Is Hazbin Hotel inspired by Charlie in the Underworld?

So I was playing this mobile game called Charlie in the Underworld and I noticed the premise and characters are REALLY similar to Hazbin Hotel. I'm not sure which came out first tho---Was wondering if anyone could tell me if one was inspired by the other.

Basically, the premise of CitU is that if someone dies after having lived a not-so-great life they have to pay off their misdeeds as a ghost before ascending to heaven, which is a pretty similar setup as Hazbin Hotel's. The names of the MCs in both franchises being Charlie could also have been a coincidence, but what really got me was how similar Charlie from Charlie in the Underworld is to Angel Dust. They're both extremely snarky and curse constantly. They also both desperately want to redeem themselves, no matter how much it seems like they don't, but despite how hard they try they never make it to heaven. Their designs are also weirdly similar? Like I don't know much about design but they look like one could have inspired the other to me. Here are some pictures for reference:

In addition to that, there are a lot of similar roles played by different characters in each universe. In CitU there's a ghost named Hayden who is extremely sweet but pretty naive, and he's one of the only ones who gets to eventually go to heaven, similar to Sir Pentious, a very seet but naive sinner who is the only Hazbin Hotel character to make it to heaven so far. Eugene is a character in CitU who's extremely nice and kind, sees the good in everyone, and is very put off by Charlie's rude ways under he learns to see the good underneath, similar to the Charlie in Hazbin Hotel and her relationship with Angel Dust. A ghost named River is very reckless and carefree and has a similar personality to Cherri Bomb. There are even parallels between a character named Boss in Charlie in the Underworld and Alastor, as both are the oldest ghosts in that area who are always in the shadows, keeping watch on people, appearing randomly, and are extremely mysterious about their past.

This could all be a HUGE coincidence, by the way. We live in a time where every idea has been done three times, and stuff about the afterlife has always been popular in human fiction, so I might be the only one who noticed this similarity and it might be entirely unintended by the creators of the game and the show. If it isn't a coincidence, though, and you know of some inspiration or collaboration, please let me know, 'cause I'm really curious.

EDIT: So apparently I am really bad with dates, and it turns out the Hazbin Hotel pilot came out before this game, BUT the prequel to this game came out before the Hazbin Hotel pilot. Maybe the pilot was slightly inspired by the first game, and the second game was slightly inspired by the pilot in turn?

sometimes i think about how eugene and charlie are about the same height but charlie died when they were a teen and eugene is in his early twenties-ish in ciu so it kinda implies hes shorter than average
