Atena, it depends on the gender of the person. If they're more masculine aligned, she gets really...stupid. Like....Not bottle blond stupid, but...A bit obliviously stupid and shiny eyed around them. If it's a more feminine aligned person, she's a lot bolder and confident in her attitude with flirtatious lines.

Arik is not shy, he's very forward with his interests. He doesn't do secret crushes and he will definitely tell someone straight off if he's interested. He tends to spend more time around the person and pays attention to what they like/what they need, though, and tries to get that stuff for them.

Sergio's a little tougher to figure out, because he tries to be closed off and distant. I don't see him being open or forward about it, but giving the person little attentions here and there, remembering something they like and going out of his way to get it for them. Knowing if something annoys them and making sure they're not near it, or something along those lines. Just super small things that would make someone go "does he...? doesn't he...?"

Atena stood at the threshold of the clinic. They had gotten the map for the quest Varric needed, but the encounter in the Chantry wasn’t something she had expected. Nor had it seemed to set well with the former warden. She took a breath and stepped further in, seeing him towards the back of the clinic.

“I wanted to check and see how you were doing,” she explained when he noticed her. “After everything with...Karl.” She just knew they had been friends, not much else, but friends could mean a few things in Ferelden. It was a private culture, after all. “If you needed to talk.”

DAY 05: favorite multimuses

i’ve been trying to bring multimuses in on past days b/c i want to acknowledge certain characters on said blogs, but here i’ll just highlight the blogs as a whole!

a dragon age multimuse who i featured a couple times b/c i just. really admire their choice of muses as well as the writing! there’s not a muse on here i don’t love, even those like adrian that i’m not overly familiar with given i’ve yet to finish asunder. i can feel ciri’s passion when they write about each of their muses, and it invests me in each one. i’d honestly love a thread w/ each of their muses one day. gotta catch ‘em all.

first, it was apparently rachel’s birthday the other day, so happy birthday! second, mai is one of my a:tla faves (i actually rped her back in the day) and although i just followed this multimuse i’m excited to see her rps w/ mai. she’s an underrated character.

i’ve been following this blog since my mass effect days, back when they were bowtied, and they provided a lot of rly inspirational posts to anons and such on their dash! seeing them again, only now with more doctors, was a very exciting experience!!! it’s not something i’d seen before in the dw fandom, and i’ve adored what i’ve seen from them, even as someone who is only familiar with new doctor who.

i’ve only listed erran’s primary dragon age characters, but she rps tolkien as well as having a list of secondary muses! her ocs have interesting and complex backstories that really dig deep into dragon age lore, specifically fereldan lore and the civil war. they are such natural parts of the lore that i had to mark them (oc) otherwise you might confuse them with canons like eleanor and loghain.

multifandom, and some are fandoms i’m unfamliar with, which just goes to show how talented they are b/c i’m v selective with non-da multimuses! i’ve talked about peebee and miryin, but i also have been v pleased with seeing bolin on my dash! he was one of my faves from lok. and every time an isabela hits on solas another five minutes are added to my life.

there isn’t a muse here who isn’t fascinating and beautifully written. with the exception of moe, they’re all dragon age characters, and while i haven’t rped with all of them yet i hope to one day. skells is a wonderful writer and i’m glad a multimuse has enabled her to have more characters b/c that’s what we deserve.

i’ve been following pastry’s rp blogs for... idk... seven years now? a lot. a lot of years. i’ve seen a few of these muses in action on single-muse blogs, so i’m glad they can return in multimuse form. pastry’s samson and ashley in particular are old favourites, but looking at this list pastry has the magic ability to pull my faves out in general (i would die for zenyatta. and probably deserve it after how many times i’ve gotten him killed playing him...).

again, i decided to only list the dragon age muses to save me from tabbing back and forth, but this blog has so many fun muses aside from that! like spyro, taking me back to the days i would ask my dad to take me and my brother to a clubhouse so we could play one of the games on the ps2. and christopher robin! as for their dragon age muses, i’ve thoroughly enjoyed them. i still have a few to get to know, but their samson and minaeve are great, and i’ve known clancy for a few years now! it’s comforting to see him on my dash after all this time.

After everything, with Eliana having to leave her clan in such a traumatic manner, leaving everything she’d known and her friends, if someone were to surprise her with a reunion with her clan and her friends, I think that would definitely move her to tears. She cares a lot about Sabrae clan, as being an orphan especially, they all raised her. So leaving them was like leaving her family behind.

Atena isn’t the type of person to show tears. She’s a former soldier in the Fereldan military and rather hardened from her experiences. That being said, I’ve always felt like she feels like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders and did watch it all collapse in a sense during Act III. Maybe if someone found something of her former girlfriend’s who died at Ostagar to give to her, that would be a lot and she would start crying a bit.

The only thing I can think of is if Elera, his daughter, went missing and someone returned her to him. She’s his everything and he loves her with all his heart, so being apart from her and not knowing where she is? That would be horrible but he would be so happy he’d be brought to tears at her return!

Setting just after Act I and the return from the Deep Roads/Bethany being taken to the Circle

Did she have a habit of making excuses to go to Anders’s clinic? Perhaps Varric would say it, but Atena had perfectly reasonable reasons to do so. With Bethany having been taken the Circle, and Atena’s habit of getting into fights, there was a damn good reason to go to a healer. There was, also, the simple fact she enjoyed Anders’s company.

And so she found herself in the clinic with a superficial wound merely for the conversation. She had listened to his instructions and kept still as he tended to the gash on her arm. It had been a minor bar fight, just some idiots who thought they could one up her. But one got lucky.

“So, how have things been down here?” It could be taken she meant the clinic, but she was more concerned for Anders.

24. How does their afterglow look like?

***Afterglow, apparently, really depends on the sex and sexual partner, so we’ll just say for all of these it’s been great sex with a partner they hold very near and dear to them. Yes I researched it come at me.

AURORA

Aurora’s afterglow has a lot of humming, soft smiles, and easy movements to her typically quick pace. There’s a bit more of a bounce to her step and a little less restraint to herself that she typically as as the polite, reserved woman she tries to keep up in appearance. There may also be a bit more giggles than typically, as well.

SELENA

Very self confident and smooth. Every move is this graceful ballet look to it. She’ll wear a knowing smile and definitely, without shame, flirt with her partner rather boldly at times. And, also, might jokingly tease friends a bit more about their sex lives than normal.

ATENA

Really...Really...Daydreamy. And she definitely tries to hide it, which causes some awkward moments. But you will definitely catch her looking out a window with a wistful, small smile on her features and a gentler look in her blue eyes. Of course, if you ask her what she’s thinking about, she’ll get a hue to her cheeks and say it’s nothing at all.

SEIGFRIED

Confident and lackadaisical. Also more than likely to tell bad jokes. Maybe even attempt to sing a few bars of music badly. His devil-may-care attitude goes a bit up and he’s definitely going to be grinning a bit more than he typically does. Also will exchange a sly look with his partner if someone asks him why he’s acting how he is, whether his partner wants a look or not.

Dazbo - He loves attention, he adores it. But that doesn’t mean he wants the constant in your face type of attention. Just something as simple as sitting by him and holding his hand, running a hand through his hair, acknowledging him occasionally when you’re in the same room as him. Just give him attention.

Atena - Normally incredibly confident, very sure of herself...Until she meets someone she is actually completely attracted to. Then she is very doting and stutters at times as well. She absolutely detests it because she knows she’s confident, so gets a little frustrated at times.

Lir - Lir’s a very touchy lover. He very much loves to hold his lover’s hand, hold them in his arms, rest his head atop of theirs, just even the slightest of touch and he’s happy. Even just holding pinkies. He’s very gentle with his touches and lets his affections show through them.

Character solidifying! | ACCEPTING

1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?

I’ll answer for a few muses under cut since there wasn’t any specified!

Myrrdin and his father actually have a very good relationship. His father is the Hahren for clan Lavellan after an injury caused him not to be able to be a hunter anymore. They both have similar bright dispositions, the only time they really clash is when Myrrdin gets a little too cocky for his father’s liking. His father’s optimism and attempts to find common ground with people he had disagreements definitely shaped Myrrdin’s attempts of doing the same.

While Atena and Malcolm did have a good relationship, she felt distant from him because she wasn’t a mage. She was even a bit jealous at times of the attention Malcolm gave Bethany when tutoring her. In an attempt to garner attention, she worked hard to be a warrior, winning small time tournaments in Lothering but was very careful to divert attention from her family. In time, she took on teaching Carver how to fight after he got into a scuffle and ended up with a broken nose. So I suppose Malcolm’s influence, unintentionally, was a key component for Atena to become a skilled warrior.

Seigfried and his father have always been on odds. Their family would say it’s because of their similar personalities, but both would venomous deny that. All Seigfried could see of his father was a pious and controlling man, while Richard Trevelyan saw Seigfried was a rebellious and shameless youth. Both ignored the stubbornness and sense of adventure both had. After Richard died at the Conclave, Seigfried felt immense regret at not trying to do more for their relationship.

Emris doesn’t know his father, not personally. But he hates him with every fiber of his being for what he did to his mother. He holds an uncanny resemblance to his father (an effect of being elf blooded) and he despises it. And no matter how much he says he hates his father, his father is a large reason why he steals from the nobles of Kirkwall for the people in the lower quarter. Sure, it’s noble, but it’s also biting his thumb at the class his father is in.

Katarina and her father have a distant yet respectful relationship. He wasn’t keen on his daughter joining the templars after his other daughter had been taken to the Circle, but Katarina pushed for it. If her father had had his way, she would have been married off to another noble in Wycome and be a socialite noble with some business to be able to sit around comfortably. He still attempts to talk her out of being a templar, but it doesn’t ever work.

“Anders is...A complicated man.” Atena wasn’t sure how to continue after that. It was the truth; he had multiple sides to his person, nothing could ever truly summarize him. “He’s passionate and he cares about people. That was...Definitely some of the allure, besides his looks, obviously. He’s been through a lot, which I think causes some of that passion to turn to rage at times. But he’s very careful about the people he cares about...No matter how small of a circle that seems to be.

He speaks his mind, he’s not afraid to stand up. He’s a talented healer and well aware of what he wants and what his goals are. I just...Worry sometimes he might get too desperate for them. I want to keep him safe but I don’t know if I can do that, sometimes.”
