Beyond the Paper character reference chart is finally here! In color!!

I wanted to make the character’s less “bulky”, I guess, and more cartoony! :) This way, I can hopefully draw them less stiff and have more freedom with posing! Hope you like them! :D

Again, because I like to do this to myself, I'm gonna ramble about the og quest Cuphead and what I didnt like/ What I changed :>

Like I said in Mugs I dont think that the cup bros will join Bandy, Boris and Felix on the quest. Now on to the og... yay... First of all in the original it seemed like the og was only for the purpose for shipping. Which I dont want. So that won't happen. Now I didn't write a lot on what I didn't like but this man is not perfect in any way but one thing that I found interesting and kept is the manipulative nature of him. Because he is a villain I just wanted him to have no pleasant qualities. Even to the extent that he is not the greatest to his own little brother. Basically he has a kill or be killed mentality. I kept his age the same and even his outfit. If I remember I said I was gonna talk about Elder Kettle. To be fully honest I kinda forgor ._. ANYWAY Elder Kettle was Cupheads and Mugmans only kind of father figure/ parent. Childhood wise Cup would be your typical trouble child as Mug was more skittish. I would think that once Elder Kettle passes, most likely of old age, Cup does not take it lightly. He goes to alcohol and gambling (you can see where this is going). So like in the original it was said that the Ink illness was caused/ brought back by Cup gambling and losing. I'm not sure how to plan this. I don't know if I wanna keep that or like Cup and Mug find an ancient cave in the Casino or something. Thats all I can think of at this moment of writing this. If you do read this and you have questions feel free to ask so I can think about it and better explain it. Should I make a different blog making a Reimagining of qftim... IDK :> Let me know in the comments or somethin I've never done an ask blog type thing so tips will be appreciated. I wanna do my own ask blog type thing in the future so ye! I didn't draw Mug and Cup at the same time because If I did Cup first Mug might not have seen the light of day like Boris did for a while :'] But here we GOOOO!!!

Like with Bendy and Boris I'm gonna write an essay (Its not lol) about him :> You're welcome for giving Mug hair :]

I've thought about it and I'm making it so the cup bros dont really join the group with Bendy, Boris, and Felix but as they get the first ink piece Mug jumps in and saves Boris from the boulder monster or Cala. Now, I made is so Mug and Cup have no jobs but I guess their job is to stop Bendy and Boris. Now the stuff that I changed about Mug. In the original Mug was so childish to the point where I thought he was 16 and he wasn't :'] So I made it so Mug has a controlled childish personality. If that makes sense? Because of him being a young adult he is still not mature and because of a lack of father figure (No black hat will not be their dad) that is part of his childish personality. Another part is to make Cuphead smile which he fails most of the time. He is not so naive and he can think of solutions pretty quickly in a stressful situation. (I'll talk about Elder Kettle when I post Cups redesign) The main thing that I wanted to change was his interactions with Boris. Deeply Mug doesn't want to hurt Boris nor Bendy in anyway so I would think that only Mug and Boris know that they were in the same hotel. I would think that Mug and Boris would have a brother like bond. As Mug and Cup grow up and once they defeat the devil they develop more of a business relationship which Mug wants to break but Cup has no interest of changing that. Like a big brother Mug didn't have he would act like that to Boris. Again I'll talk more about Cup and Mugs past and how everything starts when I post Cups redesign. I hope you like this rambling and thank you if you read it :D I'll say this but I'll be open to questions, not for the characters, but for anything that I missed or needs better explaining.
