Delirious | J. Uso|R. Reigns Two
Summary: When Titania buys an old typewriter from a closing thrift store, she thinks itâs just a vintage gemâuntil the words she types start coming true. However, the typewriter doesnât just bring fantasies to lifeâit twists them. Giving Titania way more than she bargained for.
Pairing: Titania Marshall (Black OC) x Jey Uso x Roman Reigns
Authorâs Note: This story is another AU thing. So, it might align, or it might not. I will try my best to keep it current enough. Nonetheless, itâs mash up of a few things: That one episode of Goosebumps. That one episode of the Twilight Zone. And that movie by the same title, Delirious featuring John Candy. Iâma make it work. Plus, I like mystical spooky shit with a bit of Jerry Springer type mess.
Warning(s): Will be updated each chapter. None for this.

I do not own any of the existing characters or lyrics from songs referenced in this story (if any). All rights belong to their respective owners with the exception of my original characters. Two
Titania woke to the faint hum of music and the unmistakable scent of pancakes wafting up from the kitchen. She blinked at the ceiling, groggy and disoriented. Had she left the TV on last night? No, that wasnât right. The typewriter... Jey...
Her heart raced as the memories from the night before came rushing back. She sat up abruptly, clutching the edge of her comforter. For a brief, hopeful second, she considered that maybe it had all been a vivid dreamâsome bizarre, storm-fueled hallucination.
Then the sound of a spatula scraping against a pan broke through her thoughts.
She swung her legs over the edge of the bed, hesitating. Every logical part of her brain screamed that this couldnât be happening, but the smell of butter and syrup was all too real. Slowly, she rose and crept toward the staircase, each step down bringing the sounds from the kitchen into sharper focus.
As she rounded the corner, her breath caught in her throat.
Jey Uso stood at her stove, his broad back to her, wearing a plain white T-shirt and gray sweatpants that hung comfortably on his hips. His damp curls bounced slightly as he hummed along to a song playing from his phone on the counter. He flipped a pancake with practiced ease, then grabbed a plate to stack it alongside a tower of perfectly golden ones.
Titania gripped the banister, her knees threatening to give out. âThis canât be real,â she whispered to herself.
Jey turned at the sound of her voice, his face lighting up with a warm smile. âMorning, beautiful.â
Her throat went dry. She stared at him, unable to form a coherent response as he wiped his hands on a dish towel and walked toward her.
âYou okay?â he asked, tilting his head as he stopped a few feet away. âYou look like youâve seen ghost, baby.â
âIââ Titania started, her voice cracking. She cleared her throat and tried again. âIâm fine. Just... didnât expect you to still be here.â
Jey chuckled, his grin widening. âWhere else would I be? Iâm not doing shows this week, remember? Figured Iâd get in some QT with my girl while I can.â
Titania blinked, her stomach lurching. He said it so casually, so naturally, like this was just another ordinary day. But it wasnât ordinaryâhe wasnât supposed to be here.
âRight,â she said weakly, forcing a tight smile.
Jey didnât seem to notice her unease. He gestured toward the kitchen with a proud little flourish. âCome eat before it gets cold. I made your favoriteâblueberry pancakes, extra syrup.â
Her stomach twisted even tighter. She hadnât told him her favorite breakfast.
Feeling like she was floating through a dreamâor maybe a nightmareâTitania followed him into the kitchen. Jey moved around the space with ease, grabbing plates and silverware like heâd done it a hundred times before. He slid a plate stacked with pancakes in front of her and sat down across the table, smiling as if nothing was amiss.
She stared at the food, her appetite nowhere to be found.
âSo,â Jey said between bites of his own breakfast, âwhatâs on the agenda today? You working on anything new?â
Her eyes snapped up to meet his, her pulse racing. âWhat?â
âYou know, writing,â he said, gesturing vaguely with his fork. âYouâre always saying how you donât take enough breaks, so I figured Iâd ask before you buried yourself in another story.â
Titania forced out a nervous laugh. âOh. Uh, yeah. Nothing big right now.â
âWell, maybe I can help you brainstorm later,â Jey offered, winking at her. âYouâve got all the talentâI just add the charm.â
She barely heard him. Her mind was spinning, replaying everything heâd said. How did he know so much about her? About her favorite breakfast, her writing habits? She hadnât written these details into her story last night, yet he knew them as if theyâd been together for years.
Jeyâs voice broke through her thoughts. âHey.â
She looked up to find him watching her with a concerned expression. âYou sure youâre good? You seem... I donât know. Off.â
Titania scrambled to recover, plastering on what she hoped was a convincing smile. âIâm good. Just didnât sleep well, I guess. The storm, you know?â
Jey studied her for a moment, then nodded, his brow relaxing. âYeah, it was rough. I kept thinking the power was gonna go out again. Glad it didnât, thoughâIâd have missed my pancakes.â
She let out a nervous laugh, fiddling with her fork. He went back to eating, chatting casually about his plans for the week, but Titania barely heard a word. All she could think about was the typewriter upstairs, and the impossible reality sitting across from her at the table.
----
Titania perched on the edge of the couch, watching Jey as he scrolled through his phone at the other end. He was sprawled out comfortably, his arm draped across the backrest like heâd claimed the space long ago. His phone pinged, and he laughed softly at whatever popped up on his screen.
âYouâre still in that group chat with Jimmy and Solo?â Titania asked, trying to sound casual.
Jey looked up and grinned. âOf course. That chatâs always poppinâ. Jimmyâs been spamming us all morning with videos of his kids singing karaoke. Soloâs mad âcause he says theyâre off-key, and Jimmy keeps telling him heâs just jealous.â
Titania forced a smile, her heart thudding in her chest. The level of detail in his answer made her head spin. Sheâd seen clips of Jimmyâs kids on Instagram before, but she hadnât written anything like that into her story. Yet here was Jey, acting like it was second nature to talk about his brothers, just like any other morning.
âI thought Solo would be busy training for his next match,â she said carefully, testing him.
âNah, heâs got a light day,â Jey replied, setting his phone down and leaning forward. âHe said something about watching film later, though. Heâs taking this stuff real seriousâtrying to hold it down for the new Bloodline, you know?â
Her hands tightened into fists on her lap. Everything he was saying lined up perfectly with what she knew about Jeyâs real lifeâhis brothers, his cousins, the way they worked together as a family in WWE. It wasnât just the facts; it was how effortlessly he remembered them, as if his world had been perfectly stitched into hers.
âYou sure you straight, Tee?â Jey asked, his brow creasing with concern. âYouâre awful quiet today.â
âYea, Iâm straight,â she said quickly, waving him off. âJust thinking about... stuff.â
âStuff?â he echoed, chuckling. âAlright, you donât wanna tell meâitâs cool. But you know I can see right through you, right?â
She swallowed hard, forcing another weak smile. âItâs nothing, really.â
Jey leaned back, watching her for a moment before letting it drop. He picked up his phone again, scrolling aimlessly, and the silence that followed was deafening.
Titaniaâs gaze flickered toward the stairs, where the typewriter waited in her room like a dormant storm. Her stomach churned. She needed to know more. She needed to test it.
An hour later, Jey wandered into the kitchen, whistling softly as he rummaged through the fridge. Titania seized the opportunity to slip upstairs, closing the door to her bedroom behind her.
The typewriter sat on her desk, gleaming in the afternoon light. Its keys seemed to taunt her, daring her to push her luck. Her hands trembled as she rolled a blank sheet of paper into the machine and rested her fingers on the keys.
She hesitated, her mind racing. What if this made things worse? What if she couldnât stop whatever she set in motion? But the curiosityâthe need to understandâwas too strong to ignore.
Her fingers began to move, clumsily typing:
Jey gets a phone call from his bosses asking him to fly to Tampa for a last-minute meeting.
She stared at the words, her pulse pounding in her ears. For a moment, nothing happened. The room remained still, the air heavy with anticipation.
Then, downstairs, she heard Jeyâs phone ring.
----
Titania froze at the sound of Jeyâs phone ringing, the unmistakable buzz cutting through the quiet house. Her breath hitched as she strained to listen, every nerve in her body on edge.
âYo, whatâs up?â Jeyâs voice called from downstairs. She heard him answer the call, his tone casual, like nothing was out of the ordinary.
Her heart raced as she edged toward the door, pressing her ear against it. She could hear Jeyâs muffled voice, the cadence of his words matching the exact scenario she had typed moments ago.
âYeah, no problem,â Jey said, his voice growing clearer as he walked toward the living room. âIâll head to the airport now. Should be able to catch the next flight out.â
Titaniaâs fingers curled around the doorknob, her grip tightening. This isnât possible, she thought. Sheâd written that line. Sheâd made it happen.
A minute later, she heard the faint sound of Jey ending the call. âBabe?â he called, his voice drifting up the stairs. âCan you come down here for a sec?â
Her stomach dropped. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of her room and made her way downstairs, each step feeling heavier than the last.
Jey was standing by the couch, his phone still in his hand and an apologetic look on his face. âI gotta head to Tampa,â he said, rubbing the back of his neck. âLast-minute meeting. They need me there ASAP.â
Titania stared at him, struggling to keep her expression neutral. âOh,â she said weakly, her voice barely above a whisper.
He sighed, walking toward her with his usual easy confidence. âI hate to leave so soon. I was looking forward to hanging out for a few days, but you know how it is.â
She nodded numbly, her mind racing. âYeah, I get it. Work comes first, right?â
Jey smiled, though it didnât quite reach his eyes. âIâll make it up to you when I get back, I promise. Maybe we can do something special next weekend?â
Before she could respond, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. The warmth of his lips sent a shiver through her, grounding her in a reality that felt too solid to deny.
âThanks for understanding,â he murmured, pulling back and giving her a soft grin.
Titania managed a small nod, her voice caught in her throat. She watched as he grabbed his luggage from the corner of the living room, moving with the easy familiarity of someone who belonged there.
âYouâre the best,â Jey said, flashing her one last smile as he opened the front door. The rain had stopped, and the afternoon sunlight streamed through, painting the doorway in warm gold.
And then he was gone.
Titania stood frozen in the living room, her hands trembling at her sides. The house felt impossibly quiet without him, the weight of the silence pressing down on her.
She sank onto the couch, burying her face in her hands. The call had been too perfect, too preciseâevery word, every detail unfolding exactly as sheâd written. The typewriter wasnât just powerful; it was terrifying.
She looked toward the stairs, where the machine sat waiting, gleaming like a predator in the shadows.
âWhat the fuck have I done?â she whispered.
----
The house was too still. The hum of the fridge in the kitchen and the occasional creak of the floorboards under the settling house only seemed to amplify the quiet. Titania sat on the couch, knees pulled to her chest, staring blankly at her phone.
The text Jey had sent stared back at her:
Made it to the airport. Thanks for being so cool about this. Miss you already. â€ïž
Her chest tightened. It was such a simple message, something any partner might sendâbut the weight of it crushed her. Sheâd written him into existence, conjured him with a few keystrokes. He wasnât supposed to be here, let alone texting her like they had years of history.
She dropped the phone onto the cushion beside her and buried her face in her hands. No matter how many times she replayed it in her mind, it didnât make sense. Jeyâs presence was seamless, flawless. He remembered his family, his career, even their supposed relationship, with a level of detail that terrified her.
It wasnât just what sheâd written; it was everything the typewriter had filled in on its own.
She stood abruptly, unable to sit still any longer. Her thoughts swirled in an endless loop, and she felt like she might suffocate if she didnât move. Titania paced the room, her bare feet soundless on the worn carpet.
Her gaze flickered toward the stairs, where the typewriter sat in her bedroom. A sharp pang of fear hit her stomach, but it wasnât enough to drown out the curiosity gnawing at her.
I have to understand it, she thought. I need to know how far this thing goes.
Before she could stop herself, she was halfway up the stairs, her breath shallow as she approached the door to her room. She paused, her hand on the doorknob, her heart thundering in her chest. For a fleeting moment, she considered turning back.
But the pull was too strong.
Titania pushed the door open and stepped inside, her eyes immediately locking onto the typewriter. It sat on her desk, gleaming innocently in the soft afternoon light, as if it hadnât just turned her life upside down.
She walked toward it slowly, her pulse quickening with each step. Her hands hovered over the keys, trembling. The temptation was overwhelming.
âWhat else can you do?â she whispered, her voice barely audible.
She glanced at the notebook sitting next to the typewriter, filled with half-baked story ideas and fanfiction concepts sheâd never gotten around to finishing. The pages were a chaotic mess of scratched-out notes, doodles, and snippets of dialogue.
Titania flipped through the notebook absently, her thoughts swirling. She could write something harmlessâsomething small, just to see what happened. No big risks.
But her fingers froze, hovering over the notebook. She remembered Jeyâs phone call. The typewriter didnât just execute her words; it brought them to life in a way that felt real, almost too real.
Her stomach churned. What if she wrote something that couldnât be undone?
Titania backed away from the desk, shaking her head. âNo,â she muttered to herself. âNot again. Not tonight.â
She left the room quickly, closing the door behind her as if that might contain the typewriterâs power. The moment she was back in the hallway, a wave of relief washed over herâbut it was short-lived.
The pull was still there, lingering in the back of her mind, whispering promises of possibility.
That night, Titania lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. The house felt empty without Jey, and the silence seemed to stretch endlessly around her. She couldnât stop replaying the events of the day, every detail solidifying the terrifying reality of what sheâd done.
The typewriter wasnât just a tool; it was something far more dangerous.
And despite everything, she knew it was only a matter of time before she sat down at that desk again.
----
Morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, soft and golden, but it did little to ease the tension knotting Titaniaâs shoulders. She sat at the edge of her bed, her phone in hand, staring at Jeyâs most recent text:
Landed in Tampa. Meeting starts in an hour. Call you later, babe. Love you.
âLove you,â she whispered to herself, the words foreign and heavy on her tongue. She hadnât written that, either.
Her thumb hovered over the keyboard, debating whether to respond. What would she even say? Every time she thought about it, her chest tightened. She finally set the phone down, her hands trembling.
The sound of rain from the night before had been replaced by the hum of birds outside, their songs drifting through the window. But Titaniaâs world didnât feel brighter. If anything, it felt more fragileâlike reality itself was teetering on the edge of something she couldnât control.
She pushed herself up and wandered downstairs, the ache in her chest deepening as she moved through the house. Every room still carried faint traces of Jey. The faint smell of his cologne lingered in the air. His towel was still draped over the armrest of the couch. A mug sat on the counter, forgotten in the rush to leave.
It all felt so ordinary, like heâd always been here.
But he hadnât.
Titaniaâs knees nearly buckled as the weight of it all came crashing down on her. She braced herself against the counter, gripping the edge with white-knuckled hands.
âI did this,â she muttered, her voice cracking. âThis is all my fault.â
She forced herself to move, tidying up the small traces of him that had been left behind. It felt mechanical, like going through the motions might somehow erase the impossible reality sheâd created. But when she finally sat down on the couch, the emptiness was suffocating.
Her phone buzzed beside her, startling her out of her thoughts. She grabbed it quickly, her stomach knotting as she saw another message from Jey:
Meeting just started. Hope your morningâs going good, Tee. Donât forget to eat!
Titania stared at the screen, her heart pounding. He caredâhe genuinely cared. And that made everything so much worse.
Her gaze drifted to the stairs, where the typewriter waited in her bedroom. She could almost feel its pull, a quiet hum in the back of her mind, promising her control over a world that had already spiraled out of her grasp.
She knew she shouldnât use it again. She knew it was dangerous. But a small, treacherous thought lingered, no matter how much she tried to push it away.
What if I could make it right?

itâs been a while since iâve shared my recent reads! so hereâs what i have picked up in the past months. felt inspired cause iâm really enjoying the story iâm reading now, w/c i initially picked up as a manhwa but iâm impatient so i switched to the novel. itâs called the hunter is gonna lay low or the hunter wants to live quietly. itâs such a gem! cause it starts of pretty simple and funny then the author manages to put in the plot and well, itâs plotting. lol.

if you like systems/dungeons, cast of characters, time travel, mystery and the most delicious slow burn then this is for you. i hope this gets animated at some point cause itâs so good! đđŒđđŒđđŒđđŒ this is the only novel on the list so itâs pretty special that the story led me to WANT to read the source.
iâm literally listing what iâve read so yeah. and pretty much a v short reaction to it cause there is a lot (53). itâs a mix of ongoing and completed works at the time of writing and when i read it so iâll mark that too.
1. Sweetie, Sweetie, Sweetie - this title is so misleading cause you would think itâs a modern story full of sweetness when itâs not. this deals with kingdoms/royalty, superpowers â and isekai.
2. How my Daddies Became mates (completed) - first foray into mangas because i most prefer manhwa/manhuas â i know, sacrilege. but yeah, itâs a cute story of two dad telling their kid how they met and fell in love. Itâs so wholesome! a short read when you feel tired of all the toxic bl stories. đđđ
3. Unintentional Love Story (completed) - pick this up! itâs so good! slice of life kind of vibe and falling in love in a small town.
4. Someone like You (completed) - this was something i started before and went back in now that itâs completed.
5. Isekai no Sata Wa shachiku shidai - i donât really go for Mangas but this one pulled me in! I love myself some isekai plot. itâs just sad that no one has updated the translation for so long so that may put some people off in picking this up.
6. Bend over Backwards (completed) - corporate slave x international model. if you like this kind of dynamic then go ahead. Only 40 chapters plus a bunch of side stories so this kind of thing is a good choice.
7. Dinner with a Vampire - pretty obvs with the title.
8. Mister Wonderful teases me
9. Romance but not Romantic - omegaverse! the kind where the omega needs the alpha but initially hated him.
10. Be, Be. - omegaverse with modern royalty!
11. Smoky Nectar 1 - a short read that continues to a part 2 and itâs good âđŒ
12. Smoky Nectar 2
13. Reincarnated to Devil King Evelogiaâs World - this is so uniquely unhinged that it became. endearing. No. I swear. I havenât read anything like it. I love it tho. Maybe some people will find it over the top but itâs now one of my personal faves.
thereâs an animated version of it if you wanna start with that just to see how cute they are lol.
14. Bullying the Dog - an MC who didnât get much love then he meets the ML who shows him what itâs like. itâs so somft.
15. Bittersweet Martini (completed) - iâm gonna cheat here and copy/paste the first comment on this story cause i think it perfectly describes the story: âIf you're looking for a casual pleasure read with a green flag story with heavy flirting, which leads to a lot of blushing but also deals with a more serious topic towards the middle, without leaning too much into the drama, then look no further.â
16. Over the Paradise - guideverse with zombies!
17. Hero vs Villain - what happens when the supposed hero and villain become friends and fall in love? this was so nice!
18. Night of London - vampire and werewolf pairing! come on! Letâs gooooo! đđŒ
19. Kill my love - omegaverse and assassins!
20. Turning - Another work that i would most likely pick up the novel version cause itâs that good! Regression theme! âŁïžplus the setting is they are in a kingdom where people have powers.
21. The Moon is coming to me - I have already talked bout this before and itâs one of my absolute faves! I didnât know the Manhua was released! So i was so happy to enjoy it in that form. The translation for this is very close to the end so pick it up!
22. Cozy Obsession - transmigration where the MC knows how the story goes so he is trying his best to change the ending.
23. Summertime (completed) - one of my favorites! love it when friends become lovers and some may say the ML here is manipulative but i wanna say in a good way. lol. anyway, itâs classic, atleast from the MCâs side that youâve known this person some time and that summertime everything has changed.
24. My way with you (completed) - gonna cheat again with this one by pasting here what someone commented: âLISTEN UP GUYS this one has everything: healthy happy relationship, supportive friends, trauma and healing, mysterious past connections, beautiful men, hot af smut, 100% consent, cutest lovey dovey couple, NO drama, NO âmisunderstandingsâ, NO second ml, NO annoying interfering side characters. You will cry, but because itâs just so good.â đŻ
25. Netkama Punch - i havenât finished and progressed much as i would like tho i know a lot of people have this as their favorite! I will get back to it! The premise of hidden identity and online gaming is one of my fave so i will surely pick this up again.
26. Through the Years - i havenât finished this yet but itâs a lot of peopleâs fave
27. Fools (completed) - disillusioned guy meets excitable puppy đ€
28. Moonquake (completed) - a very unique concept. people on earth have powers and then some of them decided to rebel and live in the Moon. Our MC is one of the best ones on earth and is supposed to bring down the leader of the rebellion. but you all know what happens, they fall in love! AHHHHH! and i have to say the art in this too is exceptional.
29. Menâs wear store and the Royal Princess (completed) - this may be weird for some or slow / not enough action lol. i enjoyed it tho! the MC cross dresses and finds someone who loves and accepts him!
30. Ex Hot Neighbor (completed) - a story that centers around a misunderstanding! MC thinks he canât date the neighbor cause heâs his friendâs ex. but nope!
31. Forest Sea (completed) - A good and solid fantasy story. Please give it a try! The whole birds vs snakes thing was kinda weird at first but the author made it work.
32. When you were asleep - this hasnât been updated in a while and itâs so sad because the art is topnotch! the plot is good too, especially the dreamscapes but thereâs still a lot to discover cause we wanna know what happened in the past. Why is MC even having these dreams and all that.
33. Beum & Goâs UnholyâŠ. - still ongoing and read few chapters
34. Spring, the color of love (completed) - what a wonderful story. Oftentimes, as a reader, you have that sense of boundary with the narrator. But this one â you can feel and understand what the MC is thinking and going through. even tho i havenât experienced what he did, i can totally get it. this is one of those tropes where they fall in love during their school years and some misunderstanding happens, they meet again years later and try again. something i would love to re-read even if there are parts of it that hurt. and itâs just proof that if something is meant to be, it will come back to you.
35. Keep Holding On (completed) - a short and sweet read with friends to lovers trope!
36. Wolf in the House (completed) - i am so late with this cause i feel like every list has this story as one of the best. I have to agree! itâs so good! tho i have to say iâm more attached to the second pairing. this one is a perfect mix of fantasy, action, comedy and romance. A solid recommendation!
37. Touch within the Abyss (completed) - AAAAAHHHHHH! a hitman x blind cinnamon roll! read it now! please! itâs so sweet! their love and care for each other is so pure đ„čđ„čđ„čđ„čđ„č
38. 99% in love season 1 (completed) - from bestfriends to lovers in the cutest way! they start fake dating and it leads to more obvs.
39. 99% in love season 2 - their college life and this one has smut scenes!
40. Alpha Trauma ( novel ongoing ) - if you know Omega Complex then you might be aware that this is a sequel of sorts but follows the second leadâs love story if you may. Everyone loves Dohyun so iâm one of those happy readers who is happy that he gets his own story, tho the POV in this is not his but his Omega. If you like ABO and campus setting then this may be for you.
41. Soul Sealerâs school life - The MC is the soul sealer who has to do good deeds to prolong his life, then he meets the ML who has a strong spirit in him. Itâs a perfect blend of fantasy, comedy and not so much romance as of the moment. The art is đŻ and i really like to see where this goes!

42. Guidance with Benefits - still ongoing and read few chapters
43. Chiguha Kuna Kisu (completed) - if you like a short read that will make you have overall good vibes then this is it. school setting, two cute boys, a fortunate miscommunication and starting a relationship. itâs so good and made me want to look for more mangas! đ€
44. Spicy Milk Candy - yandere but in a good way. thatâs all iâm gonna say.
45. Ruby Red wo Kamikudaku (completed) - iâm just gonna add the summary below but itâs truly a unique read!
Akane is an Omega who can see people's pheromones as multicolored "crystalsâ. During his school days, when he was lonely because of his peculiar constitution, he meets Makise, a school nurse teacher. 5 years later, they are miraculously reunited, but Makise has a secret
46. Yume Nara Doko Made Yurusaremasuka (completed) - corporate slave x young policeman. 6 chapters of sweetness!
47. Sparkling Baby (completed) - this is supposedly a sequel for the second lead, but i havenât read the first story. I just love how the MC/ML first met and then made a mark on each other as strangers â but it wasnât there time yet. and so they meet again later and navigate their lives together. What attracted me to this story is how the MC changed because of love. For years, he had this sense of what he think is love and looking back, maybe it didnât work out because love isnât supposed to be like that. What he found with the ML is real and why it feels different.
48. Ashita kimi no mono ni shite (completed) - this so wholesome! school setting and friends to lovers. quiet boy x cool guy
49. Koibitu Keiyaku chu ni suki (completed) - friends to lovers! fake dating. and well, look at them. so precious together:

50. Camboy Bunny (completed) - i think the title says it all. A delicious read!
51. Beyond the Memories - AAAAAHHHHHHH! the story in itself should be sweet and fluffy but the author manages to squeeze in the undercurrent of there is something wrong. as a reader, there is something big that we donât know and once it comes out â all of it will be shattered. it looks like there is some sort of regression and MC doesnât know this but the ML does. The question here is when his memories will come back and will he forgive the ML. We are not in that part yet with whatâs available right now so iâm excited!
52. Private Call (completed) - another omegaverse.
53. Senza Replica - guide/esper. very few chapters out and something i will go back to.
I read everything except the novel at BATO. đ«¶đŒ covering my may-october 2024 reads.

Wade had talked to his boss about what the guy running one of the drug warehouses had said. They assured him they'd keep us in the loop with any updates, but days had passed, and we hadn't heard anything. It was frustrating, but we knew this kind of waiting game was part of the deal. So, we went on with our lives, trying not to let the uncertainty hang over us.
I was still working at the flower shop with Laura, who had been under the weather lately. Wade and Logan had been going on missions without me since I had to cover some of Laura's shifts this week. I didn't mind, thoughâI enjoyed the quiet of the shop and the routine of arranging flowers, even if it meant missing out on the action. Logan and I had settled into a routine of our own. We made it a habit to have dinner together every evening, a small but comforting ritual that kept us connected despite our different schedules. Logan was always gone early in the morning, and I usually didn't come home until late afternoon after my shift. But no matter how busy the day had been, we always made time for dinner.
As I chopped vegetables for tonight's meal, my mind wandered to my upcoming birthday. It felt strange to think about, like crossing some invisible line into a new chapter of my life. I wasn't sure how I felt about itâexcited, nervous, maybe a bit of both.Â
Logan had been acting a little different lately, tooâmore attentive, more present. It felt as if we were becoming friends. The thought of it made me smile as I continued preparing dinner, the scent of garlic and herbs filling the kitchen.
In a few days, I'll be thirty. It felt like a milestone, and despite everything that had happened, I was looking forward to it. Maybe it was because, for the first time in a long while, I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to beâworking a job I enjoyed, living with people I cared about, and sharing dinners with someone who had become more important to me than I ever expected.
Logan stepped out of the shower, steam trailing behind him as he walked into the hallway, a towel slung low around his waist. His hair was damp, the droplets catching the light as they clung to the ends, and his muscles rippled subtly with each movement.
I glanced up from the stove as he entered the kitchen, offering him a small smile. "Dinner's almost ready," I said, my voice casual, but I couldn't help but let my eyes linger on him for a moment longer than usual.
Logan nodded, his expression softening as he approached the counter. "Smells good," he murmured, his deep voice carrying a note of appreciation.
I turned back to the stove, giving the pasta one last stir before switching off the burner. "I hope you're hungry," I said, reaching for a pair of plates.
"Always," Logan replied, and though his tone was light, there was something in his eyes that made my heart skip a beat. He walked back to his room and came out with a black shirt and pajama pants that I bought for him at the store when I went shopping with Vanessa.Â
As I plated the food, the comfortable silence between us was almost tangible. We'd grown used to these quiet momentsâthe kind where no words were needed; just the simple act of being together was enough. But tonight, there was something elseâa subtle undercurrent that made the air feel charged, like we were both waiting for something, though neither of us knew exactly what.
I handed Logan his plate, and our fingers brushed briefly, sending a small jolt of electricity through me.Â
"Here you go," I said, trying to ignore the flutter in my chest.Â
"Thanks bub," Logan said, taking the plate from me, his fingers lingering just a moment longer than necessary. His gaze met mine, and for a second, it felt like the world around us had quieted, leaving just the two of us in this small, shared space. But then the moment passed, and Logan turned to take his seat at the table, leaving me to follow. As I sat down across from him, I couldn't help but wonder what exactly was brewing beneath the surface.Â
After we finished eating, Logan got up to wash the dishes, which had become part of our routineâhe'd clean up whenever I cooked. I appreciated it more than he probably knew; it was one of those small gestures that made our arrangement feel less like just two people sharing a space and more like... something else. As he stood at the sink, his broad shoulders flexing slightly under his t-shirt, I decided to set up a movie for us to watch. I'd been slowly introducing Logan to pop culture, with Wade chipping in occasionally, and tonight felt like the perfect time to share one of my favorites from childhood: It, the 1990s version. It was one of those films that had both terrified and fascinated me as a kid, and I was curious to see how Logan would react to it. I popped in the DVD, the familiar logo flickering on the screen, and adjusted the pillows on the couch, making it as cozy as possible. Logan finished up in the kitchen and joined me, drying his hands on a towel before tossing it aside.
"What's this one about?" he asked, eyeing the screen as he settled in next to me, the warmth of his presence immediately noticeable.
"It's a horror film," I replied, a small smile playing on my lips. "About a creepy clown named Pennywise. It scared the hell out of me when I was younger, but it's a classic. Thought it'd be a good one to show you since you missed out on all the pop culture stuff."
Logan raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "A clown, huh? Can't say I've ever found them particularly scary."
I chuckled, leaning back into the couch. "Yeah, well, let's see if this one changes your mind."
As the movie played, the familiar eerie music filling the room, I found myself occasionally glancing over at Logan to see his reaction. It was subtle, just a quick look here and there, but I was curious if he was enjoying it or if he found the whole thing ridiculous. Logan sat with his usual stoic expression, his eyes focused on the screen. He didn't flinch during the jump scares, and I couldn't quite tell if he was genuinely interested or just being polite. But every now and then, I noticed the slightest twitch at the corner of his mouth or the way his fingers drummed lightly against his leg during tense moments. It was clear he was engaged, even if he wasn't showing it in the typical way. I smiled to myself, finding a quiet comfort in the fact that we could share this moment. It wasn't just about introducing him to a part of my childhood; it was about seeing how our worlds could blend together, even in something as simple as watching a movie.
As the long three-hour movie hit the two-hour mark, the room's atmosphere had settled into a cozy lull. The tension of the film's earlier scenes had passed, leaving behind a quieter, more introspective part of the story. My eyelids began to feel heavy, the day's exhaustion finally catching up with me. Without realizing it, I leaned against Logan, my head finding a comfortable spot on his shoulder. The warmth from his body, combined with the steady rise and fall of his breathing, was soothing. It was a stark contrast to the eerie ambiance of the movie playing on the screen. My consciousness drifted, the lines between the film and reality blurring as I succumbed to sleep.Â
Logan, feeling the sudden weight against his shoulder, glanced down at Violet. His expression softened as he noticed she had fallen asleep. He stayed perfectly still, not wanting to disturb her, though the unexpected closeness caught him off guard. There was something protective in the way he sat there, allowing her to rest against him, his usual guarded demeanor giving way to a rare moment of tenderness. As the movie continued to play, Logan kept his eyes on the screen, but his attention was divided. He was acutely aware of the soft rhythm of her breathing, the way her hair brushed against his arm, and the undeniable warmth of the moment that had quietly formed between them.

A few days had passed since that movie night with Logan, and now, it was my birthdayâthe big thirty. I woke up late, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains, promising a beautiful day ahead. There was a quiet excitement in the air, a feeling that today would be special. As I stretched and reached for my phone, I saw that it was already noon. Two notifications caught my eye, both simple but sweet reminders that people were thinking of me today. The first was from Vanessa, a bright "Happy Birthday!" with a string of emojis. The second was from Wade, in typical Wade fashion, a slightly more chaotic but equally heartfelt birthday message. I smiled to myself, feeling a warmth in my chest. Wade and Logan were out on a mission, so I had the apartment all to myself. It was unusual for me to wake up so late, but today, it felt right to indulge in a slow morning. I had the whole day ahead of me, and the possibilities felt endless. As I got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen, I couldn't help but wonder what the day would bring. There was something about birthdays that made everything seem a little brighter, a little more magical.
I put on my music and blasted it in my room while I sipped on my homemade iced coffee. The familiar beats filled the space, setting a vibrant tone for the day. As I got ready, I couldn't help but reflect on how much had changed over the past year. Life had taken unexpected turns, some challenging and others surprisingly wonderful.Â
Logan's presence in my life was one of those surprises. He had entered my world in a way I hadn't anticipated, and now, looking back, I realized how much I appreciated having him around. He wasn't the type to openly admit it, but I knew we had become close. There was a comfort in our routine, in the way we shared meals and moments of quiet together.Â
I decided to take my time getting dressed, choosing something that made me feel goodâcomfortable yet pretty. I slipped into a soft blue pastel mini dress that hugged my curves in all the right places, making me feel confident and effortlessly chic. The color complemented my skin tone, and the fit was just right, accentuating my figure without being too over the top. I let my hair fall naturally, the soft waves framing my face in a way that felt relaxed and authentic. For makeup, I kept it light and fresh, just a touch of mascara to bring out my eyes and a hint of blush to give my cheeks a natural glow. I finished it off with a swipe of lip gloss, nothing too bold, just enough to make me feel put together. It was my day, and I wanted to feel at easeâcomfortable in my skin, enjoying the simple pleasures of the moment.
Vanessa had planned a girls' day out since she had the day off today, and we agreed that 2 o'clock would be the perfect time to meet up. To start my birthday right, I made myself a special breakfastâtwo pancakes topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. It was a tradition my grandparents had started, making this exact breakfast for me every year on my birthday. It's a tradition I will never break, no matter what.
As I sat at the kitchen table, the sweet scent of pancakes filling the room, memories of my grandparents flooded my mind. They had always made my birthdays special, and even though they were gone, their love and warmth still lingered in these small, cherished moments. Tears welled up in my eyes, the ache of missing them sharper on days like this. But I quickly took a deep breath, reminding myself that today was supposed to be a fun day, not one filled with sorrow. Wiping away the tears, I focused on the joy they would have wanted me to feel, determined to make the most of this day and honor their memory by celebrating the way they always hadâwith love, laughter, and a little bit of sweetness.

It was finally 2 o'clock when I heard a knock on my door. I was in the middle of washing my dishes, so I used my powers to unlock the door, yelling, "Come in!"
Vanessa walked in with a big smile on her face, her energy contagious as she practically ran over to me, wrapping me in a tight hug.
"Happy birthday, Vi!" she exclaimed, squeezing me like she hadn't seen me in years, even though it had only been a few days.
I laughed, returning the hug just as tightly. "Thanks, Nessa. You're in a good mood!"
"Of course I am! It's your big day, and we're going to make it amazing!" she said, finally pulling back but keeping her hands on my shoulders, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I've got the whole day planned, and trust me, you're going to love it."
Her enthusiasm was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile back at her. "Alright, alright. I'm ready for whatever you've got in store."
"Good," she said, giving me one last squeeze before letting go. "Now, let's get going. The day's not going to celebrate itself!"
I grabbed my purse, and with one last glance at my cozy apartment, we headed out the door, ready to take on whatever adventures Vanessa had planned for my special day.
As we walked in the hallway, Vanessa kept the conversation lively, talking about all the fun things we were going to do. We laughed and joked as we walked, the day already feeling special with just the two of us together.
But as we were heading down the street, Vanessa suddenly stopped and snapped her fingers.Â
"Oh shoot, I forgot my bag at my place. We need to swing by and grab it real quick."
I smiled, shaking my head. "No problem. You and that bag, I swear."
She laughed, looping her arm through mine as we changed direction toward her apartment. "Hey, a girl's got to be prepared, right?"
It didn't take long to reach her place, and as we approached the door, Vanessa seemed a little more excited than usual. She fumbled with her keys, her hands practically shaking with anticipation, which I found a bit odd but didn't think much of Finally, she swung the door open, and I stepped inside, expecting the usual cozy vibe of her place. But instead, I was greeted by the sight of streamers, balloons, and a huge "Happy Birthday, Violet!" banner hanging across the living room.
"Surprise!" a chorus of voices shouted, startling me as a crowd of our friends, including Wade and even Logan, who I thought was on a mission, popped out from behind furniture and decorations.
I stood there, completely stunned, my mouth hanging open in shock. "Oh my God," I whispered, taking in the scene. "You guys..."
Vanessa beamed, her eyes shining with happiness as she grabbed my hand. "Happy Birthday, Vi! We couldn't let you celebrate this big day without throwing you a party!"
Wade was the first to rush over, pulling me into a dramatic bear hug. "You're growing up so fast, sugar plum," he said in a mockingly sentimental tone, his voice dripping with exaggerated emotion. He even pretended to wipe away a tear, adding to the theatrics.
I couldn't help but laugh, playfully shoving him away. "Oh, shut up, Wade," I said, rolling my eyes but smiling at his antics. "You're impossible."
Wade grinned, clearly pleased with himself. "But you love me anyway, don't you, birthday girl?" he teased, wrapping an arm around my shoulders as we both looked around at the party in full swing.
I laughed, still in disbelief. "I honestly had no idea... This is amazing!" Logan stepped forward, a small, almost shy smile on his face. "Happy Birthday, Violet," he said, his voice gruff but sincere.I felt a warmth spread through me at his words, a smile tugging at my lips as I met his gaze. "Thank you, Logan," I replied softly, appreciating the genuine sentiment behind his simple words. There was a brief moment of silence, and in that pause, I could feel the connection between us, something unspoken but understood. It was a small, quiet moment in the midst of the party, but it meant the world to me. Vanessa squeezed my hand, pulling me back into the moment. "Come on, let's get this party started! We've got food, drinks, and plenty of surprises left."
As the music kicked in and everyone started to mingle, I found myself smiling from ear to ear. This was more than I could have ever asked forâa day surrounded by the people I cared about, feeling loved and appreciated. It was the perfect start to a new chapter in my life.
After hours of drinking and laughter, I felt the fatigue creeping in, and I quietly slipped away from the crowd, finding solace on the couch. The noise from the back of the apartment seemed distant as I sank into the cushions, taking a moment to breathe.
Not long after, Logan appeared, walking over to me with his usual calm demeanor. He sat down next to meânot too close, but close enough that I could catch the faint scent of beer on his breath as he leaned in slightly.
"I didn't want to give you this in front of everyone else," he began, his voice low and a bit hesitant. "But I got this bracelet for you. I thought you might like it... I don't know, if you don't like it, it's okay."
He held out a small box, his expression a mix of uncertainty and hope. I could tell he wasn't used to giving gifts, especially something as personal as this, and it made the gesture all the more meaningful.
I took the box from him, feeling the weight of the moment as I opened it. Inside was a delicate bracelet, simple yet beautiful, with a small charm that caught the light just right. It was understated, something that could be worn every day, and I could tell he had put thought into choosing it.
"It's perfect," I said softly, my fingers brushing over the charm as I looked up at him. "Thank you, Logan. I love it."
Relief washed over his face, and he gave a small nod, his gaze softening. "I'm glad," he replied, his voice carrying that familiar gruffness, but with a warmth that made my heart flutter.
I smiled, feeling a surge of affection for this man who had become such an important part of my life. "It means a lot that you thought of me."
Logan didn't say anything, but the look in his eyes spoke volumes. We sat there in comfortable silence for a while, the party noise fading into the background, both of us content to share this quiet, intimate moment.Â
⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿⊿
It was around nine o'clock when the party started winding down, and people began to filter out. Vanessa, still full of energy, suggested we should all head to the club just a short walk from here to keep the celebration going. Everyone agreed enthusiastically, and the idea of dancing and letting loose sounded perfect after the night we'd had. But as I glanced down at the pastel blue dress I was wearing, I realized it wasn't exactly club material.
"I'm going to head back to my apartment to change first," I said, and Vanessa nodded with understanding.
"Good idea," she said with a grin. "You've got that black mini dress I got you for Christmas, right? It's perfect for tonight."
"Exactly what I was thinking," I replied with a smile.
We all decided to meet back at the club once I was ready. As I made my way to my apartment, I felt a wave of excitement wash over me. It had been a while since I'd had a night out like this, and I was looking forward to letting loose. Once I got home, I quickly changed into the black mini dress. It was sleek and fitted, hugging my curves in all the right places. The fabric shimmered slightly under the light, and as I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence. This was definitely more fitting for a night out. With a final touch-up to my makeup and a spritz of perfume, I grabbed my purse and headed out the door, ready to rejoin the others and make this birthday one to remember.
As I made my way back to Vanessa's apartment, i could feel the excitement bubbling up again. The night was young, and the promise of dancing and fun with my friends had my spirits lifted. When I Â walked into Vanessa's place, everyone was already gathered, ready to head out.
Wade immediately greeted me with his usual flair. "Well, well, if it isn't the belle of the ball! That dressânow that's what I call club material," he said with an exaggerated wink, making everyone laugh. I smiled, giving a playful twirl. "Thanks, Wade. Nessa picked it out."Â
Wade grinned, clearly pleased. "Nessa's got good taste, no doubt about that. You're gonna be the center of attention tonight, Vi!"
As the group started to chat and gather their things, Logan's gaze never left Violet. He stood a little apart from the others, his eyes following her every move. The way the dress hugged her figure, the way her hair fell just rightâit all captivated him in a way he couldn't quite explain. There was something about seeing her so confident and radiant that made it impossible for him to look away. But, as usual, Violet was blissfully unaware of the attention she was receiving from Logan. She was caught up in the excitement of the evening, laughing with Vanessa and Wade, and completely oblivious to the way Logan's gaze lingered on her, filled with an intensity that only he understood. Vanessa, on the other hand, wasn't oblivious at all. She noticed the way Logan's eyes stayed fixed on Violet, the way his expression softened when he looked at her. A knowing smile tugged at Vanessa's lips as she exchanged a quick glance with Wade, who raised an eyebrow in response. There was definitely something more between those two, even if Violet didn't see it yet. With everyone ready to go, they headed out into the night, Logan walking close to Violet, as if unconsciously drawn to her. She, still completely unaware of the effect she was having on him, continued to chat with Vanessa, her laughter echoing down the hallway as they made their way to the club, ready to dance the night away.
Vanessa led the way, confidently striding up to the bouncer at the front of the long line. With a quick exchange of smiles and a nod, he unhooked the velvet rope, letting us bypass the waiting crowd. We walked in, greeted by the thumping bass of the music and the flashing lights that turned the club into a vibrant blur of color and sound. The energy inside was electric. The dance floor was packed with people moving to the beat, their bodies swaying in sync with the rhythm. The air was thick with the scent of sweat, perfume, and the faint tang of alcohol. It was the perfect atmosphere for a night of celebration. Vanessa and Wade immediately headed for the bar, eager to get the night started with a round of drinks. I followed, feeling the infectious energy of the place start to seep into my veins. Logan stayed close by, his presence grounding me amidst the chaos of the club.
As we reached the bar, Vanessa turned to me with a grin. "What's your poison tonight, birthday girl?"
I laughed, feeling the excitement bubble up inside me. "Surprise me," I said, trusting her to pick something good.
Wade leaned in, his voice barely audible over the music. "Something strong for the ladyâshe deserves it."
Vanessa nodded at the bartender, who quickly mixed up a colorful concoction and slid it over to me. I took a sip, the sweet yet potent flavors dancing on my tongue.Â
"Perfect," I said, raising my glass to them.
"To Violet's big night out!" Wade declared, lifting his drink high.
We all clinked glasses, the sound of the toast lost in the booming music but the sentiment clear. After a few more sips, Vanessa grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the dance floor, eager to get moving.
"Come on, Vi! Let's show them how it's done!" she shouted over the music, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
I couldn't help but laugh as Vanessa dragged me into the sea of dancers, the music pulsing through my body. "Rock Your Body" by Justin Timberlake blasted through the speakers, the infectious rhythm driving everyone on the dance floor into a frenzy. The lights flickered and flashed, casting everything in a surreal, almost dreamlike glow. It felt like we were in another world, one where nothing mattered except the beat of the music and the joy of the moment.
As we danced, I caught a glimpse of Logan watching from the edge of the dance floor, his eyes locked on me. Even in the dim light, I could see the intensity in his gaze, a mix of emotions swirling just beneath the surface. But I was too wrapped up in the moment, too caught up in the euphoria of the night to dwell on it.
Tonight was about fun, about letting go and enjoying myself, and I was determined to make the most of it.
After dancing to five songs straight, my energy began to wane, and I decided it was time for a break. The heat from the dance floor clung to my skin, and I could feel the light sheen of sweat forming on my forehead. I made my way through the dance floor leaving Wade and Vanessa in the crowd, dodging groups of dancers and squeezing past clusters of people. Finally, I spotted Logan sitting at the bar, his broad shoulders hunched slightly as he nursed a drink. I walked over to him, feeling the cool air by the bar providing a much-needed respite from the intensity of the dance floor. As I approached, Logan looked up, his eyes meeting mine. There was something in his gazeâsomething deeper, more intense than I was used to seeing.
"Taking a break?" he asked, his voice low, almost a rumble.
"Yeah," I replied, sliding onto the stool next to him. "Five songs in a row is my limit, I think. I needed to cool off."
He nodded, his eyes flicking over me for a moment, lingering just a bit longer than usual. "You looked like you were having fun out there."
"I was," I said with a smile. "It's been a while since I've let loose like that."
Logan took a sip of his drink, his gaze still fixed on me. There was a pause, a brief moment of silence between us that felt charged, like there was something unspoken lingering in the air.
"You want something to drink?" he finally asked, breaking the tension.
"Sure, I'll have a soda," I replied, still catching my breath.
Logan signaled the bartender, ordering my drink before turning back to me. As I waited, I couldn't help but notice how he seemed more relaxed here, away from the noise and chaos of the dance floor. But there was also that intensity in his eyes, the same one I'd seen earlier. It made me wonder what was going on behind that stoic exterior of his.
-
Logan and I had been talking for a while, the conversation flowing naturally between us despite the noise of the club. The energy in the room was electric, with the bass vibrating through the floor and the lights casting everyone in a kaleidoscope of colors. We shared a few laughs, occasionally letting the silence settle comfortably between us, a silence that felt more like understanding than anything else. But then, as if on cue, a guy appeared next to me. He slid in smoothly, cutting through the crowd with a kind of effortless confidence that immediately drew attention. He was tall, well-built, and his smile held that practiced charm that suggested he was no stranger to approaching women in places like this.
"Hey there," he said, leaning in close so I could hear him over the pounding music. His voice was smooth, almost too smooth, and it carried that easygoing assurance that made it clear he was used to getting what he wanted. "You look like you're having a good time. Mind if I join you?"
His eyes met mine, his gaze lingering just a bit too long as if to make sure he had my attention. I couldn't help but smile back, caught off guard but not entirely opposed to the idea. After all, it was my birthday, and a little harmless flirting wasn't going to hurt anyone.
"Sure," I replied, my voice light, matching his tone. "Why not?"
Logan's posture stiffened almost imperceptibly beside me, but I was too focused on the conversation with this new guy to notice. The stranger took it as a sign to move in closer, resting his arm casually on the back of my chair, his body angled toward me in a way that clearly marked his interest.
"What's your name?" he asked, his smile never wavering.
"Violet," I replied, still smiling. "And yours?"
"Mark," he said, offering his hand for a shake. His grip was firm, his touch lingering just a bit longer than necessary. "So, Violet, what brings you out here tonight? Celebrating something special?"
"Actually, yeah. It's my birthday," I said, feeling a bit of pride in the declaration.
"Birthday girl, huh?" Mark's smile widened, and he leaned in even closer. "Well, happy birthday, Violet. How about I buy you a drink to celebrate?"
I glanced at Logan, who was watching the exchange with an expression I couldn't quite read. His eyes were darker than usual, a storm brewing behind them, but he said nothing. It was as if he was trying to keep his composure, but the tension in his body was palpable.
"I'm good, thanks," I replied to Mark, still smiling but feeling a strange undercurrent of tension between Logan and me.
Mark, undeterred, simply shrugged. "Suit yourself. But let me know if you change your mind."He stayed close, continuing the small talk, his eyes never leaving mine. I could feel the weight of Logan's gaze on me, heavy and intense, but I brushed it off, assuming he was just being his usual stoic self.
As the conversation with Mark carried on, I noticed Logan's hand clench around his glass, his knuckles turning white. He was holding back, clearly, but from what? The realization that something deeper was going on hit me, but before I could say anything, Mark reached out, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear, his fingers grazing my skin.
Logan  set his drink down with a thud, the sound barely audible over the music but enough to catch my attention. "We need to talk," he said, his voice tight, almost a growl, as he stared at me with an intensity that made my breath catch.
Startled by the sudden change in his tone, I blinked at him, momentarily confused. "Now?"
"Yeah," Logan said, his eyes flicking to Mark for a brief moment before settling back on me. "Now."I hesitated, unsure of what had caused this sudden shift in his mood. But something in Logan's gaze told me this wasn't something to brush off. I turned back to Mark, giving him an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I have to go."
Mark looked between us, clearly sensing the tension but not entirely understanding it. "No worries. Maybe I'll catch you later?"
I nodded, though I knew there wouldn't be a later. I turned to Logan, whose eyes hadn't left me, and allowed him to lead me away from the bar, leaving the flashing lights and pounding music behind as we found a quieter corner of the club. The entire time, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to change, something that had been building for a long time.
Logan finally stopped, turning to face me, his expression a mix of frustration and something else I couldn't quite place. "What's going on?" I asked, still confused by the sudden shift in his mood.
He took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made my heart race. For a moment, he seemed like he was about to say something, but then, as if he couldn't find the right words, he just shook his head.
"Forget it," Logan muttered, his voice rough, like he was fighting to keep something buried deep inside. Without another word, he turned on his heel and walked away, leaving me standing there, stunned and alone.
I watched him disappear into the crowd, my heart pounding in my chest, my mind racing with confusion and frustration. What had just happened? Why had he pulled me aside if he wasn't going to say anything?
The music continued to throb around me, but I felt disconnected from it, from the entire scene. Logan had left me standing there with a million questions and no answers, and all I could do was watch as he vanished into the throng of people, leaving me wondering what the Fuck had just happened.

my other wips have been fighting me so i decided to return to this gem and it did not disappoint. i love being able to laugh while i write, lol
its also looking like this is gonna be a small series? (to be updated who knows when, but i'll create a taglist for it so lmk if you want to be added/dropped from that!)
part 1 is here
Taglist: @antsday :)
Katsuki contemplated the torn off receipt in his hand, slowly wrinkling the paper between his fingers and re-straightening it in even turns.
The ink was slightly faded- courtesy of an accidental encounter with his washing machine that nearly resulted in the machineâs death at Katsukiâs hands- but he could still clearly make out the string of numbers and the name Deku. The smiley face, however, had not survived.Â
After twenty minutes of staring, setting it down, picking it back up again, and glancing consideringly towards his phone, Katsuki decided it was time to stop being such a fucking loser and call already. Â
âIâm Katsuki fucking Bakugou,â he muttered to himself. âKing of the jungle.â
âWhat jungle?â Kirishima asked with a snort.Â
With a jolt, Katsuki spun on his heel, finding Kirishima sitting casually at his kitchen table, nursing a half-eaten bowl of cereal.Â
âWhen the fuck did you get here?â Katsuki exclaimed. âI thought I fucking confiscated your key!â
Kirishima waved his- Katsukiâs- spoon around in a yes-and-no manner, crunching around another mouthful of cereal.Â
Katsukiâs cereal, goddammit. And that shit was expensive.Â
âYou really think me and Denks didnât make copies?â Kirishima finally replied.
Katsuki crossed his arms, scowling.
âAnswer the other question,â he commanded darkly.Â
Kirishima grinned without an ounce of shame.Â
âLong enough to know that someoneâs got a crush,â he replied, drawing out the last word like a fucking twelve-year old.Â
Katsuki reached for the closest object- an apple, sitting nicely atop Katsukiâs fruit bowl- and lobbed it at Kirishimaâs head.Â
âMercy!â Kirishima cried, laughing and ducking away from the projectile.Â
âFuck you!â Katsuki reached for a can of air freshener next, catching Kirishima in the shoulder with it. âTrespassers donât fucking get mercy!â
âBro,â Kirishima cried, crawling awkwardly under the table while Katsuki continued to throw things at him, bowl of cereal balanced in one hand while he dragged Katsukiâs chair legs around to create a half-hearted wall. âCanât we just talk about our feelings like men?â
Katsuki practically growled in response, but the roll of paper towels in his grip lowered.Â
âI feel like I need to change my locks,â he spat.Â
âNo!â Kirishima despaired. âBut then how would I know my bro is having an emotional crisis?â
âIâm not!â Katsuki shot back, sticking out a foot to kick the chair in front of Kirishima, making sure that one of the legs rammed into his knee.Â
Kirishima made a wounded noise at the attack, shuffling further under the table. Then he sniffed dramatically.Â
âBakubro, do you smell something burning?â
Katsuki turned suspiciously toward the oven, abandoning the paper towel roll on the countertop. âAre you fucking kidding me?â he asked, striding over to investigate. âYou canât leave a fucking hot oven unattended, dipshit.â
Katsuki pulled down the handle but found its contents cold and empty.Â
âOh wait,â Kirishima said in his most annoying voice, âitâs just your pants. âCause youâre a lying liar. No emotional crisis, my ass.â
Katsuki slowly closed the oven but remained crouched in front of it, forehead falling against the door with an audible thunk of resignation.
This was just his life now. Trespassers and stolen food and schoolyard taunts he hadn't heard in over a decade. Â
Fucking Kirishima.
âI donât think your brain aged past thirteen,â Katsuki muttered scathingly.Â
Kirishima loudly slurped at his cereal, unbothered.Â
âSoâre you gonna call this guy or not?â
Katsuki let his forehead begin to slide unpleasantly down the oven.Â
âHow the fuck do you even know about him?â Katsuki complained dismally.Â
Katsuki could hear chairs being pushed away from the kitchen table and what was probably Kirishimaâs empty bowl being tossed in the sink, but he didnât bother to acknowledge the man until he had pried Katsukiâs head away from the oven door.Â
âDenki glanced at the security tape,â he explained. âAnd then showed it to me and Jirou.â
Katsuki took a deep breath through his nose as he mulled over the new information, then collapsed unhappily onto his back in the middle of his kitchen.Â
Kirishima dropped into a cross-legged seat beside him. âGeneral consensus was that you had a flirty encounter,â he continued. âOh, but Todoroki wasnât convinced.â
Katsuki stared unblinkingly at his ceiling.Â
âFuck my life.â
âSoâre you gonna call him?â Kirishima asked again, excited.Â
âAnd say fucking what?â Katsuki bit out skeptically. âIâm cool, go out with me?â
Kirishima raised his eyebrows in surprise. âWellâŠhe did give you his number, didnât he?â
âYeah, for the fucking bird.â
âUh, what?â
Katsuki suddenly shot up, eyes wide. âThe bird!â
Kirishima watched on in a mixture of confusion and concern as Katsuki quickly clambered to his feet and retrieved his phone and the scrap of paper heâd been obsessing over from the countertop.Â
âIâm so lost,â Kirishima whispered.Â
âFuckerâs a pet therapist,â Katsuki explained, somewhat manically, jabbing at his phone.Â
âHeâs a what?â Kirishima spluttered.Â
âThatâs my in,â Katsuki said, determined.Â
âWait. What happened to âIâm cool, go out with meâ?â
Katsuki clicked his tongue and angrily flicked his hand at Kirishima.Â
âShut the fuck up, itâs ringing!â

I made a Llama master post (at least for the llamagines tag)
Here is the master doc. Be aware that it has bonus stuff at the bottom and has 56 pages. So if youâre using an older piece of technology, please spare its life and use the smaller docs
It is organized from newest to oldest and each AU has subcategories for altered MCs and altered circumstances. For example, the siren AU has subcategories for siren MCs, fishermen sanses, etc. If there are any questions or suggestions on organization, feel free to contact me!
Here are the AU categories in no particular order (each is sub 10 pages except one):
The Alternate Meetings AUs- Bakers, criminals, farmers, etc. Misc universes where theyâre just regular fucked up guys but their circumstances have slightly changed. There are no special powers or mythical creatures.
Regular Sanses- The absolute longest category at 15 pages. Most are very general posts but plenty reference Aggre(g/v)ation, one of Llamaâs fanfics. Regular yandere, Dust, and Error are also within.
Supernatural AUs- Forest gods, zombies, werewolves, etc. Think Halloween or horror.
Fantasy AUs- Fairytale guys, wonderland cats, dragons, etc. Lots of storybook elements and mythical creatures. Has a lot of overlap with the animal AUs so there may be seemingly misplaced AUs in there.
Zoo Animal AUs- Zoo moths, zoo sirens, zoo skiders, etc. The wildly popular zoo animal boys. Hardly needs explanation.
Wild Animal AUs- Naga, moths, harpies, etc. The zoo animal boys but if they were free and living the dream. Again, there is plenty of overlap with the fantasy AUs considering theyâre fantasy animals but I thought they deserved their own categories (and I wanted to keep it all under 10 pages).
Sci-fi AUs- Robots, among us aliens, Portal robots, etc. Mostly has to do with robots and science-based AUs.
FNAF AUs- Yes, there are multiple FNAF AUs. Two pertain to the original FNAF game and Security Breach respectively and one specifically revolves around the daycare attendant robot boys.
Studio Ghibli AUs- Howlâs Moving Castle boys, Spirited Away boys, and Kikiâs Delivery Service boys. Those are all the AUs there are.
Mythology AUs- Death god Sans and a general god AU where everyone is a god including MC.
Gem AU- Set within the universe of Steven Universe. Iâll be honest, this is the messiest one of the bunch. There are a lot of posts and I started typing away on this one before I completely established how I wanted to organize everything. So some things are in the general category when they probably shouldnât be and there are a lot of subcategories for this one. I recommend going about it casually, haha.
Bonus Stuff- This is the bonus stuff at the end of the master doc for if you donât have the latest iphone.
If there are any questions or suggestions, feel free to message me here on Tumblr or on Discord if you found this that way!
Update: I can now confirm after a thorough inspection that all links work and are unrestricted! Thank you to all who requested access and let me know that some docs werenât open! The docs are open to all!

I got into Furry Paws (the dog breeding website game) recently and I considered trying out Flight Rising too because I figured Iâd enjoy a similar vibe but with dragons, but I am so wildly intimidated by the home page đ
it all looks terrifyingly confusing, am I just a bit stupid or is there actually a beginner friendly way to approach FL?
Oh hey no problem, I'm always happy to help! Flight Rising is pretty casual so you can always take your time setting things up, so don't rush yourself into an overwhelmed state.
The front page can be pretty daunting at first, but it's mainly for big updates(ones with images) and dev updates(side bar), you can play pretty easily with ignoring these as they don't update super frequently and usually don't interrupt game flow if you plan to play casually. There is a big anniversary update coming which will likely make waves, that will happen the 8th so keep an eye out for that.
Now onto more specifics. On the side bar you'll find all your personal stuff under Clan
Dragon Lair is where you keep your dragons, Nesting Ground is where you can breed dragons, Gather Items let you gather a set amount of resources each day, Clan Profile is where you can see your clan information and edit your home page in a way, Bestiary is to keep track of all the familiars you collect, Messages is for your personal messages, and Achievements is where you can see and collect your cite wide achievements to turn in at the Grand Exchange.
These are the areas you'll uses most, but second most important is Shop.
Here is where you can send you treasure and gems, as well as earn a few more in the Auction House and Trading Post. Purchase Gems and Merch are ways to use real life money so don't click on those much, and don't worry, the cite makes it pretty easy to get gems(premium currency) without spending money. The Marketplace is the main place to buy things for your dragons from apparel to battle items, it will restock every 15 min and will have flash sales indicated by a torch icon. Despite it's name, the Auction House is where users can sell their items and dragons for a set price(you can only bargain and auction by chatting). The Trading Post is where you can find NPCs who offer different ways to make cash daily or on an hourly basis as well as a weekly raffle and a trading cart. Crossroads is where you can set up trades with fellow players. Custom Skins is for making custom art pieces to overlay your dragons. And Grand Exchange has some unique NPC related shops that usually cycle with festivals or seasons, these usually take unique limited time currencies that will be found doing cite activities.
Next is Play, this is where you can get money and items via playing games or adventuring.
Fairgrounds has multiple simple games to earn a maximum of 75,000 treasure each day. The games have a fairly low payout so if you're not trying to min max, don't worry about the cap. Coliseum tho, this is where you can level up and send your dragons out to fight. There are multiple venues which get harder as your dragons level up, each of the venues have different drops but you can find familiars, food, and items in all of them, including genes for your dragons. Dominance is a way for the players of the cite to "battle" for the weekly discounts for the Marketplace and lair expansions. This is done by exalting dragons, I'm not too keyed into this part of the cite so I cannot add too much information on how this works, sorry.
And finally Library, a kind of catch all for the rest.
Forums is where you can chat with other players over many topics, you can also check guides here and ask for help(this is a generally nice community). Dev Tracker tracks anytime a dev posts, whether it be in the side bar or in the forums, it's just an easy way to check in on cite news. Which Waystone is for helping with daily tasks and for seeing what you can do on the cite at the time, you can toggle it on with a switch located in the upper right corner of their page, this will make a little waystone hang around your page as a quick hop back to the Which Waystone. Search allows you to search for other players as well as search for specific dragons. Scrying Workshop does three things, it can check a dragon's linage compared to another dragon to make sure they can breed, show possible offspring of two compatible dragons, and most importantly, scry dragons(aka play around with a dragon generator). Game Database is where you can look up any ingame item to see more information on it. Encyclopedia holds information on FAQs, cite lore, upcoming events, and logged retired events and items. Finally, support is how you an reach out to the FR team if you're having issues with the cite or other players beyond a forum post.
I hope this could help a little! I know it's a bit long and rambly, but I'm always open to more questions! Hope you enjoy these funky dragons

Hi, Iâm not sure if you remember me, I was the person who roleplayed with you on this account, I wanted to check in and say hi and hru
I AM OK, ALIVE, AND VERY SORRY!!! I am SO sorry for the inactivity and for basically ghosting the rp. I recently moved, and it was hell. then a year later we moved again, into a lesser hell but still hell. then a few months later another move but into our dream home! Busy is the biggest factor in why I went poof, be gone. to be completely honest, i have been going through the worst of art blocks. its now lasted a year and is still affecting me mentally, i had left art college because pursuing art as a job just... it really fucked me up ngl. Lately, it HAS been slowly getting better, as now our family in a more stable and amazing house (that i find frogs in the backyard every night, its literally heaven on earth) i've been able to recover No, my family life isnt unstable, no we arent financially destitute, and nO i dont have any mentally debilitating conditions (none that i can see and never been diagnosed). I say this so no one is disillusioned, I just had a long rough patch and consciously knew i had been neglecting my blogs, i just couldn't figure out how to get back into it. Procrastination really to you specifically, redzirpinkasmt, i am deeply sorry for falling off like that. There is no excuse. I know how annoying and maybe even scary it is to have a rp partner suddenly disappear, to be frank i didn't even know you responded. thats how out of it I was and i wont let that happen again, everyone at least gets a small message to ensure them they are heard and not ignored from now on. And im grateful you checked in i think thats very sweet and thoughtful.
Now finally, as the blog itself i have no idea if i will be continuing it. i want to. but I dont know if i will commit. when i first started it i never imagined this could be so demanding. and i guess im the one who made it demanding, lol. i have a tendency to make things harder on myself than need be. but should i start posting, things are gonna be D I F F E R E N T LIKE, VERY DIFFERENT. and WAY more laid back, with no exact timeline. The blog may have been neglected but the characters have been thought about a lot. VERY different, but I like them now. to give you guys a taste, ripper is no longer the bad guy. its morally ok to simp for her now/lol. anyway, ive been meaning to make this update for a long time but didnt have it in me. a few weeks ago, this would have had me sobbing. now im doing better and realizing that this should be a fun lil thing to do on the side. maybe ill start posting doodles or lil text stories, make this blog more casual. i dont know yet, but what i do know is that im very grateful for those who stuck around, and those who still send asks and like my stuff. IF i continue the blog, the asks i have in my inbox WILL be answered, dont worry. but they will be answered by the newer versions of these characters, the "rebooted" I'll call em. Anyways, thank you all and i wish you all a good night/day. also, gem galaxies controversy has led me to not play that game anymore. wont get into it now as this post is long enough but yeah, thought i should mention that

Wait I have to ask what happened to dig? I have it wishlisted and heard its got another free dlc in the works as well so I was looking forward to it (reported issues with softlocks/need for more varied items aside)
Don't get me wrong, I've spent over 90 hours playing this game and I still roll around in for a couple runs/trying to complete the DLC. My main problem is with how the game itself is structured.
I do like a challenging game, I like going in a game and being an absolute noob and then learn as time goes on in hopes of getting some rewads, and getting said rewards; whether is some extra content, upgrades, a secret ending or heck just progression in the story (if the game does have it). And Dig gives you that! You can get multiple endings and a heck ton of collectibles (some of them being upgrades, some just lore stuff)
The problem I have with this is, however, with how all of those rewards are not much great thing compared to the effort you must put to gain them. The levels are generated in a way that game selects a bunch of levels segments (of various difficult) and puts together a level, however unless you play on PC and have the last updates on, you have no way to know what segments you're gonna get and you can get very dang unlucky on just level one. By making the level going down, you don't always see where you jump off, there are issues with the spawning and dodging of enemies (they can just gang up on you leaving you little to no possibility to avoid them), the difficulty spike is absurd. In order to get the true ending, you must satisfy very specific requirements that are so hard to pull if the elements they are based on are just RNG. The whole game is based on RNG. Normally you would get a couple few static points for upgrading yourself in a roguelike, Dig doesn't do that. There were times I reached the final boss with basically no upgrade because of how unlucky I got.
Not to mention some of the achievements are based as well on requirements that are RNG-based. For example there is the "Dirty Poor" feat, but in Dig gems are literally everywhere the levels are designed so that you *will* get gems. You must be incredibly lucky to get those 3 gemless segments in the first world to get the feat, making it one of the most difficult feats to achieve not because of difficulty but due to being based on luck. And so many other feats are like that. I could give out more examples but I don't want to spoil much of neither the vanilla game or the DLC, but basically the whole game feels more like playing with a gambling machine rather than a roguelike.
Many players have reported such issues, alongside the bugs and glitches, but the difficulty was never adjusted. The possibility to select your own level segments is exclusive to Steam. No improvement was made regarding the entire game being so luck-based, and instead the DLC just adds more restrictions and further rises the already high difficulty spike to an insane degree that made many casual players drop Dig completely, and I know of less than five people who were able to 100% the game and DLC with cheat options on (extra life, powered up attack, etc. Etc.). Also enabling said cheat options make impossible to get feats.
The game ends up feeling like a chore to go through at times, as the player must rely more on luck than actual skill and adaptability. And so far, no change was made despite the multiple complains of fans; hopefully with the upcoming DLC they will fix such issues, but who to say. The last update ended up adding more issues than solutions, make more players drop, and add even more elements to the RNG blender.
Does the story pay off? Perhaps, but it does not make up for the hours and attempts it takes to actually finish the story. Nor do much the rest of aestethic rewards, nor the upgrades since you may just never get them in your run.
I feel like I was too harsh on Dig, and perhaps I am. I was really waiting for this game and was excited to see the characters and new levels but that wish just quickly wore off when I could not even get past half the game because I could not find, due to bad luck, the upgrades I needed to continue further in a non-hardcore way.
I would suggest playing Dig only to players who are down to spend a ton of time to progress and don't mind the amount of luck required, and just want to try experience the lore bits and visuals on their own rather than from a video. But I wouldn't feel in good faith suggesting this game without underlining the somewhat brutal difficulty and the fact it ends up relying more in luck and the player's patience rather than their skills. If you play it expecting a rogue-like, then it's not- exactly one lol. Think of it more like a arcade game.
That's about what I have to say about Shovel Knight Dig. I still do play it because I don't take too seriously unfair deaths and such, but I wish this game was more accessible to players of all kinds as some friends don't have as much time or energy to spend playing such a luck-based game. I think the game has the potential for being a genuine enjoyable experience for everyone and not just hardcore/completionists/similar kind of players but yeah, we got what we got, and devs both from Nitrome and YCG don't seem to care too much. Which is understandable considering all the projects they are making, but still somewhat sad.
#shovel knight#shovel knight dig#idk man I just wish this game wasn't so punishing and strict#If anyone has other notes to add feel free to rb and add them

Delirious | J. Uso|R. Reigns Teaser
Authorâs Note: First off I swear this the last story Iâm starting LOL! One story is coming to an end. Another will have to be paused until someone comes back. I need something to hyperfocus on... bear with me.
This story is another AU thing.
Disclaimer: This work of art is fictional in nature including the original characters created by me. I do not own any of the existing characters or lyrics from songs referenced in this story (if any). All rights belong to their respective owners with the exception of my original characters. This work is purely for entertainment purposes and is not intended to cause harm.

Preview of Chapter One
Titania only wanted to spice up her writing routine when she brought home the sleek black typewriter from a closing thrift store. Sure, the cryptic warning from the shopkeeper about stories "taking on a life of their own" was weird, but who actually believes that kind of thing?
She certainly didnât.
Until a stormy night left her fingers flying over the keys, weaving a fantasy about one of her longtime crushes, WWE star Jey Uso. A knock at the door shattered her daydreamâonly to reveal Jey himself standing there, soaked from the rain, with a bouquet of roses in hand.
He smiled, casually stepping inside like he belonged there.
âI tried to call, but I think the stormâs messing with the signal.â
Titaniaâs grip on reality slipped faster than her hold on the bat in her hand.
She had written him into existence.

TLR Fashion Posts: Meredith Alagona
Here is another fashion post I wanted to make, this time focusing on Meredith! I have honestly been wanting to make one of these for her for a while too, since I always had a general idea of her style but never explored it that much, besides changing it when I updated her character a while ago. This was one was particularly a fun challenge to try and look up inspiration references for, and I hope you enjoy! :3
(Her brother's: Brooke)
================================================
Meredith's style for a majority of her life was very classy and modest, not showing too much skin or drawing unwanted attention to herself. She dressed this way mainly because she had to under her mother's household and Mareas' culture, and for a long time she did not dare experiment with her style or dressing in ways that would have people making disapproving remarks of. Though, after she turned 18 and was given a little more freedom, she has been having fun exploring more of a relaxing, comfy and slightly revealing style. Has a lot of off-the-shoulder-style tops, ranging in length and sleeve-length, though she particularly likes cropped ones that can show off her navel piercing and lower-back tattoo. A few sleeve-less tops and short-shorts for warmer weather, flowy and baggy pants often in matching sets with her tops, more fitted pants when spending a fun night out, long flowing skirts that open up a little or have slits on the sides, shorter sarong-wrap skirts, strappy and revealing maxi-dresses, long cardigans, lace bralette tops, front-tie shirts, strappy halter tank-tops, short flowy sundresses, loose and comfy capris, and just basically anything that gives off a "fun day at the beach" aesthetic. She still dresses more conservatively when in council meetings or spending time with her family at home, but when she gets the chance to by herself or when out-and-about, she just likes to feel comfy and cute with her clothes. Has a decent-size shoe collection, which mostly consist of open-toe and sparkly silver wedges or short heels, but she does have an array of other sandals too for when going to the beach or just to wear casually around the palace.
For colors, she sticks mainly with a cool and neutral pallate. Blue makes up most of her clothes, with her preferring more lighter and pastel shades, but she does have a few pieces in dark blue. Also has a lot of pieces in silver or gray, with her preferring lighter, silver-gray or light bluish-gray shades. For other colors, she has some clothes in lighter turquoise, teal, or green-blue shades, and never anything in pure black or warmer hues. As white is the primary color for important royal events or other ceremonies in her kingdom(with secondary colors kept to a minimum and not the focus), she has a lot of pieces and formal gowns in that color, but in her casual wear she likes to keep it as only an accent color. As a royal, a lot of her clothes have been designed with and by the palace designers so they are of high-quality and material, but she enjoys going shopping for her clothes in her casual outfits, so a lot of them have been bought from stores around Aquarin as well. Most of her clothes are solid-color, but she does like stripes, oceans, or other beach-motifs for her casual clothes, and does like skirts and dresses that have ombre effects to them.
For accessories, she does tend to wear a few of them at once, but for the most part she will only add them on for royal or other formal events. They are all either plain silver or diamonds, but she does have quite a few with blue or turquoise gems. Long, drop necklaces, simple, dangly earrings often in a water droplet shape, simple silver bracelets, and rings, ranging from simple silver or diamond ones, but her engagement ring is a little more extravagant. Has a few ear piercings but usually wears simple diamond studs aside from her dangly earrings, but also likes dangly jewelry for her navel piercing. Usually has some sort of hair accessory on, which most of the time is water-drop tiaras, decorative and fancy hairbands, or one wide-brim sunhat for days at the boardwalk or beach. Some of her oldest accessories include black and brown tie bracelets or anklets, that she made with her brother Brooke when they were younger, done with blue and green beads and seashells that they collected at the beach during vacations.
For her hair, it is naturally wavy and very long, as she does like to have more of it to style. She wears it in a ponytail on a daily basis, but she will wear it down or in messy twin braids on her days off, and she does like styling it in fancy, braided updos for royal or formal events, sometimes styling her bangs back and out of her face depending on the occasion. She does also enjoy wearing makeup, but she keeps it light on a daily basis. Her usually look consists of mascara, light or pastel eyeshadows, and lip-gloss in light pink or red, but she will go for more fancy or glam looks for those royal/formal events. Enjoys having her nails done and loves going with her brother to the salon to get theirs done together, with her preferring to keep hers short and painted with bright blue shades or fun ocean designs. Not super big into wearing perfume, but she does have some fragrance mists in light, tropical scents.

With a little searching, it's possible to find timeless pieces like blazers, trench coats, and silk scarves that can elevate any outfit. Moreover, purchasing from thrift stores helps reduce textile waste and promotes sustainable fashion.Â
Classic designer hauls are a perfect way to indulge in high-end fashion without breaking the bank while being environmentally conscious. These designer products will enhance your wardrobe and your style.Â
Traditional Clothing Haul
Thrift stores offer an excellent option for finding traditional clothing items, which are often expensive to buy new. You can score unique pieces that add character to your wardrobe with patience and searching.Â
From embroidered blouses to handmade shawls, thrift stores carry a variety of traditional clothing options from different cultures. Moreover, buying secondhand clothes is an eco-friendly and sustainable way of shopping, as it reduces textile waste and carbon footprint.Â
So, next time you want to update your wardrobe, consider visiting your local thrift store to see what hidden gems you can find. These traditional outfits will make you stand out from the monotonous designs and dresses.Â
Retro Athleisure Haul
Retro athleisure is a popular trend that blends vintage sportswear with modern style. It's comfortable, trendy and perfect for a casual look. Thrift stores are an excellent place to find retro athleisure pieces at pocket-friendly rates.Â
You can find sweatshirts, tracksuits, and sneakers from Adidas, Nike, and Reebok brands. You can create a unique, sustainable, affordable, fashionable style by shopping at thrift stores. So, if you're looking for a new style, go for a retro athleisure haul at your local thrift store.
Vintage HaulÂ
A vintage haul is a great option for those who love thrift shopping. These treasures from the past offer unique and one-of-a-kind fashion finds that are often more affordable and sustainable than buying new clothing.Â
Vintage hauls can include anything from retro dresses, denim jackets, and band t-shirts to quirky accessories and statement jewelry. The appeal of vintage clothing is that it allows you to express your style while also contributing to reducing the industry's environmental impact.Â
So, next time you browse the thrift store, consider a vintage haul for a fun and sustainable shopping experience. Your vintage collection will outperform and offer you an aesthetic look wherever you want.Â
DIY Clothing Ideas
Embroidered Jeans
Embroidered jeans are a fun and creative DIY idea that can give new life to old denim. Choose a pair of jeans and gather embroidery floss in various colors to get started. Then, sketch your design onto the jeans with a washable marker or pencil.Â
Use embroidery stitches like the backstitch, French knot, and satin stitch to fill the design with your chosen colors. Once you're finished embroidering, gently wash the jeans to remove any markings and secure the embroidery.Â
The result will be a unique and personalized pair of jeans that show off your style and creativity. You can even go for a skilled embroidery artist if you want more specific designs. It will offer a luxurious look to the dress.Â
Fringed Tank Top
A fringed tank top is a trendy DIY clothing ideal for warmer months. To make one start with a plain tank top in a color of your choice. Cut the bottom hem off and then make a series of cuts up to the desired length of the fringe. You can use scissors or a rotary cutter for this step.
Once the cuts are made, pull each strip of fabric to create the fringe. To finish the look, add embellishments such as beads or sequins. This easy project can be completed in just a few hours and is a great way to update your summer wardrobe.
Upcycled Sweater
Transforming an old sweater into a stylish and unique garment is a great option for upcycled clothing and reducing waste. Choose a sweater you no longer wear, or find one at a thrift store. Cut off the sleeves and collar to create a vest, or turn it into a cardigan by adding buttons.
Use fabric scraps/patches to add embellishments, such as pockets or patches. If the sweater is too large, take it at the sides to create a more flattering shape. With a little creativity and DIY spirit, you can give new life to an old sweater and create a one-of-a-kind wardrobe piece.Â
Tie-dye T-shirtÂ
Tie-dye t-shirts are an awesome way to transform plain white tees into colorful works of art. You'll need a white cotton t-shirt, dye, rubber bands, and gloves to create your tie-dye shirt. Start by twisting and tying the shirt in various places using rubber bands.Â
You can create different patterns and designs. Then, mix the dye according to the package instructions and apply it to the shirt using a squeeze or spray bottle. Let the dye set for several hours or overnight, then rinse the shirt in cold water until the water runs clear.Â
Finally, wash the shirt in the washing machine and enjoy your one-of-a-kind DIY creation! Youngsters readily use this DIY idea to look stylish. Startup businesses are also trying this idea in creating different types of comfortable and stylish clothing.Â
ConclusionÂ
In conclusion, fashion doesn't have to come at a high price. Thrift store hauls and DIY clothing ideas are a great way to express yourself and stay on a budget. By learning how to style thrift store clothes, you can find unique and vintage pieces that make a statement in your wardrobe.
DIY projects allow you to transform old clothing into something new and personalized. Not only do thrifting and DIY save money, but it's also environmentally friendly. So next time you need a wardrobe refresh, consider checking out your local thrift store or trying out a DIY project.Â
You may be surprised at the amazing thrift store finds and creative possibilities that await you!

Ultimate Laptop Buying Guide: Navigate the Tech Jungle
This laptop page was last updated on 11/03/2025 Discover the ultimate laptop buying guide to make your next tech purchase a breeze! Explore expert tips, hilarious anecdotes, and essential considerations to find your perfect laptop match.
1. Introduction: Welcome to the Laptop Wonderland
Welcome, fellow tech voyager! If you're reading this, you're likely on a quest to find the perfect laptop, and let me tell youâitâs a jungle out there. With a gazillion choices and tech jargon that could make your head spin, the journey might seem daunting. But fear not! This guide is here to help you navigate the laptop landscape with ease and maybe even a chuckle or two. First things first, letâs set the stage. Whether you're a student, a professional, or just someone who loves binge-watching the latest series, there's a laptop out there with your name on it. But how do you find it? The secret lies in understanding your needs and balancing them with the latest tech trends. Spoiler alert: you donât necessarily need a laptop with all the bells and whistles! Now, grab some popcorn (or your snack of choice) as we dive into this laptop-buying adventure. Weâll explore everything from budget considerations to brand battles, all while keeping things light and fun. Ready? Letâs jump in!
2. Understanding Your Needs: Whatâs Your Laptop Persona?
Before you can find your dream laptop, you need to figure out what role it will play in your life. Are you a digital nomad who needs a portable powerhouse? Or perhaps a casual user who just wants something reliable for browsing and streaming? Identifying your âlaptop personaâ is crucial. For the aspiring writer, a lightweight model with a comfortable keyboard is key. Meanwhile, gamers might prioritize high-performance graphics and fast processors. And letâs not forget the creatives, who need a display with stunning color accuracy to bring their visions to life. Once youâve identified your needs, youâll have a clearer picture of what features to prioritize. Trust us, knowing what you want makes the vast sea of options feel a little less overwhelming.
3. Budgeting: The Art of Finding the Sweet Spot
Ah, the budget. Itâs the elephant in the room that we simply canât ignore. Laptops can range from affordable to "maybe I should sell a kidney" expensive. But donât worry, you donât need to break the bank to get a great machine. Start by setting a realistic budget. Consider what features are non-negotiable and what you can live without. Remember, a higher price tag doesnât always mean better performance. There are plenty of mid-range gems that offer excellent value for money. Itâs also worth keeping an eye on seasonal sales and price drops. Who doesnât love snagging a deal? Just remember to stay within your meansâyour wallet will thank you.
4. Operating Systems: The Battle of the Giants
When it comes to operating systems, the rivalry is real. Are you a Windows warrior, a macOS maven, or a Linux lover? Each OS has its own strengths, quirks, and fan base. Choosing the right one often boils down to personal preference and intended use. Windows is the versatile all-rounder, suitable for most users. Itâs widely compatible with software and offers a range of affordable to high-end laptops. macOS, on the other hand, is known for its sleek design and seamless integration with other Apple productsâperfect for creatives and Apple aficionados. For the tech-savvy and adventurous, Linux offers customization and open-source benefits. Itâs not for the faint-hearted, but itâs a rewarding challenge for those who love tinkering with their tech.
5. Processor Power: The Brain of Your Laptop
The processor is the heart and soul of your laptop. Itâs the component that dictates how quickly and efficiently your device can perform tasks. In the world of processors, Intel and AMD are the leading names youâll encounter. Intelâs Core i3, i5, and i7 are popular choices, each offering varying levels of performance. For general use, an i5 might be your best bet, balancing power and cost. Gamers and power users often gravitate towards the i7 or the AMD Ryzen series for superior speed and multitasking. Understanding the processor jargon can be a tad confusing, but remember: higher numbers typically mean better performance. Just donât get swept away by specs that you donât need.
6. RAM: The Unsung Hero of Multitasking
RAM, or Random Access Memory, is your laptopâs short-term memory. Itâs what allows you to juggle multiple applications without breaking a sweat. More RAM means smoother multitasking and a snappier experience. For most users, 8GB of RAM should suffice. Itâs enough to handle everyday tasks like web browsing, word processing, and even some light gaming. If youâre a power user or a gamer, consider bumping it up to 16GB for that extra oomph. While you might be tempted to go all out with 32GB, itâs often overkill for the average user. Save your pennies for other upgrades or a nice coffee machineâyouâll thank us later.
7. Storage: SSD vs. HDD, Let the Battle Begin
Storage is where all your files, photos, and precious cat videos live. But when it comes to choosing between SSD (Solid State Drive) and HDD (Hard Disk Drive), things can get a bit dicey. SSD is the new kid on the block, offering faster data access and better durability. Itâs perfect for those who want quick boot times and speedy performance. The downside? Itâs pricier and typically offers less storage space than HDDs. HDDs, while slower, provide more storage at a lower cost. Theyâre ideal for users who need lots of space for large files or who are on a tighter budget. Ultimately, a combination of both (a smaller SSD for your operating system and a larger HDD for storage) can offer the best of both worlds.
8. Display: The Window to Your Digital World
A laptopâs display is your window to the digital world, so itâs worth investing in one thatâs easy on the eyes. Consider factors like size, resolution, and display type when making your choice. For portability, a 13-inch display is ideal. Itâs compact yet offers enough screen real estate for most tasks. If youâre a movie buff or a designer, you might prefer a 15-inch or larger screen for a more immersive experience. Resolution matters, too. Aim for at least Full HD (1920x1080) for crisp visuals. If youâre a designer, a 4K display might be worth the splurge for that extra detail. Finally, consider the display typeâIPS panels offer better color accuracy and viewing angles compared to TN panels.
9. Battery Life: Keeping the Juice Flowing
Nothing kills the vibe like a dying battery. Whether youâre working remotely or just browsing from your couch, a long-lasting battery is a must. Laptop manufacturers often tout impressive battery life, but real-world performance can vary. Consider your usage habits. If youâre constantly on the go, prioritize laptops with at least 8-10 hours of battery life. For homebodies who rarely stray from an outlet, battery life might be less of a concern. Remember, battery life depends on factors like screen brightness, running applications, and even ambient temperature. Keep these in mind to make the most of your laptopâs battery.
10. Brand Battles: Navigating the Great Laptop Debate
The brand you choose can say a lot about youâor at least, thatâs what the marketing teams want you to believe. While brand loyalty is a thing, itâs important to choose a laptop based on performance, value, and support rather than just the logo. Brands like Dell, HP, Huawei and Lenovo are known for their reliable performance and wide range of options. Apple is the go-to for sleek design and seamless integration with other Apple devices. Meanwhile, ASUS and Acer offer great value for budget-conscious buyers. Ultimately, the best brand for you is the one that aligns with your needs and budget. Donât be swayed by flashy adsâlet the specs and reviews guide your decision. And there you have it, folks! A comprehensive yet lighthearted guide to navigating the laptop-buying process. Remember, the key is to balance your needs with your budget and to have a little fun along the way. Happy laptop hunting! -
