A New Guest
Imagine, Charlie finds a new sinner and takes him to the hotel.
When he settles down, he starts talking to other residents.
Angle: Sooo, how long are you here?
Sinner: About 20-30 years.
Vaggie: Wow! Where were you all this time??
Sinner: I was lurking around. Wasn't that hard, really. Since I died I don't have to eat.
Husk: Hmm... How did you die?
Sinner: On my death bed, surrounded by my loving family.
Niffty: Why are you here?
Sinner: Pardon me?
Niffty: What did you do to come to hell.
Charlie&Angel: NIFFTY!!
Niffty: What? He doesn't sound like a bad boi. Boring.
Sinner: Heh, a little funny actually.. I was a hunter. I used to hunt for living my whole life, until my kids got out to town and bought me there. Gosh, all that new technology! Made me insane
Alastor: I can understand you, my dear new friend.
Sinner: Thanks pal. Anyway, I was hunting one day, and I heard a shuffle and saw some brown fur. I thought it to be a deer, so I shot it.
Sinner: Unfortunately, it was our local radio host. Such shame... I loved his little podcast... I felt so bad for taking his innocent life and devoted mine to help other people...
Alastor: ...
Husk: That's unfortunate buddy. I guess you've got the highest change to actu- OH MY GOD ALASTOR PUT THE GUY DOWN
Vaggie: ALSTOR PUT OUR GUEST DOWN AAAA
Angel: CHARLIE CALL THE SHORT KING ALASTOR HAS GONE ROGUE HE RIPPED THE NEW GUEST APART

honestly at this point if i see 'lucifer fan' in bio - i run away and i run even faster if it's radioapple fun 🙃
too tired of 'tall buff stoic manly man and his cute short feminine girlie' i see 99% of time from these people
there's some who only post luci/lilith and these ones are ok (still not everyone tho) but the large part just have veeeeery different view on his character than i do
"too tired of 'tall buff stoic manly man and his cute short feminine girlie'"
Me too, bro. Me too. Why can't we have tall buff stoic masculine girlie and cute short feminine man. Or tall cute stoic man and short masculine girlie. Or short stoic masculine man and cute tall feminine girlie. Let's mix things up a little. Variety is the spice of life.
Apart from him being UwU-ified to Hell and back (lol), I think one of my biggest fanon Lucifer pet peeves is when he's absolved of all his faults and wrongdoings. Like, when the "blame" for Lucifer and Lilith's divorce is put solely on Lillith. Or she's made out to be this super abusive, manipulative partner who's been taking advantage of him since Eden. Like she's the one who kept Charlie and Lucifer apart, and thus is the reason they're so estranged. Like he's this wide-eyed, easily manipulated ray of sunshine who can't defend himself. Like he's this poor little baby man who's never done any wrong, and everyone else just bullies him.
I'm a-okay with Lilith being the big-bad of season 2, or season 3, because evil and/or morally grey female characters fuck yes, but after seeing how much hate she gets (after 5 seconds of screen time at the end of the show) and how much she's blamed for everything wrong in Lucifer's life, it makes me hope that she's not the villain.
A lot of my dislike for Lucifer's fanon characterizations is based on his interactions between Alastor or Lilith, I'm actually just now realizing.
This got a little side-tracked, but yeah, a large part of it really is just having very, very different views about his character.

I really wanna do a emilycharliealastor thing that starts of as top sadist with a corruption kink x bottom sadist with a corruption kink x stupidest purest angel in the universe who thinks she lost her virginity because she kissed a girl one whole time 300 + years ago,
But eventually after Emily (deeply, deeply fucking considering renaming her Emem, like Al suggests it as her new Fallen name) falls, and now Alastor and Charlie have a weird third in their marriage, she gets bullied so badly by Vaggie during her adjustment period that she has multiple suicidal mental breakdowns. And Alastor is like, really weirdly kind to her?? Em thinks that this is all her punishment for being a lesbian, Alastor tells her this is her redemption arc because now she gets to be herself, and help people without all of the insane and unhealthy weight of a police state ruining her sense of morality. Particularly, that survival isn't pretty, and its rarely good or moral to do it. Privileged people get to live, everyone else(black people) have to fight just to get by.
Vaggie overhears and is actually so fucking suprised by now empathetic and good of a speach that is, Alastor is immediately offended because fuck you I'm still evil fuck off. She wants to apologize for being petty(she had absolutely every right to be petty) but Al tells her to wait and let Em do hers first so her effort isn't wasted by forgiving her immediately after their fight. And then he coaches Em into a pretty good apology.
And like, idk a bunch of angel based lesbian spitroasting. Ya know how it is. Charlie's strap, Alastor being a pervert as always-
Problem: this is show lion au shit. And I haven't written any of that, so I'd have to explain everything in the notes I guess lmao. Like, in my au Vaggie was an angel. But she wasn't an exorcist, she was just a normal human. She eventually gave in to her Gay™ and kissed a girl, they got caught and the girl immediately accused Vaggie of assaulting her so Vag got punished while the other angel didn't (white women are always victims, while the horrible, aggressive brown lesbian was the aggressor. Classic bullshit racism and unfair judgment). Emily was the one who carried out this sentence. But again, police state, Em can't NOT punish Vaggie without drawing attention to herself, especially as a black woman. But Vaggie got tossed aside, and Em had to deal with the guilt and the guilt of what she did to everyone else too. This wouldn't be Atropa timeline wise, but same bones. Might write it still tho, I want Em to be complicated and interesting and also noncon'd

I wish Charlie was better written.
Of all the characters in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss, I think Charlie might be my most disappointing character and emblematic of alot of the problems I have with the show.
(My second most disappointing character would be Lucifer)
From the outset, Charlie SHOULD be a really good protagonist and an interesting character: the princess of hell, who grew up in a place surrounded by human evil and suffering, wants to make a positive change in her home by helping sinners redeem themselves from their sins and ending their eternity of suffering. Her naivete could be an advantage in her always seeing the good in someone, but also a flaw that needs to be addressed and corrected, as too much of it would cause her to make poor decisions.
But from the execution, Charlie in the show just comes of as a rich, airheaded nepo baby who never thinks things through and wants her "dream" to suceed just so she can win her parent's (mainly father's) love.
One of the big things I dislike about show Charlie is how childish and immature she is. She's 200 years old but comes across as being perpetually 15. It feels like she's just a "uwu pure girl" who needs to be coddled by other characters and can't stand up for herself.
Thing is I never had this problem with Pilot! Charlie. Pilot! Charlie is how I wish she was still written. She was naive yes, but she also felt more like a real, realistic person. She obviously didn't trust Alastor to help her but enforced her authority to make him help anyway, she stood up for herself against Katie Killjoy, and she just... felt powerful? Idk, Pilot Charlie just felt like she had her head on her shoulders. She felt like she went for more diplomatic solutions to problems out of a conscious choice to want to be better and uphold her morals, not "because it would be mean not too!" I don't think Pilot! Charlie would be so up in arms of Vaggie being an angel like series! Charlie was for some reason.
My big issue with Charlie is that as a main protagonist, she is very childish and her methods are ineffectual, but in the same breathe she's treated as if she doesn't need to change and her "methods" of redemption are the key to working.
Charlie in the show has a very childish understanding of what it means to redeem someone. Her big method of redeeming sinners boils down to "Not stealing, saying sorry, sharing circles, trustfalls" just basic summer camp activity stuff. She never gets to the root problem of redeeming sinners which involves actually engaging with the behavior that GOT THEM INTO HELL IN THE FIRST PLACE! She has never even once asked any of them what they did in life to get into hell. The simple question "How did you die?" opens up alot more doors for possible redemption than any of her "strategies" did in the show.
The thing is, this could've been a GOOD thing for her character. This childish manner of thinking of redemption could've been addressed as an actual flaw of hers to overcome. She could've learned to stop treating the sinners as children and learn to actually engage with them as people. Get into the root of their issues, ask them how they died and assess the behavior that got them into hell in order to help them change. But instead, Charlie's camp consoler solutions are said to be working just fine by Serpentious getting into heaven.
The big issue is that Charlie is never actually CHALLENGED or pushed back on as a character. She's not perfect but she's portrayed as such by the narrative. Any criticisms of her and her goals by other characters are seen as bad because of the characters who give them. And it's so disappointing because there SHOULD be. Charlie should get CONSTANT push back and resistance from her goal. She should be constantly having to asses her methods of redemption and whether her goal is even possible. Because it would make it all the more satisfying when she DOES succeed. Because her goal is a very good one for a protagonist to have.
But of course, this would also require Charlie to be actively engaging with more sinners other than just the main crew, but that's probably a topic for another time.

yeah I get that he's a rich dude with a heart of gold who buys his friends drinks and doesn't are when they use him for clout. I get that he's also super mushy about the new alpha in his vicinity.
but I'm going to need all that rubbish to stop right now. He dumped an alphas with blue balls because he didn't like his smell and he put his fuck buddy on a bet. I need more of this side of babe. i need him to be toxic with charlie. i don't know why. something about how angelic and innocent charlie looks just makes me want to see him cry and get hurt, for some reason.

ok i’m just saying what is it with charlie slimecicle and having ALMOST EVERY DND CHARACTER HES PLAYED EVER ON JRWI (william, gillion, and br’aad- technically not peter) have extremely complicated and immensely tragic relationships with their older sibling. like william and david, gillion and edyn, br’aad and sylnan- how does he keep doing this??? and why does it hurt so bad every time. like all his characters are just younger siblings who would do anything for their older sibling even to their own detriment, even if it ended up being the worst mistake of their entire lives, who so desperately want to trust that their older sibling is doing what’s right even if they’re so scared that they’re not. i

Why is there always two types of people when it comes to nick and charlie's being sexualized, there's the ones that sexualized them which is fucking disgusting because most of these people are adults. And then there's the people that are like "nick and charlie are so innocent, they would never ever do something like that because they are too innocent for that" and both of them are awfully wrong, it's NOT either sexualizing them or talking about them like they're 9 years old, like, you can also just talk about it like a something that's normal (which is. what it is) and just leave it. If you're one of these types of people please it's better to just stop talking about two minors sexual life all at once !!

*deep sigh* dream time before i forget:
First of all, this was all Tom Taylor’s nightwing. So, Barbara was batgirl and dick was a himbo. Anyways, babs had decided to infiltrate a gang against dick’s warnings that it wouldn’t end well for her but the gang decided to use her as a patsy because she was a noob/posing as a gang member’s girlfriend and set her up for a murder. Dick being his cop self was given point on the case (after gloating a bit that he was right) and was trying to prove her innocence. Also i think he was meant to represent her in court because dream logic? Anyways babs had managed to get a bunch of other cops on her side and get them to help her prove her innocence. Like, she got a conference room despite being in police custody, that’s how good she is. Dick was helping but also being a bit of a nuisance and cracking jokes/trying to be the center of attention/cheering up babs. Which is when i realized this was meant to be a romcom and i found this so ridiculous i woke myself up.
