I am literally SHAKING IN MY BOOTS after this week's chapter of Undead Unluck...!! 😱 I'm gonna do things a little differently this time, instead of talking about my favorite parts, I'm just gonna talk about my overall thoughts on the chapter...!! So, here I go!! 👍

[UNDEAD UNLUCK CH. 223 SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT ON, SO BE CAREFUL!]

I gotta be honest, the pace of Undead Unluck has never really bothered me that much, in fact I personally felt that the series has been paced pretty well as I read through it for the first time...!! 😌 But these last two chapters, man... The pace has gone from 0 to 10,000 in just TWO WEEKS!! 😵 I mean, story wise it does make sense for the Master Rules to do what they did, in fact I find it very refreshing that the villains are doing what ever they can to stop the heroes from succeeding...! But, the actual reason as to why we're speeding towards the final fight already could be what I and many other fans fear; Undead Unluck is possibly getting axed / cancelled... 😓

Now we don't know if that's the case, but since Undead Unluck has constantly been in the back of Shonen Jump magazine these past few chapters/weeks (which usually means that a manga isn't doing well in said magazine), it's easy to understand why we fans are feeling quite worried right now for Undead Unluck... 😔 But, I still have hope that this is not the end for this story and these characters we love so much...! My hope is that Undead Unluck at minimum will run until January and at maximum for whole another year, or even somewhere inbetween my proposed end dates would be fine with me as well...!! 😊 But, if the series ends in a month or so, I'll be so upset... 😓 So let's see how this all plays, ya buncha lugs!! 👌😎

Anyway, those were all my thoughts and feelings after reading this chapter...!! 😁 I am really hoping for the best for Undead Unluck and that Tozuka can deliver a truly satisfying conclusion that it deserves, no matter much time is left!! 😊

For a brief moment he turned off his technique to allow himself to be reached (and in a sense this was him reaching back).

He's so stupid I swear... I have never cared for Gojo, seriously, but the end to his arc has really made him endearing to me because these details re-contextualized him and the irony of his tragedy and sense of isolation.

loyal and hardworking but a little bit insecure assistant type characters like ijichi make me rly soft. to some extent, my irl self can relate to them~ (praying he doesn't die but kenjaku is still a threat and he can pull a dick move on them anytime)

Even though I read more than usual, I surprisingly don't have much to say cuz it's mainly fight scenes rn lol

Now that they thought back, when Jun Wu had shot out that trail of fire, Qi Rong had protected Guzi, which was why this child didn't burn to death.

I find it interesting how Hua Cheng vaguely respects like one dude and its Goushi, but like they are both fiercely protective and ACC caring for Xie lian unlike some ppl (cough Jun wu cough cough). I think in some weird way, they would get along really well lol

Yoooooo what is the deal with Mu Qing and Feng Xin??? Ok Feng Xin I get cuz he was looking for Jian Lan but Mu Qing?? And now he's acting weird??? I'm so suspicious of him rn
