Oscars: A Record 170 Films Submitted in Documentary Feature Race

‘Jane,’ ‘Icarus’ and ‘An Inconvenient Sequel’ are among the many submitted docs.

A document 170 options have been submitted for consideration for the 90th Academy Awards’ documentary function class.

A number of of the movies haven’t but had their required Los Angeles and New York qualifying releases. This record will likely be narrowed right down to 15 movies when a shortlist is introduced in December. An entire record follows.
