That is such a weird take and I have 3 counterarguments for it.

We literally have no canon confirmation of how the HB and HH timelines line up with each other, HB could be taking place before or even after HH for all we know.

Lucifer legally couldn't be in HB, because that's literally how copyright works. Can it happen in the future? Probably, because Viv wants it to happen, so I'm sure she'll find a way, but obviously the legal side of this hasn't been figured out yet.

Even in the canon HH itself set up we know Lucifer's tends to slack on his duties, so even if the HB timeline was perfectly lined up with HH's timeline and there were no legal issues, even then him not showing up is in character.

Hells greatest dad is not only Alastor vs Lucifer but also Alastor vs Lucifer for Charlie's attention. Alastor wants Charlie to need and maybe even depend on him and that is why I personally think that is why Lucifer was a Thorn in his side too.

Like yes Alastor definitely hates Lucifer because he hurt his pride by not knowing who he was but Lucifer also makes him down in front of Charlie, he criticized the design of the bar which was created by Alastor and calls him busboy in the while calling himself the chef, He also shoves Charlie physically away from him which also annoyes Alastor

I once saw someone saying how Alastor loves to annoy Charlie's loved ones (Vaggie, Lucifer) and it makes sense he did that because both of them don't trust Alastor. In the pilot Vaggie was the one who warned Charlie not to make a deal with him and in episode 5 Lucifer was obviously displeased with Alastor being so close with Charlie

Funny how Alastor ended up pushing both Vaggie and Lucifer away from Charlie while making himself look good in front of her

It makes sense that Lucifer now is the biggest problem in Alastor's eyes as he technically is the one who could separate him and Charlie especially if Lucifer now lives in the hotel and becomes a more prominent role in her life, therefore he is a threat for Alastor. The others in the hotel aren't really trying or able to keep her away from him.

Vaggie despite being skeptical of Alastor and being the one who warned Charlie in the first place made a seemingly "innocent" contact with him and even was happy as it turned out that he survived, Husk is owned by Alastor and we see that he has no problem to put him in his place when he does or says something Alastor doesn't like, Nifty is Nifty and wouldn't go against Alastor Angel dust and Sir pentious aren't really trouble for him either.

i personally think that making a deal with her for a favor or just a deal in generally was his reason to join the hotel in the first place. Having the princess of hell own his something is the key to either free himself from his owner or to rule hell himself maybe he needs her even for both.

That is something i found interesting in their relationship while i am not sure for what Alastor needs her. He needs Charlie just as much as she needs him so that her hotel can succeed, they can't reach their goal without the other ones help, They are dependent on the other one

Fanfic Prompt: Alastor’s father tries to make a deal with the literal Devil by selling his son’s soul in payment for riches and power after he kills Alastor’s mamma when Alastor is 5. Lucifer instead kills the bastard and adopts Alastor and takes him to Hell as a son and a little brother for Charlie.
