The sun blazed down on Auradon Prep’s pristine campus as you walked to class, minding your own business. The school was picture-perfect, like everything in Auradon, except for one thing that ruined it all: Chad Charming. The most arrogant prince in all of Auradon, Chad was practically allergic to humility. He strutted around the school, tossing his golden hair like he owned the place. But what annoyed you more than anything else was the fact that he always seemed to be around you, trying to catch your attention with his over-the-top antics. And today, he was at it again. “Hey, Y/N!" Chad called out, swaggering toward you as you tried to head into your classroom. "Looking good today. You’re so lucky you get to see me twice in one day”. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes, clutching your books tighter to your chest. "Wow, Chad. You sure know how to flatter a girl” you deadpanned, quickening your pace. But Chad was persistent. He jogged up beside you, wearing that annoyingly charming grin of his. "What can I say? I just try to brighten your day” He winked.

You stopped short, rounding on him. "And what makes you think that my day needs brightening? Maybe it was going just fine until you decided to show up”. Chad blinked, momentarily stunned by your bluntness, but he quickly recovered with a casual laugh. "C’mon, Y/N. You love my attention. Why else would you be so snappy with me?" Your blood boiled at his confidence. Was he serious? Did he think you were flirting with him every time you called him out? “Chad, I cannot stand you” you said, narrowing your eyes. "You’re arrogant, you’re selfish, and the world doesn’t revolve around you. Stop acting like I’m lucky to be near you because, trust me, I’m not”.

For the first time, something in Chad’s expression wavered. You caught it, a flicker of something in his eyes, but he covered it up quickly with a forced smirk. "You’re feisty. I like that”. You huffed, storming into the classroom without another word, leaving him behind. Chad stood outside the door for a moment, his fake smile slipping into a frown as soon as you were out of sight. He leaned against the wall, rubbing his hand over the back of his neck. It wasn’t supposed to go like this. When Chad had first started acting cocky around you, it was all part of the plan. He figured you’d be into his confidence, his charm, the way everyone else was. It wasn’t that he was naturally that full of himself, he just turned it up a notch for effect. But you didn’t fall for it. In fact, the more he tried to impress you, the angrier you got. Maybe he had taken it too far. The way you’d looked at him today… it wasn’t just annoyance. It was like you genuinely disliked him. And that stung more than he cared to admit.

The following week, something was off. Chad wasn’t strutting around like usual. He didn’t throw himself in front of you with his usual one-liners, and for the first time, there was silence as you walked across the courtyard. You hadn’t realized how accustomed you’d become to his obnoxious greetings until they were gone. At first, you were relieved. Finally, a break from his ego. But then, after a few days, you started to notice that Chad wasn’t just toning down the arrogance, he was practically invisible. He didn’t sit with his usual group at lunch, didn’t make a scene in gym class, and didn’t bother you in the halls. You should’ve been thrilled. But instead, you felt… uneasy. Had you really been that harsh? You replayed your last conversation in your head, and guilt started to creep in. It didn’t take long before you caught sight of him again. He was sitting by himself under a tree in the quad, staring at the ground. His usual confidence was gone, replaced by something quieter. Sadder. Without really thinking it through, you approached him. "Chad”.

He looked up, surprised to see you, and for a second, there was something vulnerable in his eyes. "Oh. Hey, Y/N”. You shifted awkwardly on your feet. "You’re… not being annoying today”. He laughed, but it wasn’t his usual cocky laugh. It was softer. "Yeah. I, uh… guess I realized I was kind of a jerk”. You blinked at him, caught off guard by the admission. "Really? I mean… yeah, you were” you added, not wanting to let him off the hook too easily. Chad nodded, still staring at the ground. "I thought if I acted confident, you’d notice me. But it turns out that confidence just made me look like a complete idiot” He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I didn’t mean to make you hate me” Hate him? You didn’t hate him, not really. You hated how he acted, but this, this Chad in front of you, stripped of the bravado, he was someone different. “You don’t need to try so hard, Chad” you said after a moment. "You’re actually not that bad when you’re not pretending to be something you’re not”.

Chad looked up at you, and for the first time, there was no smirk, no ego, just genuine curiosity. "You think so?" You shrugged, feeling your face heat up slightly under his gaze. "I mean, yeah. If you acted like this more often, maybe you wouldn’t be so… insufferable”. For a second, there was silence, and you worried you’d said the wrong thing. But then Chad smiled—not his usual smirk, but a real, soft smile that made him look less like the arrogant prince and more like someone you could maybe, possibly like. "Thanks, Y/N. I… I’ll work on that”.

From that day on, Chad was different. It wasn’t an overnight transformation, but the cocky swagger was toned down. He didn’t bombard you with compliments every time he saw you, and he wasn’t constantly trying to impress you. Instead, he’d offer a small wave when he passed by, or he’d strike up casual conversations in class without trying to dominate the room. It was weird at first, seeing this side of him. But the more you interacted with the new Chad, the more you realized he wasn’t so bad. In fact, you kind of… liked him.

One afternoon, you found yourself sitting next to him in the library. You had a group project to work on, but for once, Chad wasn’t trying to take all the credit. He was focused, asking for your opinion, actually listening. “I didn’t know you were this smart” you teased, leaning back in your chair. Chad chuckled, glancing over at you. "I’ve got a few surprises up my sleeve”. You smiled, rolling your eyes but in a way that was almost fond. "Guess I’ve been underestimating you”. He met your gaze, and for a moment, something passed between you, something that made your heart skip a beat. "Guess we’ve both been underestimating each other”.

Weeks passed, and your relationship with Chad shifted from enemies to something else entirely. You no longer dreaded seeing him in the halls; in fact, you kind of looked forward to it. And the best part was that it wasn’t one-sided anymore. Chad wasn’t acting like a prince who expected the world to revolve around him, he was just being Chad, and you were starting to like that version of him a lot more than you ever thought possible. One evening, as you were walking to your dorm, Chad caught up to you. "Y/N, wait up”.

You turned, smiling as he jogged over. "What’s up?" “I’ve been meaning to ask you something” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking slightly nervous, something you never thought you’d see from him. “What is it?" Chad hesitated, then smiled softly. "Do you want to go out with me? Like, on a real date?" Your heart fluttered at his words, and for once, you didn’t feel the need to push him away. You nodded, smiling back. "Yeah, Chad. I’d like that”. And just like that, the boy you once couldn’t stand had somehow become the boy you couldn’t imagine your day without.

After some digging on the internet and some observation on the real life, you discovered that your oponent was the son of Cruella d Vil.

You approached him on his way to the school and he seemed really happy that someone shares his hobby and can teach him something.

Your fathers were Yasmine and Aladdin and Ben had the incredible idea of introducing you to the VK because your parents were enemies. He tried to impress you but your father taught you how to deal with tricksters and that led to him having the personal goal of getting you flustered.

You were a tansfered student from Arendell, emparented with Ana and Elsa, Audrey was your guide on Auradon. She presented you to Chad and well, you being a princess so beautifull with such an attitude (ice Kingdom=strong personality) made him get speechless and start to follow you like a puppy.

Your father is the chesire cat so you can somehow travel between worlds and barriers so when Ben saw you with Island clothes on the lake he was captivated. You are not used to talking to people so you escaped with a smile. A couple of days later you came again and he was waiting for you with a basket full of food and invited you to talk.

You were Evie's sister, the black ship of your family because you were always really nice and good and couldn't hide it. So you were the first one to apologize to him about the team's behaviour and you always greeted him on the halls. That make him took the courage to ask you on a date.

His father knocked him out of the house for the night and he was wandering around the Island, you saw him and thru him a piece of bread. He was really hungry so he took it and then went to sit next to you. You didn't know why he did that but he was pretty funny and a little dumb so you didn't considered him a threat and let him sit.

You are Scar's daughter (hibrid or witch human-lion) and you were on Lady Tremain's hairdress store, this was now your territory. Harry entered the place to recolect the money of the month and when you confronted him about the new situation and took the money away from him, he proposed to himself to take on your nerves everytime he could.

In the alternate timeline Chloe and Chad actually have a close relationship so she loves playing with her brother and is having the time of her life 🤍 Audrey’s happy to hold Red while she crashes from being in the sun too long lol. You know Auds mom’ed this entire trip and packed the best lunch for them later.

imagine little chloe bursting into her parents' bedroom declaring that she'll always be red's knight in shining armour, because every princess, especially a crown princess, needs a knight to protect her and ella and christopher just KNOWING that chloe is gonna stay by red's side forever and ever

so they start planning the wedding with bridget, thrilled to have the opportunity to bring their families even closer together. they're gonna be in laws! a family, just like they've always dreamed.

imagine little red telling her mum that chloe has a really pretty smile and really pretty eyes, and it makes her happy to see chloe happy, and that chloe is the bestest friend in the whole wide world and bridget has to stop herself from squealing and pinching red's adorably flushed cheeks, because her daughter was so in love already, even if it was just puppy love. that doesn't stop her from screaming gleefully into her pillow later that night tho

imagine them growing up together, attached at the hip, never straying from the other's side. imagine them going to auradon together, everyone already knowing that red and chloe, chloe and red, are a package deal. you can't get one without the other, a known fact since the duo were old enough to travel through the rabbit hole on their own

imagine chad walking in on them cuddling, watching a movie and cooing at them, snapping pictures on his phone before they notice him, yelling at him to leave them alone. alright, alright, I'll leave you lovebirds alone and red flushes in mortification and shut the fuck up chad, we're completely platonic and you know this because little miss goody-goody would definitely be rougher around the edges, growing up with red, and she'd definitely cuss up a storm at chad, but she loves him, she swears, just maybe not as much as she loves red

imagine them going through all the motions of a romantic relationship, cuddles, cheek kisses, hand holding, cute dates and all that, but insisting that it's just platonic, and that's how they've always been because they're best friends and their parents are so very done with them, just praying for them to get together, and chad has even started a betting pool for when they'll realise they love each other. he thinks it'll take them until at least their second year at auradon prep - at least, it'll take chloe that long

imagine red finally realising her feelings and ranting at the council of parents because holy shit aunt ella, your daughter is so dense?? and christopher can't help but cringe because he knows exactly who chloe got that trait from and he's like I'm sorry but while we charmings are quite, charming, we're also quite oblivious, especially to matters of the heart and bridget can't stop laughing because darling, you may need to hit her with glass shoes for her to figure it out, which makes ella blush because that's exactly what she had to do that night at castlecoming
