super funny how they gave erik a family to lowkey dodge cherik allegations (imo) just to kill that family and have the end of apocalypse drive home the point that erik will always find family in charles, no matter how little he thinks he has left or how much he errs. like ok man we get it they're in love and will have each other no matter what happens

I've recently read House of X/Powers of X and spent such a long time laughing at that Charles design... Then decided he's actually kind of fun to draw. And I just had to doodle the husbands cuddling (because yes they're married c'mon). I love how Erik is basically two times wider than Charles, he serves as an armchair

(Also reading HoX/PoX gave me the idea of shipping Charles, Erik and Moira from that universe- so there might be some doodles coming of that- I loved how the boys came to her for teatime guys 😭)

Watching the X-Men: First Class documentary and omg they’re literally saying Charles and Erik were a “tragic romance” and Moira’s bigger role in the earlier script drafts would’ve created more of a “love triangle” and omg this is actually real, the filmmakers actually said it, you guys there is no more room for debate here, it’s all canon.

i think its so funny how they tried to push the "charles and moira as a couple" in xmfc when all their deleted scenes were charles flirting with her and moira not giving a single fuuuuuck lmao she was so not having it!!! like the hints of her as a character with traces of an actual personality were all in those scenes and they've cut it out to make sure they could bring her back as the love interest in apocalypse *booing*
