Lost and Found
Pairing: Bridget Hearts x fem!reader
Genre: mostly fluff, mention of bully
note: OC name Cherise aka daughter of Cheshire Cat
word count: 1222
Summary: Bridget finds herself lost in the woods after the vks were chasing her and had gotten hurt. As she tries to find her way back to the academy, she had cross pass to a past friend
"Come out Bridget" Uliana called sweetly. "We were just having a little fun right" she said followed by a cackling laugh along with her followers; Harry and Morgie as they continue looking for the princess who's hiding somewhere.
They were at it again, bullying poor Bridget when all she wanted was to be friends. And like always, in exchange for her kindness, she gets tormented by the vks but that still doesn't stop her from befriending them and it seems like she won't stop until she does but for now she must hide.
Bridget then notice they were getting closer on her hiding place and the only escape is the window with no other hiding place unless she makes a run for it through the forest.
With no other choice, she opened the window and bolted towards the woods. Just as she hide behind the safety of the trees she saw the vks passed her previous hiding place before looking somewhere else to find her.
Knowing she wasn't safe yet, Bridget decided to walk further into the forest just to let the vks cool down and eventually forget about her.
"They won't look for me in the forest right?" She said to herslef.
But as time passed, little did she notice how unfamiliar her surroundings has started to be. She doesn't know where she is, everything looks the same and it's no help that the sun was nearing to set.
"Oh where am I?" Bridget asked herself, looking left and right.
At first she didn't thought too much of it since she can still see the academy but she went a further into the forest and now she's lost. And now, the sun is almost setting and she's not one that enjoys the dark. There were all sorts of path leading to who knows where. In wonderland there may be signs that don't make sense but she's quite familiar with but the woods here don't have any.
Just when she thought all hope is lost, the princess heard something, just far from a distance where she stands. She heard someone . . . humming? This deep in the forest? Well she's not really in the place to judge since she herself is in the forest. But unlike her, she's already panicking as the sky began to darken and yet this person is humming like they haven't had a care in the world.
Bridget followed the soft sound until she finds herself to a large tree and within its branches was a girl, lying with its . . . tail? swinging back and fort.
It was a girl but with a fluffy tail and cat-like ears on top of its soft blue hair. The girl was just humming a soft tune as if lulling herself to sleep. But what really intrigued her was the colour of its fur. It's familiar with its soft colour pattern of soft blue with pink strips. An unlikely colour for normal cats here but quite normal in wonderland to one particular person she knows.
And then it hit her.
"Cherise?" Bridget called out to the cat on the tree.
"Hmmm" the cat-like-girl responded, not even bothered to open her eyes. But she's already of her presence.
Cherise Cat, unlike her father, Cheshire Cat —who likes to prank unsuspecting people in his woods—she likes to relax in her tree and away from people that would bother her. But she still entertains anyone who crosses her path. Especially this little prissy pink Princess of Hearts.
"Oh thank goodness you're here." Bridget let out a sigh of relief as she approaches the girl and her tree.
Cherise open one of her eyes now fully awake from her nap. She stretches her limbs before facing the princess.
"My, my, what curious steps have led you here? Were you searching for something, or did something find you? But then, does it matter which came first"
Cherise was always one that speaks in such riddle manner which to anyone else might find quite annoying but Bridget like it whenever the two would hold their rare conversation.
"I'm kinda lost and I was hoping yo—" Bridget admitted.
"One is never truly lost if they're heading somewhere, even if that somewhere is just beyond reach. But tell me, are you truly lost, or do you merely wish to see what's just out of sight?"
"Well . . . ” Bridget look down on we fiddling fingers as she recalls the events why she was lead to the forest.
"I was just out going for a little walk but then I got confuse where the path I came from since—" before she could continue Cherise suddenly appeared before her, just a few feet close, her grin still in full display. To others it would frighten them instantly but Bridget was quite use to it and honestly find it comforting.
"You don't have to lie to me princess but I wouldn't force you to tell me either" the cat-like girl said as she levitates off the ground and above Bridget's head. It wasn't that she wasn't interested but she could see how uncomfortable the princess was in sharing so she let it be. "You'd need only to follow me" Cherise said before she starts to floats along a path.
The princess smiled grateful for not pushing her to open up and followed quickly.
Along the walk you Cherise wasn't even flying that fast but Bridget was falling behind. She looks back to the girl below and notice the faint limping movements on the girl's left foot.
The cat tilted her head before vanishing into thin air.
"Cherise!" Bridget called out, panic arise again when she saw the cat disappear. She was about to run but stop when she felt soft hand on her leg, she looks down and find the grinning cat inspecting her leg closely.
"Well that won't do" Cherise said before conjuring a bandage and gently wrap the swollen foot.
The gesture and how gentle Cherise was being made the princess blush but let the cat-like girl do as she please.
When the cat was done she disappeared again and reappear right in front of her with her hands stretch out. "This is as far as you go" she said. As much as she likes Bridget's company, she wont let her limp all the way back to school.
The statement made Bridget confuse since it seems like they're still deep inside the forest. But nevertheless she took the cat's hand. Cherise's hand was soft and warm but before she could further speculate the touch.
Cherise then pulled the princess close then twirl her around, evaporating both her and the princess. Bridget was shock from the motion but then when she compose herself, she realized that they were back at the school and in front of her dorm room.
The cheshire cat had teleport them back to the school in just a second.
"What the . . . " she turns to face the girl who was now floating just above her, with her famous cheshire grin still on her face.
Bridget notice that Cherise was slowly disappearing again but before she could, the princess suddenly blurted. "Thank you" as she gave her a smile of her own.
Cherise grins widen, she reach to the princess' hand and left a light kiss before her body disappear, leaving Bridget alone to rest. "Until the next time princess" the cat's voice fades along with her presence leaving only her smile before it completely disappear.

Hello.... If you don't mind me asking, who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series (can be canon or non-canon)? Feel free if you want to write the reasons or not of why you love them...Thanks if you want to answer....
Thanks for the ask and damn I'm always so excited when it comes to these so ofc I don't mind, also warning I'm about to kinda go off. It's a pretty long list so I'll only talk about the ones that left the biggest impression on me.
Warning for mentions of twincest, incest and age gaps.
Starting off with the ship that indoctrinated me into the bl life style *drumroll*
Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter (aka Drarry); enemies/rivals to lovers, blond x ravenette, they basically set the precedent for every ship I pick up like a stray cat these days.
Bakugou Katsuki/Midoriya Izuku (Bakudeku): Enemies to lovers, plus constantly on each other's mind as a motivation in one way or the other. I love them so much.
Mikage Reo/Nagi Seishiro (NagiReo): one of my current hyperfixations, mainly cuz they're one of the few ships I have that wasn't introduced as rivals from the start as well as being extremely close canonically. They click so well despite their miscommunication (more like no communication but I'll probably get to that another day).
Gojo Saturou/Itadori Yuuji (GoYuu): Most of my blog will you a clue already lol.
Sukuna/Itadori Yuuji (SukuIta): Number one toxic ship rn, but would you believe I prefer their siblings falling in forbidden love trope?
Mikaela Hyakuya/Yuuichiro Hyakuya (MikaYuu): Found family lovers that will give anything for each other? Sign me up.
Tyki Milk/Allen Walker: I walked into the D.gray man fandom late and I will never not regret it, I need more people that at least know who they are (〒﹏〒)
Eren Jeager/Armin Arlet & Eren Jaeger/Levi Ackerman (Eremin & Ereri): Getting these two out of the way at the same time cuz while I think Eren is undeniably his best self a lot with Armin, I love the thought of Levi being there as his inspiration.
Itoshi Rin/Itoshi Sae: Their beef is adorable but they need to fuck.
Roy Mustang/Edward Elric: I love their banter and they've both been through way too much together.
Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent (Superbat): one is batman the other is superman...Need I say more?
Dick Grayson/Tim Drake: I watched Titans and they had me.
Luka/Adrian (Lukachat): I stopped watch Miraculous at like S3 but these two are the only salvageable treasure from that mess to me.
Sherlock Holmes/William James Moriarty (Sherliam): From Moriarty the Patriot not any other adaptations please. There was that one movie tho. I love how they're constantly teasing and trying to outsmart each other like yeah babes, burn that city down to get his attention.
Kageyama Tobio/Hinata Shoyo (Kagehina): I haven't finished Haikyuu S2, spare me.
Kagami Taiga/Kuroko Tetsuya: what's with sports anime and K names, that aside, I don't know but their separation leaves me in tears everytime.
Yukio Okumura/Rin Okumura: Rin cares so much, Yukio stop being a yandere you closeted brocon! I know you!!!
Wei Wuxian/Lan Wangji: I have a thing for broody possessive tops and oblivious bottoms and they were my awakening.
Hideyoshi Nagachika/Ken Kaneki (Hidekane): Receiving Tokyo ghoul spoilers of how things ended kept from finishing the show or starting the manga, what even is the point .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.
Draken/Mikey/Takemichi & Draken/Mikey: DraMiTake is something I'd consume if I find it cuz I read this one precious fic I will forever cherise but DraMikey has way too much angst potential on its own. Tugs my heart to know Draken keeps Mikey grounded.
Baji Keisuke/Chifuyu Matsuno: Kazutora I will never fucking forgive you.
Hanma shuji/Kisaki Tetta: psychotic boyfriends, we love to see it (✿ ♡‿♡)
Reinhard Van Astrea/Natsuki Subaru: They are literally my banner plus he's one of the few people that doesn't give Subaru a hard time (I only watched S1)
Sebastian Michaelis/Ciel Phantomhive: Butler x master, what else do I need to add. I do absolutely adore the thought of Sebastian being cheeky when putting his young master in his place. I also love soft Sebastian, go figure.
Carnegie/Jonathan Sterling: No one remembers Darkside so I won't even dive into it. These two are the reason I'm trying to finish the series right now, book girlies, read Darkside by Tom Becker and come find me please ಥ‿ಥ
Dante/Vergil: It just makes sense ngl.
If you made it this far...why did you lollll, but honestly thanks for reading, talking about ships is one of my things and be free to ask again if you want me to expand upon or analyze any of these, that or if you just want recs. I'm down for anything.

I am genderqueer teen. I am, well, was a Harry Potter kid. I am a reader.
Growing up Harry Potter ment everything to me. I wanted to be like Ginny, who was always so witty and cool. I wanted to be like Hermione, who was so smart. I wanted to be like Harry, who was kind and brave. And I wanted to be like Ron, who was always loyal to his friends.
Then I grew up. Harry Potter ment less to me but I cherised my good meomories with it, occasionally still picking up the books. I knew it was not perfect, but I didn't really care. It was a safe read and a big part of my childhood.
The came she-who-must-not-be-named and said... a bunch of things. And the problems of the books became more clear to me than ever, from casual misogyny and fatphobia all the way to slavery. I hated the books and knew I would never again read them.
But that realisation hurt. It hurt to have to bury a part of my life like that. It hurt to have those rose pink glasses shattered. It hurt like hell.
Then, I heard someone say that it was okay to have complicated feelings towards the books. Hearing someone comfirm it to me felt good. Like my struggles were real and someone understood that it felt bad, no matter how small of a problem it actually was.
That was when I desided, ghat I would once more pick up the books. I would read them carefully, one by one. This time I wasn't a kid with no sense of how harmfull some of the things actually were. This time I would see for myself how bad some of the things were. And maybe I would also get to feel that small sense of happy nostalgia one last time
I would get to say goodbye on my own terms.
So, I am going to be taking notes of my reading experience. I will write down different parts of the books and study them. At the end I will write a detailed essay on my feelings towards the books, sort of like a rewiew of them.
What will I do with the books afterwards? I don't know. My oldest, broken paperback of the Philosophers stone I might as well burn. I might thorow the books away. The expensive special editions I might sell. Maybe I'll even keep one, but I don't think so.
If anyone is interested, I'll post about my journey here on Tumblr.
You'll find the posts under the tag
#hogwarts final goodbye letter project
I'll post the final essay here too if you'll wanna read it. Join me on my journey, if you'll like. And lets say goodbye together.

Would it be alright to submit a request? If you are not taking any right now, than feel free to ignore! I wanted to ask if you could write more from Brandon Heat and or Beyond the grave. Maybe both? Where the reader knows Beyond the grave as Brandon before he dies and now meets Grave? Maybe where Grave gets flash backs of the reader from his past life, however, the reader keeps their distance as they try to deal with their emotions?
Bones — Beyond The Grave
• Sypnosis || A man-made enigma whom once was a human you could so easily befriend.
• pairing || Grave/GN!Reader
• warnings || some divergent, slightly inaccurate medical information displayed, sloppy writing
• Note || of course! I’m happy to take a request to fulfill my bland life… lol. You didn’t specify what kind of piece you wanted, so I went with headcanons + a drabble :)
You had truly loved him, a precious and dear friend that you had cherised all your memories with. In spite of his position as a top sweeper in Millenion, Brandon Heat still found it in himself to be kind—to bring a silent kindness to be found later on.
So just how?… How did he just die so unexpectedly? There is no way that Brandon had betrayed the Code of Iron. Brandon was too kind! Too hurt to be brought pain that had already been embroiderd into his heart.
There was no way in hell this was possible, you thought you were dreaming. This whole thing must’ve been a nightmare all along, it simply had too be! Brandon would never betray Harry, they were the bestest of friends, not even yourself had come close to them.
To say you had a very broken heart for years upon years was an understatement, to be faced with his new identity after all this time was a shock.
You never expected this development, to be crashed down with his supposed death. And he was here? After all this time!
He didn’t remember you, only mere flashes from his previous life had given him some semblance of who you are. Instinctual as it is, for it had went the same with Mika, the daughter of his now deceased boss.
This wasn’t something you wanted to deal with, to see the face of a man you thought was dead for so many years—Grave who came from beyond the grave, and killed his own best friend. Karma you supposed.
You weren’t sure how you were gonna be able to fathom Grave’s existence, one of the strongest deadman you knew. The only deadman you know, and he was a shell of your former friend, Brandon Heat.
With a careful eye, you looked over to where Grave had sat, blood flowing into his veins from every tube. He seemed so unreal.
How he was truly here and existing… damn straight you didn’t even get how he can fight with the way he is.
“To protect.”
You had heard him murmuring that phrase once many times. Oh how can he do this to himself, once you had learned of how Dr. Tokioka had taken it upon his skills to renanimate Brandon Heat—now Beyond The Grave. You just still couldn’t wrap your head around it.
Now, you just wanted to keep yourself at a distance. Seriously given the thought, you could actually see him, touch him—made you shudder. A strange hand, whom you acquainted with very familiarity, laid on your shoulder as a means of reassurance.
“[Name], you are sure you want to be here? I understand his presence is strange.” Mika vocalized, assuming your worries from her viewpoint. As it would be, she was naturally attuned to one’s emotions once she had gotten to know someone as a friend or merely an acquaintance.
You nodded, “It’s no big deal, he can’t control the situation.” Waving her off, yet you still were disturbed. Mika’s brows knitted, lined forlorn to her noticeable look of concern coloring her tone.
“Still, say something. You don’t need to make yourself uncomfortable.” As always, she was a stubborn one. You could’ve thought she would’ve gotten it from Big Daddy, but it reminded you immediately of Brandon. How he could have a type of stubborn-passion, to be concerned for those he cares about.
Honestly it had brought a sense of peace to your mind, the way that Grave had taken Mika in and raised her himself —in a sense of course. It had reminded you that in a way, Brandon was still there.
A creaking groan interrupted the thoughts of those thinking, Grave seemed to be in considerable trouble as the monitors alerted the distress he has. “Oh no!” Immediately, Mika had went to work.
Mika zipped to the monitors, inspecting what the problem had been. It was the blood, there was congested blood cells that had made its way into his blood stream. Grave couldn’t handle diseased cells when he was in slumber.
You were a little shaken to say the least by the new developments, simply just standing there as you felt panicked, and a sense of hopelessness creeping its way into your body. You couldn’t do anything to help, you wouldn’t know what to do anyhow.
Mika had went to even further work, now ounce of hesitation in her stride as she had made steps to remove the diseased cells with a little help from a syringe she had kept in a nearby room, alongside her medical tools kept specially for Grave. She had injected a kinetic fluid to help remove the cells, you had just watched it all happen.
“Are.. you okay?” You asked aloud, walking up to Mika. She nodded with a slight smile, a little bead of sweat had dripped down her face. “No worries, he is fine.”
At her own words, she had paused and recognized your concern. “I’m fine too!” She smiled wiser. You nodded, brows furrowed as you looked at Grave.
He was still asleep.
Right, he was asleep still! Good, you didn’t think you could’ve handle him being awake at the moment. To be this close to his face.
His scarred increment, his lost eye.. Grave seemed impossibly so attractive. Even in the confines of his slumber.
Oh hell no, you weren’t about to catch feelings for him. Not again. You had thought, inching away from the seat Grave had resided in. You weren’t about to linger any longer.
Mika spoke out to you, “[Name]?” You looked at her wearily. She too had a weary look about her eyes, as she had looked your appearance in the eye, top to bottom. “You should get some rest at least.”
As ever, she quipped the earlier conversation. But now, you were considering it. “Ah, yeah. Sorry, you get rest too!”
Mika had a spark of surprise at your statement, “Yes.. guess you’re right too.” You nodded with a smarmy smile, laying a hand on your chest as you took a dramatic pose.
“Miss Mika, respect your elders!” You chuckled, she too nodded with a laugh. She was still so young, you were just aging, you almost felt jealous she had her youth.
“Yes [Name], I will not forget that.” Mika muttered, a forbearance of sarcasm in her tone as she matched your energy.
With a wave, you began making your turn to walk out and retreating to your makeshift room. “Alright, then. See you later.”
Mika nodded and waved you off, leaving you too your thoughts. You stifled a sigh, lingering about as you had made your way to your temporary home, your room. You weren’t too sure were too go with these new circumstances.
How to face him.
Grave, Brandon Heat? You were so sorry.

The Underrated Charm and Star of Theresa Harris By Constance Cherise
When she was garbed in fur laden fashion by Orry Kelly, it was right on her. When she performed as a replacement for Ginger Rogers’ character in PROFESSIONAL SWEETHEART (‘33), she left Rogers' performance shattered (although Rogers’ singing was most likely dubbed). When she performed with Eddie “Rochester” Anderson in BUCK BENNY RIDES AGAIN (‘40), she was girlishly charming. Talent explodes from this beautifully elegant woman, in a tiny 5’2” frame, who was given mere snippets of screen time. Her versatility when performing proved she had all of what it would take to successfully compete with any of her counterparts, and that she could easily dominate leading roles.
In researching the career of Theresa (aka Teresa) Harris, there truly is not much information readily available. One comes across a repeated staple of accoutrements: she was born in Houston, she was outspoken and intelligent, she possessed innocent beauty. She was uncredited in many roles and unaccepting of the stereotypical “Mammy” portrayal. According to online sources, the number of films she performed in vary between 70-90. However, the fact that she shared the screen alongside the greatest of Hollywood's Golden Age, including Stanwyck, Dietrich, Harlow and Gable [Madonna's “Vogue” comes to mind], is resoundingly indisputable.
Articles and books alike generally re-state the same facts and quotes as information is limited, and this is absolutely a shame because just a glimpse of Harris' talents, when she was given the slightest chance to expand her roles, proves she was nothing less than radiant.
Harris is probably best remembered for her performance alongside Barbara Stanwyck in BABY FACE (‘33), a film known for the untraditional on-screen interracial friendship between Chico (Harris) and Lily (Stanwyck), as well as its sordid subject of a calculating woman who sleeps her way to the top. Hooray for the pre-Code era! As Lily’s status grows, Chico’s role must change as the two cannot co-exist in the same frame of friendship, at least to the public eye. While it is true that Chico eventually becomes Lily's maid, what isn't as precisely clear is whether Chico’s subservient role is a necessary evil, a mutually beneficial business collaboration or a combination of both.
Chico: Is these the new furs honey?
Lily: Not so much honey...
Chico: Yes ma'am!
In two separate instances, Lily makes it crystal clear to her father and later her lover that she and Chico are an indivisible set. As Lily's fortune, and wardrobe, grows, so does Chico's, although the majority are refined maids’ uniforms. The entire premise of the film is Lily manipulating men to achieve the life she desires, and it's clear that not only does she refuse to leave Chico behind in her imminent rise, but that Chico is a willing accomplice as both benefit from Lily’s duplicity. Given the subservient roles relegated to black performers at the time, it is almost shocking, yet at the exact same time somehow unexpectedly intriguing, to witness. In fact, Harris' performance in the film inspired two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage to create the play By the Way Meet Vera Stark.
A few articles state that Harris is given almost equal screen time in BABY FACE, however in my humble estimation, it is actually surprising how much more screen time Harris is given alongside Marlene Dietrich in the comedy THE FLAME OF NEW ORLEANS (‘41). In fact, Harris is given almost as much as the lead. Not surprisingly, Harris plays a maid yet has similarities to her role in BABY FACE as she once again is a cunningly convincing co-conspirator to Dietrich’s amusingly scheming deceit.
In PROFESSIONAL SWEETHEART, Harris performs alongside Ginger Rogers, and although she has very little screen time and is uncredited, when given the platform she is a fiery siren. Not a siren in a bombshell body type of way...a siren in a “once I start to perform, you better HOLD YOUR MAN (’33) type of way, as her sensuous vocals ignite the airwaves. (Pun intended, Harris starred alongside Jean Harlow and Clark Gable. Harris is great in that film as well.) It seems all the things she wants to be, but isn't allowed to be, translate through her voice. Harris’ performance is sinewy, scintillating and smoldering. Her husky vocals drip with eroticism awakening the sacral chakra. In that one performance, she expertly delivers, upending the entire film not only stirring the passions of the opposite sex but shockingly for its time, the reaction is reflected in white male actors.
The agent attempting to steal Rogers' character away from her current employer while listening to Harris over the radio states: “Think about it, every man in the country listening to that creature”...but her vocals are so sexily overwhelming even Rogers' character knows she is pulling at invisible straws, evidenced by the expression of jealousy plastered over her face and her husband’s subsequent provocation. Harris' performance in the film THUNDERBOLT (‘29) also mirrored this same reaction, and clearly the directors of each film wanted this to be markedly apparent. Truth be told, even in current times, Harris’ performance is so incendiary with its seductive runs and glissandos, an alien would find it titillating.
Perhaps Hollywood saw, and was threatened by the great potential in her, and that just may be precisely why she was essentially boxed in. When Harris performed in a scene, regardless of who surrounds her, your eyes naturally gravitate towards her magnetism, and that level of subtle explosive power can easily obliterate anyone else within the lens of the camera. It is abundantly clear Harris could hold yours and her own at the same time, executing with such refined finesse, such grace, it's contemptibly somber to know that her talent, along with a bevy of other black actors, were so underutilized.
