After barely any thought and no reflection, I've come to the inarguable conclusion that Warhammer 40k is just the adult version of Warrior Cats.

Both franchises feature an incomprehensible amount of lore, a completely inpentatrable list of novels to read if you haven't been continously reading since day 1, vivid descriptions of gore, many contributing authors, random dips and peaks in quality, brutal violence in the support of authoritarian, theocratic regimes, anachronistic power structures, large amounts of fan art, and questionable borrowing from the aesthetics of real life cultures.

There isn't even a difference in that there's sexism in the communities. Just that one is the cheetoh dust neckbeard brand and the other is internalized misogyny brand.

Indeed, the principle differences between the fandoms are as follows:

1) Warrior Cats has less multimedia presence while 40k as a franchise exists to prop up a miniature war game/painting hobby that relies on bleeding the hobbyists dry of their life savings, and

2) Warrior Cats fan animations are usually 2D drawins, whereas 40k fan animations tend to use 3D models.

The first time I noticed them when I was younger was on a leopard picture and I immediately started to crack up because what are those? those are just little cheetoh puffs!

CHEETOH IS HERE! Meet my orange cat....its not a normal cal trust me. I am still on debate to change his name because uh....well my friend and I thought the cheese chip Cheetos than Cheetoh. Cheetoh is a cat breed name. So idk if I should change his name or not. Cute fact of Cheetoh! He is the house cat of my Error and fresh household and protector of Krater and Scatter. uwu I will make cute doodles of them.

It's one I think he's had since his childhood, though he'll murder me if he ever knew I told you about it, so best keep it a secret, aye? 😉 As for myself, I have one of those little military bears, dressed in his own wee little kilt and everything.

A mini plush of Baphomet, one little German Shepherd, a pink cat named Strawbebby Cat, a little hand-crocheted fox named Bean, a cat named Binx, another black cat with a stitched up eye named Lucipurr, a little tiny cheetah plush named Cheetoh, an odd-shaped tiger squishmallow named Tigger, and an old bear fr my childhood with red eyes and a puppy dog nose, named Brownie. 😇🩵 Strawbebby Cat is my fave though, as is Riley Jr, the German Shep.

"Are you excited to take her home?" Bette broke the comfortable silence. Andrew nodded as he swung his legs over the edge of the uncomfortable hospital bed. Bette's labor had started towards the end of his work day two days ago. She'd calmly called up to him and told him that she needed to go to the hospital. Andrew had dashed down the stairs and grabbed her to-go bag. Loaded her into his new Jeep Wagoneer, and discovered that Cheetoh had crawled in the overnight bag. After pulling a U and wrangling the cat back into the house, he'd finally gotten to the hospital. Andrew was actually glad of Bette's belly laughs over the whole situation.

Colleen and crew were waiting for them at their house. They'd taken care of the cat and had brought over some meals from a food train that she'd set up. Andrew couldn't believe how relieved he was knowing that they had help. He and Bette had gotten annoyed at how "helpful" her family had tried to be during her pregnancy. "Are you sure we shouldn't stay another day? What are we doing? I'm not sure I'm ready for this."

"We're gonna be just fine, Andrew. Stop fretting. You're just jittery because we're in charge of a new little human, but don't forget - I've done some of this before. Heather was a good teacher for me."
