodnight. I..." Before you could finish your sentence, Hank had tilted your face up, his hand remaining under your jaw.
"Just... a taste." You blinked and felt as his lips pressed against yours. Moaning quietly, you reached your hand up grazing the back of his neck. Pulling him in closer to you. You're not sure at what point it happened, but you ended up pulled into Hanks lap, slowly kissing him for what felt like hours. Humming quietly, he pressed his head against yours.
"I um... I should probably go. I need to be fresh for tomorrow... I don't want my boss to get pissed at me." Smiling, Hank let you shift out of his lap and into the passenger seat again.
"I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bright and early boss." Climbing out you headed into your house, Hank remaining outside until you had locked your front door. Hank rubbed his face and pulled his truck out onto the main road. What the fuck had he done.
-------------------------------------------
The next morning Hank got to the office bright and early. He didn't want to be disturbed by anyone. This case was starting to piss him off, and he didn't want to fuck around chasing any more dead beat leads. He noticed as the rest of the team trickled in, all of them having a haggard look that suggested they'd all drunk a bit too much last night. He noticed how you watched him through the blinds of his office, like you was waiting for him to call you in for a chat. He probably should talk to you, but he just couldn't do it right now. He was too pissed at himself to even consider having a civilised conversation.
He made sure he kept busy for the rest of the day, he didn't want to speak to anyone unless needed. He chased down lead after lead until he managed to find one that was promising. After ten hours, and a painful conversation with a local informant, Voight managed to track the ring leader down and haul him and his gang into lockup. He left Antonio and Burgess shutting down the lab, and bagging up evidence.
"(Y/N), with me." nodding quickly, you followed Voight out into the stations car park.
"I'm sorry about last night, I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have kissed you."
"I didn't mind Hank, I actually enjoyed..."
"No... it won't be happening again. I am too old for you, and I won't be able to give you anything that you want. So it's best to just... forget about it okay." It killed him to see the pain and hurt in your eyes.
"Hank I..."
"It was a mistake (Y/N), okay?" He didn't meant to raise his voice, but he saw the anger building in you.
"Not a problem Boss, I've already forgotten." Watching you march back into the building, he groaned inwardly, kicking himself for his tactless approach.
For the next few weeks, Voight watched as you worked alongside the team, effortlessly working leads and solving case after case. He couldn't stand how pale you had become, how when everyone else had lunch you seemed to find a reason not to eat with them.
"(Y/N), eat something will you. I don't want you passing out on shift." Whipping your head round, you glared at Voight as he stalked past you. Grinding your teeth, you forced yourself to answer.
"Sir." Grabbing your coat, you nodded to 'Tonio.
"I'm heading out for some food, want anything?" 'Tonio shook his head,
"Na I'm good, thanks (Y/N)." Nodding, you headed out.
You didn't realise how hungry you were until you were half way through a footlong sub from the local deli. Your stomach ached in protest and delight at the amount of food you were consuming. You couldn't help but think about how Voight had kissed you that night, it had felt glorious. You hadn't dated anyone for a few years, hadn't really had the time. You'd enjoyed your job too much. But when Voight had kissed you, you felt a new rush, a new thrill. Then the fucker had ditched you.
"Asshole." Throwing your rubbish in the bin, you headed back into the office. Taking the stairs two at a time, you wasn't focused on the people around you and you slammed into someone.
"Shit... I'm sorry I wasn't watching." Glancing up you found a guy in front of you smiling.
"(Y/N)! Christ I haven't seen you in years." Focusing on the face attached to the voice, you saw it was Jacob. A guy you had gone through the academy with. Huffing out a breath, you gave a wane smile.
"Hey, Jacob. How you doing?" Nodding, he grinned, stepping closer to you.
"Yeah I'm good thanks, I'm working over with homicide now."
"Sweet." You shifted your gaze, looking up to where you wanted to go. He glanced behind you, eyes going wide.
"Are you... you up in Intelligence?"
"uh-huh."
"Holy shit that is amazing, I've heard Voight is a right hardass... is that true?"
"I can be when pushed." Jacobs eyes widened as he spun round.
"Um... sorry Sir, I didn't mean anything by it." Smirking Voight clapped him on the shoulder,
"Don't sweat it. (Y/N), when you're ready we've got a lead to run down." Turning, Voight headed up the stairs to the rest of the team.
"I should head up." Moving to follow Voight, Jacob caught your arm.
"Hey do you fancy grabbing a drink tonight, after work?" Glancing up the stairs you saw Voight had slowed down, probably trying to over hear your conversation.
"Um... yeah I'll uh... I'll let you know. Big case, not sure what time I'll be finished."
"Yeah... yeah okay sounds good." Heading up the stairs, you caught Voights eye.
"Hey... you dating that guy?" Frowning, you glanced up at him.
"I... no I went through the academy with him. He just asked if I wanted to meet for a drink."
"Hmm... you should go. You're a young woman, you should get out from behind the desk." Watching him closely, you leaned in looking for any hint of a joke.
"You... okay sure, why not." Turning on your heel you marched into the office heading straight to your desk to phone Jacob. If Voight insisted you go, then you'll go. If only you'd turned round, you'd have seen the fury burning in his eyes.
-------------------------------------------
Checking your reflection, you smiled. You'd picked your best emerald green dress, it dipped low at the front and hugged at your hips just right. You felt good for the first time in a while.
"Forget Voight." Grabbing your coat and bag, you headed out the door.
You found Jacob at the bar sipping on a beer, spotting you he grinned.
"Wow... you look amazing!" Grinning, you pulled your coat off and placed it over the bar stool.
"Thank you, you scrub up well yourself." Gesturing to the bartender, you ordered a red wine.
"Cheers." Taking a big sip you smiled. You looked around the bar, seeing all the different people chatting and drinking. You felt yourself relax a bit into your seat.
"So... how's your case going?" Looking up, you were stalled for moment.
"Uh... yeah it's going okay. It's a tough case but we're getting there." You didn't overly want to chat about work, as it reminded you of Voight. Jacob seemed to get the hint as you didn't expand any further on the subject. You sat quietly for a moment, just sipping on your drink. After a while, you both seemed to just relax into a conversation, reliving the academy days minutes passing into hours.
"You feeling okay?" Jacobs voice seemed to pull you out of a blurred moment that you didn't remember going into.
"Hmm? oh... yeah I'm fine, I'm just... gonna head to the bathroom okay?" Smiling, he nodded.
"Okay, well uh... shall we head out after this? Maybe find somewhere to get food?" Standing up, you nodded holding onto your chair for dear life.
"Yeah that's fine." Grabbing your bag, you headed to the bathroom, feeling your legs wobble and your head start to swirl. Pulling in a deep breath, you focused on the toilet door, not wanting to look more drunk than you were.
Pushing open the door, you leant on the sink and stared at your reflection. Your pupils looked blown, but you couldn't tell. You couldn't focus. You tried to remember how many drinks you'd had, tried to remember anything but it was all becoming a hazy dream.
"Shit.." Stumbling into a toilet stall, you locked the door behind you and rummaged in your bag pulling out your phone. You truly hoped you'd punched in the right number.
"(Y/N)?" Hanks voice cut through the phone, relief flooded through you.
"Han..k... I need... come help... been drugged."
"Where are you!" You felt yourself slowly drifting off.
"I... I'm ... bar...South side... bird...bird... Spar..." Your voice drifted off,
"Bird... the Sparrow... you at the Sparrow!"
"Yea... bathro." Your world went black.
Voight drove like a madman, sirens blaring not caring who he cut off in the process. Hold on, please god hold on. The streets were a blur as they flashed past him in a haze of lights and noise. Pulling into the car park, Voight spotted a guy hauling a woman to his car. Stepping out, he recognised it as Jacob. Picking up his pace, he started towards him catching your voice as he got closer.
"No... get off you sick fuck."
"Stop struggling... you know you're going to love it." Hank watched as you swung at him catching him in the mouth, but it didn't stop there. Jacob slapped you, and punched you in the stomach. Hank was at his back within seconds. Grabbing him by the hair, he slammed his face into the side of the car, continuing to punch him as he slid to the ground. He wouldn't have stopped, could have killed him had it not been for your voice calling to him.
"Hank..." Looking behind him, he saw you stirring on the floor blood pouring from your mouth.
"Shit... (Y/N), I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Scooping you up, he carried you to his car putting you in the passenger seat. Peeling out of the car park, he sped away from the bar. Glancing over at you he took your hand,
"Hey, (Y/N) stay awake alright. We're nearly there." You let your head lull to the side, the warm air from the heater and the blow to the head making you sleepy.
"Where's there?" you murmured out.
"Home."
-------------------------------------------
Waking up, your head felt heavy, your vision blurred. Rubbing a hand over your face, you realised you no longer had your dress on but a soft t-shirt with the letter CPD stamped on the chest. Your body ached, and yet you felt content in the soft confines of the duvet.
"Hmm... s'good."
"(Y/N)?" Glancing to the side, you found Voight sitting in a chair next to your bed.
"Hey, um... what am I doing here?" Reaching out, Voight took your hand and held onto it gently.
"You rang me last night, you went out for a drink with the Jacob guy and ah... he um... he spiked your drink." Frowning, you tried to remember but all you could think of was the toilet stall you had sat in.
"I got there just as he was dragging into his car, but you resisted and uh.. he hit you a few times."
"I um... christ I don't remember much I'm sorry Boss. Guess that's why my head hurts hmm?"
"What! No, don't be sorry, that scumbag is the one who should be sorry not you! I'm... I'm just glad I was able to get you out before... well I'm glad I got to you." Smiling you squeezed his hand with yours,
"Thanks Boss."
"'Tonio checked into your boy, and he's not a cop, well not any more at least. He didn't make it passed being a beat cop, he assaulted two women so he got fired." You felt your stomach churn.
"Well... maybe next time I should get you guys to run a background check on whoever I plan on going for a drink with hmm?" Dropping your head back into the pillow you winced as pain flared through your eyes. Looking around the room, you saw that it was rather warm and, oddly enough, cosy.
"We won't need to do that." Voight sounded a little nervous, something you had never thought he could be. Tilting your head, you gazed at him intently,
"And why's that hmm?"
"Because I'm not a creep who preys on women, so you'll be safe."
"Wha..?" Sighing, he shifted out of his chair to sit on the edge of the bed, running his other hand over your hair. It only occured to you now that this was Hanks house, Hanks bedroom, Hanks shirt that you were wearing.
"I shouldn't have encouraged you to go on a date with that guy. What I should have done, was date you myself. But instead I... I got nervous. Nervous that you'd see I wasn't anything but an old, beat up cop too stuck in his ways to make you happy in the ways that matter." Sitting yourself up, you leaned into Voight and kissed him. You wasn't sure how long it lasted, or when he had gently pushed you back leaning into you. Running your hands up his arms, you traced your fingers over his broad back. Breaking away, you pressed your head against his,
"You know, you never even asked what makes me happy. If you'd had just asked, I think we would have saved a lot of time... and spiked drinks." Smirking at him, he shook his head.
"Yeah I know, I'm a dumbass." Laughing at him, you brushed your hand over his jaw.
"I'll let you off, on one condition." Voight raised an eyebrow, and hummed quietly.
" You um... take these jeans off and stay in bed with me for the day hmm?"
"Yes Ma'am, you don't have to ask me twice." Standing he slowly unbuckled his belt, and unbuttoned the jeans. You felt a heat build in your face and stomach. This was going to be... an interesting day.

Who is a girl dad and who is a boy dad: Matt Casey, Kelly Severide, Brian Otis Zvonecek, Jeff Clarke, Sam Carver, Will Halstead, Ethan Choi, Connor Rhodes, Crockett Marcel, Jay Halstead, Adam Ruzek & Antonio Dawson?
Before I answer this I want to remind everyone that I don't currently write for Chicago Fire. I probably won't ever do reader inserts for it just because I'm not a huge fan and I feel like that show died a painful death around season 4. But I will attempt some of the headcannons that hit me the right way. This one was just too fun to pass up.
I didn't do Sam Carver-Sorry I didn't make it to season 11- I stopped at 6/7ish.
I also want to say of course I think they would be good with the other gender too. I just wanted to pick one to be fair to the question. I spent way to much time on this and made them way longer than necessary lol. Hope ya'll enjoy and thanks for the ask <3
Will Halstead: Boy Dad!
I think Will needs to have a son. I think raising a mini version of himself is exactly what the doctor ordered (pun completely intended). We all know that Will has a stubborn streak a country mile wide and that when he gets an idea in his head, he can't let it go. Could you imagine that in child form? His red headed little boy going through a stubborn streak where is sure that any green food is icky because he didn't like peas. How about when he wears his basketball shoes to bed every night of the season because he is sure if he doesn't his team will lose? A son would teach Will to be more flexible in his viewpoint because his son will challenge his- well everything. The questions his little boy will ask with have Will rethinking things he never thought to question.
The main reason I think Will needs a son is that he can heal the wounds his dad carved into him. He gets to understand the struggles of raising a child with a personality like his own. It helps him better understand his father's frustration but he also never felt more disconnected from the man. Because Will could never understand the need to make his child feel the way he did growing up. Disconnected and a disappointment. Will raises his son the way he would have wanted to be raised- with understanding, acceptance, and praise. No one is prouder of their son than Will Halstead is. And with all that love, attention, and support Will gets to see his son not only live his life but thrive in it.
Ethan Choi: Girl Dad!
I don't think that surprised anyone. Ethan is a hardass veteran. He is all structure all the time. He kept getting better as time when on but you know what would push him along and make him absolutely melt? A little girl with dark hair and lashes. He thinks he will be a strict parent-and when it comes to school and safety he is. She will learn how to protect herself and have good enough grades to do anything she wants when she graduates.
But when it comes down to the little things Ethan has a hard time saying no to his little girl. Because she is warmth and innocence. She is the biggest smiles and climbing onto his lap to cuddle. So does it really matter if her clothes don't match because she loves them. And who really cares if they have dessert before dinner on occasion. And how can anyone say no to her staying up late so that they can have father daughter time- even if it is just them rewatching Star Wars for the millionth time.
Connor Rhodes: Girl Dad!
Connor absolutely spoils his little girl- not with money- but with attention. He doesn't want a nanny or money raising his baby. From the very beginning he makes a promise not to miss a single doctor's appointment and he nearly keeps it too- an emergency trauma caused him to miss one ultrasound. He takes the full paternal leave that is offered through work to bond with his blue-eyed little girl. He barely puts her down not wanting to miss a minute. His daughter is the biggest daddy's girl. Her first word is dadda and she says it nonstop for almost a month.
When he goes back to work, he books mandatory time with his daughter. He goes to at least three tea parties a week. When she gets a little older, they share a hobby of making food. It starts out with her helping him cook and trying recipes together. When she starts forming a preference for baking the dynamic changes slightly. They teach each other recipes and are a dynamic dinner duo. There are some growing pains. Connor struggles with his little girl not needing him anymore. He has tears in his eyes when she tells him, "I will always need you daddy."
Crockett Marcel: Girl Dad! (This is also just true to the show)
Crockett cherished every moment with his little girl. When she is a newborn, he holds her constantly and lets her sleep on his chest. Then he starts using a baby wrap to carry his daughter and be hands free. The long stretchy cloth was supposed to be a gag gift and obnoxiously bright fluorescent colors with a bold feminine print, but Marcel wears it with a smile. (It was a gift from Ethan to welcome him into the girl dad club. He included a gray one too, but Marcel only wears the bright on around work and his collogues.) The constant affection because a habit and his little girl has a hard time falling asleep anywhere but daddy's chest.
Crockett is a constant picture taker as his daughter grows. He phone memory is maxed out with pictures of her. He teaches her to speak Farsi. Every important or emotion filled conversation between the two is spoken in Farsi. Every tragedy, accomplishment, argument, exciting news, heartbreak and success. There is a comfort in words and bond the word share between the pair.
Jay Halstead: Girl Dad!
Jay fully embraces being a girl dad. He dresses her in the cute girly outfits. He learned how to take care of and do her hair. He never found a braid or hairstyle he couldn't master that his little girl wanted. He even kept extra hair ties in his wallet because she was constantly loosing or breaking them. He let her paint his nails bright pink and yellow while he watched the sea hawk's game. He always got up to do the dance parties and twirl her around. He never complained about playing dress up or wearing a taira or a brightly colored feather boa. And he was always willing to give up his half of the bed so that she could cuddle up with him after a nightmare or just because she got lonely in her room by herself.
Jay is a supportive dad. He does everything in his power to give his daughter the confidence to do anything and everything that she wants to. He wants her to feel safe enough at home that she can be daring (but not unsafe) in her choices. She can go against the grain, and he will still be proud of her. He supports her when she wants to play softball instead of do ballet. Then supports her when she decides that she like science and then when she hates it. He just smiles and buys her lava soap and Gojo pumice hand cleaner when she decides to take an automotive class instead of economics. The only thing that Jay struggles to be supportive of is when his little girl starts dating. He reconned her first date he watched her twist the guys wrist back when he tried to grab her butt then storms away after giving him a piece of her mind. Jay is proud of her boundaries but feels guilty for spying- even though he didn't get caught. He stops spying on dates but can never stop himself from giving them the talk with his gun and badge on his hip (Even well into her twenties).
Adam Ruzek: Boy Dad!
Adam had a good relationship with his dad growing up. He knows what a good dad looks like. His father sacrificed a fulfilling career to be able to be there for his son. Adam struggles with not being able to do the same. He misses games and holidays. His son says he understands but it is clear in his eye that his is disappointed when Adam doesn't show. But he makes up for it because when Adam is there- his all in. He helps his son practice his slap shot and cheers the loudest at his son's hockey games, he helps him with homework (even when he doesn't understand it and has to google it, gives him advice on girls (even when he doesn't want it), and checks him when he needs it.
It takes a lot for Adam to hard check his son. His son is a good kid- even if he does tell him at 10pm that he needs a posterboard for his school project that is due the next day and it is worth 1/3 of his grade. But when his son vandalizes a store with an Asian owner to get in with the "cool" crowd Adam loses his shit. He might even be madder than the store owner. His son thinks he is kidding about the consequences- Adam is a cop surely, he can get him out of trouble. Adam makes him stay 24 hours in holding, then has to apologize to the store owner. The owner doesn't press charges. He has to clean up his mess and the rest of the store and work to pay off any damages- even those caused by his "friends", and he is grounded indefinitely. His son learns the lesson the hard way, but it sticks with the added bonus of falling for the storekeeper's daughter.
Antonio Dawson: I cheated with this one because he actually has a son and a daughter. So instead of picking I'm doing a paragraph for each.
Antonio is from a large tight knit family for better or for worse. That means for the first few months his fighting to be the one that gets to hold his little girl. He practically has to steal her from his mom, Gabby, and all the other female relatives. The only thing that is to his advantage is that his little girl loves him. Whenever she sees him she is always saying and reaching for daddy. She is a beautiful, happy baby with dark curls and brown eyes. Antonio buys a new gun and then another, and then another. He figures he will need them all by the time she finally finds someone worthy of her to settle down with.
Antonio raises his son with the expectation that someday he will be the man of the house. He wants his son to know responsibility and how to take care of himself and other. To stick up not only for himself but for others that can't. He teaches his son to be aware (but not fearful) of his surroundings. Antonio's son takes all of it to heart. When Antonio gets a call that his son had laid out a bully for teasing a shy bookish girl. Antonio doesn't scold his son whose suspension ends up being more of a vacation. He just asks if he put his weight behind it and pats his son on the shoulder when he said he had. When the shy girl starts coming over to help his son with his homework almost every day, he isn't surprised to walk in on them making out on his couch. He is, however, surprised when his son brings her to his boxing gym to show off and that shy little girl throws one hell of a punch.
Greg "Mouse" Gerwitz: Girl Dad! (I added this one)
When he finds out that you are pregnant Mouse is afraid when he finds out that the baby is a girl, he is terrified. His daughter is so small and fragile. When she is placed gently in his arms his world changes. He has spent enough time at war to know that it is always the woman and girls that are at most risk. How could he possibly protect her from everything when there were so many bad people in the word. Mouse dotes on his little girl but keeps her close. He has worries that civil fathers don't. When she becomes weary of other people and children at age two clinging to his leg he wonders if it was his fear that was passed onto her. Even when people assure him that it was the typical age for stranger danger. Mouse painstakingly (and with Jay's help) starts to change his behavior. He doesn't want his little girl to have the anxiety and hypervigilance that he has to deal with. As Mouse eases up he watches his little girl's personality bloom.
She gets downright spunky. She is curious too. She learns technology with a swift ease. She spends a good deal of time on her daddy's lap and the clicking of a keyboard is relaxing. DESERVING ━━ Antonio Dawson x fem!reader
author's note; this one has been in my drafts for a while and honestly i have mixed feelings about it. but oh well, i might as well just put it out lol enjoy <3
summary; antonio had only ever been casual with her, but called it quits a while ago. only to come back after a rough case, finally realising it wasn't so casual after all
━━ ☄. *. ⋆
Molly's wasn't as crowded that night. She sat at the bar, nursing a drink in her hand as she rested her head in her palm with her elbow on the bartop. After a long day of back-to-back surgeries at Med, all she needed was a drink to wind down.
For the past couple of months, that drink was with some company. Tonight, it went back to the usual routine.
She wasn't sure where any of it went wrong. She hardly even realized there was anything wrong, really. Maybe it just wasn't right.
She took a large swig of her drink at the thought. The only thing that kept her mind off him had been her patients. Now that she didn't have that, she zeroed back into him without wanting to.
He'd consumed her entirely in the short months they were together. She should've known better. Getting involved with a man recently divorced – what was she thinking?
It felt so good to just be wrapped up in someone after long, awful shifts. And it was a win-win situation. She wasn't the only one benefiting from it.
Refusing to sit at the bar any longer, she shot her drink down in one go and left some cash on the bar. Usually she'd be chatting with Hermann before she left. Not tonight.
She didn't want to drive after that. Maybe she'd only had about two glasses, but she didn't want to take any chances. So she walked. She'd take her car in the morning.
Her apartment was just down the block anyway. It hardly took her more than five minutes to get back there.
Fiddling through the keys in her hands, she turned down the hallway towards her door. Stopping short when she looked up, very nearly dropping her keys.
“Antonio?”
Her voice came out uncertain.
He turned instantly. His fist dropped, he was just about to knock on her door.
For a moment the man just stood there and looked at her. He put his hands back into the pockets of his coat, rocking on his heels slightly as he cleared his throat.
“Hey,” he greeted.
Hearing his voice again seemed to sober her up suddenly – if she was even that tipsy in the first place. The last time they'd spoken to each other was three weeks ago. The time he hit the brakes on what they had.
“Hi,” she nodded.
Antonio hesitated. He dropped his gaze for a second, before shrugging lightly.
“Look, I uh–”
He met her gaze. She hadn't moved an inch. They were facing each other in the hallway of the apartment.
“I just wanted to check on you,” he admitted gently. “It's been a… rough day.”
She nodded slowly. It had been a rough day, for sure.
Bomb threats all over important locations in the city. Police stations, schools, hospitals – Chicago Med was the very last. They may have mostly been a hoax, but Intelligence didn't take it lightly.
Antonio's team was all over it. The second one of those bombs was real, dropped off at the park just within half a mile radius from Chicago Med – they went head first to find the perp. He ran with his team to investigate it all, while she was busy rushing the victims through surgery.
“It was,” she agreed. “It was rough.”
The keys tapped along her palm lightly as she looked at him. Neither of them seemed to be able to tear their gazes away.
“And how are you?” she then asked softly.
Antonio only stared at her. He looked tired. Like he always did after long cases like this one. These bomb hoaxes had been going on for weeks. It was only today that something truly happened.
And while they haven't found the perp, he took a small step back and let his team play their part as well.
“I've been better,” he replied.
She let out a slow breath. Holding the key in one hand, she gestured to her door lightly.
“Wanna come in?” she offered.
She wasn't sure why she did that. If it was even a good idea after everything.
After all, it was him who said they should stop. That it wasn't the right time for either of them. That they should probably work out their own careers first.
Antonio took a beat. His lips parted to speak as he looked at her, then he glanced at her door.
“Is that okay?” he asked.
She only stepped past him in response, unlocking her door and stepping in. Holding the door open to the side, she gestured for him to enter.
The place was just like he remembered. Although, he doubted much would change in merely three weeks. They ended up standing on two different sides of her kitchen counter, a bottle of beer in each of their hands.
Antonio glanced around the place, his fingers lightly tapping on his beer bottle.
“You finally got the heater to work,” he commented.
She'd been having an issue with her heater forever, it felt like. But now as he stood there, he realized it was warmer here despite the cold outside.
She hummed, nodding as she took a sip of her beer.
“I got a new one,” she replied. “Nothing lasts forever, right?”
Their eyes met. Something about what she said made them both pause and think. She didn't mean to imply anything, but she noticed what she did a second too late. Her eyes dropped and she took another sip of her beer, no longer knowing what to do with herself.
Antonio was just as bad. But he did know how he felt, at least.
“We were good together,” he spoke softly, breaking the sudden silence.
She paused. His words were like a wound in salt.
He knew he shouldn't. He shouldn't be pushing after he was the one that had broken her. But he couldn't stop himself. Suddenly he was around the counter, beer bottle abandoned as his hand reached up to cup her cheek.
When she looked up at him it was with those same doe eyes he fell for. The ones that made his blood rush and heart pumping. The ones that felt like a breath of fresh air after being cooped up for so long.
“I messed up. And instead of fixing it, I made it worse,” he told her. “And I'm sorry. I don't say it as often as I should, but I'm telling you and I mean it. I'm sorry.”
The words hung heavy in the air for a moment as she simply stared up at him with her soft, tender eyes. There was a clear hurt still in them and it made his heart clench.
“I don't deserve you. I really don't. But God if you let me, I'm willing to put in the work. To be the man deserving of you. I just… I just need your word. And your time of day.”
When he continued, she didn't even notice the way her eyes watered. This was the most vulnerable this man had ever been with her. Her heart was thundering as she realised she never got over him. And she knows she never will.
She didn't say a word. She didn't give him an answer, not verbally. Instead, her hands reached up for his jacket to tug him down gently so their lips could meet.
And when she kissed him it was with everything she had. It wasn't lustful or hungry. It was pure love and desire. A yearning that never once faded.
When he kissed her back, she knew then. It was undeniable — she was his. And he was undoubtedly hers.

Antonio Dawson x Reader | Baby Daddy part 2.
Warning!: (18+) mature content, includes smut.
Mentions of pregnancy.
You'd met several times more since your first encounter, each day ending with the two of you entangled in each other's arms.
Antonio had ramped up his charm, not just for the sake of his task but because he'd truly fallen for you that fast.
He insisted on driving you anywhere and everywhere, assuring you it was due to his concern for your safety.
He'd accompany you on ridiculously long shopping trips, offering his opinion on the items you'd choose and always carrying the bags.
He'd somehow shifted into bodyguard mode and he knew he would earn favour with your father for it, he'd left nothing for your father to worry about, leaving him able to continue his crime filled life.
Antonio was driving you back from your scheduled PT session when he noticed a shift in your mood, you seemed tense and that concerned him.
He wondered whether something had happened with your PT or worse, that you'd somehow figured out his real identity.
You were ripped from your thoughts as the car came to an abrupt halt at the red light, your body slightly jerking forward.
"You gonna tell me what's wrong? You've been quiet ever since you got back in the car." He asked as he glanced over at you.
You shrugged, avoiding his gaze as you looked back out of the window.
"It's nothing."
Your dismissive tone was almost infuriating, since there was quite clearly something.
"Doesn't seem like nothing. Someone piss you off? That personal trainer of yours?"
There was growing frustration in his tone, he just wanted to make you feel better.
Your lack of response drove him crazy, he reached across the middle console for your jaw, forcing you to look at him.
Cars were frantically honking their horns as the green light had appeared, but Antonio remained still as he awaited a real response.
Your eyes widened at his intensity, his touch may have been unintentionally intimate but it left you rubbing your thighs together regardless, and he noticed.
"You've got five seconds to tell me what it is, or I'll never touch you again."
He was bluffing, but his cold tone suggested otherwise.
His hand fell from your jaw to take hold of the gearstick, and with the car finally in motion, you plucked up the courage to tell him.
"I'm ovulating, and Its making me irritable." You admitted, rolling your eyes before looking back out of the window.
Antonio's grip on the steering wheel slowly tightened, he lost focus on the road ahead as he tried to process your confession, the thought of your fertility making him painfully hard.
He placed his free hand on your upper thigh, stroking it gently with his thumb.
"Let me put you out of your misery, baby."
You grew tense beneath his touch, heat already pooling at your core.
"You can't." You replied, your breath audibly heavier as you attempted to contain your growing arousal.
"I can, and you know I can. We'll be careful, I'll stop by a store and get some condoms." He glanced over at you, his eyebrow slightly raised as you shake your head.
"No. If I can't have you how I want you, then I won't have you at all." You replied, stubbornly crossing your arms as you look ahead.
You knew what you were implying, your hatred for that latex barrier was strong and he didn't particularly care for it either.
"Then take me, exactly how you want me." He gave your thigh a firm squeeze, smirking at the slightly confused expression on your face.
He wasn't stupid, he knew what unprotected sex during peak ovulation meant, but the risk was all the more exciting.
He didn't wait for a response, pulling his car into the other lane before turning into a nearby alleyway.
No words were spoken as the two of you rushed to remove the clothes from your lower half, Antonio pushed his chair back to avoid the two of you feeling cramped.
He patted his thigh, motioning for you to sit. "Come on baby girl."
You climbed over the middle console to straddle his waist, placing one of your hands on his shoulder to steady yourself while your free hand took hold of his cock to align him with your core.
He roughly took hold of your cheek, pulling you in to a hunger fuelled kiss.
You immediately reciprocate while slowly sinking down onto him, you gasp loudly against his lips at the feeling of fullness.
"That's what you wanted, isn't it sweetheart?" He whispered, dropping his hand from your cheek to take hold of your waist.
You nodded submissively, pressing one last kiss to his lips before setting a desperate pace as you fucked yourself on him.
Your high pitched moans made the hairs on the back of his neck stand, he knew he wouldn't last long.
"How good does it feel baby?" He asked, groaning beneath his breath while his hand slid beneath your shirt to cup one of your breasts.
"So good, so fucking good." You moaned out, tilting your head back a little as pleasure flow through your veins like electricity.
Antonio hadn't planned on dragging it out for too long, he just wanted to cure your suffering before taking you home to pleasure you properly.
He took hold of your hips once more, holding you still as he thrust into you at a rapid pace.
"If you don't get pregnant, it'll be a miracle." He whispered breathlessly, groaning as he felt your walls flutter around him.
"You want that? You wanna have my baby?" His tone a hint darker as he finally uncovered the real reason you hated using contraception.
He was oddly flattered considering you the circumstances, the fact you hardly knew each other, but he didn't question it.
It didn't take long for him to reach his climax, he'd continued to hold you down on him as much as he possibly could while he came inside of you.
Your upper body collapsed against his, resting your head against his shoulder as you pant heavily.
"I'll get a plan B first thing in the morning." You whispered reassuringly.
Your father had randomly summoned you and requested that you bring Antonio, you were unsure how he knew of his presence in your life but dared to argue.
Antonio informed the team, knowing the bust was inevitable as he'd planned to play into your father's hands enough that he'd trust him with even his deepest darkest secrets.
They stood on standby outside the hotel you'd agreed to meet at, awaiting the signal to move in and arrest any and every suspect.
Antonio held your hand in his as the two of you walk into the hotel's casino, he didn't know how any of the following events would play out but he knew for certain he didn't want to let you go.
"We don't have to do this.." you whispered as you look up at him, aware of your father's intensity.
He shook his head in response, lifting your linked hands to his lips to press a gentle kiss to yours.
"Baby, I wanna meet your dad. I love you."
The warmth in your gaze made his heart wince uncomfortably, he meant that he loved you but you may never believe him once you discover the truth.
Your father cleared his throat obnoxiously, forcing the two of you to look over.
"There's my darling girl." Your father smiled, motioning the two of you over with his hand.
The way he looked up at Antonio made you uncomfortable, your grip on his hand tightened out of growing fear.
Antonio gave your handle a gentle squeeze of reassurance, smiling as he looked over at your father.
"Leave the grownups to talk, will you sweetheart?" Your father rhetorically asked, lifting his hand to shoo you away.
His condescending tone made Antonio's skin crawl, he'd have slapped the cuffs on him right then if he could.
"It's okay baby, go sit down.." Antonio whispered as he leant in to press a gentle kiss to the side of your head.
You reluctantly let go of his hand and he could see the worry in your eyes as you stare up at him, the level of concern was heartwarming to him.
Antonio sat beside your father as you walk away, clenching his jaw to remain tolerant of such company.
"I'm gonna be straight with you. I've heard from several people within my circle that you've spent some time with my daughter. How serious is it?" Your father asked, turning to look at him with growing curiosity.
"I couldn't be more serious. I love her with all my heart..she means the world to me." Antonio replied, smiling as sincerely as he possibly could.
Your father cracked a smile as he heard how lovingly Antonio spoke of you, nodding slightly in approval.
"I had my suspicions, but I've heard what you do for her, how happy she is because of you..you're worthy in my eyes." Your father lifted a hand to pat Antonio's shoulder before giving him a gentle shake.
"Anyone who treats my girl like that is welcome into my family. I'd assume you'd want to give her the best life you could, right?" He asked, shifting closer to the edge of his seat to get closer.
Antonio nodded, growing increasingly tense as he felt the impending climax of the moment, mentally preparing himself for what would soon unfold.
"I've got a few side businesses I'd entrust to you, as my son in law. Seventy thousand every couple of days, all you have to do is receive the shipments if you know what I mean." Your father winked, confident that Antonio would catch on.
"You wouldn't have to get your hands dirty, I've got men for that. You just look after it, and you take the payments. That should be more than enough to support the woman you love.." Your father reassured, unaware that he'd basically just sold himself out.
Antonio could have cursed at your father for how easily he exposed himself, how his own exposure was now confirmed.
"Oh, so I can just kick back and eat popcorn while a couple of dogs do all the work?" Antonio playfully smirked, he'd dropped the code word for the team's response.
Within a matter of seconds, the casino doors flew open and armed officers stormed the building.
"And here I was thinking you were smart, you've just confessed to a cop." Antonio smirked, standing up with such force the chair fell backwards.
With gunshots repeatedly fired, furniture thrown around carelessly, you were left with nowhere to hide but behind the couch you'd just sat on.
You were terrified, shaking in fear but Antonio was too preoccupied to help as he had to ensure your father didn't escape.
You were frozen in place as you watched the carnage unfold, your chest heaving while tears flood your waterline.
Your dad repeatedly called out your name in distress but you could barely hear it, ringing in your ears now drowning out the noise.
Everything you thought you knew was one big lie, but the fact Antonio had used you to uncover the truth was what made you violently nauseas.
You pushed yourself up off the ground, running for the lobby of the building in hope of escaping the nightmare you were now faced with.
In the panic, Antonio had allowed his team to arrest the perpetrators while he searched the building purely to find you, he couldn't let you believe you meant nothing.
He was panting heavily as he came rushing down the stairs, you'd turned your head at the sound of heavy footsteps and that's when your eyes finally met.
He froze still as the look of pain and betrayal in your eyes made his heart wince, he was drowning in guilt.
You looked away in disbelief at the sight of him, unable to stomach even being in the same room as the man you loved so deeply.
You needed to leave, to sob your heart out in privacy but Antonio wasn't going to let you go just yet. He chased after you as you tried to leave, slamming his hand against the door in front of you to close it.
"Baby, you gotta hear me out. I didn't mean for this to happen, I swear!"
Rage started to build at the sound of his voice and the pathetic explanation he was about to offer, your hands were starting to tremble.
You slowly turned to face him, clenching your jaw as you brace yourself to look into the eyes of your lover whom had just betrayed you.
Antonio let his hand fall from the door once witnessing your compliance, he brought that hand up to your cheek to hold you desperately.
"I love you, you know that right? Every second I spent in your company was like a taste of heaven, I need you to know that." He was frantic, his eyes repeatedly searching yours for an insight into what you were thinking.
Your breath grew audibly heavier as your rage boiled over, you lifted your hands to Antonio's chest to shove him back before harshly striking his cheek.
The sound of your hand colliding with his skin echoed, it forced his head to turn away but he didn't react as he knew it was well deserved.
"You lied to me. You used me! You made me believe you were in love with me when in reality, you were just playing a game." You spoke through the painful lump forming in your throat as you desperately held back your tears.
You watched as he stood still despite the unimaginable sting from your slap, his cheek was visibly warm.
"I let you touch me." Your voice cracked, a stray tear rolling down your cheek while your bottom lip slightly quivered.
Antonio had never hated himself more, he could barely breathe with the weight of shame on his chest.
You looked up as the rest of the team hesitantly walked in, unaware of what they were disrupting.
"Everything okay, Antonio?" Adam asked as he looked over, sensing the tension in the air.
You scoffed as you looked up at Antonio, that final nail in the coffin was discovering the real name of the man you loved so deeply.
You roughly wiped away a tear, turning away from him once more but your movements were halted as you felt him trap you in his arms.
"Everything I ever said to you was real. Every time I told you I loved you, I meant it. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.."
He raised his slightly trembling hand to stroke your hair, his one arm remaining around you to hold you against him out of fear you'll slip away.
Confused glances were shared amongst the team as they watched on, Hank was growing visibly annoyed with Antonio's irresponsible decision.
"I never want to see you again." You replied, forcing your way out of his grasp before turning to face him, the hopeless look in his eyes was enough to make even you feel guilty.
In your final moment together, your mind flooded with the memories of your shared sleepless nights where you lay entangled in each other's arms, the endless talk of the future and the intimate details of your past.
"Have a nice life Antonio, or is it Mateo?" You glared up at him through blurry eyes, still holding on to the tears from a moment ago.
Antonio was riddled with guilt and shame even months down the line, his feelings for you never wavered despite how much you resented him. He'd asked Jin to keep a watchful eye on your every move, which was almost a full time job in itself considering how great of a socialite you were.
Jin found nothing out of the ordinary for a while, visits to your regular bar and countless shopping trips with impressively long receipts but it wasn't until several weeks later that he'd stumbled across something he'd have to investigate further. Due to the monitoring of your debit card that Antonio himself had requested, he'd discovered frequent charges made by the Chicago medical centre but was hesitant to see any real concern due to the clear continuation of your every day activities so he'd questioned whether informing Antonio was even necessary.
When he had brought it up, he realised his decision not to share the information with Antonio sooner only created more of a workload for himself. Antonio could barely handle the information he'd recently been given, his mind was racing with all sorts of possibilities, the theme of death often repeated.
He wasn't going to let you die without conveying his feelings for you, he had to see you and make sure you knew just how much he loved you.
He knew the risk if he were to see you again, that a bullet would likely be wedged into his chest if he came close to you, but even that wasn't enough to stop him from driving to your home to see you one last time.
He'd parked his car on the opposite side of the street, neither your car or the car of your fathers men were outside your home but he was determined to wait until you'd returned, he was curious as to your whereabouts but he'd concluded that you'd gone to the medical centre considering the noticeable pattern he'd detected through your bank statements.
He leant forward to rest his forehead against the steering wheel, closing his eyes for just a brief moment to process just how damaging his actions were towards someone as innocent as you.
He was regretful, he'd never intended to cross the line drawn between the two of you but your presence was so intoxicating it became harder to restrain himself each time he was in your company.
A roaring engine in the distance tore Antonio from his thoughts, lifting his head to look in the rear view mirror at the car approaching.
A nervous lump formed in the back of his throat as he'd recognised the car, his grip on the steering wheel tightening as he realised he was just moments away from seeing you again, possibly feeling your fury once more.
He waited for you to park before reaching for the door handle, waiting for you to open your door before he'd opened his own.
He only needed to see your feet touch the floor before he'd practically flung himself out of the car, unintentionally slamming the door.
He jogged across the road impatiently, unable to wait even a second longer.
"Y/N?" He called out as he walked over to your car, desperate to see what kind of state you were in, whether it was as deadly as he'd expected.
Antonio froze as you stepped out of the car, his gaze instantly falling to the prominent bump your skin tight dress highlighted.
The frequent hospital bills suddenly made sense, but pregnancy was never even a possibility in his mind.
He questioned if he even had the right to be angry that you'd kept his own child's existence from him, but given how horribly he had treated you, he felt it fair.
You were visibly taken back by his sudden presence, a tiny part of you even felt guilty as you saw the look in his eyes.
"Prinseca.." he whispered softly, raising his hand to reach for your cheek before loosely cupping it. His thumb hovered over your cheekbone while his visibly teary eyes remain fixated on yours, he was overwhelmed with a mixture of emotions at his discovery. Despite everything he felt towards you and the growing difficulty of the situation, he couldn't help but look you over so affectionally, he never knew it was possible for someone to be so beautiful.
"You're pregnant.." he whispered almost breathlessly, glancing down at your rounded belly with nothing but pride before hesitantly raising his free hand to place against the side of your growing bump.
You tolerated his touch for just a moment, almost swayed by his affectionate gaze and gentle reaction before you harshly pulled his hand from your cheek, shoving him back with slight force to create distance between the two of you.
You scoffed in disbelief, your heart racing with both adrenaline and fear as a very small part of you wanted to embrace him.
"Unfortunately for you, yes."
Antonio's eyes widened, your comment hurting him just as much as you'd intended it to.
"Don't do that. Don't pretend I didn't love you, that I don't still love you. That I wouldn't love our baby.."
Hearing him confess his love for you and your unborn child was heart wrenching, you'd dreamt of this moment but under very different circumstances.
You'd reluctantly came to the realisation that Antonio was just as equally important to the baby as you were, you had no right to deny your child of a father no matter the circumstances.
"Just..come inside, we don't know who's watching." You said, looking around your neighbourhood for any sign of your father's men.
The two of you sat at your dining table in absolute silence as neither of you knew what to say.
You pulled the freshly printed strip of ultrasound pictures from your bag beside you, briefly smiling at them as you looked them over before your smile vanished completely and that familiar cold stare replaced the hint of warmth in your eyes. You placed them down on the table in front of Antonio, the sour expression on your face was only a glimpse of your hatred for him.
"A Son. I was thinking we call him Mateo, honour his father. Although I'm not sure I want to honour a deceitful prick." You glanced up at him, your eyes full of resentment yet your gaze slowly softened as you watched his smile grow at the sight of your growing bundle of joy.
Antonio was overjoyed to hear you were expecting a son, he felt truly satisfied to know his family name would live on but your insult ripped him away from his joyful thoughts.
He simply sighed, your words were wounding but nothing far from what he deserved.
He slowly placed the ultrasound pictures down, raising his hand to his jaw to smooth it over
"I deserve that."
You looked away in frustration, why did his acknowledgment make your hatred for him falter. "Yeah, you really fucking do."
"Baby girl, please.." he reached for your hand across the table, holding it in the palm of his before placing the other on top.
"Let me take care of you, let me prove to you how sorry I am. I wanna be here for my son, for you Cariño."
You heard the desperation in his voice, and for a split second you contemplated letting your guard down, becoming the family you'd always craved.
Your gaze grew cold once more, snatching your hand away from his to place against your precious bump before stroking it softly with your thumb.
Antonio watched you so attentively, to say he was obsessed with your pregnant body was an understatement and it would be a lie to say he hadn't already admired several noticeable changes you were now blessed with.
His particular favourites were your newly swollen breasts and the soft rounding of your face, you were radiant and he was absolutely smitten. He'd get you pregnant with an entire football team if it meant he'd get to see this glow several more times in his lifetime.
"You broke my heart Antonio." You looked up from your bump to look over at him, wanting to see his reaction to your admission in hope it'd be as remorseful as you'd wished it.
He nodded in acknowledgement, hearing you confirm what he already knew only added to his growing shame.
"I know baby, I fucked up."
You barely had a second to process his recognition before he was sliding off the dining room chair and onto his knees before you, his hands reaching out to hold either side of your rounded belly as he looked up at you with pleading eyes.
"I'd do anything, anything you fucking ask..just give me a chance. I'll make it up to you, please baby."
Your mouth opened readily to protest, but the words became wedged in your throat as you felt one of his thumbs softly caress your belly.
His eyes searched yours as you stare at him so blankly, he knew the cogs were turning in your head as you pondered the possibility, he was grateful to even get this close.
Antonio held a certain power over you, whether it was the age gap or the way he worshiped you like a goddess, you were unsure. You knew only an idiot would let such a man slip away, he made you feel things men your age could only dream of and now you were carrying his baby.
You looked away stubbornly, succumbing to your heart's desire, "Get off your knees, it's making me horny."
Spite still lingered on the tip of your tongue and your cold expression never faltered, you were now frustrated with yourself for not having better self restraint.
Antonio looked ever so pleased with the revelation, he knew despite your harsh tone that you'd give anything to feel his touch again, even as much as forgiving him.
He retracted his hands only to then place them on your mid thighs, allowing them to slowly slide upwards towards your upper thighs while a mischievous smirk grew on his face, confident that he could have you melting within even the simplest of touch.
"It's been so long, hasn't it Mi Amor? Hm? How could I neglect my girl like this?" He cooed, confident he could earn your forgiveness one way or another.
- there will be a part three, and most likely a part four🫶🏼

Hank Voight x Fem!Reader Oneshot (Part 1)
TW: domestic violence, multiple mentions of suicide
Synopsis: Reader is being abused and feels like she has nowhere else to turn to but a dirty cop named Voight.
Part one of however many because I like this idea and want to run with it a little haha.
Maurice Owens. Gangbanger. Scumbag.
Unfortunately, you needed his help.
You walked up to him, about midnight. His bodyguards stood, showing their guns, but you weren’t scared. You’d had worse than a pistol whip or bullet hit your body. “I’m just here to talk. I don’t have a weapon.”
“Alright, and who are you, huh? Never seen you around this block before,” Maurice replied, motioning his guards to sit back down. “You come looking for something, baby? You lost?”
“I heard you’re out there on the streets. I need to get a hold of someone. Think you can help?”
“Depends on what you can give me in return, baby girl.”
You sighed softly as Maurice eyed you up and down. You didn’t think you looked that good, but some men would bang anything that breathed. “Alright, then. What’s your price for information on a cop?”
“Cop?” Maurice huffed. “I don’t know no cops.”
“Look, I’m not stupid, Maurice. Anybody who’s heard your name knows you’re in bed with some dirty cops. I’m not PD and I’m not here to report them. I want to get a hold of one. A cop who can help me.”
“What’re you trying to do? Run game on the streets?”
You shook your head, sighing again, this time louder. “Look, I just need a cop who can help get me out of a bad situation. I’ve heard the name Voight tossed around by some bangers on my block. Get me him.”
Maurice laughed. “Voight, huh? He’s not the kind of guy you find. He finds you.”
“Then tell him to find me.”
“Ambitious, aren’t you? And, what should I tell Voight, should I ever cross paths with him?”
You thought for a moment before nodding to him. “Tell him I’ll be waiting for him. 2PM tomorrow - at Butler Field.”
“Yeah? I doubt he’s going to come just for that. I mean, I wouldn’t.”
“Didn’t I say I need help? Just tell him that. If he doesn’t show, then make sure you catch the news tomorrow night. They’ll be scraping me off sidewalk somewhere in the city.”
Maurice scoffed as you walked away, but whistled to you. “Hey, how are you gonna pay for this info?”
“You only get paid if this works out for me. Otherwise, you won’t have to worry about killing me. I’ll do it myself.”
With that, you walked away, listening to Maurice and his men talk about you.
.
When you got home, you let out a breath before walking around your house and to the back steps, as quietly as possible. Slowly, you moved the knob and opened it. The creak of your back door seemed like a siren compared to the silence in your house. You let out a slow breath, opening it only as much as necessary to slip your wiry figure through it, then closing it just like how you opened it. You bit your lip and turned around, the light turning on behind you. When you turned, he was standing there, arms crossed. You looked up at him like a child who had just been caught in the cookie jar.
“Where did you go?”
“I-I just went for a walk,” you replied, your voice shaking. It was the complete opposite from the way you’d spoke to Maurice just twenty minutes earlier.
“Yeah? At midnight? Without me?”
“You… You were sleeping. I didn’t want to wake you up. I just needed some time to myself, and-“
Shit.
“Time to yourself?! Huh?!” He moved forward quickly, getting into your face and pushing you against the door. His hands gripped your shoulders to pin you against the wood, squeezing hard.
“Ah-Ah, ow! Please, Jeff! P-Please, please!”
“You bitch!” His hand raised, making you close your eyes and brace just as his hand came down on your cheek.
You cried out in pain, hot tears coming to your eyes. You were exhausted despite your adrenaline pumping. You barely ate, barely slept, and his abuse didn’t help. You had bruises from weeks ago that hadn’t healed because you were so unhealthy. “Please, Jeff! Please, stop!” You just wanted it all to be over. Voight was your last hope.
“Why did you leave tonight, huh?! Who were you going to see?!”
“Nobody! I swear, nobody!” You sobbed as his fist found your ribs, making you curl in pain and collapse on the floor.
“Tell me the truth, bitch!”
He kicked you, over and over and over again. Eventually, you blacked out, bloody and bruised.
—
When you woke again, it was mid-morning. Your body ached and your head spun. You slowly say up, wincing softly at the pain. You couldn’t be too loud, or else he would do it again. You pulled yourself up, stumbling to the bathroom to shower and change.
You peeled off your clothes, whimpering softly at every movement. Dark bruises were on your bony shoulders where his hands had dug into you the night before. Your protruding ribs, similarly, had dark bruises all over them. Not to mention all of the other cuts, bruises and scars he’d laid on you the past ten years. The paper trails were scarce, since he’d always contracted an off-the-books nurse when you got real bad. He’d threatened her to keep her quiet, and always got a different one.
As you got into the shower, you felt the water run over you. It was only lukewarm, since you needed a new hot water heater, but you weren’t going to bring it up to Jeff. You shivered as you watched the blood wash from your hair, suddenly bringing your attention to the cut on your temple where his toe had caught you just right. It wasn’t too bad, but head wounds bled a lot, you knew.
After you finished your five-minute shower, you got out and wrapped a towel around yourself. You took care of your dirty clothes right away, then went to your room to find some clean clothes. When you got dressed, you let your hair stay down, to cover the cut on your head, and you wore a long sleeve and pants despite the summer heat. You glanced at the clock - it was nearly 11:15. That meant you had an hour before he got home for lunch to check on you. Despite working a nearby construction job, he always came back to check on you, making it difficult to go anywhere or do anything without him knowing. You sighed, then decided to get lunch together for him.
.
When he arrived at home, you’d already made him lunch and cleaned the evidence from the night before. You ran the wash to get the blood out of your clothes and mopped the floor near the back door. He walked in, sitting down at the table without a word. You put the sandwich and chips in front of him, allowing him to eat while you did dishes from the night before. When he was finished, you took his plate and put a list in front of him. “I’m going shopping this afternoon. Can you write down what you’d like me to get, please?”
Despite your sweet voice, he huffed. “No, just get what you usually get.”
“Okay,” you whispered in reply, walking with the paper and pen into the kitchen to start writing down everything you were low on. “Can I use the debit card, or should I put it on my credit card?”
“Put it on your card. Not mine, bitch. I make the money. Go out and get a job if you want your own money.”
“Okay…” you mumbled again, deciding not to push it.
.
After his lunch hour was over, he got up and left without a word, allowing you to get everything together to go out. You had about thirty minutes to walk to the baseball field, which you knew would take you twenty. You decided, if you were coming back, to simply make your store trip quick.
You walked as fast as you could, your movements slowed by the pain in your body. You’d only eaten a small meal that morning, one egg and a piece of toast, not really hungry in the first place.
As you approached the baseball field, your adrenaline began to pump in a new way, one you hadn’t felt in a long time. There were people all over, seeing as there was a little league game going on. You breathed shakily, sitting up on the bleachers, away from everyone else, pulling your sleeves down over your wrists. You weren’t cold, seeing as the sun was still high in the sky, but you were shaking. The shade provided some shelter from the suns rays which made you look like a ghost because of how pale you were.
You scanned the park, paranoid he would somehow find you there. When a stranger walked up and sat near you, you nearly jumped from your seat. You looked to the man, who had sunglasses on, his hair greying. He was probably around your age, or a bit older, late 40’s. You bit your lip, looking down at the sidearm on his hip, then at the star clipped beside it. You let out a breath. “Are you Voight?” You asked quietly, your voice meek.
“I am. Who are you?”
“(Y/N),” you replied. “I need help.”
“With what?”
“Look, my husband, he-“ You choked up. Suddenly, it was hard to admit. You looked away as tears blurred your vision.
Voight let you have a minute before moving up to sit beside you. “What about him?”
It was now, or never. “He hurts me…” you mumbled, turning your head back at him as tears rolled down your cheeks. “I need help.”
“You ever make a report to the police?”
“What the hell do you think I’m doing?” You huffed, frustrated.
“Look honey, you seem nice, but you should go to the district and make a report.”
You huffed. “Fuck off. I knew this was a mistake.” You got up, wincing in pain as you stumbled off of the bleachers. “Don’t be surprised if you find my body tonight, officer. One way or another.”
You walked away, shaking your head as tears streaked down your face, letting hair fall down to hide it. You heard footsteps behind you, making you stop and whip around, eyes wide. You thought maybe someone would come to put you in your place for talking to a cop, paranoia setting in.
When Voight approached, he put his hands up. “Easy, easy. I’ll help you.”
“What made you change your mind?” You wiped your face, looking up at him.
“Look at you,” he replied softly, pushing the hair behind your ear and taking your chin softly to maneuver your head, examining the cut on your temple. “What else has he done?”
You started to sob, Voight leading you to his car to sit and talk with you for a while. You explained the last ten years to him, which took nearly an hour. When you realized the time, you looked at him. “Please, are you going to help me? Because… if not, I need to get to the store. If-If I come back without groceries, he’ll have a reason beat me again.”
“Let me get you to the store, then,” he said softly. “I can help, but you’ve gotta give me a few days. I got some other things to deal with.”
“Okay…” you mumbled. “Please… don’t abandon me.”
He gently held your chin to look you in the eyes. “I won’t. I promise.”
When your glassy eyes met his deep, brown ones, you nearly got lost for a moment. He made you feel safe and warm, like hot chocolate on a cold Chicago night. You nodded slowly, reaching over to grab his free hand. “Thank you…”
.
Hank drove you to the store, then dropped you off at home just in time. Your husband arrived about ten minutes later. You put the groceries away quickly, starting on dinner. He brought home beer and some friends, like he did every Friday night. You sighed softly, but knew at least he wouldn’t abuse you too much that night until his friends left.
-
You held out hope, for days, that one day cop cars would just show up and take care of your husband. When a week passed by, you snuck out to see Maurice again, walking up to him around eleven at night this time.
“Hey baby girl, you come to pay?”
“I need to get a hold of Voight again.”
Maurice laughed, shaking his head. “You ain’t heard? Nah, baby, he got put in jail.”
You stopped, looking over Maurice again for any sign that he was lying. “No, don’t lie to me.”
“I don’t have no reason to lie, especially when you owe me.”
You huffed, shaking your head. “What did you do? Did you report him?”
“Hell no, I didn’t. Me and Voight, we had a special relationship, baby. Mutually beneficial. Now that he’s in jail, I gotta groom another dog cop into looking the other way.”
You frowned, looking at him intently. “Where is he? Statesville?”
“Yep. Got sent away for a long time, I heard.”
You couldn’t help the tears that had welled in your eyes. Voight had promised you. Was that even still a thing? You debated going to the nearest tall building to jump from, but you just wanted out. “I need another favor.”
“Baby, you ain’t paid for the last two I just gave you.”
“I’ll pay. I’m good for it. You just gotta distract somebody for me. Make sure he can’t come home for the day while I catch the bus over to statesville.”
“Are you insane? That’s a big ask, baby. I don’t even know your name.”
“It’s (Y/N). I need you to keep my husband busy tomorrow. Jeff Greyson. Don’t let him come home for a few extra hours. He likes to drink, and he even used to shoot up when he was in high school. I’m assuming you’re drug runners. Dangle a free sample in front of his nose. I’ll pay you off after this.”
Maurice cocked an eyebrow. “What’s going on that you can’t tell him? You having an affair with Voight?”
You scoffed, looking at him intently. “My husband abuses me. I’m trying to get out. Voight promised he would help. Does he make good on promises?”
Maurice slowly nodded. “Every time.”
“Then I need to see him.”
“Fine, but my rate just doubled, baby.”
—
You finally got into Statesville and were sat at a booth with a phone on either side. Voight was brought in on the other side of the glass and sat down across from you. You picked up the phone, and so did he. “What the hell happened?”
“You knew I was a dirty cop when you met me.”
“Maurice says you’re a man of your word. Is that true, or should I go looking for a tall building for a solution?”
“You need to report this to somebody.”
“I can’t. The investigation could take weeks and if he finds out, he’ll kill me first. I’d rather go out after seeing the city skyline one last time.”
Hank sighed on the other end. “Can you make it to the 21st district?”
You frowned. “I just told you, I-“
“Trudy Platt. Remember that name. I’ll have her find you.”
“Platt… okay…”
“I make good on my promises, (Y/N). It’s just going to take a little longer.”
You sighed, looking back up into his eyes. He was genuine. “Alright…” you mumbled. “Fine… who is she?”
“Trudy Platt is a sergeant in the 21st district. I’ll have her find you and work your case, personally.”
“Okay.”
“Just hold out. Has he hurt you any more?”
“Every day, Hank. Every fucking day.”
Hank sighed a little, but nodded. “Trudy will take care of you.”
—
The next few days went by without event, your hope dwindling with every punch, hit, and cut he put on you. One night, as you sat at home, straddling his lap at his request, a knock came to the front door. You jumped at the sudden knock, looking down at him to see what he wanted to do. He pushed you off him and got up, opening the door. “Can I help you?”
A man looked at him through the door, which he had only opened enough for him to be seen. “Detective Dawson. This is Detective Willhite. Can we come in?”
“No,” Jeff growled. “Do you have a warrant?”
The two detectives looked at once another, then back to Jeff. “Look,” Dawson said. “Some neighbors have called in complaints about a girl screaming here multiple nights in the past few months.”
You furrowed your brow. If that were true, wouldn’t the cops have shown up already?
“I guess the neighbors don’t realize we can still be active even though we’re in our mid and late forties.”
Willhite scoffed. “Oh yeah? Can we talk to your wife? We need to corroborate your story.”
“Sure,” Jeff said, motioning you forward. “Here, (Y/N), tell them.”
“Actually,” Dawson said, looking at you. “Standard procedure is to separate the two of you for questioning. Ma’am, could you step outside?”
“Maybe you should talk to our lawyer, then,” Jeff said with a huff, putting a firm hand on your shoulder. “Have a nice night.”
“Let the girl speak. We can’t go anywhere until she tells us what’s going on,” Willhite replied.
You let out a shaky breath, looking at the two detectives, nodding. “Yeah, uh, it’s… it’s all good… we’re just…” You cleared your throat. “… Active.” You blinked three times rapidly, three times slower, then three more times rapidly, hoping they’d catch on to it.
Dawson and Willhite looked at one another again, then each drew their guns. “Sir, we’re going to need you to step outside with us,” Dawson said.
Jeff scoffed. “This is completely unjustified. You came to my house and forced me to talk, and now you’re going to arrest me? This is not based in law. You’re going to have a six figure lawsuit on your hands now. Both of you, individually.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Dawson said as he pulled Jeff out of the house, making you yelp as his grasp pushed you into Willhite on accident.
She caught you, taking you out of the way and onto the grass. “Hey, it’s okay now. My name is Jules. That’s Antonio. Platt sent us.”
You started to cry, shaking. You were barely able to breathe because of your injuries as your body convulsed with sobs. Jules helped you lay down on the grass and breathe until the ambulance arrived. Jeff was taken away in a car, while you were taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Jules sat by your side the whole time as they checked you out. Turns out you had multiple broken ribs from a few weeks ago as well as several other ailments from the past ten years that never healed correctly. You cried until you couldn’t cry any more, slowly falling asleep as Jules held your hand, Antonio and Trudy Platt talking to one another in the hallway outside your room.

A/N: Thank you to the anon who sent this in! @talesofreading and @imagine-all-the-fandoms here is another smutty one for you!
You and Antonio have been dating for 3 months now but to you it felt even longer. Everybody at work knew that you two were together because of him wincing when he leaned up against the back of his chair and hissed. The men pried it out of Antonio and the girls pried it out of you when they dragged you to the locker room. The only person that didn't know, or at least you thought didn't know, was your boss Hank Voight. When nobody was around or it was just your coworkers you two were pretty handsy but the minute you heard Hank you both straightened and acted like nothing happened, although when you looked over to Antonio, he just smirked at his computer screen and you rolled your eyes but smirked as well.
Recently though he has been flirting with risk and to be honest so have you but he was the worst. It was one time during a briefing that he was the worst. He stood extra close to you and his hand would occasionally pump yours and you did it right back. Antonio slowly moved his hand across the desk and onto your back at first that didn’t bother you but when he got down to your ass and he lightly slapped it which made you jump a little and squeal not expecting it, you covered it with a cough “Are you alright Y/N?” Hank asked you and you nodded.
“Sorry it was just a little tickle. Please continue.” You said and he nodded and turned towards the board and you briefly turned your head and glared at your boyfriend who was just smirking and eating up the attention. You turned back to the briefing but caught the eye of the girls who were smirking and you rolled your eyes but continued to listen.
“Antonio and Y/N I want you to go and check out the coffee shop owner.” Hank said and you both nodded and then he gave everyone else their assignments. Antonio and you went to your desk and grabbed your things and he opened the gate and held out a hand signaling you to go first which made you smile and as you were walking by, he patted your ass and you turned and looked at him with a glare. You quickly hurried down the stairs with him behind you. When you both got in the car you smacked him on the arm and he jerked back.
“Aww what was that for?” He asked and you looked at him in disbelief as he rubbed his arm.
“That was for almost getting us caught!” You shouted at him and he smirked.
“You liked it though.” He said with a smirk and started the engine.
“Yes, I did but we have to be more careful. We don’t want Hank to know.” You said and he smirked.
“How can I resist when you look so damn irresistible?” He asked as he stopped at a stoplight and leaned over and kissed your neck but gently nibbled on it and it made you moan. You just happened to look up and the light was green.
“Tonio light green.” You moaned out and he turned away from you, you whimpered when he pulled away but he needed to focus on the road. His hand came over the console to hold yours and you gladly accepted it. Meeting with the coffee shop owner was quick and easy and surprisingly you got a lot of information and then you were headed back to the district. Nobody was there having still been out and you made sure Hank wasn’t there and when you confirmed that he wasn’t you grabbed Antonio’s belt loops and pulled him over to you as you leaned on the desk. Your lips met in a feverish kiss and then your tongues were battling for dominance and teeth were clashing against teeth, his hands went to your face and into your hair. It would’ve gone on until he ended up taking you right then and there but a throat clearing made you stop and turn to the top of the stairs. Kevin, Adam, Kim, Jay, and Erin were standing there smirking.
“Oh, don’t stop on our account.” Kevin said and got a hit to the chest but Kim. You were blushing like mad that you got caught but Antonio was smirking like he was proud that you two had gotten caught.
“Get a room.” Adam said
“Don’t tempt us.” You said finally finding your voice and everyone laughed as everyone scattered to their desks, you went to your desk and began working and Antonio came up behind you and watched you work since. He was super close, close enough you could smell his cologne the both of you talked about the case and getting input from your team members when you voiced your findings. It wasn’t very long until Hank was coming up and you were pushing your boyfriend away but he stayed close. You always feared that Hank would find out and then there would be consequences. Hank walked into the bullpen and you pushed Antonio away secretly. He walked back to his desk and began working.
It had been a few hours and you wanted, no need, something to eat and drink so you went to the break room. You were bent over looking through the fridge when you felt someone behind you and then hands on your waist, you knew who it was. Lips quickly found yours as you grabbed some food that was in the fridge and walked over to the counter, you moved your neck to the side “What are you doing, sexy?” He asked in your ear and you turned your head and gave him a kiss.
“Getting something to eat, handsome.” You said when you pulled away. “We could get caught.” You said as he kissed you again.
“It’s a risk I’m willing to take.” He said but then there was a knock on the door and you once again knocked him away and turned towards your food while Antonio turned to the person leaning on the counter.
“You’re lucky it wasn’t Hank.” Jay said as he walked into the break room. “You two are flirting with risk.” He said and then you turned towards him, taking a bite of your food.
“I keep telling him that but he won’t listen.” You said and elbowed Antonio in the stomach and he let an ‘oof’ Jay just smirked.
“Just be careful you two.” He said and you nodded and then you were walking back out to the bullpen while Antonio stayed to talk to Jay, he watched you walk away with a smirk on his face.
It was in the middle when Hank appeared. “I wanna talk to you two.” He said then turned to walk into his office and you looked at Antonio with a scared look on your face and he shook his head and walked over to you.
“You don’t have to worry about anything. I’m right here with you.” He whispered and you nodded. You both walked into Hank’s office as the others watched with smiles. Hank was leaning on his desk, arms crossed as you both walked in and stood in front of him like kids who got caught stealing something, your head was down and hands interlocked with each other and Antonio was standing close to you.
“I know you two are together.” Hank said and your head shot up.
“You do?” You asked and looked at Antonio with a shocked look on your face and he did to then you looked back and Hank and he nodded.
“It wasn’t hard to figure out.” He said
“How?” You asked, still trying to process everything.
“It was easy. You both are coming at the same time if not a second to a minute after each other, when it used to be 1 hour after each other. You both defend each other. You both protect each other and yes, I know your partners but this goes past just being partners. You both stand closer to each other during briefings. Also, you both disappear pretty much at the same time.” Hank said and smirked when your mouth fell open and Antonio had an unreadable expression on his face.
“How long have you known?” Antonio asked
“Since the day you both showed up at the same time and Y/N was wearing your hoodie.” Hank said “Just as long as you both keep it professional you can stay together but once your love life starts interfering with your work then we'll be having a totally different conversation.” He added, " Understood?” He asked you and Antonio, both of you nodded.
“Understood.” You both said at the same time and Hank nodded. You both walked back out and Kevin was the first one to speak up.
“So…. what happened?” He asked
“He knows.” Antonio said “But that just means that I can be loving to my girl now here.” He said and hugged you from behind and gently squeezed you. You shook your head and then you both got to work although he kept his antics up and now that Hank knew you started to get handsy yourself and Antonio ate it up.
When you were done for the day, you were ready to go home and finish what you both started. “You guys coming to Molly's?” Erin asked.
“No, we're going to stay in.” You said and she smirked.
“Don't have too much fun.” Kim said and you threw a paper ball at her and she ducked while she laughed. You grabbed your stuff and then joined Antonio at the top of the stairs and began to descend down them.
“Have a good night you two.” She said with a smirk and you flipped her off. You both walked to Antonio's car silently and got in.
“Now he knows and we can do anything we want.” He said gripping your chin lightly and kissing you.
“We have to keep it professional, Tonio.” You said when you broke away from the kiss.
“We will, when others are around but when they're not then you're all mine.” He said and you smiled and nodded he had released your chin.
“You're all mine too.” You said and kissed him “Now let's get home and maybe we can continue this.” You said with a smirk and a wink. He pulled a face and groaned then before you knew it you, he was speeding out of the parking lot and towards his apartment.
When you arrived at the apartment, he was quick to park and you both hurriedly walked in and got on the elevator. You pressed the all too familiar number and once you were sure the doors were closed you were quick to kiss him. It took him by surprise but he quickly followed the kiss. He was quick to turn you around so that your back was on the elevator wall. “Jump.” He said in a husky voice and you quickly did as you were told. You wrapped your arms around his neck and legs around his waist. “You're so beautiful.” He said when he pulled away and looked you in the eye. Then you brought his lips to yours as the elevator dinged. The kiss broke and you looked over to see you were on your floor. He didn't put you down, he instead walked with you clinging to him and went back to kissing you, you could feel how hard he was through his jeans and you had no doubt that you were soaking wet.
“I need you, Tonio. Need you so bad.” You said as he stopped at his door and dug out his key and he broke the kiss to be able to see what he was doing.
“Soon, Baby. Soon.” He said and unlocked the door and pushed it open then he shut it with his foot and locked it blindly. “Can't wait to get you out of these clothes and see all of your sexy body.” He said against your neck and you clenched around nothing and you moaned. He walked to his bedroom with you wrapped around his body and still having a heavy make out session. Antonio gently put you on the bed and then crawled up your body after having removed his shirt and pants leaving him in his underwear that was tented with his erection and you could feel your mouth water. You would love to get your mouth around him but he had other plans as he started to undress you. When he was done you were completely naked and exposed to him and he sat back on his knees and just stared at you.
“Like what you see?” You asked and that damn smirk popped up on his face.
“Absolutely.” He responded and he was quick to shed his underwear and have them join the pile on the ground. He didn’t waste any time by giving himself one pump and then he was hovering over your body. You could feel him at your entrance. “Remember to tell me to stop if something isn’t right.” He said and you nodded and then he was slowly pushing into you, both moaning at the same time.
“Fuck. Feels so good.” You moaned out as he halted and letting you adjust. After a minute you looked at him and nodded “Move.” You said and he obeyed. He set a slowly steady pace filling you just right and hitting you in the right places and the all-familiar stretch was perfect.
“Fuck, always so tight for me. Such a good girl. Gonna marry you one day and pump a kid into you, our perfect little family.” He said not knowing what effect it had on you. All you did was moan as you started to close.
“Faster, baby. Faster.” You said and he picked up his pace. “Feels so good!” You screamed out not caring who heard “Wanna have your kids and be your wife.” You moaned out, head thrown back and fingers digging into his shoulder blades and slowly making their way down his back. Antonio hissed from the pain but didn’t stop.
“I’m close, baby.” He moaned out and as his thrusts started to get sloppy.
“I’m close too.” You said he dropped his head into the crook of your neck and you could feel his hot breath on your neck. His grunting and moaning were bringing you to the edge. “Cum with me.” He said as one of his hands came down to your clit as the other stayed by your head. He started to rub your sensitive clit and you felt his thrusts become even more sloppier. His head went down to your breasts and started to give them attention equally.
“I’m gonna cum.” You moaned out a warning and that just seemed to make him pick up speed. That rubber band in your stomach snapped and you were cumming hard. You heard him moan out and stilled and you both came together. As you both came down from your highs he slowly pulled out and watched his cum leak out of you and smiled and then fell on the other side of you. You both just laid there. “You really mean it?” You asked him, looking at him.
“Hmmm?” He asked
“About marrying me and making me a mom and you a dad.” You said reminding him. He turned to you and propped up on his elbow.
“One of these days.” He said and you smiled.
“I would love that, you know.” You said and he smiled.
“I love you.” He said and kissed you.
“I love you too.” You said and then you both got under the covers and fell asleep cuddled together thinking about what the future has to hold. You couldn’t wait to marry him and be the mother to his kid.

Hey this is my request
Where yn and Antonio buy a house and when the sell goes trough they give a house warming party and they get from Jay and Hailey matching bathrobes and from Hank and Trudy some pictures of yn and Antonio
The rest you decide with allot of fluff Thank you
Title: Sweet Dreams Are Made of You
Summary: You and Antonio have finally found your dream house. So you celebrate by having a party.
Warnings: suggestive, fluffy 🤣
Word count: 1807
Fandom: Chicago P.D
Pairing: Antonio Dawson x Reader
“What do you think, baby?” your husband asked as he walked up behind you, his arms snaking around your waist. He pressed his lips to the soft spot behind your ear, placing a gentle kiss. “Is it perfect enough for you?”
You couldn’t help but smile, sinking further into his embrace. “This is it. This is the one.”
“We’ll take it,” Antonio said, turning to the realtor.
You felt like you were going to explode with happiness—and maybe, just maybe, a little relief. The past few months had been stressful, searching for the perfect home for your family. Antonio had been more stressed than you, as he was determined to shield you from as much strain as possible. After all, stress is bad for the baby.
But this house… it was everything you had hoped for. And the most perfect part? The man by your side, the man you were lucky enough to call your husband. It was literally a dream come true.
“Mommy! Daddy! Look at this room!” Your three-year-old daughter came running toward you, tugging at Antonio’s pant leg. “Can this be my princess castle?” she asked, her eyes wide with excitement.
You bent down to scoop her up, her giggles echoing around the empty room as she wrapped her arms around your neck. “What do you think, sweetie? Is it the perfect castle for you?”
She nodded enthusiastically, clapping her little hands. “Yes! I love it!”
The next couple of months felt like agony—waiting to finally move in, then worrying about the logistics of the move itself. But you needn’t have stressed. The boys offered to help, though really, they were there to help Antonio. His overprotectiveness wouldn’t even let you carry a plant pot.
As a thank you, you headed to the best coffee shop in Chicago, bringing back coffee and donuts for everyone. Hailey and Kim dropped by frequently to keep you company while the guys worked tirelessly on the house. Antonio insisted on starting with your daughter’s room, wanting everything to be perfect for his little princess.
Jay and the girls took on the task of setting up the nursery for your unborn baby. You and Antonio decided to wait until the birth to learn the gender, but you didn’t want to wait to have the room ready. Kim had come up with the idea to surprise you by decorating it, and you weren’t allowed to peek.
You trusted them completely. Jay was the first person you met from the district, and he quickly became like a brother to you. Hailey came next, though there was a bit of a misunderstanding at first. Once Jay clarified that you were Tony’s girlfriend, you and Hailey became fast friends. Then there was Kim—sweet, soft-spoken Kim, who you learned had a fierce side after an encounter during a girl’s night out. Beneath her soft exterior was a woman who wouldn’t hesitate to stand up for herself.
Now, you couldn’t imagine life without any of them. They had become part of your family.
The housewarming party was your way of showing them how much they meant to you. Despite Antonio’s protests that a simple BBQ would be enough, you went all out, preparing different meals and drinks for each person—steak and whiskey for Voight, Chicago-style pizza and cold beer for Jay.
You even got a bounce house for your daughter and her friends, though you should have known that Adam would be the first to jump in.
Hank Voight, the first to greet you, wrapped you in a quick hug. “You didn’t have to go through all this. You should be taking it easy.”
“But you guys worked so hard, you deserved it,” you replied, smiling.
“We certainly don’t deserve you,” he said warmly.
“You don’t give yourself enough credit,” you were about to add more when the sound of shrieks came from the backyard.
“He’s never going to grow up,” Hank chuckled, nodding towards Adam, who was still bouncing in the inflatable castle.
“Don’t tell me you don’t want to go in there,” you teased, nudging him.
“I’m a little too old for that,” he laughed, raising his glass.
“So is he,” you grinned, nodding toward Adam, “Doesn’t stop him.”
As night fell and the air grew cooler, you brought the party inside. That’s when everyone began handing you gifts, much to your surprise.
Hank and Trudy gifted you beautiful picture frames, each holding a wedding photo. “Thanks, guys. You didn’t have to, but I know exactly where to put them,” you said, envisioning them above your new fireplace.
Hailey and Jay’s gift was a set of matching robes that said “Mr. and Mrs. Dawson.” Of course, Adam couldn’t resist giving you both some novelty items—two mugs, one reading “I like his…” with a bird picture, and the other, “I like her…” with a cat. Your daughter giggled, “But we don’t have a cat, silly Uncle Adam!”
Then there was the Christmas pajama set—one reading “Tickle my pickle” and the other “Pickle Tickler”—with red and black plaid pants to match.
Alvin’s contribution was a sign that read “Time Out Spot.”
“My princess is very well behaved,” Antonio protested jokingly.
“I never said it was for her,” Alvin replied, deadpan, before breaking into laughter with the rest of you.
“Don’t give her any ideas,” Antonio whispered to him, but you overheard.
“It’s not a bad idea, Al. Thank you,” you teased, smirking at your husband.
“I’m very well-behaved,” he grinned, giving you a playful wink.
The night continued for a couple of hours before everyone decided to head home. They did still have work in the morning after all.
You stood from the couch and started to collect all the dishes and glasses but a hand stopped, “I got this, baby,” he said, taking the dishes from your hand.
“But…”
“No buts,” he interrupted, “You’ve done enough today, I’ll clean up and I’ll meet you upstairs,”
You sighed, the look on his face, despite behind hidden amongst the tiredness, told you that he wasn’t going to budge, “Okay,” you folded, you looked down at your daughter, who had fallen asleep on the couch. You walked over to her, leaning down to pick her up gently in your arms.
You walked back over to Antonio, placing a kiss on his cheek, “We love you,” you told him.
“I love you two more,” he said, leaning down to place a kiss on your daughter’s head. He stood back up straight and pressed a kiss to your lips, “Go get comfy, baby, I won’t be long,”
“I hope not, Daddy,”
“And I need the naughty spot?”
“Fine,” you sighed, “But I still want cuddles,”
“You got it,” he said, giving you another peck on your lips. You said goodbye and headed upstairs.
You walked over to the room that was across the hall from yours. You opened the door and you’re greeted by the light pink and purple walls, with a brick like patten painted on it to give her a castle feel. Her bed has a pink canopy hovering above, with light purple transparent fabric cascading down like a waterfall.
You move further into the room and towards the bed. It only takes three steps before your standing beside it. You use one hand to move the covers to the side and gently lower her down onto the mattress. You grab the corner of the duvet and bring it back over to cover her. You tuck the duvet in around her, smiling when you notice the multiple different stuffed toys on her bed. Each from one of the team. You see she got her housewarming gifts last week.
You brush a stray strand away from her face and lean down to kiss her forehead, “Love you Princess,” you whisper.
You stood beside your daughter’s bed, smiling as you admired her peaceful appearance. Gently, you tucked her favorite stuffed bunny closer to her side, making sure everything was just right before you headed to the door.
But before you could move, you felt the familiar warmth of Antonio’s arms wrapping around your waist from behind. He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head, his chin resting on your shoulder as he gazed down at your sleeping daughter, “She’s out like a light,”
You nodded, leaning back into his chest, “She loves her castle,”
"Only the best for my girls," Antonio said, as he pressed a kiss to your clothed shoulder.
You smiled, placing your hands over his as they rested on your belly. "We’re lucky to have you," you whispered back.
“I’m the lucky one,”
For a moment, the two of you stood in silence, simply watching your little girl sleep, bathed in the soft glow of her nightlight.
He smiled, cupping your cheek as he leaned down to kiss you softly. "Come on, let’s get you to bed," he said gently. "You wanted cuddles, right?"
You nodded with a contented sigh, letting him lead you out of the room. With one last glance at your sleeping princess, you quietly closed the door behind you.
Antonio continued to lead you towards your room, his arm still wrapped around your waist. As you entered your own bedroom.
“Let’s get you settled,” he said, guiding you toward the bed. You sat down on the edge as Antonio knelt in front of you, helping you slip off your shoes. His touch was gentle, the way he always was with you, especially now with the baby on the way.
“You spoil me,” you teased softly, running your fingers through his hair.
“You deserve it,” he replied softly, pressing a kiss to your ankle. He stood and pulled back the covers for you. “Besides, I need you well-rested.”
You gave him a curious but suggestive look. “For what?”
He rolled his eyes and smiled, “For all the cuddles you asked for.”
You couldn’t help but laugh quietly and somehow, you find yourself falling for him even more, if that was even possible. Antonio always had a way of turning even the simplest moments into something special. Sliding into bed, you watched as he joined you, wrapping his strong arms around you as soon as he settled beside you.
You nestled your head against his chest, feeling his steady heartbeat beneath your cheek. His arms surrounded you and the whole world just disappeared.
“I’m so happy,” you whispered.
Antonio tightened his hold on you, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your head. “Me too, baby,” he whispered back.
You smiled, resting your hand on your growing belly. Antonio’s hand joined yours, his thumb brushing over your skin in a soothing rhythm and you found yourself being lulled to sleep. The last thing you remember, is feeling a soft kiss in your hair.
