Cue later on Sun Wukong decides to tease her by transforming into the Stone Monkey and play a game of cat and mouse through the Mount Huaguo forest.

And after he caught her, he is gonna throw her on his shoulder, walk away somewhere private and then she's dinner.

His travel companion asked him if it really was necessary to kill every single enemy they encounter, so he decided to push the yaoguai back into the ground

reached chapter 4 in my NG+ and I totally forgot that Zhu Bajie and the Destined One where hiding in a treasure chest at the beginning.

Which means that travel companion would have squeezed into a chest with the Destined One too. Zhu Bajie was nice enough to give the kiddos the space (or lack thereof) and hid himself in a smaller second chest

started out with the Destined One grabbing his Travel Companion and throwing her over his shoulder like a sack of potato before she could get hit.

Deciding that enough is enough she summons her rapier and joins the battle.

I also learned that those wooden things are coffins, not chests. I imagine at some point the Destined One and his Travel Companion had to squeeze into a coffin to get across a big body of water or whatever. Tight fit but at least take got some power naps in.

in my head this is after the Destined One and my OC have been traveling for a while and now and established a good form of communication too despite the Destined One being silent. He noticed that she never allows her herself to cry in front of him, figured it might be because she didn't want people to see her cry. And then something something happened where she reached her limit and broke down. Seeing her cry was simultaneouslythe most beautiful and heartbreaking thing he has seen.

I refuse to believe that Sun Wukong is a great drinker. that monkey is a goddman lightweigt. He refuses to admit that, but after three rounds he is completely wasted.

Probably the annoying clingy drunk kinda monkey too ugh. Oz doesn't get drunk, so she's usually on the receiving end of any drunk monkey shenanigans.

One time Sun Wukong insisted that he can drink her under the table. he didn't, his ego is bruised so he showed up one night already tipsy at her door with a jar of wine, demanding rematch
