Mark Davis Doesn't Own The Raiders In A Different Timeline
An interesting tidbit dropped from former Raiders CEO Amy Trask this week: it turns out Mark Davis almost doesn't own the team if not for her.
Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis is a polarizing figure, and that’s putting it lightly. Still, it turns out there’s a timeline of events where he doesn’t end up owning the Silver and Black following his father’s passing. The Raiders, both on and off the field, have seen some turbulent times under Mark. The move from Oakland to Las Vegas is still a sour chapter in team history, at least for some…

Tumblr media
Cumulus Media has announced a new deal with Emmy- and Marconi-nominated host Rich Eisen for the Cumulus Podcast Network to distribute, market, and monetize all existing and forthcoming podcasts with the newly formed Rich Eisen Podcast Network. Eisen’s latest production, What The Football with Suzy Shuster and Amy Trask, drops its first episode, Tuesday, September 12th on the Cumulus Podcast Network. What the Football with Suzy Shuster and Amy Trask is a unique blend of witty banter, offbeat conversations, and expert sports commentary, hosted by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Suzy Shuster alongside the first female CEO in the NFL, the “Princess of Darkness” herself, Amy Trask.  This lively podcast gives listeners an exclusive look into the world of NFL football.  From the sidelines to the locker rooms, and all the way up to the front office, nothing is off limits as Shuster and Trask interview the biggest names and personalities in football, sports, and entertainment while sharing their personal insights from the weekend's gridiron action.  What The Football with Suzy Shuster and Amy Trask drops weekly on Tuesdays throughout the NFL Season. Most recently, Eisen launchedOverreaction Monday on September 4th to make for a big week in football from the growing Rich Eisen Podcast Network. Overreaction Monday expands the most popular segment of his flagship podcast, The Rich Eisen Show, into its own weekly podcast, with Eisen and co-host Chris Brockman reflecting on the biggest fan- and hysterical media-driven overreactions from the previous weekend’s professional and college football games. Eisen also anchors his flagship podcast, The Rich Eisen Show, which blends sports, pop culture, humor, and interviews, discussing topical issues not commonly addressed by sportscasters.  To support his growing podcast network, Eisen has built an expanded studio and team in El Segundo, California, with state-of-the-art recording equipment and set design. “Since joining the Cumulus family, they have shown unwavering support for my vision in growing my brand,” said Eisen. “As I have expanded my suite of services, they were the only ones I wanted to do business with, and I couldn’t think of a better place for my voice and productions to be heard over the coming years.” In addition to his podcast network, Eisen hosts the pregame and halftime shows for Westwood One’s syndicated Monday Night Football coverage and anchors “The Rich Eisen Show,” also syndicated by Westwood One for national radio. Rich Eisen has interviewed top-tier guests like NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes; reported breaking news live such as when Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest; and addressed painful issues like the Uvalde shooting and Kyrie Irving’s antisemitic behavior, explaining why it was hurtful and damaging given the power athletes hold in popular culture.  Rich Eisen is also the host of the Pregame and Halftime Shows for Westwood One’s broadcasts of Monday Night Football. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Eisen earned a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1994. Rich was a mainstay on ESPN’s SportsCenter from 1996-2003 before becoming the first on-air talent added at the NFL Network in June 2003, five months before the network’s launch in November 2003. As a four-time Emmy nominee for “Outstanding Studio Host,” Eisen can also be seen Sunday mornings throughout the NFL season hosting the network’s Emmy-nominated NFL GameDay Morning. Philanthropically, Eisen created the annual “Run Rich Run” 40-yard dash as a charitable effort to benefit St. Jude’s and has used his radio platform to activate his audience to donate, raising more than $5 million over the past eight years.  Rich resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Suzy Shuster. Together they have three children and two rescue dogs.

“A guy named Trask.” Logan muttered, pulling out a cigar, then putting it away since he’s in Scott’s house. “We’ve been after him for years, but he’s the CEO of Trask Industries and he has an NSA agent named Gyrich in his pocket.”
“Helps though that we have two shape shifters on the team. And a kid that can walk through walls.”
On a rainy afternoon, Logan leaned against Scott’s door a pounded on it loudly. He didn’t have the patience for any quieter, he was still healing from various burns, shots, and cuts. All that was left of his left arm was his Adamantium skeleton.
@ask-wolverine
The deluge made it hard to hear the knocking since Scott was upstairs, but when he stopped what he was doing and walked out into the hallway did he hear the knocking.
He hurried downstairs and opened the door. “Logan? Holy shit, man! Get in here! Are you alright?” He all but dragged Logan inside from the rain. “What do you need?”

Okay, I’m new to this whole X-Men thing so if someone’s already thought of this, my bad, but hear me out
In X-Men Days of Future Past, Bolivar Trask is there and everything, right? And he’s a CEO or whatever and he works with the government on mutant stuff (btw I’m writing this while I watch the movie so if he ends up dying or whatever that’s suck but still, this is valid).
And I was thinking, Trask. Why does that sound so familiar? Then I realized, Trask is an anagram for Stark. As in Stark Industries, Tony Stark, and of course Howard Stark.
Days of Future Past takes place mostly in the 70s, where Trask is doing all the same kind of stuff for the government that Howard Stark was doing for the government in the 70s in the MCU.
So, in conclusion, Bolivar Trask is just the X-Men variation of Howard Stark and since the Multiverse is a thing now, that’s pretty cool. This had no real point, I just wanted to put it out there.

Amalgam Idea [New Mutants x Suicide Squad] Task Force-NM
Suicide Squad belongs to DC
New Mutants belongs to Marvel
Task Force New Mutants, also known as Mutants Squad, is a government aided project under the supervision of Amanda Trasker(Amanda Waller + Bolivar Trask); CEO of the private enterprise supporting the government known as Trasker Industry. The project’s goal is to ‘reform’ the unlawful mutants, as a compromise to the mutants to legalize them as ‘supervised citizens’. The Members of the teams include:
Double Hits(Deadshot + Domino): Vanessa Clawton, World’s ‘luckiest’ assassin, who has not only great marksmanship, but also ‘unnatural’ luck on her side. However, she must surrender to laws of the States, due to her family being hostaged by the CIA. Even though being a prisoner, she is allowed to live in the supervised safehouse instead of the real prison. It could be said her only large misfortune is that her family is not as lucky as her, and still being contained under the government’s order.
Hellfire(El Diablo + Cannonball): Samuel Santana, Mutant whose pyrokinesis is being enhanced by Devil’s Deal. He is rumored to make a deal with ‘Hashute’, the mysterious demonic being for stronger flame & explosive leap, as he wanted it to take revenge on the rival gang. He was caught by the Vatican's Secret Agent & kept in the Fortified Catholic Church that adjusted for the deep demonic-bonded souls.
Sharksbane (King Shark + Wolfsbane): Taniwha, or one of creatures with the name, was found in New Zealand as the supernatural being taking forms of either human, or anthropomorphic shark. He was weakened by the magical jade-hook believed to belong to Maui himself. He was kept somewhere in the Midwest of the US, to keep him away from the seas. In addition, the magical hook is also used as the emergency weapon there as well.
Tanha (Harley Quinn + Karma): Harley Mahncong ,Half Thai-American who worked as the therapist for the local mad Triad leader known as ‘Chou Wei Gong’/’New York Wukong’. However, she was convinced & became a member of Mr.Chou’s gang. She was rescued from an accident where Mr.Chou used her as the meat shield & distractor. Her real body is comatose, but her mind is able to possess the weak-minded people. She is recently sealed in the specific crystal that is bondedly controlled by Mrs.Trasker herself.
Doctor Mirage (Doctor Light + Cypher): Dr.Douglas Light, whose mutation abilities had been kept secret. He had two identities; scientist of computer development company, and supervillain who used his genius-level brain & mutation abilities of beaming a special ray into an input as an access to hack any electronic devices he connects. He had been imprisoned by a Superhero & being kept in the basement with an analog security system.
Bakuchiku(Katana + Boom-Boom): Tatsu Tabita, Japanese-born American who has the power of communicating with deceased people she saw being killed ‘until they leave for the realm beyond’. She also owned the mystical paired swords that only she can generate plasma coating on them. She used these swords to kill people & make their souls being her information givers in her crime missions. She is kept away from the dual swords & being locked in executional prison, to keep her busy.
Yggdrasil (Poison Ivy + Magik): Pamela Nikolaievna, Russian-American mutant who can link to any of other seven realms of Yggdrasil by the tree holes those are large enough(Except Asgard, where she needed to take another route after being in one of Seven Realms). She can take objects back from there as well, and she has learned the basics of Rune Magic. She is kept in the concrete prison, away from plants & unallowed to draw Runes.
These Sevens Criminals-Mutants voluntarily joined the deadly missions for less detention years. In addition, they had been trusted to be chosen by Professor Charles Flag (Charles Xavier + Rick Flag); the veteran-turned-professor, who is both ‘Fews of Certificated’ Mutant & Mutants Expert himself.

Women Leading the Way in the NFL
Throughout the United States, the home of American Football, there is a preconceived notion that football is a “men's” game. Women are rarely welcomed into the world of sports, but especially football, which is one of the only major professional sports leagues without a women’s counterpart. Over the past few decades and particularly within the last few years, women have been fighting back and standing their ground not only as just fans of the game, but as influential leaders in the industry as well. Whether that be at the corporate level representing the NFL, or on the field at a middle school Pop Warner game, girls of all ages are suiting up to change the world of football.
Here are five women who are changing the roles women play in the highest level of football, according to the NFL’s Influential women in football:
Beth Mowins: Most of the time when we’re watching a televised football game, the commentators we hear in the background are men. Beth Mowins became the first woman to call a nationally televised regular season NFL game on September 11, 2016 during a Broncos v Chargers game.
Sarah Thomas: In 2015, Sarah Thomas was hired full-time as the first female official in the NFL, and is also the first woman to be given an assignment on-field for the playoffs. Thomas worked her way up from officiating at youth games to high school and college games, and was eventually was brought up to officiate during the preseason as part of the league development program in 2013.
Kathryn Smith: The Buffalo Bills became the first team in NFL history to have a woman named to a full-time coaching position. Smith started at the bottom as a game-day intern for the New York Jets, working her way up to college scouting intern and player personnel assistant. In 2015 she became the Bills administrative assistant for head coach Rex Ryan, and was promoted a year later to quality control special teams coach for the Bills.
Katie Blackburn: The daughter of Bengals’ team owner Mike Brown, Blackburn became the first female chief contract negotiator in the NFL while working in the team's front office. She also holds positions on the workplace diversity committee, the CBA player benefit plans committee, and the Super Bowl advisory committee.
Amy Trask: The first female CEO of an NFL team was Amy Trask, who earned the title in 1997 for the Oakland Raiders and held it until 2013. Similar to Smith, she began her NFL career in lower positions and worked her way to the top. She was hired as an intern for the Raiders in college and was later hired as a member of the legal department in 1987. Even after leaving her CEO position, she maintains a reputation in the football world as an analyst for CBS Sports, is Chairman of the Board for a 3-on-3 basketball league, and is the author of a book reflecting on her time in the NFL.
The NFL has begun to recognize the impact women can have on the game and within the industry, and has started hosting a yearly forum for Women’s Careers in Football. Through this program, there were 26 opportunities given to women to work in professional football in the 2017-2018 season across 9 NFL clubs, 6 colleges and universities, and 3 Alliance of American Football teams. At the WCF forum, NFL Senior Director of Football Development Samantha Rapoport said about the program, “Women are vastly underrepresented in operations positions in sports. Our clubs understand the value of considering the entire talent pool during the hiring process. This program provides the opportunity for our teams to meet with driven and experienced women who have a strong desire to work in football and we’re proud of the progress we’ve seen in three years.”

Somewhere In A Secret Location. Three Men Are Talking Who's Name Are Trask, Stryker, And General Thunderbolt Ross.
Ross: "Gentleman! I want to be President Of The United States!, and I will pass a law that prohibits vigilantes, and those who've superpowered abilities will be forced to reveal who they're!." "If they don't they will be sent to jail!". "Also, omegas! including that foolish omega CEO Clark Kent will be given fewer rights, and won't be in a position of power at all!".
Hearing that Stryker nods seriously, while Trask just rolls his eyes. Trask: "Alright General give me the funding I need to create a DNA Bomb that will kill off all mutants, mutates, superhumans, and nonhumans. It's time we take back our planet from those abominations!."
Ross nods, and says coldly "no big deal Trask! I will get you the funds you need to create your bomb just make sure you don't get caught by that hacker Cyborg again!." Hearing that Trask grits his teeth, and doesn't say anything.
While Stryker talks getting Ross, and Trask's attention. "I got a project I'm working on. On a former alpha female mutant prisoner from a place called 'The pit'. "
"Her name is Bane, and her mutant power is the ability to release a fear toxin from her body." "which will cause those who inhale it to live their worse fears." Stryker gestures to Trask.
"Thanks to Trask giving me green crystals(Kryptonite) which weakened Superman through tests I created a super steroid called venom". He gestures to a glowing green liquid in a cup. "I will give it to Bane which will make her even stronger, and give her the edge to take Gotham, and break Batman!". Making Ross, and Trask smile in approval.
Damn that was crazy but good

There’s so much warmth within her chest when he says that she deserves to act on her feelings, Trask’s words of her worthlessness echoed in her mind but Tyler had the power to remove that from her mind. Her cheeks blushed and finished her ice cream before Tyler started to retell his teenage years- to which Charlotte is extremely curious.
She couldn’t help but smile brightly at him, it’s cute to know that he was a studious student. Sure there’s a pang within her heart that she couldn’t experience that and she could have only imagined going to school with Tyler, sharing their first kiss at an awkward school dance. The mention of his mother caused Charlotte to slip her hand within his in a comforting way.
Her eyebrows lifted up when he mentioned that he started up a business “Oh you’re so young to be the ceo of a business. You’ve worked so hard..” now the guilt settled within her stomach, she’s keeping him here, who knows what’s going on in his universe. Now he was asking her if she wanted him to stay here in her work or if she’s willing enough to go with him. However the kiss is enough to help her decide on what she wanted and right before she could answer, he spilled those three special words.
A gasp leaves her lips and she stares at him for a moment but before he had second thoughts, Charlotte reached forward to take his hands within hers “I’ve never thought that someone would ever love me again.” She starts “The only love I’ve ever received was from my grandmother and that was years ago-“ she licked her lips and looked down only to bring his hands against her cheeks “Trask, my parents, they made me feel, believe that I wasn’t worthy of that- I wasn’t worthy because I was different, because I’m a mutant and yet here you are.” She leaned into his hands, pressing a soft kiss to his open palm “Here you are telling me that you love me and I’m just.. so happy.” She looked up at him, there’s unleashed tears “When the multiverse decides to take you back I’ll go with you. I don’t have a home here, I don’t have a family and if you stayed here you’ll only be in hiding, running with me because I’m being hunted and I don’t want that when I know you have a life in your world. So when the time comes.. I want to go with you.” She smiles softly, happily and then she says it “I love you too.” There’s only truth behind those words, words that come straight from her heart.
Now the question is, how will they know when it’s time? “Tyler.. when the multiverse took you away from your world, were there any clues before it happened?” She asked “Or what did you do before it happened?”
@lovelylostminds
Tyler was still trying to wrap his head around the crazy events that had transpired over the last weeks. Being sucked into another dimension, not being able to go back home had messed with his head. Even more then he would have liked to admit. The only good thing about this all was meeting Charlotte, she was from this world, had seen the events that had transpired and helped him understand. She still seemed distant to him, closed off, like she was not telling him the whole truth. But could he blame her? He had done the exact same thing with her, besides telling her his real name and showing his face, something he had always kept a closely guarded secret on his own world, there had been very little about himself that he had shared. It still hurt him to talk about his mother about how he had failed to protect her, how he had failed to save Helena, the first and only girl he had ever truly loved. He wondered if she was destined to die too, everyone he had grown to care for died in the end. But Tyler couldn't help himself, even in what little time they had been hanging out together he could feel himself being drawn to her. Perhaps it was because she reminded him of himself. Perhaps it was the darkness he carried around being drawn to someone who was just as messed up as himself. Still he was careful trying to stay detached knowing it would only lead to more pain in the end. Seeing the first ray of sunlight creeping through the window he sat up straight looking at the bed on the other side of the room.
"Charlotte wake up. Sun is up already, we should get ready. Leave this place, something is telling me we have stayed here to long as it is."

Mr. Davis
Born on July 4, 1929 in Brockton, Massachusetts, Al Davis was ahead of his time. He is “ the only person to have served pro football in such varied capacities as (1) a player personnel assistant, (2) an assistant coach, (3) a head coach, (4) a general manager, (5) a league commissioner and (6) the principal owner and chief executive officer of an NFL team” (Pro Football Hall of Fame). He is best known for being the principle owner and general manager of the Raiders. When Mr. Davis came along as the new general manager and head coach of the team, he took the miserable 9-33-0 record team and evolved them into being one of the most decorated and feared team in professional sports with a record of 23-26-3 over a three-year span (Pro Football Hall of Fame). Davis would go on to become the commissioner of the AFL shortly after his booming success as head coach and was involved with the AFL-NFL merger that created the league we know today. One prominent aspect of his character and philosophy was that he would appoint individuals that were best suited for the job, regardless of race, sex, creed or any other arbitrary characteristic. Davis was the first owner to appoint a female as CEO of the franchise in league history. That CEO is Amy Trask. Another appointment of leadership was that the Raiders had the first Black head coach in the modern era. A player from the past known as Art Shell. As mentioned before Al Davis was ahead of his time and did not need the implementation of the Rooney rule, which is an established rule in the NFL that requires teams to interview ethnic-minorities for head coach and football operation positions. In my opinion this rule should be the Al Davis rule because he was a pioneer in giving opportunities to those that other teams would never consider. I wonder what Mr. Davis would have done if he were still alive today with the news about Brian Flores, a Black former head coach for the Miami Dolphins who was fired for exposing the organization of bribing him to lose games with payment incentives. There is no doubt in my mind Mr. Davis would give Flores a shot in the organization. Not because of the color of his skin, but because of the football intelligence Flores possesses. What do you think? Was Al Davis a progressive thinker with his decisions on changing the game of football both on and off the field?
