Forever thinking about bad batch cosy nights on Pabu. Family game night in front of a roaring fire, siblings throwing shit at each other when Crosshair just full out throws up a whole street of hotels in space monopoly. Hunter makes everyone hot chocolate (him and Cross put a lil something extra in theirs if you get me). Hunter is sitting in a big armchair with Omega sitting on the floor next to him, her head resting against his knee as Batcher lays across her lap. Echo pops over just to stir shit up but ends up reading Omega a bed time story and tucking her in to bed. Then he goes downstairs and gets shit faced with the boys. Cross is up late spilling the tea about their neighbours, all things he heard while wandering the market through the day. You just know Wrecker loves a midnight walk in the moonlight, stopping to chat with anyone still up at such a late hour. He's for sure that guy who just inexplicably knows everyone and their nan. Then he comes back and sits around with his family, finally letting it sink in that the war is over and he doesn't have to fight anymore, they're safe.

Just the bad batch having all the peace, quiet and love they fought so hard for. And Tech is looking down on them with a face-splitting grin, knowing that they're living the life he wanted so badly for them all.

My siblings and I are so quiet when my mum's home.

Then my mum goes out for like 20 minutes to pick up stuff from the shops and we become the Crazy Fandom Siblings.

There's my sister, who was fake wailing dramatically a few minutes ago because something happened in Twin Crowns that she didn't like, now she's singing the same three lines from a Monster High song over and over again.

There's my brother, playing Minecraft as per usual, talking to the imaginary ghost in the walls (his name is Steve and he was secretly king of France until he was assassinated) about How To Train Your Dragon.

Then there's me. Who is quite literally answering everything my siblings say with something about Edwin Paine. And when I'm not answering them, I am actually screaming about Edwin Paine. Because I've had a really shitty day and I still haven't managed to start Episode 3. And I saw spoilers. And I'm very upset about it. So I am screaming about Edwin Paine.

Meanwhile my cat is somehow sleeping through all this.

Ive been thinking of a fun au concept where, true to his last words before he leaves the house, Beetlejuice really doesn't come around the Maitland-Deetz house again and goes other places. Sometimes he does guides without really wanting to, just wandering around and doing the stuff he used to do before hanging around the house.

Lydia expects him to visit, she really does, but the years go by and she kind of has to give up on that idea. Then when she's an adult, she goes and visits new york again for a photography assignment from her job. Obviously she never stopped seeing ghosts, so she does end up seeing one with a guide in an alleyway she was passing by, and she would know that voice and his clothes anywhere so she stops.

The dead guy is the one who sees her first, and when Beej looks he goes and complains at the guy that hes done a great job, now he's traumatized some fresh faced semi adult with his body, clearly not recognizing her and probably entirely unaware how many years its been. He tosses the guy through the door and goes to leave but Lydia grabs his arm before he can pass her and thats when he knows who she is.

Obviously he freaks out about it and gets away, hiding from her while she tries to track him down. Shes absolutely upset that the one promise he kept was that one, and clearly they both missed their best friend, even if Beej himself is having a crisis about how long it's actually been and the fact he lost track of time that much.

I guess this would turn into a sort of ghost buster situation, except shes tracking him down to have a proper conversation and see her friend again, instead of trying to do any actual ghost busting. She's still taking pictures with her camera while doing this, no use going to all these cool creepy places without having pictures of all of them.
