Are there any scifi books/authors that have influenced your writing style or approach to scifi?

Every scifi author that I've read, presumably.

I'm a fan of the older scifi authors who were just like "here is A Mindblowing Concept and here is something Extremely Fucked Up to cover it, have fun." Philip K Dick type shit. But for modern authors I think my biggest influences are KA Applegate/Michael Grant, and Andy Weir. If you read Charlie MacNamara, you can pinpoint the specific place I read The Martian for the first time and started adding a bunch of complicated physics shit. :P
