I am so happy that I took a crack at drawing the Big Boys from Toontown, it was genuinely fun to figure out how to draw some of them (they are not easy, but I think I managed to knock em out of the park!) Of course I couldn't be a TTCC fan without including the big lady herself as well!

COG ATTACK TRADING CARDS #1 - 15

I spent many many hours of my child life playing Toontown Online when it was ran by Disney, and many many hours of my adult life playing it now that it's entirely ran by fans for free. It's a game about cartoon animals fighting corporate robot bad guys called Cogs. The toon animals use comedy gags like throwing pies to fight the cogs, but the cogs themselves have attacks that are visual interpretations of business jargon but used offensively. Though the objective of the combat is to stay alive, it's funny to think about the millions of other players going 'oh no! not the paradigm shift! Not the water cooler!! Not the rolodex!!!' as the cogs attacked their characters. Back when Disney ran the game, they'd send out newsletters (which I have!) and trading cards (which I don't have) to members. The trading cards would be for things like the gags, the cogs, and important NPCs - but never the cog attacks. This is me filling this niche while drawing fan art for something I'm a fan of. It's a silly little passion project. I even wrote all the words on the backs.

I've already come to terms with the fact it's my very own Megalopolis - across other platforms if I were to look at the numbers critically I'd say these were... flops. But I enjoyed making them, and I'll make a post of my favourites at one point. If these find an audience here, I will cry happy tears - if not, then I've learnt a lesson from doing this.

Decided to take a stab at making a toon/cog oc some friends and I were imagining.

What if we got a cog that was a former toon? I thought it would be neat since we have Misty who wants to connect with toons, we have a toon turn their back on the other toons to help the cogs.

I imagined their fight would be some sort of rescue mission that ends up being a trap. And you'd have the challenge of them once being a toon to get around when fighting them. I was originally going to call them double agent, so maybe a part of the battle where he splits between toon and cog and that's how you get critical damage on him.

I definitely want to do more with Fink. He's so silly. Already imagining so much. Please feel free to suggest ideas or give me interactions you'd imagine him getting into. I already know him and Duck Shuffler are either bros or both salty the other is stealing their show.

There it is! My Toony Awards entry! I've waited until the awards day to post it, even if I was too impatient for it AAAAA

As you can see scrolling my blog, I'm IN LOVE with the supervisors. Their designs, their music, their battles and how all shows each personality of them is something that just enchanted me. That's why I decided to participate doing a tribute to them and their bosses. I'm not used to work digitally, so the whole drawing was a challenge for me and I'm very happy with the result.

If you didn't watch the awards, I can tell you that...I didn't win and I wasn't a runner up. But I wasn't expecting to win or anything, I just wanted to show my appreciation to the supervisors and make a contribution to the ToonFest from Latin America!

I also want to congrat Nicole, Chance and David for winning and being runner ups! 🫶🏼🎉

OverPhisher is a menace to everyone around him; the only reason he’s a manager is due to the massive amounts of damage his phishing emails can do. Unfortunately they tend to get sent to just as many fellow cogs, leading to a lot of money being juggled constantly. He’ll never be promoted due to this.

With @passioninblue ‘s SlotStalker, they were a toon but switched over due to the overstimulation of toon culture and gags in general. This is something she now regrets due to the cogs general fucked up-ness. Theyre Duck Shufflers talent manager now and making the best of things

COG ATTACK TRADING CARDS #27 - 30

The Cog Facility Supervisors from the recent Under New Management update on Toontown Rewritten. These are less attacks and more gameplay mechanic meddling, but offensive in nature against Toons. I like how they all have such defined personalities in-game.

I made these ones have similar compositions in terms of 'things flying out of the frames' to link them all together thematically.

It's things like this, as well as the Manager bots from Corporate Clash, that show the boundless creativity and love the fans have for this game - not only to keep them online for free but to reinvent aspects of them with such flair. I find myself wondering why similar was never done during the game's original run - having a dedicated miniboss cog instead of just dropping a skelecog in.
