Malleus going from " I have to see through your demise personally for the slight you've done to me" towards Rollo and getting Lilia's full support on it until Malleus comes back to the dorm saying, " Lilia, we must refrain from our plan to get revenge against Rollo, for the last few weeks/months I've been having a homoerotic rivalry with him laced with sexual tension as we secretly plot ways to kill each other. It all boiled over just now and we spent the last hour and a half sloppily making out. You mentioned that this au was an excuse for Wayside School/Magic School Bus-esque shenanigans - what if the Substitute was a robot that the Professor built as a teacher’s assistant under the logic that nobody could be a better assistant to himself than himself (or at least a robot with his memories/personality)? Maybe he hasn’t been used in a while because the Professor can handle the current class by himself so he’s on sleep mode in the class closet or something, and one day when the Professor is sick and the kids are waiting for their substitute teacher to arrive they find and reactivate the Substitute because they miss the Professor and think a robot copy of him would be a much better substitute teacher than whoever the school got (shenanigans inevitably ensue)

I THINK WE CAN HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS HERE... it's more than possible the substitute's Software/Program still exists and is running, and it's just the Hardware that's inoperable. that way he can communicate to the students and orchestrate his return. an evil clippy

of course, they think they're doing the right thing, but they don't know the substitute wants immediate and violent revenge. a BIT dark for my Muppet Babies AU but i know the substitute girlies would love this. sorry kids your teacher has made some bad decisions in the past

8. Before death: his apartment. It was tiny, ran down, and overall just,, Shitty. But y'know it's where he Lived so he made do, kinda. Wasn't a safe space per se but it was safe enough that he could rest.

After death: literally wherever Rosie is. Partially bc sie's a Living Weapon (/lighthearted) and his main Protection Against Anyone Who Wants To Start Shit but also bc sie almost never lets him leave hir sight so he's just... Stuck there. with a giant cat laying next to him. Like technically he could fuckin up and leave but he wouldn't bc It Would Make Hir Sad :( dhsjJFJSJS
