"ELEPHANT MAN" OF A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY.
PIC INFO: Spotlight on a lesser known character of the "STAR WARS" galaxy -- Ephant Mon was a Force-sensitive Chevin male from the planet Vinsoth. His previous occupations included: mercenary, gunrunner, and chief security officer to Jabba's Palace.
Artwork by Michael Butkus, from "STAR WARS: The Essential Guide to Characters" (1995), published by Del Rey Books.
SW/ROTJ/FUN FACT: The name Ephant Mon is likely a pun on the real-life Elephant Man, Joseph Merrick (1862-1890). Indeed, Ephant Mon was referred to as Elephant Man during pre-production of "Return of the Jedi."

So I was wondering WHAT IF Felix had a son. No, wait, please listen... he would result of a dalliance / whirlwind affair during his time in Orlais before the Darkspawn attack. And so I started Thinking:
FULL NAME: Julien Chapdelaine later Alexius BIRTH DATE: The 9th day of Ferventes ( Justinian ), 9:33 Dragon. AGE: 11 at the time of the Exalted Council in 9:44 GENDER: Male ( he / him / his ) SPECIES: Human ETHINCITY: Tevinter / Orlesian NATIONALITY: Orlesian BIRTHPLACE: Orlais HOMETOWN: Wine estate outside Val Chevin. FAMILY: Raised by Lady Margot Rousseau's sister and her husband as their own. His real parentage kept secret. Siblings: Two younger half sisters cousins. RELIGION: Raised as a devout Andrastian LANGUAGES: Primarily Orlesian and Trade Tongue. Later Tevene. AFFILIATION: The White Spire OCCUPATION: Apprentice CLASS: A very promising and powerful mage SPECIALIZATION: Selected to train as a Knight Enchanter conjuring any number of blades, swords and daggers, though he is not a fighter ( later would develop a strong talent and preference for healing and a desire to be a Spirit Healer instead but ends up training as both ) GENERAL APPEARANCE:
Looks remarkably like his father which often fueled rumours in certain unremarkable corners of Orlesian society that couldn't be substantiated or denied. HEIGHT: 4"11"( and growing ) WEIGHT: 90lbs BUILD: tall, slight, gangly and a little awkward FACECLAIM: Cody Molko
PERSONALITY: Polite and well-mannered though mischievous and and almost recklessly adventurous ( always pushing boundaries ). Still young and innocent and optimistic in his outlook on life but as he grows up he becomes more guarded and calculating. Shows signs of being ambitious and competitive though he has his fathers compassion and empathy. NOTABLE QUIRKS / TRAITS: terrible at math, magic comes as second nature to him, great with animals, likes to climb things, hide, avid reader VIRTUES: intelligent, curious, gentle, gregarious, determined VICES: cunning, unforgiving, hasty, quick to judge, ambitious GENERAL OUTWARD DEMEANER: cheerful, friendly, inquisitive
HISTORY: His mother, Margot Rousseau was a daughter of an Orlesian merchant of lesser nobility with modest influence and considerable wealth. She was a promising artist and writer and a fiery and independent spirit that her parents though they could tame by betrothing her to a Chevalier from a prestigious noble line.
Felix met her in early 9:32 Dagon through her brother who he studied with. Felix and Margit instantly fell in love and their romance, while a discretely kept secret, was wildly passionate, lasting several months. However, it wasn't long before she fell pregnant. When her family found out they were furious and she was forbidden to see Felix ever again. To protect her from scandal, she was sent on a "pilgrimage " but went to stay with her older sister who lived far out in the country on a sprawling wine estate called Chateau Chapdelaine not far from Val Chevin. In the summer of Dragon 9: 33 she gave birth to a boy who is a splitting image of his father. It was decided that he would be raised by Margot's sister as her own as they had never been able to have children themselves. He was named Julien Chapdelaine.
Felix only ever met his new born son once, briefly and in secret. He held Julien for as long as he could, never having loved anyone as much before, then or after. Margot chose to honor her families wishes and was soon to be married. Felix was devastated at this and more so at the prospect of never being able to see his son again. He left his heirloom pendent with the Alexius Crest with Margot. and they never saw or heard from each other again. Margot did get word of the Darkspawn attack and was told Felix had died and she had to grieve in silence. In 9:40, age 7, shortly after he started showing signs of strong magical talent, he is sent to the White Spire to begin his training. ADDITIONAL INFO: Julien adapts well as can be to the Circle and is an exceptional mage who is one of the very few being prepared for his training as a Knight Enchanter of which he shows immense potential. He is quiet and stays out of trouble and mostly out of the Templars scrutiny He looks very much like his father and shares many of his little unconscious mannerisms and habits ( the way he tilts his head while reading, or the way he hates it when the different foods on his plate mix together and how he can be so meticulous and almost pedantic but completely untidy and chaotic at the same time. ) He speaks Trade tongue and many other languages almost fluently but often lapses back into Orlesian which he finds easiest to express himself. When Julien is old enough curiosity will lead him to look into the origins of the insignia and what he finds out calls into question everything he once believed in himself. Eventually, after much digging and with the help of a certain Dorian Pavus he finds that his father had left him everything he needs to restore the Alexius name and eventually take his seat on the Magisterium. What he does with that information is yet to be decided.
#this is dumb idek#but it is now part of my canon so!!!!#is so inundated with work atm i can't even think straight sooo have my ramblings#my shouts into the void

Star Wars Alien Species - Chevin
During the Clone Wars, Vinsoth was located within Separatist space.
After the Battle of Endor, Ephant Mon established a Force-cult Temple on the planet and advocated Chev liberation. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Vinsoth was conquered by the invaders at the beginning of the conflict. After the Yuuzhan Vong War, many Chevins favored abolishing slavery and joining the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. However, they had to form secret societies, as they were persecuted as traitors by the local dictators, who sent assassins after them.
During the Second Imperial Civil War, Vinsoth was contained within the boundaries of the Fel Empire. During the war, however, Vinsoth was lost to Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.
Beginning as simple hunters and gatherers, the Chevin went on to conquer the Chev settlements and extend their nomadic civilization to dominate their homeworld. Vinsoth was rich in food and plant cover, and was eventually visited by offworlders seeking covert bases and food supplies. The Chevin soon gained galactic-level technology through trade, eventually manufacturing their own sophisticated weapons and vehicles. Though their technology was mostly acquired from offworld sources, they reverse-engineered products like starships in order to produce their own designs. Chevin starships were noted for their spacious cargo bays, roomy cabins, and large crews. Most of their technical advances went towards keeping their slaves in line and ensuring the continued domination of their homeworld. Chevin wore clothes only because other species did.
Chevin lived in small, mobile communities, with homes mounted on great wheeled carts. Even after they gained access to galactic technology, they continued to live as nomads (though more affluent Chevin mounted their lodges on large repulsorlift vehicles instead.) Their Chev slaves were usually forced to follow on foot. Nomadic groups of Chevin kept in touch via comlinks, and often converged on a single location to deal with danger.
The only Chevin settlements which stayed in place for more than one standard month were the "Government Villages", where Chevin dictators lived with their hand-picked advisors. Even these settlements were movable when necessary. Each of the roughly two dozen Government Villages ruled a Chevin nation.
These nations rarely warred against each other, beyond the occasional border skirmish, though economic competition was fierce. Warrior-politicians who won their positions through single combat roved from camp to camp, providing information to Chevin dictators.
The Chevin saw themselves as opportunistic realists interested in self-safety. Their culture valued the acquisition of power, wealth, and status by any means necessary. Most Chevin preferred to meet their goals through intrigue and subterfuge, letting others fight for them when necessary. They were calm and even-tempered if treated with respect, but quick to become bullies if angered, or retaliate if slighted or cheated.
The Chevin evolved from smaller relatives of the giant mammals who were wiped out when an asteroid collided with Vinsoth millions of years before the time of the Galactic Republic. Chevin had long snouts which hung down nearly to their ankles. Combined with their intellect, this made them skilled hunters of animals such as backshin, because they could smell out their prey or feed while keeping their eyes on the horizon. It was also their hunting prowess which allowed them to dominate their homeworld and conquer the Chevs. Chevin had thick legs, massive wide bodies, thin rope-like tails, and arms so long their three-fingered hands often brushed the ground.
Despite their ungainly appearance, they could walk or run almost as fast as more nimble-looking humanoids. Chevin boasted a double set of eyelids, one of which was transparent to prevent dust and wind from interfering with their vision. Their thick gray skin and efficient circulatory system kept them cool in warm climates and warm in cold climates, though they preferred semi-tropical conditions. The traditional Chevin costume consisted of long, elaborately patterned robes (though they did not wear clothing until they were contacted by other species) and jewelry. One Chevin even possessed the ability to kill a human with just his forehead.
Adult Chevin stand roughly 2 to 3 meters or 6.6 to 9.8 feet tall.
Chevin age at the following stages:
1 - 12 Child
13 - 18 Young Adult
19 - 155 Adult
156 - 211 Middle Age
212 - 256 Old
Examples of Names: Ephant Mon, Goorin, Hagalor, Negna Mundro, Osman, Pedna Scotian.
Languages: Chevin was the native tongue of the Chevin species and the official language of planet Vinsoth.
There was another native species to Vinsoth besides of the Chevins: The Chevs, who had their own language. However, the Chevs were slaves to the Chevins, and the Chevins forced their Chev slaves to learn Chevin language (usually they also made them learn Basic). Thus, the Chevin language was spoken by both Chevs and Chevins, while Chev language was spoken only by the Chevs.
As all the Chev speakers were familiar with the Chevin language, the Chevin language had a great influence on the Chev language. Chevins traveling through the galaxy also learned to speak Basic.

Tema: Com’è fatto l’uomo Veneto ?
Cara maestra precaria,
Secondo me c'è altro!
Saluti!

Chevin were a pachydermoid species native to Vinsoth, in the Outer Rim. The Chevin shared their homeworld with the humanoid Chev, whom they enslaved. They were mildly nomadic, living in wheeled cart cities, a sentiment that extended to their widespread exploration in the galaxy. Despite their ponderous appearances, Chevin were as nimble and quick as humans.

And for the Novel Prep Asks: 16. What is the theme? 5. Who is your protagonist?
16. The main theme I think is Discovery, but there’s a bit of Hiearchy in Nature. But mostly Discovery, with Stafford finding the new species fairly early on and then coping with that discovery for much of the rest of the novel.
5. I’ve answered this partially before, but it’s Dr. Cory Stafford, referred to as Stafford by her colleagues and Cory in the narrative. She’s an exo-biologist (not freshly graduated but this is her first mission away from the space station where she was working before) and is the junior exo-biologist on the mission. She’s also the one who discovers the Chevin, the first sentient species that mankind encounters during it’s expansion to the stars, and Cory becomes the biggest voice in favor of sentience status being granted to them. The story follows her initial discovery of the Chevin and then the fallout of it as she struggles to keep the respect of those on her team when many oppose what she’s doing.

Secondo me c'è altro!

The Diclonius and the Ajins are an emerging, but not registered within populations, race ever since 2005.
=+Most of the races on Bagklock Earth evolved on the planet, alongside humans.
+-The ‘almost’ extinct Vegeta-Saiyans are on the other side of the planet, but in the single digits and are very certain individuals, who do not know of the Bagklock!Saiyans.
+-Like in Disney movies, there are in fact talking animals as well, but only to themselves.
All of the races’ blood are a few colors: Pink, Blue, Purple, Orange, or Black. But, not red, like the Bagklock water. Black, blue, pink, and orange are the four most common blood colors.
Every race on Bagklock Earth, unlike real life Earth, would feel, and resist, that normal 111.8 degree temperature of an mortal Olympian like you would feel someone’s very high fever, expect it is normal.

What Species To Choose For Your Star Wars OC: Volume 2 (text only)
Text-only version of the Star Wars OC species selector (volume two) by @thefoodwiththedood
Answer the first question, then follow the number at the end of your selection to your next question; keep doing that, until you get a species. For more information on a given species, check the original post for links, or just search Wookieepedia.
0. Alright, first question: How Human do you want your OC to be?
Almost entirely human, save for some minor differences with their biology or appearance; I don't want to get too crazy with this, after all! (1)
Mostly human, but with some other features being prevalent; something with a human face, but distinctly alien (2)
Somewhat human, but with an alien face, features, and anatomy -- like an alien with human proportions (3)
Only human as far as their humanoid body shape (head, arms, and legs on a central torso) ; something almost entirely alien (4)
I want something weird and crazy, with hardly any human features -- humans are overrated, anyways (5)
1. Alright! Now, a common thread between these species are tattoos connected to their cultures; what are your thoughts on those?
Eh, they're not my thing (6)

Star Wars Alien Species - Zygerrian
The Zygerrians hailed from Zygerria, a planet located in the Chorlian sector of the Outer Rim Territories, on the outskirts of the galaxy. Organized under the Zygerrian Slave Empire, the species prospered on slave trade across the galaxy and especially within the Outer Rim. Eventually, the Zygerrian Empire came to dominate a large portion of the region, stretching from the planet Argazda down the Salin Corridor hyperlane.
The slavers were also in control of the Triellus Trade Route, which provided access to the planet Ryloth, the homeworld of the Twi'lek species. At the height of their empire, the Zygerrians provided slaves to other powerful factions operating in the region, such as the Hutt Empire and Chevin slavers.
During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, the planetoid Zygerria Four underwent bombardment with an attempt to drive off slavers who had settled there. The bombardment drove away many slavers, with one rich slave trader abandoning an entire palace. The bombardment also uncovered the ruins of an underground city on Zygerria Four, which various archaeologists gathered to study.
Thousands of years before the Clone Wars, the Republic outlawed slavery, and the Jedi—who served as the guardians of peace and justice for the Republic—began an anti-slavery campaign within the Outer Rim. As part of that campaign, the Jedi Order especially targeted the Zygerrians. After a brutal conflict, the Zygerrians were crushed, and many of their enslaved species were liberated.
Their empire having fractured, the Zygerrians retreated to their homeworld, and they were not considered a threat by the Jedi or the Republic after that incident. However, ever since their defeat, the Zygerrians longed to restore their slaver empire to its former glory. By the year 22 BBY, the Zygerrians, along with the Karazak Slavers Cooperative and the Thalassian slavers, had once again emerged as one of the leading slaver organizations in the galaxy, with an estimated income of billions of credits. As of the beginning of the Clone Wars later that same year, the species had created the secret Zygerrian Slavers Guild, a successor organization to their former slaver empire.
As the war raged on, the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Count Dooku, offered to supply the Zygerrians with slaves captured by Confederate battle droids on the battlefields.Dreaming of stretching the Zygerrian influence across the galaxy and believing the Republic too preoccupied with the war to stop her from reaching that goal, Zygerrian Queen Miraj Scintel allied her people with the Separatists. Aided by pirates and mercenaries, the Zygerrians began preying upon systems isolated by the war. They also established slaving outposts on many planets, such as Kowak and Listehol.
During the second year of the war, the Confederacy invaded the planet Kiros and captured its entire Togruta population. On the orders of Dooku, the Togrutas were handed over to the Zygerrians, and Scintel hoped to sell them at the Royal Slave Auction on Zygerria with the hope of restoring the Zygerrian slavers' glory.
Most of the slaves were transferred to a labor processing hub on the planet Kadavo, which was run by the Zygerrian Agruss, known as the Keeper. Meanwhile, Togruta Governor Roshti was kept on Zygerria to be presented at the auction as an example of the goods available for sale.
After liberating Kiros from the Separatists and finding the entire population gone, the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker embarked on a search for the missing Togrutas and infiltrated the Zygerrian homeworld. While Kenobi set off to search for the Togrutas, Skywalker posed as a slaver named Lars Quell, who wished to present a Togruta slave—in reality, Skywalker's Padawan, Ahsoka Tano—to Scintel. However, Kenobi was soon captured while trying to rescue Roshti.
Scintel held the auction as planned, which was hosted by a Zygerrian auctioneer, and many wealthy individuals came to bid on the Togrutas, but the bidding was soon halted in order to present a new exhibit—the captive Kenobi. At that moment, the auction was interrupted by Skywalker and Tano, who—with the help of clone trooper CT-7567—attempted to liberate Kenobi and to force Scintel to surrender.
However, after the clash of lightsabers and shock whips in the auction arena, the Zygerrians overwhelmed and captured the Jedi. Scintel kept her new captives alive, hoping to break the Jedi's will and make them her obedient slaves. Kenobi, CT-7567, and Roshti were transferred to Kadavo, while Tano was imprisoned on Zygerria and Skywalker made Scintel's personal slave. The queen's unwillingness to kill the Jedi prompted Atai Molec—the Zygerrian prime minister and Captain of the Guard—to invite Dooku to Zygerria to reason with her and execute the Jedi. After the Separatist leader arrived, Scintel refused to listen to him, and Dooku killed her. Meanwhile, Skywalker and Tano escaped and headed for Kadavo, prompting Dooku to contact Keeper Agruss with orders to kill Kenobi and CT-7567.
As Skywalker and Tano attempted to break into the Kadavo processing hub, Dooku ordered them to cease, lest the Keeper drop the captured Togrutas into the maw of a volcano below the facility. In response, Skywalker called in Republic reinforcements that he had requested earlier. In the ensuing battle, the slaves were liberated, the labor processing hub was destroyed, and the Keeper was killed, dealing another blow to the Zygerrian business.
The species recovered yet again, as Molec—who had ascended to the Zygerrian throne as the new king after Scintel's death—successfully resurrected the Zygerrian Slave Empire. Meanwhile, the Clone Wars ended in 19 BBY with the fall of the Galactic Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire in its place. Although the Galactic Empire quickly seized control of most of the galaxy, the Outer Rim Territories initially refused to acknowledge its authority.
The Zygerrian slavers were no exception, as they entered an alliance with Tervig slavers and Sikurdian pirates and established illegal trade routes along the Listehol Run and the Shaltin Tunnels. The slaver union also began raiding the newly reorganized Corporate Sector, an independent territory that shared borders with the Outer Rim.
The Galactic Empire was quick to respond to such insurgencies along the Outer Rim and began a campaign to subjugate that rebellious territory. In 18 BBY, an Imperial task force led by Admiral Wullf Yularen and Captain Bannidge Holt began the Listehol Campaign. A fleet of Invincible-class Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers, Venator-class Star Destroyers, and TIE fighters under their command defeated the Sikurdian swarms at the Battle of Sagma. Yularen and Holt then besieged Zygerria, forcing the Zygerrians to negotiate peace with an Imperial advisor dispatched to the planet. Placed under Imperial control, Zygerria served as a base of operations for a series of unsuccessful Imperial raids on the planet Tervissis.
The Zygerrian people were organized into clans and classes. They had a noble class, many members of which, despite their high status, pursued a career in the military. The Zygerrian Head of State was a monarch; female rulers held the title of queen, fully styled as The Most High Queen of Zygerria, while males were addressed as kings.
Male heirs to the throne bore the honorific title of prince, while the entire family of the monarch was referred to as the Zygerrian Royal House. The monarchs resided within the Zygerrian Royal Palace. A group of elite soldiers called the royal Zygerrian guard was specifically trained to protect the royal family and ensure the prosperity of the species' slaving business.
Individuals responsible for handling archives of the Zygerrian Slave Empire were called royal archivists. During the tenure of Queen Miraj Scintel and later King Atai Molec, the position of royal archivists was held by brothers Jorec and Mard Gemen. Zygerrian News was a media outlet that operated on the planet during the Clone Wars.
A warlike species, the Zygerrians held strength—both physical and mental—in great esteem, viewing it as a means to gain power and authority. The Zygerrians were cunning, ensuring that they had the upper hand in any situation, and traditionally settled their differences with an unarmed fistfight. They believed that it was the natural order of life for the strong to dominate the weak, so slavery was normal for the species, and a display of weakness could mean death or enslavement in their culture. Those unfortunate enough to become their slaves were viewed as inferior species by the Zygerrians. As such, a slave market thrived on their homeworld of Zygerria.
Because of those views, the species willingly cultivated its image as dangerous and unpredictable, in order to discourage others from challenging them. This tactic worked, and the Zygerrians were feared in spaceports across the galaxy, earning fame for their history of violence, piracy, slavery, and war. Despite their predations, the Zygerrians were nonetheless an advanced civilization.
Founded centuries before the Clone Wars, the Zygerrian Slave Empire focused on slave trading in the Outer Rim Territories for many years, until it was defeated by the Jedi. Eventually, the Zygerrians reestablished their business under the Zygerrian Slavers Guild, which thrived due to its disciplined and structured approach to business, as well as the Galactic Republic's diffuse presence in the Outer Rim. Each Zygerrian slaver had to pay a yearly membership fee to join the Guild and was then allocated a patch of space in which to work. The size of that patch varied from one planet to an entire system, depending on the level of membership the slaver paid for. The Twi'lek species preferred to use Zygerrians over other slavers, since the Zygerrians' "honorable" business approach reduced the damage that slavery inflicted upon Twi'lek society.
The species' natural physical strength was well-complemented by their mastery of various weapons, such as retractable shock whips. The shock whip was a traditional weapon of the Zygerrians that ensured that the target ensnared by the whip's electrified metal wires experienced great pain and muscle spasms. In combat, the Zygerrians tended to resort to non-lethal tactics, in order to maximize the number of prisoners captured.
In addition to shock whips, electrostaffs also saw widespread usage by the Zygerrians. The species also utilized firearms, such as the Zygerrian blaster rifle, which could fire both regular blaster bolts as well as shots that detonated on impact, creating an explosion.
The Zygerrians used shock collars to control their slaves, punishing those who displayed disobedience with painful jolts of electricity. Sometimes, those collars were outfitted with an explosive device that could be detonated if a slave tried to escape.
The Zygerrians utilized various creatures to travel on their homeworld, including the winged brezak creatures that the royal guard used to patrol the ground for escaped slaves. In order to transfer slaves between planets, the species used highly durable freighters, called the YV-865 Aurore-class freighter. The transports came equipped with grappling turrets that could be fired through open bay doors to ensnare victims and reel them inside the ship. Each transport contained space for numerous enslaved individuals but only required one pilot to operate it. The Zygerrians also used the versatile, long-range HH-87 Starhopper to patrol the airspace of their holdings.
Zygerrian clothing was characterized by a number of distinctive trends, both among royalty and other Zygerrian citizens. A typical male outfit consisted of a matching loose-fitting shirt and pants, with a piece of fabric worn around the neck, and a waistband held by a belt. Female clothing fit more tightly to their figure and typically consisted of a short skirt worn over pants. Females also donned various accessories, such as neck rings and coiled armbands worn above the elbow.
Both males and females generally wore dark-colored clothes, with shades of gray, brown, and dark-green being fairly prevalent among the Zygerrian people, although brighter colors were also an option, such as red, orange, or blue. Contrasting with the dull color scheme, Zygerrian clothing was often accented with bright stripes of red or gold. Some Zygerrian outfits were adorned with patterns, reminiscent of designs appearing among the species' architecture.
Individuals who held positions of power in Zygerrian society dressed in much more distinctive clothing. Zygerrian royalty displayed a lavish sense of style, exemplified by Queen Scintel's richly decorated long dress, golden neck and arm accessories, and a golden headpiece. Another member of the Zygerrian Royal House, Prince Sono Molec, wore a purple-colored outfit, complete with a long, flowing cape that was gold on the outside. During the Clone Wars, Prime Minister Molec wore a brown long-sleeved jacket with gold adornments. While stationed on Kowak, royal archivists Jorec and Mard Gemen wore identical blue-black outfits with white trim and white half-capes held at the neck by bead necklaces.
Zygerrian traders wore a set of armor, consisting of a sleeveless tunic that ended in flaps of varying lengths at the waist. Their outfits were combined with large helmets that imitated the shape of Zygerrian ears and left only a small part of their faces exposed. Zygerrian royal guards, such as Omus Krill, wore a uniform that looked similar to the traders' attire.
The Zygerrians were a bipedal sentient humanoid species. In appearance, the species possessed strong, angular features and large, pointed ears. Other distinctive features included long fangs that jutted from their jaws and claws that extended from their hands. Some Zygerrrians had faces and ears that were entirely covered with fur—ranging in color from brown to gray, red, or black. Other individuals displayed a certain amount of bare skin on their faces, which was light in tone. The Zygerrians' eye color varied between yellow and blue.
Males traditionally had more hair than females, with bands of fur growing on their cheeks. Male Zygerrians also displayed a number of bony spurs protruding from the chin. Females lacked the chin spurs, but they instead had smaller protrusions on their forehead. They generally had sallow complexions and were physically strong, but some individuals suffered from obesity.
Medium-sized, they usually grew up to 1.7 meters or 5.6 feet and weighed around 60 kilograms or 132 pounds on average.
The Zygerrians, who were originally depicted in the EU as resembling humans with pointed ears, long red hair and bony spurs on their forehead and chins, were redesigned. Dave Filoni felt this look was too close to a live-action TV show with limited makeup resources for aliens, and opted to blend them with a coyote-like appearance, stating the coyote's trickster reputation helped the Zygerrians look more cunning and deceitful.
Zygerrian age at the following stages:
1- 9 Child
10 - 16 Young Adult
17 - 39 Adult
40 - 60 Middle Age
61 - 80 Old
Examples of Names: Agruss, Darts D'Nar, Atai Molec, Miraj Scintel, Atlee Thanda, Marko Tyne, Zolghast.
Languages: The Zygerrians spoke Galactic Basic Standard with a pronounced accent. They also had their own language, which was spoken among the Zygerrian slavers on the planet Kowak, the species' major outpost active in the years following the Clone Wars.
Skug: A common Zygerrian insult.

A Mon Alone
I come across this while browsing the internet in search of some lesser known star wars stories. I thought I would share it here.
A Mon Alone was an adventure for the Living Force roleplaying campaign. It was written by Morrie Mullins.
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/A_Mon_Alone
I'll write summaries of the characters backstories.
Gorak, a female Trandoshan
She knew she was raised as a slave in a starship and mocked by Wookiees for being short, pink-eyed and specially for being albino.
(Kind of like Feresk Tssat, aka Frisk, from Star Wars Squadrons. He has pale pink scales, which isn't the same as albinism.)
She was rented for a week by a huge Wookiee, but she could not recall what happened.
(Does this imply what I think it implies or did I spent too much time on the unholy part of the internet ?)
At that time, she was also regularly beaten, which served to increase her skin's hardness.
Eventually Gorak was freed, and she met slaver Phylus Mon, a Chevin. He offered her a job at his zoo, food and clothes. However, upon hiring her, Phylus Mon injected an explosive near Gorak's heart. This mechanism was a security measure that Phylus Mon used in every one of his slaves. (Phylus Mon paid his slaves and insisted in calling them employees - but at the same time, all of them knew they could not leave his service or they would die.)
(Did the writer of the Suicide Squad read this ? What was first ?)
Gorak's job included handling violent animals, apparently because of her own experience with violence and because of her phylosophical views on the innate violence of the reality After years working on it, and specializing in Acklays and Rancors, Gorak developed the ability to identify most species by their odor. She is a Trandoshan after all.
She also developed claustrophobia.
In around 20 BBY Phylus Mon decided to take Gorak in a mission. Gorak was not informed of the details, but she was introduced the other members of the team.
She disliked Nalz the Spiner.
She sexually liked the Barabel bounty-hunter Yerj, although the feeling was not mutual.
However, the last team member was the Wookiee Kaarror, for whom she felt an innate hatred.
Gorak and the other minions attacked the Almas Sith fortress in Cularin system. The fortress entrance was being protected by six Jedi, but Phylus Mon sent no less than thirteen minions. Phylus Mon's team killed four of the Jedi and defeated the other two, even although Gorak and Kaarror spent the whole battle insulting each other from different sides of the field.
(This DND party needs some team training! I would watch the show just about them going on crazy adventures.)
In the fortress, Phylus Mon performed a Sith ritual to transform Gorak and the others in Sith battlelords: After a dangerous, life-threatening process, they were supposed to rise as powerful military commanders that could use Force powers to deal with insubordination of their troops. However, something went wrong with the ritual: Gorak and the other prospective Battlelords were stripped of their Force-essences, which would be stored in a large crystal.
(Well, it went as well as I thought it would. Don't do creepy rituals!)
Phylus Mon left the fortress with the crystal, but without Kaarror and the other empty bodies. Those bodies would then be found by a search team sent by the Jedi in the Almas Academy. The bodies were sent to the Academy. There, the Jedi tried their best to recover the lost essences and restore them to their previous state.
(Well the ending is a downer. I guess they're just waiting to be saved to this day.)
