How about a meet cute cat sitter AU? Charles is a dog person but for some reason he got stuck with some kittens, he plans to re-home them but in the meantime he needs someone to check on them at short notice while he has to be away for the weekend. Cat sitter max shows up knowing everything about how to take care of them and being absurdly cute, Charles keeps the cats just to manufacture more occasions to meet the hot cat guy.
