she’s (basically) done!! I did break the sword and have to remake it (it doesn’t glow like it’s supposed to and cuz the light is super glued in I can’t take it out) but I cut off the excess lights that were gonna rap around the sword and now I just have one that doesn’t glow lol

So. I have stage three breast cancer, going through treatments. I finished chemo mid June and I'm going through radiation treatment. It's been tough going through all the treatments. The nausea, exhaustion, kidney spasms, loss of hair(it's not just your head, I lost eyebrows, eyelashes, body hair, etc...) neuropathy in my hands and feet, and my nails started peeling off. I lost my right breast and several lymph nodes from a mastectomy, so I also have scarring and nerve damage.

But through everything I've tried to stay optimistic. Humor has helped a lot. Calling myself a one tit wonder and joking about dressing as Krillin for Halloween.

When cancer takes your hair but it means you can cosplay the cool bald characters. I'm at the stage of treatment where my hair was just growing back.

I saw Deadpool and Wolverine on opening night. It didn't click for me until after the movie was done and I went to the bathroom. I was like "ohh yeah..."

I laughed with my husband and as we were leaving a kid was telling his dad that "she kind of looks like that character."

This is literally a closet cosplay. Put on a sports bra. I raided my husband's closet for the shirt and pants. Makeup is literally just some lipstick and filling in my missing eyebrows. Makes me wish we had the jacket.

I guess I'm lucky that even though my hair is missing I'm told I have a nicely shaped head. Does make me feel a lot better as I wait for my hair to fill out.
