Since insimenator is still down, I decided to upload what I had and managed to find from my bookmarks + wayback, here.

Contains mods from: Squinge, Aaroneous, BeosBoxBoy, BlooM, Chaavik, Christianlov (it was a re-upload), dangonz, Dizzymental, DLMulsow, downunder2006, jmtmom, marvine, mina_harker78, monique, mstybl95, sabi320, SIMale, simenroute, Simsbaby, Simscorner, TheNinthWave* and Ulario.

*Regarding TNW / TheNinthWave, I'm not sure if these files are available on their website? I would assume so, but I didn't feel like searching for them so I included them just in case. Also MUCH love to Squinge for including a description of what the mod does in (most of) their downloads. Nearly all downloads included here has a wayback link to the original post if I felt it necessary.

Note #1: it's possible some of the cc/mods I archived could be available on other places (if they had accounts elsewhere for example) but again, I didn't feel like double-checking that everytime, so I included the ones I had/wayback had archived (it's also never a bad idea to have more than one download link). I also included the two mods previously re-uploaded to packrat from squinge.

Note #2: Squinge's "Pregnancy Wear Any Outfit" mod had not been archived, and I didn't have Squinge's original mod anymore since I use Midge's fixed version! Which is identical (and better, since they fixed a bug) so I don't see any point in trying to find Squinge's original :-) Midge's fixed version is not included in this archive though, grab it here.

Note #3: I did not archive nobody7382 / dickhurt /df's mods, since they are available on MTS. Same with Menaceman44's stuff.

Note #4: some mods I got from squinge via this archived list, may or may not be compatible with M&G/UC, I'm not sure.

You can choose between downloading everything in one file, or separate:

4t2 Artist Studio Kit

A conversion of everything from the Artist Studio kit.

Key features:

23 objects;

20 walls (10 but cut in half to preserve pattern, will appear sorted next to each other in build mode);

Smoothed out meshes, no shine (except when necessary), quarter tile placeable;

All surfaces have slots;

Two functional bookcases, one sink;

All shadows are repositoried to Lord Crumps' shadow file (it's included but as always, you don't need multiple copies of it in your downloads folder, so delete if you have it already);

The easel has two versions - normal one and faster painting as in Paint Faster mod by Chaavik. Be sure to keep only one!

Drafting tablet was cloned from a similar object by @jacky93sims - it's a "novel" writing tablet but edited by Jacky to look as if sims were drawing on it, mine functions in the same way. Some clipping is present;

The woodworking table was cloned from @deedee-sims' functional woodworking table so works in the same way and uses almost the same objects. I however made some changes to it: edited all meshes, removed shine, added shadows (though they tend to appear at their own will), replaced some textures and made recolors to objects that were updated by Maxis, made everything quarter tile placeable and made some other more or less tiny quality of life changes. Craftable vanilla Sims 2 objects (chair, violin, guitar and hot tub) were replaced with a 4t2 chair, a sofa, a cabinet and a bookshelf. This crafting station is now also translated into Russian.

Objects for woodworking station, almost the same as in DeeDee's station (converted by DeeDee, HugeLunatic, HafiseAzale and me):

Today I bring you a creation I made for @kashmiresims / @ch4rmsing, whom you can also find streaming on twitch under the name Rachums. She wanted a way for her Sims to online date, and asked if I could move the Crystal Ball functionality by twojeffs to the computer. And it turns out, I could indeed! So today what I have on offer for you is an add-on mod for the computer that adds the Find a mate crystal ball functionality to the computer, meaning your Sims can hop on any time, find Sims they have great chemistry with, and thanks to the sims magic, have that Sim appear next to their computer ready to be greeted and romanced! For extra realism, changing the settings on what type of Sims you want to see as options has to be done by your Sim, so it's like they are setting up their profile for what they want, before they browse. The interactions are not set to be autonomous.

I have also made an updated version of my edited Monique computer (more info on what I edited previously can be found here), with this interaction added (you still need the mod as well). Some of you might be using Midge's more computer options which among other things added the gypsy matchmaking interaction to the computer, I also have a version that is compatible with that mod. If you use the Midge mod, grab the compatible version instead of the standalone. Yay flexibility and options!

Download Monique's computer with the option added (you must download one of the files above as well, to get the functionality. Monique computer is only edited to add it to the menu, the mod itself is still needed)

The mod will not impact custom computers, if they have an internal menu. If the menu does not have custom options it needs to keep, you can probably make it compatible by going in and removing the TTAs/TTAB, and making sure the interaction table ID in OBJD is set to 81.

Some info: The "existing relationships" and "gender preference" settings are a little misleading. They apply to the target Sim, not your own Sim. So turning on or off gender preference, controls what sort of sexuality the target Sim has. Existing relationship refers to Sims who are married or the like, so whether or not you want to see only single Sims as options, or if Sims in prior relationships show as well.

Conflicts: Conflicts with Midge's "More Computer Options" mod, if you use that, please download the compatible version and make sure this mod loads after Midge's mod. Also conflicts with inteen package B, if you want to use this please make it load after inteen. I do not want to make a compatible version as I don't know exactly what inteen changed, and there's already multiple versions which gets confusing for you guys to figure out which to get. Not worth it :) The only thing you lose from inteen is whatever changes it made to computer menus. Load order will not help if there is a conflict not listed here, my mod needs every part to work so it either needs to be resolved, or you need to pick which one you want, like with inteen. Conflicts with the original release of Nopke's novel writing progress mod, if you have this conflict please revisit Nopke's original post to grab the updated version of the mod that does not conflict with mine, and is less conflict prone in general :) Thank you Nopke for resolving conflict!

Hey, I noticed a while ago with your 'Children can Throw Birthday Parties' mod that you linked Midge's tutorial to edit Simler90s mod. I followed the tutorial and I was able to get Formal party and Pool party to work but in the package file there was no General Party - TEST’, ‘Birthday Party - TEST’, ‘Sports Party - TEST’, ‘Apartment Party. So I wasn't able to edit them. There was a 'Generic party' option but nothing on that had 'Age - Am I a Child?’'. Do you happen to know a fix?

Hi, I'm a bit confused, perhaps there has been some confusion. My 'Children can Throw Parties' mod does not conflict with other mods, so you can use my mod for the maxis parties to be throwable by children, as well as editing Simler90's New Parties to be throwable by children too, so you still have both mods. There is no General Party - TEST’, ‘Birthday Party - TEST’, ‘Sports Party - TEST’, ‘Apartment Party' in Simler90's files because that mod is for adding new parties so doesn't include code for the maxis ones. Here's what my Children can Throw Parties mod description contains:

"Thank you to MidgeTheTree for providing me with these simple instructions on how to make this mod. Use these instructions if you want to make any of Simler90′s New Parties throwable by children too." and

"This mod is compatible with Simler90′s New Parties and Midge’s Community Lot Parties (though these 2 mods aren’t compatible with each other, see how to integrate Community Lot Parties into New Parties here). It is not compatible or needed with Chaavik’s Community Lot Parties as this feature is also included in that mod."

I love Chaavik's version of Monique's Hacked Computer but the disabled autonomy makes my game into an unrealistic hellscape where the sims only use their computer for banking and whatever I decide to make my sims do. Is there any way to make playing, blogging, etc. autonomous again?

Hello! :) I was hoping that you could provide assistance in locating two mods that could prevent Sims from autonomously performing actions with mirrors and from painting/drawing? Thank you + a WCIF about a mod that prevents clapping and cheering

Hi! Twoftmama has a No Autonomous Painting mod on her site. There are two No Autonomous ‘Gussy Up’ and ‘Check Self Out’ mods by Chaavik too.

If something isn’t working properly, you can check out this great tutorial on MTS on how to do ITUN edits (which control autonomous actions). I think you should be able to find all the necessary resources by searching for “mirror” within the GameplayData.package.

If you mean the clapping and cheering that happens when sims aren’t directed to do anything, those are idle animations and I don’t know how to get rid of them. They’d probably need to be replaced? I found a similar mod here so you can poke around your resources (since this one seems fairly old) and see if modifying it yields the desired result.

Price-editing friendly version of Monique's computer

I don't know about any of you, but I love changing the costs of things in my game to make money have more of an impact on the game. I enjoy my Sims having a reason to work and run businesses, so I have a lot of mods and edits that alter the prices of things. Earlier this summer I realized Monique's computer was not impacted by a lot of global changes, and I set out to change the costs for my own use. I thought perhaps more people would enjoy being able to easily change costs, and in the process of doing all the different options I had more ideas and learned new skills that made it possible to add a few other details. And that is what I have on offer for you today :)

Features

Most shop and delivery options rewritten to pull pricing from BCON 1002

Set to original pricing currently, intended to be easy to edit, not to push my preferences on you

Broken jewelry shop has been fixed, it was not set up right which is why it only charged 1 simoleon for jewelry. Set to 49 now like the jewelry stand, but can be changed through BCON 1002

Menu made more dynamic, displaying price tags based on BCON 1002 settings, and in some cases picking up on and displaying default replacements and correct language string for non-english installations (applies to electronic gadgets, produce, fish, robots, vacation maps)

Monique’s Computer Loan Edits/Fixes

Hey everyone! Today I have something a little different!

I’ve been playing in my own personal hood and my sims are now at a point when they need to move out, and I have been trying to figure out what the best way to do loans is in my game. I loved the functionality of Monique’s Hacked Computer loans, but it had a few problems - First, the interest was, in my opinion, way too high. Second, there was that annoying issue that interest would be gained for inactive sims if they were on a community lot around the time interest would be charged. These were two big problems for me. I considered using the loan jar, but that involves a lot of attention and management, and I could just see myself forgetting about making payments and it essentially becoming a cheaty thing.

So, I made some edits to Monique’s Hacked Computer’s Loan system. Namely the interest percentages and I fixed the stupid occurrence where inactive sims would be charged interest if they were on a community lot. I do not take any credit in this achievement, as I followed a tutorial by PhantomKnight at MTS here. I simply did this and made a few flavors so others didn’t have to go through the hassle. 

The mod comes in 3 flavors:

(They all include the no interest on community lots fix).

The interest for the loans also impacts the interest for bank accounts. So bank accounts your sims have deposited money into will gain interest at the same rate as the flavor you choose. Example: if you choose 3% loan interest, your bank account interest will also be at 3%. This is possible to change, and if there’s enough demand I may look into it.

- No Interest Percent Change. Just includes the Community Lot Fix

- Interest Changed to 3% + Community Lot Fix

- Interest Changed to 1%  + Community Lot Fix

Interest is charged every 48 sim hours at 7am I believe.

Unzip the folder. Select your flavor. You can Only have ONE in your game and place it in your mods folder.

This download includes Monique’s expensive, cheap, and laptop variants. If you already have these in your game, delete them and place mine in. 

IMPORTANT: The edit I made is technically just changes to the “MQ_Computer_Global_Bank_Controller.package” of the mod. If you have multiple folders for different Monique computers, just copy this file from the selected flavor you chose into each of your separate computer folders. The way the computers are packaged in the original insimenator post is in 3 separate folders, all containing their own “MQ_Computer_Global_Bank_Controller.package” file so if you have yours organized like this, you’ll have to extract the bank controller package file from my edit into each of your Monique computer folders. If you only have the three from the insimenator post, I’d recommend just deleting them from your game and placing my folder in, as it contains all three. Hopefully this makes sense!

I am not 100% sure this works with custom versions of the hacked computer, it should as long as you follow the important notice above.

DISCLAIMER: I do not take any credit for Monique’s Hacked Computer OR Chaavik’s edit on Insimenator in which I used for this mod. I would reach out to them for permission to upload but Monique disappeared alost ten years ago and Chaavik has not been active for a few years either to my knowledge. If either of you see this somehow and are not okay with me sharing, please send me a message. My goal is not to steal other’s work, simply to make other’s lives easier by not having to edit the mod.

Testing out a trait mod for Rebellious Sims; School will be next. I am thinking of also adding in Absent-Minded. It took some editing of the “CT - Dress for Work” function so that the Rebellious sim wouldn’t change into their clothes before the interaction started. That means that this mod will be incompatible with Squinge/Chaavik’s casual dress for work mod.  

For testing purposes I’ve set the mod up so that Rebellious sims will constantly reject going to work. I intend to turn it down a bit, to about 65% so that you can argue back with your Sim to go to work. 😂

Hey! A while ago I asked about compatibility between Simler90's New Parties and your Community Lot Parties and you kindly told me how to add the functionality of Community Lot Parties into New Parties. I was just looking for a mod that makes it so that children can throw parties, and saw that this feature was in an old version of Community Lot Parties by Chaavik. Would you mind giving me instructions on how to add this feature to New Parties too? Thanks so much in advance.

Hi! Edit every test BHAV for a party you want kids to be able to throw (’General Party - TEST’, ‘Birthday Party - TEST’, ‘Sports Party - TEST’, ‘Apartment Party - TEST’ all seem like valid candidates) so that the true target of the line ‘Age - Am I a Child?’ is the same as its false target.

TS2 Mod - Teen & Gender Preference Adoption Hack

This mod adds two options to adopt teens from the adoption pool that already exists. It also allows you to customize your own new child by choosing the gender, skintone and age of your new child. The following ages are toddlers, children or teens. You can also create babies, but you won't get the options to choose the gender and skintone for these little babies.
