CARMEN Y LOLA (2018) dir. Arantxa Echevarría Carmen lives in a Romani community in the suburbs of Madrid. This weekend of football was a roller coaster for whoever watches both their men & women’s teams😂

Barça femeni won but Barça men draw

Arsenal women won but Arsenal men draw

Atletico Madrid men won but A.M women draw

Man City men won but Man City women lost

Man United women won but Man United men lost

Real Madrid men won but Real Madrid fem lost

Maybe playing on the same day is a curse for club🫣🤣

overall, it was a fantastic weekend for women's football in spain. barça won in a competitive match in front of a nice 15.000+ crowd at san mamés and real madrid lost at home! 🥳

but it was not a very good weekend in men's football in spain, with getafe proving why they are the definition of anti-football. and sadly, there were several terrible incidents of racism and xenophobia against barça's alejandro balde and real sociedad's takefusa kubo, ander barrenetxea y mikel oyarzabal 🙃
