I WANT TO INTRODUCE TWO OF MY CHARACTERS. I'll tell you more about them as the blog goes on but, like, here's their introductary post (with their ref sheet)

This is Evette (she/her), or Eventide, Bringer of Chaos. She's an Eldritch God confined in a human body and burdened with morals. She is chronically silly and understands little of human culture, which sucks because she's living in NYC of all places.

Then there's Steph (She/her), the most normal woman of all time. She's tired. She has a tie collection. Her favorite drink is black coffee. She works a 9-5 office job and lives in a shitty apartment. Evette and her live together due to a misunderstanding that she's been too polite to correct.

Since im in a dino mood:

today on old art i never posted here's some conepts I made like a year or two ago

so like the 2 most fun things to draw are dinosaurs and anime girls so I had a galaxy brain moment and decided to design some dinosaur magical girls (plus evil T-rex villian lady)

so like hear me out so the girls would do magical girl transformations to fight evil dino girls and then it would be like power rangers where after they are defeated once they come back in their dinosaur form and then the girls have a second magical girl transformation where they would turn into their dinosaur forms (and like power rangers there's no reason they don't do this from the start other than just because)

I didn't actually do anything with this concept but like it is a banger concept still

bonus: concept art and more rambling

each girl was designed with a color in mind and i tried to get a variety of dinos (originally the Yi Qi girl was a microraptor hence the 4 wings in her hair but it felt to similar to velociraptor so i went for a different flying dino) velociraptor girl would be protag kun. The last 4 would be like characters who join the group later with the the pachycephalosaurs girl being an anti hero and the Gallimimus and Yutyrannus girl straight up starting as a villians

i wrote like 2 scenes in my head one where Yutyrannus girl betrays and fights evil T rex lady and its a cool tyrannosaur vs tyrannosaur fight and one where velociraptor girl and gallimimus girl talk about something and i ship them for it (so like gallimimus girl is self concious that gallimimus isnt a traditionally like cool dino but raptor girl cheers her up and then gallimimus girl joins the good guys)

also side note that Yutyrannus girl might be one of my best character designs ever lol (I also gave her the most clever name for an OC I've done so like her name would be Yukiko because it starts with a "yu" like Yutyrannus but also yuki = snow and Yutyrannus is accociated with snow)

anyway yeah i never did anything with this concept depite how galaxy brain it is lmfao

dinovember day 17: triceratops 🥞

so i may not be as much into fnaf now as i used to when i was younger but ive always been baffled that nobody has made a dinosaur themed fnaf fan game?? i may just be autistic for these sillies but i love the concept of it so much :D it makes sense for me because dinosaurs are popular with kids and popular in horror and irl there are a lot of dinosaur animatronics. so my concept here is that somewhere in utah fazbear entertainment collaborated with a fictional museum to make an educational dinosaur themed restaurant! also every dino robot is a species that can be found in utah! So first we have Utahraptor. It was made to show off more birdlike theories and was given a voicebox that can record voices to repeat them back like those toys that do it but due to being haunted can mimic voices. they slowly stalk the player and intentionally mess with them, toying with their prey. (this was made before the mimic lmao)

Next is Camarasaurus! this animatronic is HUGE and in a kid's cove type area all to itself. because its so big the engineers only made its neck, head and tail robotic while its body is a plastic frame. At night it detaches its neck/head from its body and slithers through the vents. also here's a plushie of little dude!

Next is Diabloceratops. this one is the most haunted and possibly possessed by a demon. its body moves in unnatural ways and it frequently will move with its limbs on backwards or upside down. it also has some kind of strange parasite type thing in it similar to ennard spaghetti. this design is probably my favorite and the one that freaks me out the most, inspired by the not-deer cryptid and demonic possession.

And lastly the only withered animatronic, Akainacephalus ! :D they are inspired by slinky toys and poltergeists. this guy has a fnaf 2 puppet type role in the cast and sits right outside the office and doesn't move much unless its activated. i dont have much lore for them yet but i still love little dude! I also plan to add Ceratosaurus, Tenontosaurus, and Stegosaurus!

There is also Archie! He is an Archaeopteryx and the only member of the cast who is not found in Utah and is the education mascot of the museum :D he has an almost helpy like role and only shows up on posters, art, screens and as a plushie. :D

I dont know if this game will ever come out but i wanted to share my concept somewhere on the internet :D

Height chart for my recent creature art. All three of these belong in the same universe and designing them with each other in mind is just a bit of a toe-dip into world building.

A godly protector with a crown of thorns, adorning the skulls of slain wretches upon his head as trophies. All who disrespect or undermine the gods shudder at the mere utterance of his name. But a sole survivor continues even as his family's remnants lay impaled upon the God's horns– one who searches the foresaken lands tirelessly for the promise of revenge.

(Oh, and there's a normal triceratops in the corner).

Evette was born in deep-space from the mother universe herself and crashlanded on earth tens of thousands of years ago with one single goal: turning the world into a warped chaos-scape. For years she terrorized humanity, until one of their greatest mages was sent to stop her. After trying to kill her and realizing she was immortal, the great mage retreated and created an item of amazing power. A pair of magical shackles that would force her into human form, inflicting her with a soul, emotion, and morals as well as greatly limit her power. As an extra safety precaution, she was locked deep underground where she would stay for what felt like an eternity.

Evette often struggled throughout this time, feeling intensely alone and as if she had been punished for actions she no longer had any desire to commit.

She was finally freed when construction on the basement of a luxury hotel in NYC dug into her prison, allowing her to escape.
